Daily Fishing - Dangerously Delicious 3/8/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Dangerously Delicious for Brieanna's daily fishing quest. This one has me going to Wintergrasp, the combat zone, to fish.

I took the flight path to the flight point in Wintergrasp and started fishing right there by where you land. There were a few other people there so I didn't expect any trouble and there was none. It took me less than 5 minutes to catch the 10 Terrorfish I needed. At that point the battle for Wintergrasp started so I joined up with that. Come for the fishing, stay for the fighting I always say. We won that one.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Marcia. I turned the 10 Terrorfish over to her and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g28s46c, 3 Northsea Pearls, 2 Worthless Pieces of Violet Glass, 2 Deviate Fish and a Waterlogged Recipe.

I love getting the Waterlogged Recipe. It starts a really simple quest to take the recipe and give it to Christi Stockton, the wine vendor at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran. She gives you 13g23s and 5 Dalaran Cooking Awards for it. Not a bad deal at all.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 3/8/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Mustard Dogs! for the daily cooking again. Today I did it on Wranngar and Brieanna.

This had me running around the grassy areas of Dalaran picking Wild Mustard. The first place I checked was the courtyard behind A Hero's Welcome, where they both got 2. I got the others around the city on each. Once I had all the Wild Mustard I needed I headed over to the bank for some Rhino Meat to make the Rhino Dogs I needed. I cooked those up right in the bank.

I combined the Rhino Dogs with the Wild Mustard in the Empty Picnic Basket to make a Mustard Dog Basket!. I took that over and delivered it to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing. He's a man who really likes his Mustard Dogs and usually pays pretty well.

Today he gave Wranngar 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices, 3 Old Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it. Not a bad haul for Wrann today.

I went to go buy another recipe for Brieanna with my awards and found that I already have all the Northrend recipes so I guess she is saving for her Chef's Hat now.

Daily Fishing - Jewel of the Sewers 3/7/10

Today when Brieanna went to see what Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had for her she got Jewel Of The Sewers. You don't even have to leave Dalaran for this one, it is right down in the sewers.

This had me heading down to my spot at The Black Market in the Dalaran sewers. I have a spot I always go to and have good luck at. I started fishing and got my piece of Corroded Jewelry in 9 casts. I usually get it in 10 casts or less so that was right on track. I got some other stuff too, it is like a medical waste dump down there, I got some empty vials, a couple drowned rats, the usual.

I took the Corroded Jewelry and headed back up to see Marcia. I turned the piece of Corroded Jewelry over to her and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g16s73c, 4 Pygmy Oil, 2 Solid Gold Coins and 2 Runic Mana Potions. Not the best day of fishing but the rewards from this usually aren't that great, I guess that's what makes the good stuff seem so great when you finally get it.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 3/7/10

Today when Brieanna went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Mustard Dogs! for her.

This is a pretty simple one and the first place I looked for the Wild Mustard I needed was out in the courtyard behind A Hero's Welcome. I got 2 there. Daily Fishing - Monsterbelly Appetite 3/6/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Monsterbelly Appetite for Brieanna. This is a simple one but requires a little travel time.

This had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Unu'pe in the Borean Tudra. Once there I flew out to the icebergs you can see right off shore. I turned on fish finding and flew around until I found a school of Deep Sea Monsterbelly. I fished that until I caught a Bloated Monsterbelly. I cut that open and got the Severed Arm I was after.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange in Dalaran. I gave her the severed arm and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g69s70c, a Siren's Tear, 2 Worthless Pieces of Orange Glass and a Waterlogged Recipe. Waterlogged Recipe starts a quest. The quest is to take it over to Christi Stockton, the wine vendor at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran. She gives you 13g23s and 5 Dalaran Cooking Awards for it. All in all a pretty good day of fishing.

Sewer Stew - Daily Cooking 3/6/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Sewer Stew for Brieanna. This is a pretty easy one and the only one you have to leave Dalaran for, assuming you keep some meat on hand for the daily's which you should.

This had me taking the Violet Gate down to Crystalsong Forest to pick some Crystalsong Carrots. Today it actually took me a few minutes, there were 3 other people there picking at the same time. I finally got the 4 Carrots I needed and took the gate back up to Dalaran. I ran over and hit the bank next, I needed 4 pieces of Chilled Meat for the rest of the ingredients this calls for. I built a fire and cooked my Vegetable Stew right there in the bank.

I took the stew down to Ajay Green at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it. An Ok haul today. Personally I wouldn't eat anything called Sewer Stew at an Inn located in the sewers, but to each his own.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 3/4/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Blood Is Thicker for Brieanna. This is a pretty easy daily but has a little travel time involved.

This had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Unu'pe in the Borean Tundra. Once there I flew inland to kill a Marsh Caribou. That gets me covered in blood which is part of the quest. You can kill any of the animals the Druids protect to get covered in blood for this quest. From there it was back to the shore where I jumped in, creating a blood pool. I fished in the blood pool until I caught the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy this quest calls for. That doesn't take long as you catch them 2 or 3 at a time.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Marcia. I turned the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy over to her and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble. Today it had 8g67s77c, a Glow Worm, a Tower Key, which I sold to a vendor for 16g66s66c, 2 Deviate Fish and 2 Runic Mana Potions in it. A borderline Ok day of fishing.

Infused Mushroom Meatloaf - Daily Cooking 3/4/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Infused Mushroom Meatloaf for Brieanna. This is a nice easy one that doesn't use a lot of my mats.

This had me running down into the sewers to pick Infused Mushrooms, the recipe calls for 4. I got them pretty quick, every spot I went to had one. From there it was back up top to the bank to grab a couple pieces of Chilled Meat, the recipe calls for 2. Once I had all the mats I built a fire right there in the bank and cooked my meatloaf.

I took the meatloaf over and delivered it to Orton Bennet, upstairs at Curiosities and Moore, he is right across the plaza from the bank. He gave me 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 2 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul for Brieanna today.

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Dangerously Delicious for Brieanna's daily cooking quest. This one is pretty easy and has the potential to add quite a bit of excitement to you fishing trip. This one is done in Wintergrasp, the combat zone.

This one had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Wintergrasp. Once there I set to fishing right next to where you land. I used to fish in another area but have just as good luck here and the flight point is right there too so it is more convenient. It didn't take me long to get the 10 Terrorfish I was after, I didn't keep track but I would say less than 25 casts, and I was on my way back to see Marcia.

I turned the 10 Terrorfish over to Marcia and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble. Today it had 6g46s53c, 4 Pygmy Oil and a Velociraptor Skull in it. Hardly worth the effort of flying all the way to Wintergrasp, going into the combat zone, and fishing for 5 minutes, but you take the good with the bad and I have already gotten some good rewards from this daily.

Sewer Stew - Daily Cooking 3/3/10

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 3/2/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Blood Is Thicker for Brieanna. Another easy one with a little travel time involved.

This one had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Unu'pe in the Borean Tundra. Once there I flew inland until I spotted a Marsh Caribou. What you need to do for this quest is kill something the Druids protect, which will get you covered in blood. Just make sure you don't go near the Druids while you are covered in blood, they are tree huggers but not above killing someone covered in blood. Anyway, the first one I killed didn't do the trick, you have to have some good close up contact with it to get covered in blood. The second one did the trick though and I was on my way back to the shore. At the shore I jumped in the water, washing the blood off and making a blood pool. I fished in the blood pool until I caught 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy. Once I had those I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Marcia.

I turned the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy over to her and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble. I keep hoping to get something good and sometimes I do. Today was not one of those days. My Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g34s22c, a Glow Worm, 2 Worthless Pieces of White Glass and 3 Deviate Fish. Certainly nothing to write home about there.

Cheese for Glowergold - Daily Cooking 3/2/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Cheese for Glowergold for Brieanna's daily cooking quest. This is a pretty easy one, personally I find the Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses hard to target but at least it doesn't use any of my mats.

This one had me running around Dalaran looking for Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. You can find them in most the shops, inns, anywhere people may leave them laying around. I got 4 before I even left A Hero's Welcome today. I got the other 2 in One More Glass when I went to get the piece of Aged Dalaran Limburger this one calls for. Once I had all the ingredients I combined them on the platter, supplied when I picked up the quest, to make a wine and cheese platter.

I took the wine and cheese platter and delivered it to Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad return on this one today.

Daily Fishing - The Ghostfish 3/1/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, sent Brieanna to Sholazar Basin to catch the elusive Ghostfish. The daily she gave her was The Ghostfish. This is another easy daily but not so quick, there is quite a bit of travel time involved.

As I said this had me heading to Sholazar Basin. I took the flight path out of Dalaran to Rivers Heart in Sholazar Basin, then flew up to my spot up top and a little northwest of the flight point. Once there I set right to fishing until I caught a Phantom Ghostfish. I ate that right away as it is on a timer that starts clocking as soon as you loot it, you have 60 seconds before it disappears. Eating the Phantom Ghostfish puts you into a state called Invisibility, it is kind of a surreal state, you would have to experience it to understand.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to tell Marcia that I had solved the mystery. She was pretty impressed and gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my troubles. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g2s6c, 3 Elixirs of Water Walking, a Velociraptor Skull, 4 Deviate Fish and 2 Runic Mana Potions. All pretty much junk except the Elixirs of Water Walking and the Runic Mana Potions. I do keep the Deviate Fish and make Savory Deviate Delight out of them too, I get 22-25 gold a stack for them on the auction house.
