Daily Fishing - Monsterbelly Appetite 2/10/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Monsterbelly Appetite for us again. This isn't getting old... I did it on Wranngar, Gomorra and Brieanna today.

This one had me taking the flight path to Un'upe then flying out to the icebergs and looking for a school of Deep Sea Monsterbelly to fish. I found a school on all of them, didn't have to just fish open water to get my Bloated Monsterbelly today. It only took 1 or 2 casts on each to get my Bloated Monsterbelly and I was hearthing back to Dalaran. Back in Dalaran I went to see Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer and trade in the Severed Arm, I got out of the Bloated Monsterbelly, for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g9s7c, a Glow Worm, 5 Solid Gold Coins, 3 Deviate Fish and a Bone Fishing Pole. I had never even heard of the Bone Fishing Pole and here I get 2 in one week. Needless to say Wrann had a pretty good day of fishing.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g31c, 4 Pygmy Oil, a Diamond-tipped Cane and 3 Deviate Fish. Not the best day of fishing Gom's ever had.

Brieanna's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g42s20c, 5 Pygmy Oil and 2 Crafted Stars, not a great day for her either.

Convention at the Legerdemain - Daily Cooking 2/10/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she gave me Convention at the Legerdemain for the 4th straight day in a row. So much for variety... I did this one on Wranngar, Gomorra and Brieanna today.

This one had me running over to the bank to hit my rapidly dwindling supply of Chilled Meat. It takes 4 pieces each, 12 a day. Once I had that I cooked up some Northern Stew right in the lobby of the bank. From there I was off to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran, to get a Jug of wine. Once I had the wine and stew I delivered it to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain.

Today he gave Wranngar 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices and 4 Baby Spice in it. Not a bad haul for Wrann.

He gave Gomorra 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices and 4 Old Spices in it. Not a bad day for Gom either.

Brieanna got 4g40s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it. A pretty good day all the way around.

Brieanna's Worg Pup 2/10/10

I went and got the quests Kibler's Exotic Pets and En-Ay-Es-Tee-Why tonight and got Brieanna her Worg Pup and a Smolderweb Hatchling. The thing I was really after though was the Worg Pup, I just got the Smoulderweb Hatchling because it was on the way.

I solo'd this at level 74. I wasn't sure if I could, it is a level 59 Dungeon, but I had no problem at all. It was the smoothest run I have had doing this to date and the first one where I didn't die and rez at the GY when it was over. Would have been quicker if I did die and rez at the GY instead of hearthing back to Dalaran and taking the portal to Ironforge then flying back to Burning Stepps to turn it in.

I went into the Dungeon and made my way to where the Worg Pups are. It is a bit of a ways in but I know the route by heart by now, this makes about a half dozen times I have gone in for one, either for me or to help someone else get one. I think the hardest part of the whole quest is getting past the spiders. There are a lot of them and they all come at you at once. Some are elite, some not. I picked up the eggs I needed for En-Ay-Es-Tee-Why at this point. I crept past things when I could and fought my way through when I couldn't. I finally made it to the room where the Worg Pups are. You need to target one, then right click on the empty Worg cage you got when you picked up the quest. You have to get pretty close for it to work. That will "capture" one. At that point all the other Worg Pups in the room along with Halycon an elite Worg attack you. This is the part where I usually die but today I got through it no problem, not even close. That left me standing there wonder what to do next lol. I hearthed back to Dalaran, took the portal to Ironforge, flew back to Burning Stepps and turned the quest in.

Both Wranngar and Gomorra already have these pets so now I have them on all 3. Personally I think it is the best pet in World of Warcraft, but that's just me.

Shattrath Daily Fishing - The One That Got Away 2/10/10

Today when Brieanna went to see Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, he gave her The One That Got Away for the daily fishing quest. This is a nice easy one that I hadn't done on her yet. I think there is only one left that I haven't done now, Bait Bandits.

This one had me heading over to Lake Sunspring (34,43) in Nagrand to catch the World's Largest Mudfish. I have my spot I go to and have always had good luck there on Wranngar and Gomorra, it worked out well for Brieanna today too. I got my Mudfish in 12 casts and was on my way back to Shattrath. Once I landed there I headed over to see Old Man Barlo and trade in my Mudfish for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today it contained 6g79s29c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks, which is good, I am getting a nice stockpile of those, and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife which I sold to a vendor for 4g28s.

The Kalu'ak Daily Quests 2/9/10

I did the daily quests for The Kalu'ak on Brieanna today. There are 3 of them and they each take me about 5 minutes to do.

The first one I do is Preparing for the Worst in Borean Tundra. For this one I just have to run around and collect 8 crates of supplies and turn them in. This one is worth 500 reputation for me and 5 gold. Pretty simple and it sometimes it corresponds with the daily fishing when it is in Unu'pe.

The next one I do is Planning for the Future. I have kind of mixed feelings about this one. For this one I have to collect 12 Snowfall Glade Pups and deliver them to Trapper Mau'i at Moa'ki Harbor. The way I do this is I go into their village, kill the parents and steal the pups. Not sure if that is right or not, but it is worth 500 rep and 5 gold.

The last one I do for them is The Way to His Heart.... For this one I have to net some Tasty Reef Fish, it takes me 7 although the quest says to get about a dozen, and then lure a bull cow over to a sea cow so they can find true love. Just call me cupid. This one is worth 7g10s and 500 rep.

So basically I am getting around 17 gold and 1500 rep a day doing these.

Daily Cooking and Fishing Quests 2/9/10

There is really nothing new to say here, the daily fishing and cooking in both Shattrath and Dalaran were the same as they were yesterday. Apparently after the shutdown, extended 4 hours, Blizzard didn't even take the time to reset the daily's... I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings...

I got the usual stuff form all these daily's nothing exciting.
