Daily Fishing - Jewel of the Sewers 2/12/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Jewel Of The Sewers for the daily fishing quest. I did this one on Wranngar, Gomorra and Brieanna today. This one is really easy and requires no travel time.

This one had heading down into the sewers to the Black Market. I have a spot there I like and have really good luck in. It didn't take me long to get the piece of Corroded Jewelry I was after today, less than 10 casts on each, and I was on my way back to see Marcia. I turned the Corroded Jewelry over to her in exchange for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g96s96c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking, 4 Solid Gold Coins and 4 Deviate Fish in it. An ok day of fishing for Wrann.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g75s91c, 5 Pygmy Oil and an Unusual Compass. Gom kinda got screwed on this one today.

Brieanna's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g38s68c, 3 Pygmy Oil, 3 Deviate Fish and a Sealed Vial of Poison. Sealed Vial of Poison starts a quest. The quest is to go and give it to Alchemist Cinesra in the Black Market. He gives you 13g23s for your time. This literally only takes about 30 seconds from the time you accept the quest, I love getting one of these. Needless to say, Brieanna had the best day of fishing today.

Convention at the Legerdemain - Daily Cooking 2/12/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Convention at the Legerdemain for the daily cooking quest, looks like we're back on that again. I did it on Wranngar, Gomorra and Brieanna.

This one had me running over to the bank to grab 4 pieces of Chilled Meat for the 4 Northern Stew I needed to cook, then over to One More Glass for a Jug of Wine. Once I had those I delivered them to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain, for cash and rewards.

Today he gave Wranngar 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and 4 Baby Spice in it. Not a bad day for Wrann.

Gomorra got 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 2 Northern Spices in it. Gom has seen better days.

Brieanna got 4g60s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad day for Brieanna.

Shattrath Daily Fishing - The One That Got Away 2/12/10

Today Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, had The One That Got Away for Brieanna's daily fishing quest. This is the same one I had yesterday... So much for variety. It will probably be the same one tomorrow too as they don't usually reset when they have a shutdown. This one is easy but takes some travel time, flying out to Nagrand then flying over to Lake Sunspring.

Anyway this one had me taking the flight path to Telaar in Nagrand, then flying over to my spot at Lake Sunspring (34,43). Once there I started fishing for the World's Largest Mudfish. It took me around 10 casts to get it today, not like yesterday where I got it on my first cast. Once I had that I flew back to Telaar and took the flight path back to Shattrath.

I flew over to Old Man Barlo and exchanged the World's Largest Mudfish for a Bag of Fishing Treasures which today had 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 4 pieces of Salvaged Scrap Metal. Not the best haul but I can really use the Sharpened Fish Hooks while I level up my fishing.

Super Hot Stew - Shattrath Daily Cooking 2/12/10

Today when Brieanna went to see The Rokk, (61,15) in Shattrath, for the daily cooking he gave her Super Hot Stew. This one is pretty easy but involves some travel time and you know how I feel about wasting time traveling lol.

This one had me taking the flight path from Shattrath to Zangarmarsh, then flying over to Forge Camp Terror to kill an Abyssal Flamebringer so I could cook my stew over it's remains. I grabbed the 2 Mok'Nathal Shortribs and 1 Crunchy Serpent I needed before I left Shattrath so I didn't have to farm those today. I killed an Abyssal Flamebringer and cooked my stew over it's carcass then flew back to Shattrath to turn in. When I went back to The Rokk I selected Crate of Meat as my reward. Today it had 3 Clefthoof Meat, 5 Chunk o' Basilisk and a Torn Furry Ear in it.

Brieanna Update 2/12/10

Brieanna is moving right along. She is level 75 now, less than 3 bars from 76, and has her Herbalism and Skinning, her primary professions, maxed out at 450. She also has her cooking maxed at 450, her First Aid at 436 and her fishing at 351. She recently got her 300 riding skill.

She has gotten almost all of level 75 in Alterac Valley fighting Horde. She has 14,151 kills now and is getting more every day. I love fighting on her in there, I love the range she has with a gun and bow. I would like to level her to 80 in the battlegrounds and get her PvP gear so she has most of it when she turns 80 but the queue's are so long for AV I don't see that happening. There were 3 days where I spent over 4 hours a day in queue and never got in. Just yesterday I started being able to get into AV again.

Recently she got her 300 riding skill. That cost me 5,000 gold plus another 95 gold for a swift flying mount for her to ride. I didn't have enough left over at the time to get her an Armored Snowy Gryphon, but I got her one today. That was another 1,900 gold. She is pretty much all set for mounts now.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 2/11/10

Today when I went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, for the daily fishing, she had Blood Is Thicker for us. I did this one on Wranngar, Gomorra and Brieanna today.

This one had me taking the flight path to the flight point in Unu'pe. Once there I flew inland until I spotted a Marsh Caribou to kill. Killing on of those, or an other animal the Druids protect, covers you in blood which you need to be covered in for this quest. Just stay away from the Druids while you are covered in blood though, they will kill you. Evidently they are a bunch of tree hugging savages. Anyway once I was covered in blood I flew back to the shore and jumped in creating a blood pool. I fished that until I caught the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy Marcia was looking for. I hearthed back to Dalaran from there and turned them in to Marcia in exchange for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g86s79c, an Elixir of Water Walking and a Porcelain Bell which I sold to a vendor for 100 gold. Not a bad day of fishing for Wrann at all.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g92s94c, 3 Pygmy Oil and 2 Worthless Pieces of Violet Glass. Gom has certainly had better days of fishing.

Brieanna's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g22s33c, 3 Elixirs of Water Walking, 2 Worthless Pieces of Red Glass and 4 Deviate Fish. She's had better days too, but she made out better than Gom.

Soup for the Soul - Shattrath Daily Cooking 2/11/10

When I went to see what The Rokk, (61,15) in Shattrath, had for me he gave me Soup for the Soul for my daily cooking quest. I did this one on Brieanna.

This had me taking the flight path to Nagrand then flying over to the Ancestral Grounds (25,59). Once there all I had to do was cook up my soup because I grabbed 4 Roasted Clefthoof from the guild bank before I left Shattrath. Once I had my soup cooked I headed back to Shattrath to hand it in to The Rokk and see what he had for me.

I picked the Barrel of Fish and got 4 Spotted Feltail, 6 Figluster's Mudfish and a Hoop Earring out of it. Not a great day, I was hoping for a recipe, but not a bad day either.

Shattrath Daily Fishing - The One That Got Away 2/11/10

Today when I went to see Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, he had The One That Got Away for Brieanna. This is a pretty easy one.

This one had me taking the flight path to Nagrand then flying over to Lake Sunspring (34,43). Once there I went to my spot and got the World's Largest Mudfish on my first cast. I flew back to Shattrath, then back over to Old Man Barlo to turn it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures which today had 6g85s70c, an Eye of the Sea, which made this daily worth it, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Rusted Lock. A pretty decent day of fishing.

Cheese for Glowergold - Daily Cooking 2/11/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Cheese for Glowergold for the daily cooking quest. This is one of my least favorites, because the Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses are so hard to target, but at least it doesn't eat up my mats. I did this on Wranngar, Gomorra and Brieanna today.

This one had me running around Dalaran looking for Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. I got at least 3 on each before I even left A Hero's Welcome so that helped. Once I had all the wine glasses I needed I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran, to get the piece of Aged Dalaran Limburger I needed. I found that pretty quick on all of them so all in all it went pretty quick today.

I combined the wine and cheese on the platter, that was supplied when I picked up the quest, and headed over to deliver it to Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange. This is a short distance from One More Glass, but not too far. I delivered the wine and cheese platter to him in exchange for rewards.

Today he gave Wranngar 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul for Wrann today.

He gave Gomorra 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 5 Northern Spices in it, a pretty good day for Gom too.

Brieanna got 4g60s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it. A good day for Brieanna too.
