Infused Mushroom Meatloaf - Daily Cooking 1/20/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, for the daily cooking quest, she had Infused Mushroom Meatloaf for Wranngar and Gomorra. All the daily cooking quests are fast and easy, some more so than others. This is a fast, easy one that doesn't take a lot of my mats.

This one had me heading into the Underbelly, the sewers below Dalaran, to pick some Infused Mushrooms, this recipe calls for 4. I got them pretty quick, there didn't seem to be anyone doing it again today. Once I had the 4 Infused Mushrooms I needed I headed back up top and went to the bank to grab a couple pieces of Chilled Meat. I built a fire right there in the bank and cooked my meatloaf. With meatloaf in hand I went to see Orton Bennet, upstairs at Curiosities and Moore. He gave me 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag for each meatloaf.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 5 Northern Spices, 5 Old Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul for Wrann.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices in it. He didn't make out as well.

Knights of the Ebon Blade and Sons of Hodir Daily Quests 1/19/10

I did my daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade and The Sons of Hodir on both Wranngar and Gomorra today. These don't take my long at all and pay pretty well. I am going to need to buy a lot of gems soon as season 8 for arena starts in a week and I will have to re-gear both of them.

I did the Knights of the Ebon Blade first as usual. The ones I do for them are Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire! and Shoot 'Em Up, which I get from the Shadow Vault, and From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and Intelligence Gathering, which I get from Death's Rise. I don't turn in Intelligence Gathering every day, the documents you need have a really poor drop rate so I collect them and turn them in when I get to 5, usually once a week or so. Gomorra did complete that one today so that was an extra 13g23s. All these daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade pay 13g23s each so it does add up. I usually get between 15-20 gold in garbage drops from these too.

After that I did The Sons of Hodir daily's. These take me about 20 minutes each character and pay pretty well. I do Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. Like I said, these go quick and they also pay 13g23s each. I get around 15-20 in garbage drops off these too. By the end of the day it adds up. I also get some good leather and meat doing this daily. Sometimes, if I have a little time and I'm bored, I will farm Mammoth Meat too.

And finally, on the way back I stopped at K3 and did Overstock on Wranngar. Gomorra can't do this one yet, he didn't complete the quest line and I haven't gotten around to doing it on him. This is a quick and easy one that pays 12g96s and literally only takes a few minutes. All you have to do is lay out some land mines and kill 12 mobs that are running by. I put them right in a tight path they run through and get it done in no time. There is no contact so there are no repairs, this one is pure profit.

Daily Fishing - Jewel of the Sewers 1/19/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Jewel Of The Sewers again for Wranngar and Gomorra's daily fishing quest. I am not going to complain about that, this is the only daily fishing quest you don't have to leave Dalaran for, zero travel time.

This one had me heading down into the Underbelly, the sewers below Dalaran, to the Black Market. I went to my spot there and got my piece of Corroded Jewelry in less than 10 casts on each. There was one other person there today fishing in my spot but they weren't in the way. This was the first time I have actually seen someone fishing in my actual spot. I have seen people fishing in other areas of the Black Market before, it's a good, low population spot.

Once I had the Corroded Jewelry I headed back up to see Marcia and trade it in for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g71s85c, 5 Pygmy Oil, 2 Worthless Pieces of White Glass and 3 Deviate Fish. Gom has had better days.

Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g20s63c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking, 2 Deviate Fish, 2 Runic Mana Potion and a Waterlogged Recipe.

I love getting a Waterlogged Recipe, it starts a quest. The quest is to take the recipe to Christi Stockton, the wine vendor at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran. She gives you 13g23s and 5 Dalaran Cooking Awards for it. This one is even quicker and easier than Sealed Vial of Poison. Pays better too. Needless to say, Wrann made out pretty good on this one today.

Brieanna - Level 56 1/19/10

I played Brieanna for awhile tonight and got her to level 56. She has a lot of rested XP as I haven't played her in awhile so the bars go by pretty quick. I was questing in Western Plaguelands on her. I didn't really do much after she leveled, I went to Ironforge and trained, that was about it. She will probably sit for awhile now until I get bored again. She is only 2 levels away from Outlands now.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 1/19/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, for my daily cooking quest, she had Mustard Dogs! for Wranngar and Gomorra again. So much for variety.

This one had me running around picking Wild Mustard in the grassy areas around Dalaran. The first 2 I got on each were from behind A Hero's Welcome so don't forget to check there. I got the other 2 at Krasus' Landing for each of them. Then it was off to the bank to get some Rhino Meat for the Rhino Dogs. I built a fire and cooked them up right inside the bank today. Once I had the Rhino Dogs cooked I combined them with the Wild Mustard in the Empty Picnic Basket to make a Mustard Dog Basket!.

I took that over to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing at exchanged it for 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards each and a Small Spice Bag. He is usually pretty free with the cooking awards.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 2 Northern Spices in it. Nothing to write home about there but with the extra Dalaran Cooking Award it wasn't a bad haul.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 5 Northern Spices, 4 Old Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. He made out really well today.

Knights of the Ebon Blade Daily Quests 1/18/10

Today I did all my Knights of the Ebon Blade on Gomorra, I skipped them on Wranngar and skipped The Sons of Hodir altogether.

The ones I do for the Knights of the Ebon Blade only take me about 20 minutes and pay 13g23s each. There are 6 of them I do, Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire!, Shoot 'Em Up, From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and Intelligence Gathering. I don't always turn in Intelligence Gathering every day as the documents you need have a very poor drop rate but I did turn it in today. That made me 79g38s and another 15-20 gold in garbage drops. These are definitely worth doing for the little amount of time they take. If you follow my blog you know I have time issues, I don't like wasting time.

Daily Fishing - Jewel of the Sewers 1/18/10

Today when I went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, she had Jewel Of The Sewers for Wranngar and Gomorra. This is a nice easy one and the only one you don't have to leave Dalaran to do.

This had me heading down into the sewers to my spot in the Black Market. I had really good luck there today, Gomorra got his piece of Corroded Jewelry on his 3rd cast and Wranngar got his on his 8th. I always have good luck there and usually get the piece of Corroded Jewelry this calls for in under 10 casts. There is never anyone else fishing in my spot so it works out well.

I took the Corroded Jewelry back to Marcia and exchanged it for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. All the daily fishing quests, with the exception of Monsterbelly Appetite, get turned back in to Marcia.

Today Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g7s88c, a Glow Worm and 5 Solid Gold Coins that I sold to a vendor for 1 gold each. Not a great day of fishing for Gom but not too bad.

Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g62s79c, 5 Pygmy Oil, 3 Deviate Fish and 3 Solid Gold Coins which I sold to a vendor for 3 gold. Not a great day for Wrann either. You know what they say though, a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day in WSG.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 1/18/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Mustard Dogs! for Wranngar and Gomorra's daily cooking quest. This is a nice fast one.

This one had me running around Dalaran picking Wild Mustard. You find it in all the grassy areas. I started in the courtyard behind A Hero's Welcome. Gomorra got 2 of his 4 there and Wranngar got all 4 of his there.

Once I had the 4 I needed I headed over to the bank for some Rhino Meat to make the Rhino Dogs this calls for. I needed 4. I got those cooked up and combined them in the supplied Empty Picnic Basket to make a Mustard Dog Basket!. Once I had that made up I took it to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing. He gave each of them 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices and 4 Baby Spice in it. All in all a pretty goood haul for him.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad haul for him either.

Daily Fishing - Monsterbelly Appetite 1/17/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Monsterbelly Appetite for Wranngar and Gomorra again. This one is getting old after only 2 days due to the time wasted traveling.

This one had me taking the flight path to Unu'pe. Once there I flew out to the icebergs you can see off to the southeast and, once again, Gomorra found a school of Monsterbelly as soon as he got there and got his Bloated Monsterbelly in a few casts. Wranngar on the other hand flew around for almost 10 minutes waiting for a school of Monsterbelly to spawn. Finally I said screw it and just started fishing. You can catch a Bloated Monsterbelly just fishing in the water but it takes longer than fishing from a school. Not 10 minutes longer though... He finally got his just fishing. I opened them up and got out the Severed Arm I was after, then hearthed back to Dalaran.

Back in Dalaran I went to see Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange. I traded her the Severed Arm for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Gomorra's had 8g32s41c, a Glow Worm and a Worthless Piece of Violet Glass. Nothing great there.

Wranngar's had 6g67s29c, 3 Pygmy Oil, a Worthless Piece of Violet Glass and 2 Runic Mana Potions. Nothing great here either but the potions will come in handy.

Cheese for Glowergold - Daily Cooking 1/17/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Cheese for Glowergold for Wranngar and Gomorra. This one is not too bad but I find the Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses hard to target.

This had me running around Dalaran looking for Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. I got 4 before I even left A Hero's Welcome today. On Gomorra I got the other 2 at One More Glass, when I went to get the piece of Aged Dalaran Limburger this calls for, and I got Wranngar's other 2 at Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly.

Once I had everything I needed I combined them on the supplied platter to make a Wine and Cheese platter. I took that over to Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange, and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 5 Northern Spices and 4 Baby Spice in it. Not a bad haul for Wrann.

Gomorra's had 4 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it, not a bad haul for Gom today either.

Knights of the Ebon Blade and Sons of Hodir Daily's 1/16/10

Today I did all the Daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade and The Sons of Hodir on both Wranngar and Gomorra. I was really low on gold in the bank, less than 100, so I had to start doing daily's again. I probably could have come up with a couple hundred in a pinch if I hit up all my toons and the guild bank, but that still isn't really enough to buy anything. That is the cost of PvPing all the time and not doing daily's.

I did the Knights of the Ebon Blade first. There are 6 I do for them, they take me about 2 minutes each character. The ones I do for them are Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire!, Shoot 'Em Up, From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and Intelligence Gathering. I don't hand in Intelligence Gathering every day, the documents you need to get have a really poor drop rate so I hang onto them when I get them and turn them in when I have 5, usually once a week. You can waste a lot of time every day looking for them. These pay 13g23s each so it adds up. I did turn in Intelligence Gathering on Wranngar today so that was an extra 13g23s.

After that I was off to Storm Peaks to do the daily's for The Sons of Hodir. There are 5 I do for them and these also take me about 20 minutes per character. The ones I do for them are Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. These pay 13g23s each so that adds up too. These are really easy quests you can do once you have your reputation up with The Sons of Hodir.

I usually get 30-40 gold a day in garbage drops per character which is nice. I loot everything I kill and skin everything I can. The gold I make from the leather adds up too.

I also have another one I do on Wranngar in the Storm Peaks, Overstock. I pick this one up in K3. This is a really simple daily that only takes a few minutes and pays 12g96s. All you have to do is lay out mines and kill some mobs that run through a certain area. There is no contact so there are no repairs, this one is pure profit.

Daily Fishing - Monsterbelly Appetite 1/16/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Monsterbelly Appetite for Wranngar and Gomorra's daily cooking quest. This one is easy but has a little travel time involved. The reason I keep mentioning travel time is it is time wasted in my opinion, you can't do anything while you are flying.

This one had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Un'upe. Once there I flew out to the icebergs you can see to the southeast. I flew around looking for a school of Monsterbelly and found one pretty quick on Gomorra but it took 4 or 5 minutes for one to spawn when I went back later to do it on Wranngar. I fished the school until I caught a Bloated Monsterbelly, this usually only takes a few casts at most. I opened it up and retrieved the Severed Arm I was looking for.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange. This is the only daily fishing quest that does not get handed back in to Marcia. I exchanged the Severed Arm, which she is going to attempt to reunite with the fisherman who lost it, for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 6g43s64c, 5 Pygmy Oil and 2 Crafted Stars in it. Not what I was hoping to get.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 8g7s78c, 3 Elixirs of Water Walking, 2 Worthless Pieces of Red Glass and a Waterlogged Recipe.

I love getting a Waterlogged Recipe, it starts a quest. The quest is to bring it to Christi Stockton, the wine vendor at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran. She gives you 13g23s and 5 Dalaran Cooking Awards for it. Needless to say, Gomorra made out a lot better than Wranngar did today on this one.

Convention at the Legerdemain - Daily Cooking 1/16/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Convention at the Legerdemain for Wranngar and Gomorra. This one has been coming up in the rotation way too often in my opinion. It burns through my mats.

This had me running over to the bank to get 4, yes 4, pieces of Chilled Meat to make the 4 Northern Stew this calls for. Then I was off to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran, to get a Jug of Wine, which I found upstairs today.

Once I had those in hand I went to see Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain, and exchange them for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. The Legerdemain is right across the road from One More Glass so this only takes a second.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 5 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul for Wrann.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad haul for Gom either, but not as good as Wrann.
