Yonezoe 5/18/08

I helped out Yonezoe some more with Wranngar today in Un'Goro Crater. We ended up doing all the quests there and she leveled up to 49, she was able to wear the leggings I made her the other day. I skinned everything we killed that was skinnable and I ended up with 4 stacks plus of rugged leather and 4 stacks plus of heavy leather. I put those on the auction house and will make about 80 gold from them, not bad for a few hours skinning :). Tomorrow we will go to Felwood and see what quests are there.

Battlegrounds 5/18/08

I went back into AV and fought 5 more battles on Wranngar tonight, we had 2 wins and 3 losses. The wins were when we had a goal to shoot for and everyone was working towards that goal. We rushed FWGY in both our wins, got TP & IBT on the way. We got Galv in one but not the other. Then we moved up and got FWRH and the Frostwolf Towers. After that it was easy to take out Drek. In the losses we had we were not working together. There were a few people that went to Galv at the start of one of the battles and stayed there the whole time saying they needed a tank and healer, while everyone else was telling them to forget Galv. We also lost one due to lack of defense, it looked like we had defense but when the Horde moved into DB it turned out all our defense were AFK. After they capped our bunkers it was only a matter of time before they had Vann down. The AFK problem is really bad and it hurts the whole team. I broke the 36,000 lifetime kill mark today on Wranngar :).

Daily Battleground 5/18/08

The daily battleground today was Alterac Valley. I did it on Wranngar. We won the first battle I was in. We won by rushing FWRH and capping the towers on the way. Then we killed Drek, the Horde weren't even close to Vann when we downed him. We had a pretty good group and I stayed in for a few more battles, 9 all together. We won 3 and lost 6. The AFK problem is still there and getting worse. Now the AFKers are actually defending what they are doing lol. They are trying to argue that if they are actually at their keyboard they are not AFK even though they are not doing anything, pretty sorry bunch the AFKers are. We had a couple turtles and a couple battles where people went for Galv first. I don't know what the fascination is with him but he has cost us a lot of battles. Going for Galv first is an almost guaranteed loss. We only won one battle on reinforcements and the other 2 we downed Drek. The Horde won all but 2 of their battles on reinforcements. The reinforcements were definitely put there to allow the Horde to win, one look at the map and the placement of towers/bunkers confirms that. The daily battleground pays 11g99s and 419 honor.

Daily Cooking Quest 5/17/08

Today's cooking quest was Revenge is Tasty. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra. I flew over to Skettis and got the wing I needed on the first kill on Wranngar but it took me 2 kills on Gomorra to get it. After I had that I flew back to Shattrath and cooked it up with a few warp burgers in the cooking pot provided. I picked Barrel of Fish for my reward on both toons but I didn't get a recipe today, just some fish. Some I cooked and put in the guild vault for other guild members to use and some I put in the vault uncooked in case anyone needs it to level up their cooking. The daily cooking quest pays 7g59s plus the reward.

Yonezoe 5/17/08

After I finished my fishing quest on Wranngar I headed to Tanaris to give Yonezoe a hand. We finished up all the quests she had there including escorting a robot chicken that was just looking to start trouble with everything it saw. When she handed in her quests there she leveled up to 47 :). From there we headed over to Un'Goro Crater to see if she could get any quests there. She was able to get quests there and we worked on those until it was time to log off.

Fishing Wranngar 5/17/08

I finished Nat Pagle, Angler Extreme on Wranngar today, now I can level my fishing up to 300 :). I put it off for awhile because there is so much running around involved. First I went to Swamp of Sorrows and fished there for about 5 minutes until I caught a Misty Reed Mahi Mahi, then I headed off to Stranglethorn Vale and caught a Savage Coast Blue Sailfin. That took me about 10 minutes of fishing. After that it was off to Desolace on Kalimdor to catch a Sar'theris Striker. It took me at least 20 minutes to catch one of those. Then I headed off to Feralas to catch a Feralas Ahi. That took a half hour to 40 minutes, I was almost ready to give up on it for the day when I finally got one. At least there was someone there to talk to so I wasn't too bored. Then I had to head back to Theramore to turn it in and learn Artisan Fishing which will allow me to level my fishing skill up to 300. I am glad that is done, now I can get busy leveling up my fishing so I can fish in the Outlands.
