Alterac Valley - Wranngar 5/19/08

I fought in 4 battles in Alterac Valley on Wranngar tonight. We won the first 2 and lost the last 2. In the first 2 we had a good group and dominated, in one of the last 2, I got in about 3/4 of the way through the battle, our group wasn't as good but we still did pretty good. In the first 2 battles the plan was to rush FWRH and we did, capping IBT and TP on the way. We didn't get Galv in either of our wins nor did we get him in our losses. We got all 4 towers capped and took down Drek no problem. In our first loss we made it all the way to FWRH but there was no real organization. We had IBT and TP in both battles but didn't get the Frostwolf Towers capped before the Horde killed Vann. I will probably go back in a little later and do a couple more.

Daily Battleground 5/19/08

Today's daily battleground was Eye of the Storm. I did it on Wranngar. We won the first battle I was in. Actually win is an understatement, we owned them :). We started out, oddly enough, with BET, FRR and DR while the Horde controlled MT, but they only controlled it for about 45 seconds before we took it back. After that we were killing them as they jumped off their rock. We ran the flag and it was all over in a few minutes. We won 2000/60. I spent the battle at FRR, when we got there I thought it was too well defended, there were 6 or 7 Horde there and only 4 of us but we cleaned house. The daily battleground pays 11g99s and 419 honor.

Yonezoe 5/19/08

I took Wranngar and helped Yonezoe in Felwood today. We did all the quests there in a little while, yep I did them too as I never did them on Wranngar. Yonezoe leveled up to level 50 there. After that we went to Winterspring but she could only get a couple quests. I think tomorrow we will head on over to Burning Steppes and see what they have there.

Daily's 5/19/08

I only did the daily cooking quest, which was Soup for the Soul, and Gaining the Advantage on Wranngar today. It worked out pretty well as I had to kill Clefthoof anyway for the meat and from that I also got the Nether Residue I needed for Gaining the Advantage plus Heavy Clefthoof Leather as a bonus. I use the Heavy Clefthoof Leather to make the Clefthide Leg Armor. The daily cooking quest pays 7g59s and Gaining the Advantage pays 16g99s. No new recipe today :(.

Westfall 5/19/08

The Horde were attacking Westfall today so I went there and got some kills. I went on Wranngar and when I got to Sentinel Hill I saw about 6 flagged Horde ranging in level from 60 to 70. There were 2 70's, a Mage and a Hunter. I grouped with a 70 Hunter and a 61 Paladin and waited for an opportunity. The opportunity came when they decided to attack the Flight Master. The Flight Master has Elite Gryphon's that protect him and while they were busy with them we attacked, we killed them all. Then when they rezz'd we killed them again. After they rezz'd and died a couple times they stopped rezzing and waited until they were unflagged for PvP. I stuck around after that and had the pleasure of killing a 70 Priest twice and a 70 Hunter twice a little later on. The Hunter got away a couple times, he ice trapped me and ran away. Horde do a lot of running away both in and out of the battlegrounds. Once he realized his only option there was to die he disappeared. After that I tanked for a group in Dead Mines lol, little bit of overkill with a 70 in Dead Mines. We were racing the server shut down and it was the fastest Dead mines run I have ever done. We made it all the way through with about a minute to spare. Altogether I got 9 kills in Westfall. I got my first kill ever on Gomorra in Westfall.
