Daily's 1/13/10

I did all my daily's for The Sons of Hodir and Knights of the Ebon Blade on Gomorra today and did the Knights of the Ebon Blade on Wranngar too.

The ones I do for Knights of the Ebon Blade are Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire!, Shoot 'Em Up, From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and Intelligence Gathering. I don't waste a lot of time on Intelligence Gathering because there is a very poor drop rate so I hand that one in once a week or so. If I get one I get one, but I don't waste time hunting for them. These don't take me long at all, about 20 minutes or so. If I complete 5, like I did today, that gets me 66g15s. If I do all 6 it gets me 79g38s.

The ones I do for The Sons of Hodir are Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. These also take me about 20 minutes to complete and I make 66g15s off them.

So on an average day I make 132g30s per character, if I do them all on both, plus what I get from drops which is usually another 15-20 gold per character. Not bad for 40 minutes each.

Infused Mushroom Meatloaf - Daily Cooking 1/13/10

Today when Gomorra went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Infused Mushroom Meatloaf for him for his daily cooking quest.

This had me heading down into the sewers to pick 4 Infused Mushrooms. All the spots they used to spawn in that I haven't been finding them lately are spawning again so that is good. It didn't take me long to get the 4 I needed. With those in hand I headed back up to the bank and grabbed a couple pieces of Chilled Meat for the 'meat' part of the meatloaf. I cooked those up at a fire I built outside the bank.

I took the cooked Infused Mushroom Meatloaf and headed over to see Orton Bennet, upstairs at Curiosities and Moore. He gave me 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag for my trouble. He's a man that likes his meatloaf. Today my Small Spice Bag had 2 Northern Spices in it. That was kind of a let down but oh well, there is always tomorrow.

Daily Fishing - Jewel of the Sewers 1/13/09

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Jewel Of The Sewers for Gomorra's daily fishing quest. This is the only one you don't have to leave Dalaran to do.

This had me heading down into the sewers to the Black Market. I have a spot there I like and have good luck with. Today was no exception, I got my piece of Corroded Jewelry in 4 casts. I usually get it in under 10 but that was really good.

I took that back to Marcia and traded her for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g4s53c, 3 Pygmy Oil, 4 Deviate Fish and one of my favorites, a Sealed Vial of Poison. Sealed Vial of Poison starts a quest. I accepted the quest, which is to deliver the Sealed Vial of Poison to Alchemist Cinesra back in the Black Market. This takes less than a minute and pays 13g23s, not bad for less than a minute. All in all I would have to say it was a pretty good day of fishing.

Cheese for Glowergold - Daily Cooking 1/12/09

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Cheese for Glowergold for Gomorra again. Not a whole lot of variety lately.

This had me running all over Dalaran looking for Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. You can find them everywhere, usually in the establishments. Today I got 3 in A Hero's Welcome, 2 in Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly, and the last one at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop, when I went to get the Aged Dalaran Limburger. Once I had all the ingredients in my bag I combined them on the platter supplied, by right clicking on it, to make a wine and cheese platter.

I took the wine and cheese platter over to Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad return on this one today, better than the fishing.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker, again... 1/12/10

Today when Gomorra went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, for the daily fishing quest, she had Blood Is Thicker again for the 3rd day in a row. This is not a hard quest, the thing I don't like about it is the travel time.

This had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Un'upe in the Borean Tundra. Once there I flew inland until I found an animal to kill. In this case it was a Marsh Caribou. Killing that got me covered in blood which is what I wanted. I flew back to the shore and jumped in the water, washing the blood off me and creating a blood pool. I fished in the blood pool until I caught 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy. That doesn't take long as you catch them 2 or 3 at a time.

With the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy in hand I headed back to Dalaran to trade them with Marcia for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 8g13s49c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking and 3 Deviate Fish. Not a great day of fishing I'll tell you what.
