Wranngar 12/14/08

I played Wranngar for a few hours today and got him to level 74. The whole level to 75 is rested so it shouldn't take too long to get there. I did some Feast of Winter Veil quests today on him after I leveled. I went and got my training done then when I went to Stormwind to catch the boat back to North Rend I saw the Christmas Revelers out so I knew it had started. I hung out in Ironforge for awhile in my snowman disguise. After I got them done I went back to Grizzly Hills and did some more questing. Manual: Heavy Frostweave Bandage dropped for me today while I was questing, I was pretty happy about that. It is a BoP drop and I thought it would take forever to get it. Now I can level my first aid to 450. I got 3 bars of XP after I leveled and I hope to be 75 by Tuesday.

Wrangar 12/14/08

I only did the Feast of Winter Veil quests on Wrangar today, the rest of the time I was busy leveling Wranngar. I have almost the whole level of 66 rested on Wrangar so I should be able to blow through that when I start questing on him again.

Feast of Winter Veil 12/14/08

Well the Feast of Winter Veil has started again. What does this mean besides more lag in all the major cities? They put up decorations, have special seasonal quests, and you get special seasonal items. I made out pretty good last year, I got some of the seasonal pets. I did a couple of the quests on Wranngar and Wrangar. I tried to do that one in Alterac Mountains but there were just so many people there I gave up. I will wait a week or so until it dies down then do that one.

Wranngar 12/13/08

I played Wranngar for a few hours tonight and got about 7 bars XP. I am questing in Grizzly Hills but the quests seem pretty thin. I don't even see a lot that are out of level for me. I think I will be able to get to level 74 tomorrow if I put my mind to it. I want to get to 76 and get back into AV for a few battles. I really miss the battlegrounds but it is useless for me to go in there now, I would just get owned. The quests in Grizzly Hills are interesting and pretty easy. They give good XP and the rewards aren't too bad. Some of the gear is ok, lots of attack power, good stamina, strength and agility. I have been keeping some of the rewards and when I get a full set I will try it on and see what it does for me. I don't really think it will be better than my current gear but we will see. I also explored Howling Fjord today too. I tried to open the map and it looks open but I must have missed discovering something because I didn't get the achievement. I got it in Grizzly Hills and Dragonblight. Howling Fjord is lower level than Grizzly Hills so I won't be questing there, I was only Getting about 3/4 the XP there that I am getting in Grizzly Hills.

Wrangar 12/13/08

I leveled up my Herbalism some tonight on Wrangar. I got it up to 112. That's about all I got done on him tonight. I will go back to questing tomorrow and try to get to level 66. I have about 3/4 of level 66 rested.

Wranngar 12/11/08

I played Wranngar for about a half an hour and got a couple bars. I only had one quest left in Dragonblight when I noticed the guy near the flight master in Winterguard Keep had a quest. I accepted that and the next thing I knew I was on a Gryphon to Grizzly Hills. When I got there I found a bunch of quests and picked them all up. I did 2 of them and that, along with the killing, is how I got the 2 bars. I guess I will be questing in Grizzly Hills now. The 2 quests I did were pretty easy so I hope to level fast there. I like it a lot better there than I did in Dragonblight. I will get on a little earlier tomorrow and see how many bars I can get.

Wrangar 12/11/08

I worked on Wrangar's Herbalism tonight and got it from 10 to 81. It is definitely not as fast as leveling skinning. I was getting herb's from Elwynn Forest, Redridge and Duskwood. It is going to be a long process I think. I was tired too and didn't realize I had hit 75 and needed to train to level any more. I wasted a few points before I realized it. I got my training done and got a few more herb's then went on Wranngar for a little while. I will work on Wrangar's Herbalism some more tomorrow.

Wranngar 12/09/08

I played Wranngar for a while tonight and got him to level 73. I was questing in Dragonblight today and got a lot of quests cleared out of my log. Arkantose, one of the guildies, helped me out on a couple of the group ones so I got them done too. I wouldn't have done them for a couple more levels, if at all, but with his help they were pretty easy. I definitely could not have solo'd them and I don't really like grouping. It was good to get them out of the way and I got some good XP from them too. All of level 74 is rested on Wranngar so I will be playing him more during the week while I let Wrangar rest up a bit. I need to work on his leather working a little and start getting that leveled up too. After I leveled I went and got my training done, used my talent point and headed back to North Rend. I have one more quest in the Borlean Tundra to get done then I should be done there. I think I will be heading into Grizzly Hills next to quest.

Wrangar 12/09/08

I played my Deathknight Wrangar for awhile today and got him to level 65. I made a Death Gate and went to Ebon Hold to get my training done. He is making pretty good progress. I am questing in Nagrand and seem to be able to get quite a few quests so I am going with it. When I get to 66 I will see if I can start in Blades edge. Keeping all the quests yellow and orange gives me a lot of XP and they are still usually soloable. I would rather quest alone than in a group, less squabbling and you never have to wait for anyone. I think I will work on my Herbalism and maybe fishing tomorrow. Cooking too. That way I won't use up any of my rested XP and can build it up. My skinning is still at 425 because I didn't really have any quests that called for killing anything I could skin. I skinned anything that someone left and looted and a couple things that attacked me but I didn't get a level out of it.

Wranngar 12/08/08

I played Wranngar some tonight and got quite a few bars but not to level 73 yet. I think I can get him there tomorrow though. I was questing in Dragonblight tonight and got a lot of quests done. It is all pretty easy stuff and I did one quest chain that had to be 12 parts long. I turned some Knothide Leather Scraps into Knothide Leather and then turned that into Heavy Knothide Leather for Wrangar tonight, he is starting to get a good stockpile of leather on him, time to hit the auction house. I made quite a bit of gold today questing also, around 60. That's not too bad for questing I think. The quests are starting to pay more and I have been selling all the quest rewards so I always pick the plate as it usually sells for the most. I am having no problem at all killing the mobs I need to kill, they go down pretty quick and easy. I will be able to get on earlier tomorrow depending on whether Blizzard does a shut down or just rolling restarts.

Wrangar 12/08/08

I played Wrangar for a bit tonight. I got a few bars on him but stopped when I ran out of rested XP. I was questing in Nagrand tonight. I got my skinning to 425 and got a lot of leather. I don't know how high I will be able to get my skinning in the Outlands, I think I can get it to 450 there, it is just going to take a lot of skinning. The levels in skill are few and far between now because of the level of the mobs I am skinning. I am having no problem playing a Deathknight and I like it. I wasn't sure I would because I had a Warrior once, my first character actually, and I didn't really like it at all. I went to North Rend to see if I could learn any more bandages for my first aid and there was nothing. I looked it up and the manual for the next bandages is a BoP drop off a mob :(. I guess it is going to take me a while to get that as it drops off mobs in North Rend. I think I will get Wrangar to 65 tomorrow though, then I might try for a Worg Pup. I have the quest, I just have to go in and get one. This is a picture of a Death Gate, it is what Deathknights use to transport back to Ebon Hold.

Wranngar 12/07/08

I played Wranngar for a while tonight and got a few bars of XP. I was questing in Dragonblight in North Rend. The questing is pretty easy if a little time consuming, they have you running all over the place and everything is far apart. I got some of my skills leveled up a little bit today, I got my cooking to 399 and my Leatherworking up to 380. I got a few more Leatherworking patterns too. I took a bunch of the meat I was storing in the guild bank and cooked it up for the guild to use. We were really running low on food. I cooked up a bunch of food for Wrangar too from meat he sent me. I am taking all the Knothide Leather Scraps he is sending me and turning them into Knothide Leather. I will then turn that into Heavy Knothide Leather. I also made Wrangar a Bag of Many Hides, it is a 24 slot Leatherworking bag. His bags were filling up too fast from all the leather he was skinning and now when he skins something it automatically goes right into that bag. I still have a lot of rested XP on Wranngar and will play him some more tomorrow.

Wrangar 12/07/08

I played Wrangar for awhile today and got him to level 64. I got his skinning up to 416. I am questing in Nagrand now, doing the Nesingwary Mastery quests. A lot of the mobs are level 66 or higher but I am having no problem with them and I am getting a lot of Thick Clefthoof Leather along with all the Knothide Leather Scraps and Knothide Leather I am getting. I have already made around 40 gold selling the lower level leather I was skinning and now I am getting into the stuff that makes really good gold on the auction house. I am about 1/3 of the way to 65 but I ran out of rested XP so I will probably be playing Wranngar until he is out of rested XP. I think he has about a level and a half rested.
