Sons of Hodir Daily Quests 1/14/10

I did all my daily quests for The Sons of Hodir on Wranngar and Gomorra today. These are quick and easy and pay some decent gold.

The ones I do for The Sons of Hodir are Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. There is one more, Thrusting Hodir's Spear, that I don't do because it is just not worth the aggravation for what it pays, in my opinion.

I do these in this order, Blowing Hordir's Horn and Hot and Cold together because they are in the same area, behind Dun Niffelem, where you pick up the quests, then Feeding Arngrim, Polishing the Helm and Spy Hunter together on the other side of Dun Niffelem. They just seem to flow well that way with the least amount of wasted time or running around.

These all pay 13g23s each and I usually get around 20 gold each in garbage drops. Today I got a piece of Artic Fur, which is currently going for 80 gold a piece on the auction house, while I was skinning something I killed. Altogether I made 132g30s between the two plus, roughly, another 20 gold each from the garbage drops. I will keep the piece of Artic Fur as I might need it some day. I have about 2 and a half stacks now, around 50 pieces.

Knights of the Ebon Blade Daily Quests 1/14/10

Today I did the daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade on both Wranngar and Gomorra.

First I went to the Shadow Vault in Icecrown and picked up Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire! and Shoot 'Em Up, then I flew over to Death's Rise and picked up From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and I already had Intelligence Gathering.

I did From Their Corpses, Rise! and No Fly Zone first. Today Wranngar completed and turned in Intelligence Gathering. These are done in Onslaught Harbor and go pretty easy and quick. I don't complete Intelligence Gathering every day because the drop rate on the documents you need to get is really poor, instead I collect what I get while doing the other 2 and turn it in when I have 5, usually once a week. I turned these in at Death's Rise for 13g23s each.

From there I was off to Jotunhiem to do Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire! and Shoot 'Em Up. These are 3 more that are really easy and go pretty quick once you get a routine down. I also get a lot of garbage drops from these 2 that add up to about 20 gold a day each. These are on the way back from Death's Rise to the Shadow Vault. Once I am done there I fly back to the Shadow Vault and turn them in for 13g23s each. I also sell all the garbage drops I got there and repair.

Between Wranngar and Gomorra I made 145g53s and another, roughly, 40 gold in drops. Not too bad for 20 minutes each.

Convention at the Legerdemain - Daily Cooking 1/14/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Convention at the Legerdemain for Wranngar and Gomorra. This one is quick and easy but takes a lot of mats.

First I headed over to the bank and grabbed some Chilled Meat to make the Northern Stew this calls for. I built a fire outside the bank and cooked it up. I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop, from there and grabbed the Jug of Wine this calls for. Once I had everything I needed I headed over to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain, and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag.

Today Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices in it.

Wranngar had 4 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in his. This is about the best I can expect from this daily as I already have everything else it has to offer.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 1/14/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Blood Is Thicker for Wranngar and Gomorra today. This ones not getting old...

This had me taking the flight path to Un'upe. Once there I flew inland until I found a Marsh Caribou to kill and get covered in blood. Once I was covered in blood I flew back to shore and jumped in, creating a blood pool. I fished the blood pool until I caught 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy.

I took those back to Marcia and traded them in for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Gomorra's had 10g77s38c, a Glow Worm, a Velociraptor Skull and 2 Deviate Fish. Not a great haul for Gom.

Wranngar's had 10g13s82c, a Glow Worm and a Piece of Worthless Green Glass. Wrann didn't make out any better.
