The daily battleground today was Alterac Valley. I did it on Wranngar and, surprisingly enough, we won the first one I was in. We rushed FWGY, then FW Keep while some stayed back and got IBT and TP. We got all the towers capped then took out Drek. Galv also got taken out along the way so it was a maximum honor game. I might go back in later for a few more if I get bored leveling up Brieanna.

Brieanna 9/5/08
I had some time to play Brieanna tonight and got her to level 21, only 9 more levels until mounted again. I pretty much wrapped up some quests I had in Stormwind, Westfall and Lakeshire then went to Duskwood and did a couple quests there. I was getting some pretty good XP in Duskwood as most of the mobs were 2-3+ levels higher than me. I wanted to get another level before I headed back to Lakeshire to finish up some quests there.

Brieanna 9/3/08
I only got to play for a little while today but I got Brieanna up to level 20. One of the guildies from my guild took me on a run through Deadmines and I got a few really nice pieces out of there. When I got done with Deadmines I was less than a bar from 20 so I did one quick quest in Westfall, that I picked up in Stormwind, and that put me over the top. Only 10 more levels until I can ride again. It is really hard going from riding swift mounts to having to walk everywhere. Anyway I got a nice leather chest piece that dropped off VanCleef, a nice pair of leather pants and a nice polearm. all that should help me going forward. I need to take some more screenshots as I only have a couple so far.

Battlegrounds 9/2/08
Today's daily was Eye of the Storm and I got it done on Wranngar in the first one I was in. I turned that in for 11g99s plus the 419 extra honor that you get from the daily. After that I headed into AV for 1 win and 5 losses, seems the Alliance fell right back into their clueless groove. You would not believe the amount of AFK in all the battles I was in. There is a new twist now that a lot more people are using TuringTest AFK Reporter, you see a lot of people at the end with 1,000 dmg, 1,500 dmg and so on, they just hit something once in awhile so it does not report them AFK. To give you a basic idea, most people have between 50,000 all the way up to 200,000+ dmg when a battle is over. It is really sad that these losers are costing us so many battles... In the one we did win we had a lot of people that were actually playing and we rushed IBGY, got that, then it was no problem to take IBT, TP, Galv then move on to FWGY, FWRH, East and West towers and finally Drek. That was a maximum honor game. We had another battle where we were doing really good then someone decided to take SHGY which cause the Horde to start rezzing at FWRH and that coat us the battle right there.
When will people learn? It is the same stupid mistakes over and over again that cost us so many battles along with all the AFK... Blizzard really needs to get their act together and do something about all the AFK in ALL the battlegrounds, it is really out of control. Once someone is marked AFK they should have 60 seconds to clear it or they are kicked from the battleground with a 24 hour deserter debuff. They get 3 of those in one month they get banned from the battlegrounds for a month, first offense. Second offense they are banned from the battlegrounds for life. What they are doing now, if anything, is definitely not working that is for sure.

Battlegrounds 9/1/08
I decided to head into the battlegrounds to see how the Alliance was doing in there. I picked up the daily, Arathi Basin, and headed in there. The Alliance is still doing pretty poor in there, it took me 3 battles to get my daily done. Between battles 2 and 3 in Arathi Basin I went into Eye of the Storm where it appears we are still doing well despite the fact people can't seem to follow simple directions. The plan was to get MT, DR and either FRR or BET before going for the flag. When the battle started 7 people went directly for the flag, so much for a plan. I headed to FRR, as I usually do unless we have assigned group positions, and we had a pretty good fight there as there were only 3 of us trying to get it from 5 Horde. We had a healer for a change and somehow managed to get it. At that point I noticed we also had BET, DR & MT so that gave us a 4 cap. We trapped the Horde on their rock and it was over pretty qiuck. After that I decided to see how we were doing in Alterac Valley. I went into the first one figuring someone would grab SHGY and it would be all over but that didn't happen, instead people moved forward in a group, with the exception of the AFK in the cave and the ones that run into DB at the start, as we took IBT, TP, Galv and moved up to FWGY. Everyone was working together and it showed what teamwork can do. From FWGY, which was not completely capped and empty when I got there..... we moved into Frostwolf Keep and took the relief hut and towers.
When we downed Drek the Horde didn't have anything capped or capping in DB, they were just starting to get in. That was a Maximum honor game. Of course there are still the people that have no clue how AV works, someone, I assume they were in DB, was yelling hurry up because the Horde were going for Vann but with 2 towers up they could go for him all they want, they weren't going to get him. The second AV battle I was in didn't work out as well although we did win after close to an hour. We won that one on reinforcements and it was close, we won by about 140 reinforcements. That was due to too many people going for Galv at the start. I think a lot more battles would go a lot better if people just left Galv alone but in this case I guess it ended up helping in the end as we won on reinforcements. It seems the quality of players it getting a little better, not really good but good enough to win. On another note I have 100 Arathi Basin Mark of Honor, 100 Alterac Valley Mark of Honor, 100 Eye of the Storm Mark of Honor and 92 Warsong Gulch Mark of Honor. 100 marks are the most you can carry so I am almost maxed out on all the battlegrounds that give them. I also have 70,000 honor and the max on that is 75,000 so I will soon be maxed out on honor too.

Daily Fishing 9/1/08
Today's daily fishing quest had me heading over to the Pools of Aggonar (39,37) in Hellfire Peninsula to catch a Monstrous Felblood Snapper to complete Felblood Fillet. It took me 13 casts to get one and then I headed back to Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest to hand it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. When I opened that up I didn't find anything exciting, I got 6g79s91c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 4 Motes of Water. The Motes will come in handy though. There are still a lot of good rewards to be had from this quest so I will keep plugging away at it.
Brieanna 9/1/08
I was questing on Brieanna in Redridge today. I got her up to level 18 and headed into Stormwind to get my training done. I got a new gun for her, more damage than the last one I had and also got one that she will be able to use at level 28. I am only 12 levels away from a mount now so I should be riding soon. I will finish up what I can in Redridge then head on over to Darkshire to quest there.

Brieanna - 8/27/08
I did some more questing on Brieanna today and got her to 3/4 the way though level 16. I took some time out to do 2 runs through Deadmines on Wranngar for people that needed some help and also helped someone out in Redridge. Today Brieanna learned how to shoot and use a 2 handed sword. Most of my questing was in Westfall with a run to Redridge for a quest and into Stormwind for training when I hit 16. I also went to IronForge to learn how to use guns. Hopefully I will have her to level 18 or higher tomorrow.

Daily Fishing 8/27/08
The daily fishing quest had Wranngar heading over to the waterfall by Tuurem in Terokkar Forest. The quest was Bait Bandits and I was after the elusive Blackfin Darter. It wasn't that elusive today, I got one on my 4th cast. I headed back with that to Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and handed it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. I got 7g37s70c, 3 Elixirs of Water Walking and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife. Nothing exciting today but at least I didn't get another Rusted Lock, that was getting old... I wil keep plugging away at this one because I know some day I will hit it big and get The 2 Ring which I can sell for around 2800g on the AH, plus there are still some nice rewards to be had from this daily.

Brieanna 8/26/08
I worked on my Hunter Brieanna a little today because I couldn't stand thinking about going into the battlegrounds the Alliance has been doing so bad. I made her awhile ago but haven't played it in quite awhile. When I logged in she was at level 10 and by the time I logged off I got her up to level 13. There was a lot of running around involved in the quests I was doing and that took up a lot of time. I originally had her professions as Mining and Engineering but I dropped Engineering today and took up Skinning, she is just going to be a money maker. I got a new pet today to replace the one I had, and it leveled up nice, it is already the same level as me. It is going to take some getting used to playing her, I have never tried a hunter before and it is a little different. I made the run from Darnassus to Ironforge then took the Deeprun Tram to Stormwind tonight and got all the flight paths on the way. Now I can go back and forth easier. I made her some new gear on Wranngar before I logged off and mailed it to her so I will equip her with that tomorrow. Now that the riding level is 30 instead of 40 for the first mount (60%) I should have her mounted pretty soon too. I need to work on my other skills too, cooking is only at 34, first aid is at 210 and fishing is at 24. I did take the time in Darkshore to do the quest The Family and the Fishing Pole and got her the Blump Family Fishing Pole, every little bit helps. It was kind of fun to be questing again and I will be back at it tomorrow. I still need to name my new cat so if anyone has any suggestions let me know.
Daily Fishing 8/26/08
I did the daily fishing on Wranngar. It was Felblood Fillet again and had me heading back over to the Pools of Aggonar (39,37) in Hellfire Peninsula to catch a Monstrous Felblood Snapper. It took me 16 casts today to get one which was better than yesterday. After I had it I headed back to Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and turned it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Inside there I found 7g15s97c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking and, believe it or not, a Rusted Lock for the 4th day in a row. That was the only daily I did today and as you can see there wasn't anything exciting in my reward, better luck tomorrow I hope.

Daily Fishing 8/25/08
The daily fishing quest today, Felblood Fillet, had Wranngar heading out to Hellfire Peninsula to the Pools of Aggonar (39,37) to catch a Monstrous Felblood Snapper. It took me 23 casts but I finally got one. I took it back and handed it in to Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. When I opened that I got 7g41s71c, 6 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Rusted Lock. I don't know what the deal is with the Rusted Locks but I have gotten one in the last 3 bags I got. As you can see there was nothing great today, maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow.
Battlegrounds 8/25/08
Today's battleground was Arathi Basin, I did it on Wranngar. It took me 5 battles to get it done, I had 4 bad groups but the first one was the worst. Me and one other person went to the gold mine while the rest went to the farm, they bypassed the lumber mill and even bypassed the stables, yeah, we didn't even get the stables. The only node we held during that battle was the gold mine after awhile. I have never seen a more dysfunctional group in all the battlegrounds I have fought in. These had to have been the stupidest people I have ever had the misfortune to group with. It was a complete wipe... Nap time was certainly over and all the kiddies were in full swing. There was one loser in that one, Tanukibushi, who thought he was something but his crap blue gear and 7,000 lifetime kills said otherwise. It didn't stop him from shooting his mouth off though. If I was so poorly geared I would keep my mouth shut and hope no one noticed me but he obviously wasn't that smart. The next 3 battles weren't that much better but the 3rd one was close. Finally in the 5th battle we had a decent group and had a 3-4 cap going on most the time. I am not really sure what the problem is, school is back in but I must be playing when all the kids get out or something because the quality of player has really gone downhill. The battlegrounds are getting so bad now, all of them, that I think I am going to take a break for awhile.
