Alterac Valley - Again

A while ago I swore off battlegrounds because QQ Premades were screwing up the queues so bad you couldn't get an evenly matched BG. Most the Alterac Valley's I was in would start off with 10 Alliance against 40 Horde. Out of the 10 Alliance 6 would be AFK so you were basically starting off outnumbered 10 to 1. The reason for that is QQ Premades loading up the battleground queues then not accepting when the queue popped. I started doing dungeons after that and liked those. It has been about a year since I was in a battleground and I didn't think I was missing it at all.

Last night I went into Alterac Valley (40x40) on Brieanna just to see how the battlegrounds were now (I was bored). It wasn't too bad actually, I had a great time and did another one after that. In my first battleground in a year I came in 4th in damage and 5th in killing blows, I guess I didn't forget too much in the year I was away.

I am going to do a few more to get the honor I need to upgrade one of my rings, my last piece of 333 gear. Once I have that I probably won't bother with any more BG's, but it was nice to get in there again for a little while.

Wranngar - 75,000 Lifetime Kills

I passed the 75,000 lifetime kills mark on Wranngar tonight, that puts me over three quarters of the way to the achievement 100000 Honorable Kills and my title, "of the Alliance". I have been doing between 10 and 30 battlegrounds a day lately. That is giving me between 700 and 1,500 kills a day. I will have my title this year I'm sure. That is the last achievement you get for quantity of kills. After that I will work on getting all the rest of the PvP and battleground achievements done.

The Battle for Alterac Valley 11/24/09

I fought in 26 battles tonight in Alterac Valley on Wranngar. We had 16 wins and 10 losses. The Alliance was doing Ok in there tonight for the most part. Alterac Valley was also my daily battleground today.

We had one battle we won on reinforcements, we were just slaughtering the Horde. We drove them back from SHGY all the way to the Frostwolf Relief Hut then we took that away from them too, they were rezzing in their cave :). That was a great battle, I ended up getting 276 honorable kills out of that one. I got a lot of honor tonight too. We did a few Blitz's and a few almost Blitz's where we won fast but didn't do it in under 6 minutes. The Horde did a few Blitz's as well. Lately they seem to be trying to Blitz a lot. Over 3/4 of the battles I was in I would say they tried the Blitz. They were not successful on all of them, obviously, but we did have some pretty short battles we lost.

In one of the battles I was in we had an alleged Warrior 'Tank' tanking Drek. They said I was taunting Drek off of them. What I used was Demoralizing Roar which reduces his armor but no real threat. It gives the lightning bolt over his head when I do it and they thought I was taunting him off them. The problem was they were just a crap tank that couldn't hold him. He kept getting away from them and killing the healers. If Demoralizing Roar can pull a mob off you when you're tanking you should just stick to defending towers or DPS and leave the tanking to someone who can hold him. And if I was pulling him off he would have been on me, not the healers. Just some sorry excuse for a player trying to blame someone else for their incompetence.

The Battle for Wintergrasp 11/24/09

I fought in 3 Wintergrasp battles tonight on Wranngar, 2 wins and 1 loss.

In one of the wins we were defending and in the loss we were also defending. In the last battle I fought in the Horde were defending the keep and we won that one. The secret when the Horde are defending the keep seems to be to get their southern towers down as fast as possible. Once you have those 3 towers down it is pretty much wrapped up from what I can see. All that's left after that is clean up. Of course the Horde are trying to destroy the southern towers when we are defending the keep so we have to defend those as best we can as well.

The Battle for Alterac Valley 11/23/09

The battle for Alterac Valley wasn't going well at all tonight. I fought in 15 battles on Wranngar, 5 wins and 10 losses, Ouch!

The Alliance just couldn't seem to get it together tonight. We had the usual problems, AFK, not working together as a team, people taking SHGY early in the game and, the usual, not having enough people in a tower to hold it when the Horde came to back-cap it.

I have changed my opinion on SHGY. Sometimes it seems to work when it gets capped by the Alliance. The times that seem to work out Ok are when we have all our towers capped or when we have IBT and TP capped and the Frostwolf towers almost capped. You still run the risk of all the Horde rezzing in their cave and piling into Frostwolf Keep but if you have a lot of people there it is not too bad, gets you a lot of kills :). It seems to be a good idea too when we are winning on reinforcements. When we have SHGY it seems like everyone wants to stay there and defend it, that's why taking it early in the battle hardly ever works out. But if we have our towers capped and the Horde ran us out of Frostwolf Keep then it helps us keep them from capping IWB and SHB. It also keeps everyone close to Dun Baldar so we can get our bunkers back. It is a risky situation and you have to play it by ear.

Unfortunately we did have a few times where it was held right from the start of the battle and cost us the win. No one ever stays to guard Iceblood Graveyard or Snowfall Graveyard and sometimes that is Ok as long as we're not holding SHGY. If we are not holding SHGY the Horde don't seem too interested in those GY's. People will guard Frostwolf Graveyard but usually half heartedly. As long as not too many Horde show up we can keep it. FWGY can be an important one to keep as it keeps the Horde from rezzing and running right back into FW Keep if they decide to defend the Keep.

Anyway I did get some good honor tonight and a lot of kills, I think I ended up with over 1,400 kills for the night. I am on track to get my 100,000 lifetime kills and my "of the Alliance" title this year.

The Battle for the Isle of Conquest 11/23/09

I decided to spend some time fighting in the Isle of Conquest tonight to get more familiar with it. I haven't done a lot of battles in there yet, I have previously only fought in there when it was my daily, and want to learn more about it. I went in on Wranngar and we won the first 2 battles I was in and lost the last one. As in any battleground there were a lot of AFK in there. That problem just isn't going to go away or get any better I guess.

We won the 2 battles by breaching the Horde keep and killing the Horde General. I don't even know his name off hand but I will get that along with some screen shots of him. I was in on both of those kills. In the battle we lost the Horde breached our keep and killed our General. I was manning one of the cannons at the top of one of the towers in our keep for awhile tonight, that was a lot of fun. You use the cannons to lay down a wall of fire and also launch rockets at the siege equipment the Horde are bringing in to breach our keep.

Strand of the Ancients 6/30/09

My daily battleground was Strand of the Ancients today. I did it on Wranngar.

We easily won the first battle I was in, we pwn'd the Horde. We got to the relic in 2 minutes 40 seconds which means the Horde had 2 minutes 40 seconds to get to it. They managed to just break their second gate when the time was up. The Alliance seemed to be in fine shape today, at least in that battleground.

I turned this in when I got out and got my 13g23s and 1241 bonus honor. I forgot to check and see how much honor I have now, but as I just got something with my honor I doubt I have much. This is one of the better daily's. Yesterday's daily battleground was Warsong Gulch and I skipped it, I hate WSG.

Daily Battleground 6/18/09

My daily battleground today was Strand of the Ancients again, we won the first one I was in. It was the quickest easiest SoA I have ever been in. We just got off the boat, broke through the gates and got to the relic. It took about 90 seconds. I guess whatever time we do it in is the time the Horde have to do it in. They only got through one gate before it was over.

I fought in one Wintergrasp, a win. We were offense and the Horde were defending Wintergrasp. We won that one in about 11 minutes. I think I got 26 kills out of that one. I am starting to get the hang of WG now. It is a little different as you can either be defending or attacking depending on who is in possession of WG when you go in. I am building up my marks for a headpiece I want to get.

I fought in one Arathi Basin, a loss. No surprise there, the Alliance has really been sucking in AB lately. We lost to a 5 cap. I don't know if people are too stupid to work together or if they are just trying for the achievements but whatever the problem is it's not working. It was the same old crap, people riding up to nodes, starting them capping, then riding out. We used to do pretty well in AB now I think we are lucky to win one in ten.

We were doing ok today in Eye of the Storm, we had 3 wins and 2 losses. Not great but ok. We had a 4 cap in one of our wins, it was The Perfect Storm. I already had it but a bunch of other people got the achievement. You get The Perfect Storm when you win 2000/0, meaning the horde didn't cap anything. There were a few AFK and a couple bots in the battles I was in. This is because season 6 came out and they are trying to bot/AFK themselves into season 5 gear. People who bot or AFK make me sick, they are losers who are taking a spot from someone who could be fighting.

Assorted Battlegrounds 6/17/09

Today was some of the worst PvP play I have seen in a long time by the Alliance. We couldn't win anything, it was sad. I fought in 4 Strand of the Ancients, 1 wins, 2 losses and one draw. It was my daily today. I always wondered what happened if no one was able to get at the relic, now I know, it is a draw.

I fought in 2 Eye of the Storm, both losses. We usually dominate EoS, that's what made it that much sadder. You could tell in 2 battles that the quality of players was such that we were not going to win in there soon. No one was defending anything, everyone was going for the flag, everyone that wasn't AFK that is. Blizzard has been working on the AFK problem in the battlegrounds for a couple years now, hopefully they will have a soultion soon.....

Surprisingly enough we won the 2 Arathi Basin battles I was in. They were both close but we pulled it off. For the most part people were guarding nodes and then going in a group, not one or two, to try for another node. I guess all the compentent players were fighting in AB today. I usually head to the Gold Mine and help cap then defend that when I am in AB. If we lose that then I usually go on offense and help capture another node. There was only one AFK in one of the battles I was in and none in the other.

I fought in one Wintergrasp which we won. That actually went pretty well. We won it in just a little over 11 minutes, we were defending. I got a couple achievements in there today, I have not done a lot of fighting in there yet. I couldn't get the quests today for some reason so I didn't get all the honor I had been getting.

Lastly I fought in one Alterac Valley. We lost that one too. The main reason behind that loss was people decided to hold SHGY. Holding SHGY keeps all the Horde in front of us the whole time, making it impossible to advance. You try to tell people this and they either can't read or don't care. They certainly don't learn from their mistakes because the same people will be in there the next battle fighting to hold SHGY. We lose a lot of AV's when the Alliance holds SHGY. Holding SHGY is pretty much a guaranteed loss.

On the plus side I broke 60,000 lifetime kills on Wrann today. I have less than 40,000 to go to hit 100,000 and get my 'of the Alliance' title.

Daily's & Wyrmrest Accord 3/11/09

I did the daily cooking on Wranngar as soon as I logged on tonight. It was Convention at the Legerdemain and the jug of wine dropped pretty fast for me today. You have to keep going upstairs and downstairs looking for a blue sparkling jug, that is the jug of wine. I ran over to the bank and got 4 Chilled Meat so I could make 4 Northern Stew to go with the wine. When I had everything I needed I delivered it in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. Today all my Small Spice Bag had in it was 2 Northern Spices :(. I took the award I got and got 10 more Northern Spices bringing my total to 247. I did a bunch of cooking today to stock up the guild bank a little. I want to have 2 stacks of each Northrend food in there with the exception of the BoP food of course.

I did my daily's for The Sons of Hodir. These don't take long and in 2 days I will be honored with them and will pick up 3 more daily's. They have some nice stuff you can buy when you are honored and exalted. A few of the items I want to get are: Greater Inscription of the Axe, Pattern: Mammoth Mining Bag, Reins of the Ice Mammoth and Reins of the Grand Ice Mammoth to name a few. I will be honored in 2 days as I said and I will be able to get some things form them then. I do my daily at K3 on my way over to do these. That one is Overstock. This is a pretty easy quest that takes no time at all and gets you around 13 gold.

I did my Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's next. I didn't complete Intelligence Gathering but I still have it. I now have about 10 keys and when there is a chest next to a mob I kill I will open it. If there are documents in it good, if not oh well. I figure this way I can complete this quest every 3 days or so without wasting any extra time. I am doing 5 quests every day and Intelligence Gathering whenever it completes.

I helped Salintu with one of her Elite quests in Sholazar Basin tonight. I don't remember the name of it but she had to fight a Dragon while mounted on a Mammoth. I remembered doing it when I was in there and it completes the Nesingwary quests in North Rend. We didn't have any problem completing it.

The Alliance were sucking worse than usual in Arathi Basin tonight, which was the daily battleground today unfortunately. I fought in 2 battles in between daily's and we lost both of them. It was pretty sad. I got in one at the start and we had a good chance but no one wanted to defend so we lost our nodes and the Horde ended up winning that one. In the next one I got in towards the end. The Horde had a 5 cap going and all the Alliance, and Horde, we at the Stables. They should have been out attacking everything else, but they were all at the Stables. They deserved to lose. I was going to try again later but never got around to it.

Sons of Hodir Daily's 3/10/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and got the daily cooking out of the way. It was Sewer Stew again.... I flew down to Crystalsong Forest to pick some Crystalsong Carrots. There was someone else there picking them too but it still didn't take me long. Once I had 4 I flew back up to Dalaran and got 4 pieces of Chilled Meat to throw in with them and cooked up my stew. I delivered that and got 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag which had 3 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not too bad of a haul today. I got 20 more Northern Spices with the awards I got and now I have 235. I am a stockpiler, I will just keep stockpiling them until I decide I have enough, however much that turns out to be.

I did my daily at K3 in the Storm Peaks which is Overstock. That one only takes me a couple minutes from the time I pick up up until I turn it back in again and it gets me around 13 gold. From there I went over and did my 3 daily's for The Sons of Hodir. The 3 I am doing are pretty quick and easy and they pay 13g23s each. The 3 I am doing are: Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold and Polishing the Helm. These are the only 3 I can get right now, but there are 3 more I can get once I am honored. They are: Feeding Arngrim, Thrusting Hodir's Spear and Spy Hunter. It will take me about 3 more days to get to honored then I can add them to my list of daily's. Update: I have an updated post that explains how to go from hated to friendly and unlock the Sons of Hodir daily's. You can find it here Unlocking The Sons of Hodir Daily's.

I did my daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade as usual with the exception that I dropped Intelligence Gathering. I am not going to waste any more time on that one. I was done with the other 2 quests today, had checked a few quests, had 0 documents and 4 keys. You have to open at least 15 chests to get 5 documents and that meant 11 more keys which is at least 11 more kills but more like 15-20, then find the chests and hope for the best. I finally just decided enough was enough. I did do the other 5 though, From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone, Leave Our Mark, Shoot 'Em Up and Vile Like Fire!. These go pretty quick and after dropping Intelligence Gathering I got all the above mentioned quests done in about an hour which was good because I didn't have much time tonight.

Wranngar - Daily's 3/9/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and did the daily cooking quest which was Sewer Stew. I headed down to Crystalsong Forest and picked 4 Crystalsong Carrots. The picking went really fast today, there was no one there and I got my 4 in a couple minutes, it was just a matter of running around and picking them. I flew back up to Dalaran and grabbed 4 Chilled Meat to cook them up with. For those who don't know what Dalaran is, it used to be next to the Alterac Mountains in the Eastern Kingdom. I am not sure of all the lore but there was something to do with Wizards and Mages and, long story short, they uprooted and moved their city to Northrend where it hangs suspended over Crystalsong Forest. Back to the cooking, once I had my Sewer Stew cooked up I delivered it in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag that had 3 Northern Spices but not a second Dalaran Cooking Award in it. I took the award I had and got 10 more Northern Spices which I put in the guild bank. I now have 212 and it is time to start cooking. I was looking through my recipes today, there are so many that do the same thing but use different mats. I am trying to find the ones that are easiest to do (mats farming) but will cover all the different types of buff food I can make. I didn't do any fishing today, just wasn't in the mood, that is one of those things you need to be in the mood for or forget it.

Today's daily battleground was Strand of the Ancients. We won the first one I was in so I was able to complete my daily. We won pretty fast and easy, it took us 2 minutes 45 seconds to capture the Titan Portal and then the Horde ran the clock out on their attempt and only got through 2 gates. We seem to do pretty well in SoA, we usually win in the battles I have been in. It is one of those battlegrounds where you can attack more than one objective at a time to get your goal and either one will work (The gates in this instance). The Horde only really seems to operate well when they can get 3 or 4 on one action going, if they get spread out too thin they can't do that and I think that is what is happening in SoA. When I got out I turned in the daily and got 13g23s and 1241 bonus honor.

I did my daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade today, they are: From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone, Intelligence Gathering, Leave Our Mark, Shoot 'Em Up and Vile Like Fire!. The only one that really takes me any time is Intelligence Gathering. Once again today I was there well after the other 2 quests were done, getting keys and opening chests. There is a very poor drop rate on the documents in the chests. These 6 quests get you around 80 gold. After that I did Overstock in the Storm Peaks. This is a fast easy quest that pays around 13 gold. I highly recommend it. I did my daily's for The Sons of Hodir. The daily's I do for them are: Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold and Polishing the Helm. As I was looking these up to get links I found 3 more that I am not doing, I will start doing those tomorrow. They are: Feeding Arngrim, Thrusting Hodir's Spear and Spy Hunter. Not sure how I missed these, must pick them up somewhere else, anyway I will look into it tomorrow. These quests pay 13g23s each like the Ebon Blade so I can make some good gold doing these every day.

I took the portal from Dalaran to Shattrath so I could go see if Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest had anything for me today. He did, he had Felblood Fillet which had me heading over to Pools of Aggonar (39,37) in Hellfire Peninsula to try and catch a Monstrous Felblood Snapper. This is the only daily fishing quest where I will click on the bobber when it bobs and get a empty loot window. None of the other daily fishing quests do that when I am fishing. I haven't tried the only other place you can do this one yet, Shadowmoon Valley (40,59), to see if it happens there too. It never happens when I am just fishing either, if I don't get anything it either tells me no fish were hooked or it got away. Anyway I had 4 of those today trying to get this one done. It took me 15 casts altogether to get my Monstrous Felblood Snapper, including the empty loot windows, but I finally got it done. I turned it back in to Old Man Barlo for a Bag of Fishing Treasures which today contained, 7g4s76c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife that I sold to a vendor for 4g28s. I haven't gotten anything good from this daily lately so I am due, there are still a few good rewards to be had from this daily.

Fishing & Stuff 03/07/09

I did some fishing tonight on Wranngar. I did the daily fishing quest I picked up from Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, which was Crocolisks in the City. I went back to Shattrath and took the portal to Stormwind then ran over to the canals to fish. I got my Baby Crocolisk on the 12th cast, didn't take too long today. I flew over to Nethergarde Keep then rode over to the portal and flew back to Terokkar Forest and handed it in. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g23s1c, 6 Sharpened Fish Hooks, which was kind of nice as I was running low, and a Broken Spyglass which I sold to a vendor for 2 gold. I did a bunch of fishing in the Underbelly in Dalaran tonight too. I got a lot of fish and some vials and old gnawed fish bones but not a Giant Sewer Rat in the bunch. I did drink a Underbelly Elixir, which was a half full bottle I found down there in the sewers, and it turned me into a wasp. I will keep plugging away at this achievement until I finally get my Giant Sewer Rat. I usually fish down there when I take a break from the battlegrounds.

Today's daily battleground was Strand of the Ancients. We won the second one I was in. In the first one we didn't have a very good group or weren't coordinating or something because it didn't go well at all. In the second battle we did a lot better, we got the Titan Portal within a couple minutes and then held the Horde off from even getting to the gates of the keep when it was there turn on offense. That battle went a lot better to say the least. I fought in one Eye of the Storm after that which we lost. We started off 6 to 15 and when it ended in our loss it was 10 to 15 so we never even stood a chance. Well, I guess the Horde have to win once in awhile and take what they can get.

I did my daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade, They are: From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone, Intelligence Gathering, Leave Our Mark, Shoot 'Em Up and Vile Like Fire!. These are pretty easy and even Shoot 'Em Up and Intelligence Gathering went quick today. I don't use the Skeletal Gryphon they give you to do No Fly Zone, it is quicker and easier to just fly over there in Swift Flight Form and lure then down to a surface where I can switch to cat form and kill them. I did my daily in the Storm Peaks which is Overstock. This one only takes me a couple minutes and pays around 13 gold, I would recommend this as a daily for anyone who wants a little fast easy gold.

The daily cooking quest today was Convention at the Legerdemain. This one is pretty easy, I headed over to the guild bank and got 4 pieces of Chilled Meat which I cooked into 4 Northern Stew. Once I had my stew I headed over to the wine and cheese shop for a Jug of Wine. It took me a couple minutes of running upstairs and downstairs and even outside because I saw it spawn outside by the sample giver. I finally found one behind the counter where you come in. I delivered that to the Legerdemain in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. Today my Small Spice Bag only had 4 Northern Spices in it. Normally I would call that a good day but I was expecting another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Today is the first day since I got my Chef title that I have not received 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards :(. I took my Dalaran cooking award and got 10 Northern Spices which I put in the guild bank giving me a total of 187. Hopefully tomorrow I will get 2 again and that will put me over 200.

Wranngar 2/28/09

I was playing Wranngar tonight and got a nice surprise, I heard from someone who reads my blog. Their name was Mythrara and I only got to talk to them for a minute but it was really nice to hear from someone in the game that has read my blog. They are the first person to ever contact me. Hopefully I will hear more from them. They wanted to know where Gomorra was :). I was on Wranngar helping Salintu do Kibler's Exotic Pets to get a Worg Pup. We went into Blackrock Spire to get it and we had no problem. It is a level 58-60 instance and I was rounding up groups in cat form and we were just downing them. We killed a few bosses, got a few blues and a good time was had by all :).

I did the daily cooking today which was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf. I got my 4 Infused Mushrooms pretty quick and cooked them up with a couple Chilled Meat to get my meatloaf. I delivered that and got 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. My Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices and 3 Old Spices in it today, not a bad haul. I spent my Dalaran Cooking Award on 10 more Northern Spices. That is all I have left to spend them on, I have all the recipes and that is the only other thing you can spend them on. The Northern Spices will start piling up fast now at, at least, 10 a day.

I did my daily quests for The Kalu'ak today, they are: Preparing for the Worst, Planning for the Future and The Way to His Heart.... Tomorrow I will become exalted with them and will be able to finally buy the Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole. And of course the Nurtured Penguin Egg. I only need about 700 more rep with them to become exalted. I did my Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's tonight too. I really didn't want to but I need the gold after Gomorra spent all that gold on his mounts in Dalaran. The daily's I do for them are: From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone, Intelligence Gathering, Leave Our Mark, Shoot 'Em Up and Vile Like Fire! These don't take too long although a couple of them can be aggravating. I get around 80 gold from these 6. I also did Overstock in The Stormpeaks, a quick and easy quest that only takes a couple minutes and pays around 13 gold.

The daily battleground today was Strand of the Ancients. We won the first one I was in by a landslide. We got the relic or totem or whatever it is we are after with over 5 minutes left on the clock. When it came the Hordes turn to attack they only got through one gate before their time ran out. I turned that daily in for 13g23s and 1241 honor. I fought in 2 Eye of the Storm after that, one win and one loss. The first one I was in looked like a loss. We were behind for most of it and couldn't seem to get a third tower. We couldn't run the flag. It was looking like a definite loss when all of a sudden we started running the flag, got a third tower and ended up winning by less than 200 points. In the second battle we had someone who was preaching that "a 5 cap would get it over quickly" and "the Allaince never wins in EoS". First off there are not 5 objectives to cap in EoS and second the Alliance wins in there all the time, at least during the hours I play. Anyway we lost that one.

Daily's 2/15/09

I did my daily cooking in Dalaran on Wranngar today which was Convention at the Legerdemain. This is a pretty easy one if the Jug of Wine spawns fast enough for you. Today it did for me, I went into the wine shop and there it was, only took a second. I cooked up some Northern Stew and delivered it. In exchange for doing that I got 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag which had 3 Northern Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it. Not a bad haul today for this daily.

I worked on my Reputation with the Kalu'ak. They have a fishing pole I want and you have to be exalted with them to get it. The pole is Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole. It adds +30 to your fishing skill and is a epic piece. It is pretty cool looking too. I did all the quests they have then did the 3 daily's they offer and now I am revered with them. It will take about about 12-13 days to get exalted with them from here.

I fought in some battlegrounds today. The daily battleground was Strand of the Ancients and we won the first, and only, one I fought in. I turned that in and got my honor and gold. I fought in two Arathi Basin too to try and get my marks to 100 as I had 97. We lost the first one and one the second one which gave me 98 marks on me and 3 in the mail I can not take..... Nice Blizzard. I guess I will have to lose 2 more to finish that out. Losing is what the Alliance seems to be good at in AB lately though so it shouldn't be hard. I fought in 7 Eye of the Storm tonight and we won 5 and lost 2. The 2 battles we lost were just really bad groups on the Alliance side. In the 5 wins we had a couple where we only had 2 towers and ran the flag a lot and a couple 3 and 4 caps. Overall we are still doing good in EoS. I fought in one Wintergrasp battle tonight too. We lost that one but I did get a couple of the daily's done so I now have 7 Stone Keeper's Shard. You can use these for valuable prizes :). I am still not really sure what is going on in there but I am starting to get a better understanding of it.
