Daily's 5/23/08
I only did 2 of my daily's on Wranngar today, I have been pretty bad about daily's lately and have to get back into them. I did the cooking quest which was Manalicious and I had to go to Netherstorm and pick 15 mana berries. I picked Barrel of Fish for my reward but no recipe again today. The daily cooking quest pays 7g59s plus the reward. The other one I did was Gaining the Advantage. I got a few of the Nether Residue while I was getting the mana berries from the Lynx and Crocodiles that were attacking me and the rest from Clefthoof in Nagrand. I also got a bunch of Heavy Clefthoof Leather from skinning the Clefthoof.

Ramparts 5/23/08
I helped out a Guild member, Stalleris, in the Ramparts today. They had 4 and needed another DPS. I used Wranngar and we had a pretty good run, Stalleris was healing and did a really good job. We had one wipe when someone got feared into another group of mobs which happens sometimes. About half way through one of the people left but we decided to go on with 4 anyway and did well, that was after the wipe. The Ramparts is an instance located in Hellfire Peninsula.

Scholomance 5/23/08
I helped out a group in Scholomance on Wranngar today. They were looking for a tank in trade chat and I wasn't doing anything so I decided to help out. It was a Paladin quest for the Paladin mount. It was a pretty good run, no wipes and only one death, a Warlock that auto-targeted the wrong thing. We only had to go to the basement which wasn't too far in and clear that then the Paladin did a summoning ritual which got the doors locked behind us. Then we had to defeat 3 or 4 waves of "ghosts" and a Deathknight. When it was all over the Paladin got his epic mount so he was pretty happy. It was a very smooth run, one of the smoothest I have had in Scholomance. We had a full group of 5.

Battlegrounds 5/23/08
I fought in a lot of battles today on Wranngar. I was in 8 Eye of the Storm, 5 wins and 3 losses. We were doing pretty good for the most part, at least 3 towers capped and running the flag if not 4 towers capped. In our losses we were up against pre-mades and they were pretty good. In those battles we were lucky to hold 2 towers at one time and in a couple of the losses we only held one. I also fought in 16 Alterac Valley battles, 8 wins and 8 losses. We were at 50% which is pretty good for the Alliance. In our wins everyone worked together for the most part, although there were a couple of battles I was surprised we won. For the most part we rushed FWGY although there were a couple wins where we rushed FWRH and pulled that off. In a few of the battles we really dominated, the Horde were rezzing in their cave because they didn't have a graveyard to rez at :). Only one of our losses resulted in us rezzing in our cave. A couple of the losses were pretty close, we were on Drek, in one battle had him down to 8% when the Horde killed Vann, so it was just a matter of who was moving faster. In another one we were at Drek, had 3 towers down but not enough offense to pull it off. One battle the Horde had at least 10 people in with Drek and they also controlled FWGY so they were rezzing and coming back as soon as we killed them, that is why it is so important for us to control FWGY. A lot of the other losses, too many, resulted from people going to Galv at the start of the battle which is almost a guaranteed loss. The same people did the same thing in more than one battle, they didn't learn from their mistakes, it almost seemed like AV weekend. Going for Galv at the start wastes valuable time which would be much better spent getting towers and graveyards and usually results in everyone ending up back at Dun Baldar because we don't have a forward GY to rez at. Needless to say we had a few turtles but so didn't the Horde. Another mistake that was made more than once was holding Stoneheart Graveyard, that keeps the Horde in front of us and keeps us from advancing and getting our objectives. All together I got over 630 kills today so I was happy about that :). As usual AFK was a big problem in all the battles.
