918,239 Lifetime Kills
Check out this guy, Fartzwrgoben, a level 80 Dwarf Rogue, on the Perenolde server, with 918,239 PvP kills. I wonder if Blizzard has an achievement for 1 million kills.
Alterac Valley and Eye of the Storm 11/10/09
I fought in a bunch of battlegrounds on Wranngar tonight. I fought in 12 Alterac Valley, 6 wins and 6 losses, and 4 Eye of the Storm, 1 win and 3 losses.
AV was my daily battleground again today, way to give some variety Blizz..... We won the second one I was in. I tanked Drek in the battle we won for my daily. When I ran into Frostwolf Keep and saw they were attacking Drek without a tank, or the tank had just died, I grabbed him. I don't really have the gear for tanking but I have no problem holding his attention once I get it, so I can do it if I have decent heals. I didn't know if there were any heals left alive or not but I caught his attention and lured him to the back of the room. There was someone healing me, they did a good job of keeping me alive, and I was able to hang onto him until we took him down. That got my daily out of the way. I have always liked AV as long as the people aren't too stupid and for the most part we had good groups today. The ones we lost were pretty close usually and we only had 2 where people held SHGY, keeping all the Horde rezzing in front of us. We did have one rare win while holding SHGY, we won that one on reinforcements.
When we start AV we are usually outnumbered by at least 10, sometimes as much as 20. It is a rare occasion when we start 40x40. Today was no exception. The thing that really hurts on top of that is when 10 or more people never even leave the cave. I am talking about the AFK losers. One of those, Mattchuck from Forstwolf, was AFK in every battle I was in. He was AFK in 12 battles. Now according to Blizzard people that are continuously AFK receive suspensions and can even be banned from the battlegrounds, but I see the same people in there, day after day, AFK. I always have, this is nothing new. This loser is a good example, if you look at his gear you can see this loser spends a lot of time being AFK in the battlegrounds, he is all geared in epic PVP gear. Good job Blizzard.....
Eye of the Storm was just a waste of my time. One battle we had a good group and the other 3 we had mostly Flagtards. One of the battles we lost we started out doing pretty good, people actually went for towers and we got 3, MT, FRR and DR. Then 3/4 of the team went Flagtard and it was all over. We were actually rezzing on the rock and still had over half a dozen people in the middle trying to get the flag.... There are certain times when EoS is a good battleground to fight in, tonight when I was in there was not one of those times. It seems like earlier in the day, my time, is the best time to get in there and fight. That must be when all the Flagtards are nappy. We had one good battle where people concentrated on the towers, which are what actually what win the battle, and we had a 4 cap going by the end of it.
Later: I logged back on and did a couple more AV's. We had one win and one loss. Even the loss was really close though, we had Drek down over 75% when the Horde killed Vann, it was just a matter of running out of time. Another 10-15 seconds and we would have had him. That was the first battle. The second battle we won. I didn't think we would because the only GY the Horde had was SHGY and then someone took that which had them rezzing in their cave. I figured they would all come swarming into Frostwolf Keep and wipe us out while we were taking Drek but we got him down first :).

Convention at the Legerdemain and Blood is Thicker 11/10/09
I got on Wranngar and grabbed my daily's. Today they were Convention at the Legerdemain again and Blood Is Thicker again. One thing about Blizzard, they know how to give you some variety to keep you from getting bored..... Maybe that's one of the reasons why they have lost over 1 million players. That, lack of security and piss-poor response time on tickets, I have had an open ticket now for over 24 hours.
I did the daily cooking first, I ran to the bank, grabbed 4 Chilled Meat and made my Northern Stew. Then I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran for a Jug of Wine. I found the wine behind the counter as soon as I walked in, that speeded things up a little. I ran over to see Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain to turn it in and get my 9g93s, Dalaran Cooking Award and Small Spice Bag. Today my Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it, an Ok haul I guess.
I was off to Un'upe to do some fishing after that. I took the flight path out of Dalaran and then flew out to the icebergs. I actually made a half dozen casts before I remembered I was doing Blood is Thicker and not Monsterbelly Appetite. I flew back to shore and flew inland to find a Marsh Caribou to kill. That covered me with blood so I flew back to the shore and jumped in to wash it off and create a blood pool. I fished in the blood pool until I had my 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy then headed back to Dalaran. I handed them in to Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in exchange for a Bag of Fishing Treasures which had 6g4s37c, a Glow Worm and 5 Solid Gold Coins in it. Not the best return on this one today.
