11/30/08
I worked on both my Druid Wranngar and my DeathKnight Wrangar tonight. I got Wrangar to level 61 and got his training done. I was questing around the Temple of Telhmat in Hellfire Peninsula for the most part. I also went to North Rend with him so I could get Grand Master First Aid training. He can now level his first aid skill to 450, he currently has a first aid skill of 390. I was playing Wranngar in North Rend and have him about 3/4 of the way to level 72. Right now I am questing in Dragon Blight. I am not finding the quests difficult there, they are easy and go pretty fast. I am starting to fill out my Alpha Map again with the locations of quest items/points so when I come through on Wrangar they will all be right on my map. I hope to get on tomorrow and get Wranngar to level 72 and maybe get Wrangar to level 62.

Wranngar 11/29/08
I played Wranngar some more this morning. I got a few bars in and went to Darnassus to train. I got a few new ranks to my skills. I am assuming that I will train every level from 70 to 80 just like I did from 60 to 70. I did a bunch of quests in North Rend but didn't seem to get many bars out of them. It is going to take me awhile to get to 80 as I just don't have the time to play anymore like I used to and I also have my DeathKnight Wrangar that I am leveling up too. Wrangar is level 60 now. I am going to try and get on again later tonight and then some more tomorrow. I would like to get Wranngar to 73 and Wrangar to at least 61 before the weekend is over.

Wranngar 11/28/08
I played Wranngar for a few hours tonight and got him to level 71. It wasn't too bad and I am getting back into leveling. The amount of XP needed for each level is so much that even when you are getting 20,000 to 25,000 XP per quest it doesn't seem like much. I was questing in North Rend and the quests aren't hard at all. For some reason I am having a little trouble finding my way around but am starting to get used to it. I still haven't gotten any good gear from either drops or quests. I suppose some of it is good if you went there wearing greens to begin with.

Wrangar 11/23/08
I played Wrangar for a little while today but didn't have too much time. I didn't get another level in but got some bars of XP. I was questing in Hellfire Peninsula again. The quests still seem pretty easy and soloable on the DeathKnight. There are a lot of DeathKnights out there, I see them everywhere I go. They are easy to pick out, especially if they are mounted, because they all look the same at this point, wearing the quest gear. I am going to have to start really working on Wranngar and get him to go so I can start arena and get some good gear on him. Then I am going to finish getting my 100,000 kills and title. Hopefully I will have some time this week to get on and play.

Wrangar 11/22/08
I played both Wrangar and Wranngar for a little bit today. I got Wrangar to level 60 but Wranngar is still at level 70. I did some questing on Wrangar in Hellfire Peninsula then went to Ebon Hold to train when I hit 60. I am still finding this DeathKnight pretty easy to play. It has so many things that give you health back that I come out of most fights with full health and I can come out of a fight with 3 mobs a couple to a few levels higher than me with very little health loss when it is all over. It was also World of Warcrafts 4th anniversary and they gave everyone a Blizzard Bear pet. I made sure I logged into all my toons and got it out of the mail. It is a little baby white bear. It is the first pet I have on my DeathKnight. I am finding questing on Wranngar to be boring so I have been spending most of my time questing on Wrangar.

Wrangar 11/21/08
I didn't play too long tonight, I was pretty tired. I did get Wrangar half way through level 59 though. It seems to be leveling pretty quick. I was killing mobs 3 levels higher than me with ease. I saw a Horde DeathKnight flagged in Hellfire Peninsula but still don't think I am good enough to fight other people yet so I didn't attack him. I only did a few quests to get my half level. Leveling in Hellfire is pretty quick if I remember correctly from my other toons. I have this weekend off and it is supposed to be really cold here so I will probably be inside the whole time with a lot of time to play. I hope to get Wrangar to 65+ and Wranngar to level 72 at least.

Wrangar 11/19/08
I played Wrangar, my DeathKinght, for about an hour and a half tonight and got him to level 59. I was questing in Hellfire Peninsula and it went pretty good for the most part. I got to 59 there and went to Shattrath to get a Heartstone from the Innkeeper at Aldor Rise so I could set that as home. I went back to Ebon Hold and got training and changed the runes on my sword, thinking the whole time I could take that portal to Stormwind. Funny story, the portal was only there for the quest. I flew back to Stormwind and then went to Darnassus because I was going to do some battlegrounds with him but then decided not too. I haven't been playing it long enough and don't think I am good enough with it to hit the battlegrounds yet. Besides I want to get both Wrangar and Wranngar to level 80. I expected to get on early and get a couple levels yesterday but ended up not getting on at all. Tomorrow I might have another chance to get on early and, hopefully, get a couple more levels.

DeathKnight 11/17/08
I played my DeathKnight some more tonight. I think I am getting hooked on it or maybe it is just because it is so easy to level. I got Wrangar to level 58 tonight and was able to get out of the Vortex. I guess I am no longer Scourge but am fighting Scourge. It is all a little confusing. By the time I was able to leave the Vortex all my gear was upgraded to blues from quest rewards. One quest took me to Stormwind to talk to the King. The portal I took from Ebon Hold (I think that is the name of the place I call home now) landed me right outside Stormwind Gates. When I walked through them one guard threw a rotten apple at me and the other one threw a rotten banana. Then I got spit on a lot as I was walking through Stormwind and people were screaming in terror. From what I understand DeathKnights were once heros of the Alliance the went to the Dark side to fight for the Lich King. Now I am back on the good side fighting against the Lich King. Anyway when I talked to the king he straightened it all out and it's all better now. He gave me a quest to do and sent me off. A DeathKnight is kind of like a Warrior. I tried playing a Warrior once but didn't like it. I also heard the DeathKnights aren't what they are all cracked up to be but I am liking it so far. They seem to do pretty well for their level but now that I am questing out of the Vortex we will see what happens. I will be able to get on earlier tomorrow and hope to get him to 60 or higher. I already have my fast mount so I don't know if I will get anything at 60.

DeathKnight 11/16/08
I started a DeathKnight tonight, I was going to wait until I got Wranngar to 80 but wanted to see what it was all about. I had heard that you had to go into Stratholme and complete a quest to get one but all you really have to do is create one from the log in screen. I created one named Wrangar. He is still too new to show up in the Armory but I will link it when it does. You have to have a level 55 or higher character on your account on that server to create a DeathKnight. I did a few of the quests and got him almost to level 56. With a DeahtKnight you start at level 55. I also got my DeathKnight mount, just had to do a couple simple quests to get it. I will probably be going back and forth between the two to alleviate boredom.

North Rend 11/16/08
I did a little more questing on Wranngar in North Rend tonight. I didn't get to get on earlier like I had hoped so I only had a little while to play. I am about half way to 71 now. I did a lot of exploring, opened up the maps some more, and did a few quests. I had my first death in North Rend and it wasn't a mob that killed me, I ran off a balcony because I thought I was going to be going down a flight of stairs. Instead I fell about 4 stories and died. Tomorrow night I hope to have more time to play.

North Rend 11/15/08
I finally got on and was able to play again. I installed Wrath of the Lich King yesterday and figured I would try it out. I got on the boat and took off for North Rend. By the time the load screen cleared I was already pulling out of North Rend. I tried a few more times but had the same problem. I didn't have enough RAM (Memory). I went out today and picked up another GIG of RAM and installed it then tried again, the difference was incredible. I knew I was in trouble a couple patches ago when I stared getting a lot of lag and 1 fps in Shattrath but I didn't think I wouldn't be able to get off the boat :). I did some quests in North Rend on Wranngar and got 6 bars XP. A lot of people are playing with this new expansion, there are queues up to 90 minutes to log in on Aman'Thul. I did a bunch of exploring which is what I usually do in a new place and got a few quests done. I haven't gotten any really good drops yet and no rewards that are better than what I am currently wearing. I will play some more tomorrow morning when there hopefully won't be such a long queue time.

Battlegrounds 11/08/08
The daily today was Alterac Valley and I did it on Wranngar. I didn't have any time to play the last few days so I felt good to get on today. It took 3 battles in AV to get a win and get the daily done. I ended up fighting in 7 battles altogether, 2 wins and 5 losses. Needless to say the Alliance isn't doing any better in AV. There was only one battle where the Alliance held SHGY and cost us the battle though so that is getting better. In the other losses a couple were close and the others was just poor playing. I hope to get on and do some more later. I got Wranngar's hairstyle changed as part of an Achievement but I changed it back today. Attached is a shot of what his hair looked like before I changed it back. I thought it made my ears look like they were sticking out.

Battlegrounds 11/3/08
I fought in 3 Arathi Basin battles tonight on Wranngar. It was my daily again and it took 3 to finally get a win. Not as bad as last night but not great. The first battle I got into was already in progress. I thought we were going to win that one for a little while until I realized the fact we had 3 nodes when I came in was pure luck. After watching the other players perform I knew we were going to lose. It wasn't that they were playing poorly, they just weren't thinking, an all too common problem for the Alliance. They were leaving nodes with one person to guard it if they left any at all. I saw a few occasions where there was no one at a node. They were constantly on the move trying to get another base, leaving the ones they had poorly guarded, and the Horde were coming along and taking them. The next one really wasn't any better. I got in that one at the start and we were doing ok for a little while then it was back to one or none at a node and half way through the battle the majority of our team was at the Stables trying to get that back. Rational thinking would dictate if the majority of the Horde are there then there are some Horde bases left pretty much empty. No one could be torn away from the Stables though and we lost that one too. In the last battle I was in we actually had a 5 cap going on for a minute then we held 3 and had a 4th on and off. We won that one by about 600 points. Anyway I got my daily battleground done.

Battlegrounds 11/2/08
Today's daily battleground was Arathi Basin. I fought in 7 battles on Wranngar before we finally got a win. I had some pretty bad groups but the last 2 were pretty good. We were very evenly matched in the next to the last group, they won 1990/2000. That got them an Achievement too, winning an AB by 10 points :(. In the last group we were doing good, we had a 3 cap almost all the time, a 4 cap most the time and a 5 cap for a minute or two. We won that one by over 1,000 points but no Achievement in that. I am still happy I got the Blitz done in AV yesterday. I thought that one would take foever. I also fought in one losing AV tonight. We weren't doing too bad in it but the Horde got Vann down before we could get Drek down. We got Galv in that one too so we got some pretty good honor anyway. I have over 55,000 kills now, less than 45,000 to go for my title.
Battlegrounds 11/1/08
I hadn't played in a few days so I was happy to see that Alterac Valley was the daily when I did log on again. It took awhile to win one though. As usual I fought on Wranngar. I am not going to go into a lot of detail except to say SHGY played a major role in ALL our losses. I kept playing though, farming kills and all of a sudden the quality of people changed. It was a quick transformation, we went from losing groups that were lucky to get over 100 honor to groups that were doing the Blitz Achievement. The Blitz Achievemant is win an AV in 6 minutes or less. We got that one by rushing Drek right from the cave. There were a few players with full T6 gear and with a couple healers so there was no problem taking down Drek. No one took SHGY in those battles either, it was incredible :). There is one instance where you can take SHGY without too much repercussion. That is when we have all the GY's except SHGY. That causes the Horde to rez in their cave and we seem to have no problem winning at that point. I am still collecting honor to make up for the 55,000 I spent. I am back up to around 45,000, 30,000 to go.
