Fishing - Wranngar 6/11/08

I worked on Wranngar's fishing a little more today. I went to Zangarmarsh and fished where I go to catch Bloated Barbed Gill Trout (78,74) for the Shrimpin' Ain't Easy daily fishing quest. I got his fishing up to 350 now, only 25 more to go. I caught a bunch of fish, 29 Barbed Gill Trout, 9 Spotted Feltail and 6 Zangarian Sporefish which I cooked up and put in the guild bank for anyone who needs it.

Daily Fishing 6/11/08

Today's daily fishing was Felblood Fillet again, 4th day in a row :(. Way to give some variety Blizzard. I did it in Hellfire Peninsula again at the Pools of Aggonar (39,37). I got my Monstrous Felblood Snapper on my second cast on Wranngar but it took me 19 casts to get it on Gomorra. I flew back and turned it in to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Wranngar got 7g16s89c, 6 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 3 Mote's of Water, nothing too exciting there. Gomorra got 7g27s11c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife. Nothing exciting there either but there are still some pretty nice rewards I haven't gotten yet so I will keep at it :).

Daily Cooking 6/11/08

Today's cooking quest was Super Hot Stew, I did it on Wranngar and Gomorra. I flew over to Blades Edge on Wranngar and killed Wind Serpents and Raptors I needed until I had enough meat for both him and Gomorra, then I cooked it up and flew over to Forge Camp Terror. I killed an elemental and cooked up the stew over the carcass. I flew back to Shattrath and turned it in. I mailed the extra meat I got to Gomorra then logged over to him and did it again. I picked Barrel of Fish on both and Wranngar got 5 Zangarian Sporefish, 4 Figluster's Mudfish and 2 Clean Fishbones. Nothing good there but I cooked up the fish and put it in the guild bank for anyone who needs it. Gomorra got 5 Zangarian Sporefish, 4 Spotted Feltail, a Huge Spotted Feltail and a Ruined Fishing Net. Nothing good there either but I cooked up the fish and put it in the guild vault. They each got 7g59s for this daily.

Daily Fishing 6/10/08

Today's daily fishing quest was.... Felblood Fillet again. Third day in a row. To have a little change of pace I went to Hellfire Peninsula (39,37) on both Wranngar and Gomorra to fish for it today instead of Shadowmoon Valley. It took me 8 casts on Wranngar to get the Monstrous Felblood Snapper I needed and 11 on Gomorra. The variety of mobs that attacked me while I was fishing there made it a little more interesting too. When I got back to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and turned in, Wranngar got 7g3s57c, 3 Elixir's of Water Walking and a Shadow Pearl in his Bag of Fishing Treasures while Gomorra got 6g68s46c, 3 Elixir's of Water Walking and a Gold Wedding Band, which I sold to a vendor for 15 gold, in his. Nothing good today but the rewards have been pretty good for the most part.

Yonezoe 6/10/08

I helped out Yonezoe some more today in Nagrand. I helped her on Wranngar. She got a bunch of quests done and leveled up to 65. She finished with all the Mastery quests and now that she is 65 a lot of new quests open up. Nagrand is not a bad place to quest, good mobs and good scenery unlike Zangarmarsh which is just a depressing place to quest in. Duskwood is another depressing place to quest in, dark all the time. We only got to quest together for a couple hours before she had to log off but I hope she hits 70 by this weekend so we can go back to doing daily's for awhile and make some gold.

Daily Cooking 6/10/08

The daily cooking quest was Soup for the Soul again. I got the Clefthoof Meat I needed on Wranngar while I was doing Gaining the Advantage, my daily skinning quest. I flew over to the Ancestral Grounds in Nagrand (25,59) and cooked it up. I had enough Cleafthoof Meat for Gomorra too so after I handed in I logged over to him and did it again. I got Barrel of Fish on both for my reward. Wranngar's had 6 Zangarian Sporefish, an Enormous Barbed Gill Trout, 2 Bright Baubles and Recipe: Delicious Chocolate Cake. The recipes are the reason to do the daily cooking. This recipe is blue (Rare) and the only way you can get it is through the daily cooking quest. I already have it on Gomorra. Gomorra got 9 Figluster's Mudfish and a Hoop Earring in his Barrel of Fish. They both also got the 7g59s that the daily cooking quest pays and Wranngar got 11g99s and a Major Rejuvenation Potion when he turned in Gaining the Advantage.

Yonezoe 6/9/08

I hadn't seen Yonezoe in a couple days but I saw her tonight. She is level 64 now and she was doing the Clefthoof Mastery, Talbuk Mastery and Windroc Mastery Quests in Nagrand. I gave her a hand on Wranngar and we quested for a couple hours. I got a lot of leather out of that :)). I ended up with 72 Knothide Leather Scraps, 53 Knothide Leather and 8 Thick Clefthoof Leather. I turned the Knothide Leather Scraps into 14 Knothide Leather then I turned all the Knothide Leather into 13 Heavy Knothide Leather. I got about 65 gold worth of leather helping her out tonight. I put 2 stacks of Heavy Knothide Leather I had on the auction house for 68 gold buyout each stack and sold out in less than 5 minutes. That was 130 gold I got after the auction house cut. Skinning can be very profitable.

Daily Fishing 6/9/08

Today's daily fishing quest was Felblood Fillet again. I flew over to Shadowmoon Valley on Wranngar and caught a Monstrous Felblood Snapper (40,59) on my 7th cast. I went back to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and turned it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today it contained 7g47s74c, 2 Elixir's of Water Walking and 4 Mote's of Water. Not good but not too bad either, the Mote's of Water will come in handy when Gomorra needs to make some more Primal Mooncloth for another Primal Mooncloth Bag bag for Wranngar. He has 3, only needs one more :).

Daily Cooking 6/9/08

Today's cooking quest was Soup for the Soul. I did it on Wranngar and I also did Gaining the Advantage while I was at it, I mean I was killing Clefthoof and Clefthoof Bull's in Nagrand anyway. I got a bunch of Knothide Leather which I made into Heavy Knothide Leather and I also got some Thick Clefthoof Leather. Heavy Knothide Leather and Thick Clefthoof Leather go for 45-65 gold a stack on the auction house depending on market prices when you put them on. By the time I was done with Gaining the Advantage I had 12 pieces of Clefthoof Meat so I flew over to the Ancestral Grounds (25,59) and cooked that to make Roasted Clefthoof, then I cooked the Roasted Clefthoof in the pot provided to get Spiritual Soup. I flew back to Shattrath and turned it in. I picked Barrel of Fish for my reward and got, 4 Furious Crawdad, 6 Figluster's Mudfish and a Fisherman Knife. I will be picking Barrel of Fish all week on both toons. I also got the 7g59s this quest pays. Then I turned in Gaining the Advantage and got 11g99s and a Major Rejuvenation Potion.

Shadow Labyrinth 6/9/08

I did a run through Shadow Labs on Wranngar today to get my Lower City Reputation up to Honored so I could get the Auchenai Key. I need that to get into Heroic Sethekk Halls to do my Epic Flight quest for Wranngar and get my Epic Flight Form. I got to Honored during today's run and got the Auchenai Key from Nakodu the Lower City Quartermaster. The run went pretty well, we had a good group. The group consisted of Wranngar my 70 Feral Druid, Nummo a 70 Affliction Lock, Soluna a 70 Holy Paladin, Tracool a 70 Marksman Hunter and Lepop a 70 Protection Warrior. Wranngar was DPS and Off Tank, Nummo was DPS and crowd control, Soluna was healing, Tracool was DPS and crowd control and Lepop was DPS and Main Tank. Everyone did their job well and there was good teamwork which always makes an instance run so much smoother. We worked our way to Ambassador Hellmaw and took him down without any problem. He spews acid everywhere but Soluna was able to keep up with the heals so we were good. Then we cleared our way to Blackheart the Inciter and took him down without any problem too. He has this thing he does where he makes you go into a Chaotic Rage where you basically run around like an idiot for 12 seconds, I think it is, and you can't break it. I had my Medallion of the Alliance equipped because some of the mobs in there fear but that wouldn't break it either. After that we cleared our way to Grandmaster Vorpil. We ran into a bit of trouble there when he joined in too early and we ended up wiping. We didn't pull the mobs back far enough. We regrouped and were a little more careful, we got the other mobs pulled back far enough away from him so he didn't join in, cleared them and then took him down. After that it was a matter of making our way to Murmur. We had to work our way through some groups of mobs once we got to his room but that wasn't the problem, the problem was a server reset. Bad time for Blizzard to decide to reset the servers. We were able to clear everything up to him without any problems but we were racing the clock when we went after him. He has this Sonic Boom thing he does that is just nasty. It was hitting me for close to 10,000 damage each time he did it. We were going too fast trying to beat the server reset and ended up wiping there with about 2 minutes left. I don't think wiping on him is unusual, I remember wiping a couple times the last time I was in there with a different group. There just wasn't enough time to get back to him and take him down. Of course after the server reset the instance was fully populated again so we called it a day. All in all not a bad run, one of the more enjoyable runs I have been on lately.

Daily Fishing 6/8/08

I did the daily fishing quest on both Gomorra and Wranngar today. It was Felblood Fillet. I got the quest from Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and flew over to Shadowmoon Valley to catch a Monstrous Felblood Snapper. I got one on my first cast on Wranngar and my second cast on Gomorra. I went back to Old Man Barlo and turned it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Wranngar's had, 7g22s96c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hook's and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife. Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had, 6g52s84c, 3 Elixir's of Water Walking, a pair of Antique Silver Cufflinks which I sold to a vendor for 11 gold and a Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat. The fishing hat is one of the reason's I do the daily fishing quest even though most of the rewards are nothing to talk about. This hat gives +5 to fishing skill and you can use it to attach a lure to your fishing pole to increase skill by 75. With the hat on (+5) plus Seth's Graphite Fishing Pole (+20), a Sharpened Fish Hook (+100) and my 375 fishing skill on Gomorra my top end fishing skill is now 500 :).

Daily Cooking 6/8/08

Today's daily cooking quest was Manalicious. I had to fly out to the Eco-Dome in Netherstorm and pick Mana Berries. Really easy quest, doesn't take long at all. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra. You have to pick 15 Mana Berries to complete the quest and really the only thing you have a problem with is the Gator's and Lion's that attack you while you are doing it but even they are no trouble. I stopped by and did Sunfury Attack Plans on both on my way back to Shattrath. When I turned in I picked Crate of Meat for my reward on both. Wranngar's Crate of Meat had, 8 pieces of Buzzard Meat, 7 pieces of Warped Flesh and an Unidentified Eye. Not sure what the Unidentified Eye is for but I'll throw it in the pot anyway :). Gomorra's Crate of Meat had, 7 pieces of Clefthoof Meat, 8 pieces of Warped Flesh and a pair of Patchwork Gloves. No new recipes and really not anything good although the meat comes in handy. They each got the 7g59s that this daily pays. I will start picking Barrel of Fish tomorrow and will pick that all week, then the following week I will go back to Crate of Meat.

Daily's 6/8/08

I did all my Shattered Sun daily's on Wranngar today plus Gaining the Advantage and Sunfury Attack Plans. I went to Nagrand to do Gaining the Advantage and killed and skinned Clefthoof. I got some good leather out of it on top of getting the quest done. The daily's in Shattered Sun went pretty quick today too, the items were dropping good and I got them all done in about 40 minutes. I made about 120 gold on them which I sent to the bank with the other gold I made, about 175 gold altogether.
