Daily Fishing 9/6/08

The daily fishing was Crocolisks in the City, I got it done on Wranngar. I had tried earlier and, after 33 casts, had no luck but when I logged back on I got my Baby Crocolisk on the first cast. I fish for these right in the canal outside the Mage District in Stormwind. It is a pretty easy quest and one that can be done by someone with a lower fishing skill. When I turned it in to Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest for my Bag of Fishing Treasures I got 7g41s60c, 3 Elixirs of Water Walking and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife which I sold to a vendor for 4g28s. I put the Elixir's in the guild vault. Nothing great today but I will keep plugging away for the good stuff.

Daily Fishing 8/22/08

Today's daily fishing was Crocolisks in the City, I did it on Wranngar. I grabbed the quest then headed to my spot by in the canals in Stormwind. It didn't take too long today, I got one on my 7th cast but my hearthstone was used up so I did some battlegrounds out of Stormwind until it was cooled off. Once my heathstone was cool I headed back to Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, and turned my Baby Crocolisk in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. That contained 6g75s62c, 6 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Rusted Lock, certainly nothing exciting today.

Daily's 8/13/08

I only did the one daily again today, the daily fishing. It was Crocolisks in the City and I did it on Wranngar. I took the portal to Stormwind and went to my spot in the canals by the Mage District where you portal in. I got my Baby Crocolisk in 8 casts and headed back to Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, to turn it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. There was nothing exciting in there today, I got 7g11s87c, 6 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Broken Spyglass. After yesterdays reward though I wasn't too disappointed. I will keep plugging away at this one as there are still some good rewards to be had.

Daily's 8/12/08

The only daily I did today was the fishing. It was Crocolisks in the City and I did it on Wranngar. I took the portal from Shatt to Stormwind and went out to the canals. I tried a different spot today near where I usually fish. I got my Baby Crocolisk in 11 casts which was good as the fish I catch there are really low level and not worth keeping. My hearthstone was burned because I used it to go from Darnassus to Shatt so I did a few battlegrounds in Stormwind while I waited for it to cool down. Once it was cool I hearted back to Shatt then flew over to Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, and turned in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Usually the rewards aren't great but once in awhile they throw you something to keep you interested and today was one of those days. My Bag of Fishing Treasures had 6g98s19c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks, a Piece of Polished Driftwood and the reward that made it worthwhile, an Eye of the Sea. That goes for about 350 gold on the auction house if I decided to sell it but I am going to hang onto it for future use. I am still holding out for The 2 Ring but this was a nice reward just the same and reminds me why I keep doing this quest.

Daily's 7/27/08

I hadn't been on for awhile but I did get some time to play today. I did some of my daily's on Wranngar along with some battlegrounds. The daily's I did were the fishing which was Crocolisks in the City, the cooking which was Revenge is Tasty, along with Gaining the Advantage, The Multiphase Survey and the daily battleground which was Arathi Basin.

Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, sent me to Stormwind to catch a Baby Crocolisk. I went to my spot in the canal right outside the Mage Quarter and got one in 22 casts. When I turned that in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures I got 6g72s69c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Piece of Polished Driftwood. Nothing to write home about there.

The cooking quest had me heading over to Skettis to kill a Monstrous Kaliri for it's wing. Believe it or not, even though they were flying, the first 2 I killed didn't have a wing, the third one did. I took that back to Shattrath and cooked it up with some Warp Burgers to get my Kaliri Stew. I turned that in to The Rokk, (61,15) in Shattrath, and picked Barrel of Fish for my reward. I got 6 Spotted Feltail, 4 Zangarian Sporefish and a Hoop Earring along with the 7g59s this quest pays. Nothing too exciting there either.

I did The Multiphase Survey and Gaining the Advantage together while I was in Nagrand. The Multiphase Survey is pretty easy, just fly around and take samples from the fireballs you can only see wearing the special goggles. The I headed over and killed Clefthoof and Talbuk's for Nether Residue. Once I had enough I turned these 2 in and got 9g10s for The Multiphase Survey and 16g39s and a Major Rejuvenation Potion for Gaining the Advantage. After that I did some battlegrounds.

Daily's 7/9/08

I only got to do the daily fishing quest on Wranngar and Gomorra today. I started a new job recently and am still trying to get my routine down so it will be awhile before I am back into the swing of things. I don't have as much time to play anymore during the week, I didn't even have a chance to log on at all yesterday :(. The daily fishing today was Crocolisks in the City. I picked up the quest from Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and headed back to Shattrath to take the portal to Stormwind. When I got to Stormwind I headed to my spot on the bridge in the canals right outside the Mage District. I got my Baby Crocolisk in 9 casts on Wranngar and 4 casts on Gomorra. This is another one of those quests that seems like you get it in a few casts or it takes a lot. I hearthed back to Shattrath and flew back over to Old Man Barlo to turn them in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Wranngar's had 6g67s90c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Broken Spyglass which I sold to a vendor for 2 gold. Gomorra got 7g48s10c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife which I sold to a vendor for 4 gold. Nothing really good or profitable there today but there are still some good rewards to be had from this quest so I will keep on doing it. Some day I will hit the jackpot and get The 2 Ring :).
