Blood Furnace 5/25/08

I helped out Stalleris in Blood Furnace today with Wranngar. Her group needed a tank so I tanked for them. The group consisted of Wranngar, Stalleris who is a 60 Druid, a 61 Rogue Alpex, a 62 Priest Miastone and a 62 Mage Diara. It was a pretty smooth run and we made it all the way through without anyone leaving. The Blood Furnace is an instance located in Hellfire Peninsula in the Outlands. We killed all the bosses and they got some nice loot.

Battlegrounds 5/24/08

After the daily battleground I fought in 3 AV's and 3 WSG's on Wranngar. We won one of the AV's and lost 2. In the won we won we rushed FWRH then worked backwards to get the towers and FWGY. We also got Galv in that one and after the Frostwolf Towers capped we went in and downed Drek, a pretty smooth run. In one of the losses I got in late and they were already losing, it appeared they went for Galv at the start, tactical suicide, and then decided to hold SHGY. That caused a turtle at SHGY which eventually moved back to Dun Baldar where we finally lost on reinforcements. In the other loss it was a case of people not working together, some went for Galv at the start, I don't know what the fascination is with him but he has cost us more battles, and a lot of people decided to dismount at IBGY and fight the Horde standing there while only a few actually followed the plan and went to FWGY. Being split up into small groups made it pretty easy for the Horde to wipe us out and we all ended up back in Dun Baldar where everyone decided to turtle and we lost on reinforcements. And of course there were a lot of AFK. I know Blizzard says they are doing something about it and I have read and posted in the forums about it but it appears nothing is being done, the problem is worse than ever. In Warsong Gulch we actually won 2 and lost 1 which was pretty good for a pickup group. In the first battle we won I captured the flag once and in the second battle I captured the flag twice and returned our flag 3 times.

Daily Battleground 5/24/08

The daily battleground today was Arathi Basin. It was also Arathi Basin's holiday weekend which made it a lot harder. All the weekend warriors were out in full force. There was, of course, a lot of AFK and people that only do battlegrounds on the holiday weekends for the extra honor. I was in 3 battles and it was pretty bad. I did it on Wranngar and Jacedic was in both of them with me and Axeelina was in the second one. I ended up deserting out of the second battle because I got so aggravated by the poor performance of most of the players. I went back in a few hours later and we won that one. I think it is the last time I will do the daily battleground on it's holiday weekend. The daily battleground pays 11g99s and 419 honor, not worth the aggravation of doing it on a holiday weekend.

Daily Fishing Quest 5/24/08

I did the daily fishing quest on both Gomorra and Wranngar today. It was Crocolisks in the City, one of the few daily fishing quests I can do on Wranngar because of his fishing level. I did get his level up to 237 today though so he is getting there. If you want to know the definition of boring it is leveling up your fishing. I had to go to Stormwind to do this one. Gomorra's "Bag of Fishing Treasures" contained 7g33s20c, 5 sharpened fish hooks and a razor sharp fillet knife. Wranngar's "Bag of Fishing Treasures" contained 6g53s24c, a rusted lock and 3 Elixir of Water Walking which is just what is sounds like, it lets you walk on water for 10 minutes. Still no recipe or other worthwhile reward but I will keep doing it periodically.

Daily Cooking 5/24/08

I did the daily cooking quest on both Gomorra and Wranngar today. It was Soup for the Soul. I went out to Nagrand on Wranngar and got the clefthoof meat I needed while I was doing Gaining the Advantage plus I sent the extra meat to Gomorra so he wouldn't have to go out and get it. I picked Barrel of Fish for my reward on both and got some fish but no recipe :(. The daily cooking quest pays 7g95s plus the reward. I will have to look and see what recipes I still need for each. This is one I will keep doing even after I have all the recipes because I think they have some seasonal recipes and you also some of the fish you get are hard/time consuming to fish for and really expensive if you buy them on the auction house.

Daily's 5/24/08

I did all my Shattered Sun daily's on both Wranngar and Gomorra today. I also did my daily's in Hellfire Peninsula, Nagrand and Shadowmoon Valley on Wranngar and my Nagrand daily on Gomorra. It took a little while but I got them done and made some gold :). Altogether today I made about 350 gold between the two. I fell about 100 gold short of what I make if I do them all on both but still, not bad.
