Wranngar Epic Flight Form 5/31/08

I did a bunch of the quests in the druid epic flight form chain on Wranngar today. I made it all the way to the 13th quest but couldn't kill the mob by myself, he had 34k+ hp and nothing I seemed to do hurt him much while he was just taking chunks out of me. I will get Yonezoe to log onto her Warrior, Axeelina, and give me a hand when she gets on. The quest progression is as follows:

I am almost to the point where I will need the key to Heroic Sethekk Halls to finish up this chain and get my epic flight form. I need to work on my rep with lower city so I can get the key, I have about 1,500 rep to go before I will be able to obtain that. I guess I will have to do a few Shadow Lab runs to get my rep up as I have done every quest I can find for them. I made about 60 gold doing these quests so far.

Update: I finished #13 with Axeelina and am now up to #15. When I turned in #13 I got Charm of Swift Flight. I will work on the rest of them tomorrow or when I have some time. They weren't hard quests, just a lot of running around.

Daily Fishing - Wranngar 5/31/08

I got to do a daily fishing quest in Outlands on Wranngar for the first time today, it was Felblood Fillet. I flew out to Shadowmoon Valley and caught what I needed in a few casts then flew back and handed it in. I got my Bag of Fishing Treasures which contained 7g79s and Sharpened Fish Hookx5. Nothing too exciting today, I am still holding out for the good stuff :). I was pretty happy to finally be able to do the daily fishing quest on Wranngar.

Daily Cooking 5/31/08

I did the daily cooking quest on Wranngar today. It was Revenge is Tasty left over from yesterday because I never got to do it. I flew out to Skettis and killed a Monstrous Kiliri for it's wing then flew back to Shattrath to cook it up with a few warp burgers. I turned it in and picked Barrel of Fish for my reward as usual. No recipe again today, I might have to switch over to the Crate of Meat, it's possible I have gotten all the recipes that come in the Barrel of Fish. Anyway I got Figluster's Mudfishx11 in my Barrel of Fish so that wasn't too bad. The daily cooking quest pays 7g59s plus the reward.

Daily's 5/30/08

I only had time to do a few of my daily's on Wranngar today, I did a few of the Shattered Sun daily's and made about 50 gold. With the other daily's I did today on Gomorra I just ended up running out of time. Hopefully when Yonezoe hits 70 I will be able to spend a little more time on all my daily's on both Wranngar and Gomorra. We will be leveling up new characters too but I am going to limit the amout of time per day I spend doing that. I did take a minute to enjoy the view from the beach :).

Daily Cooking 5/30/08

I did the daily cooking quest today on Gomorra. It was Revenge is Tasty. I flew over to Skettis and killed a Monstrous Kiliri for the Kiliri Wing I needed then headed back to Shattrath to cook it up with 3 Warp Burgers. A pretty quick, simple quest. Daily Fishing 5/30/08

I did the daily fishing on Gomorra today. It was Felblood Fillet. I flew out to Shadowmoon Valley and caught one on my third cast. I went back and turned in the quest and got my "Bag of Fishing Treasures". It contained 6g79s87c, Elixir of Water Walkingx3 and Jaggal Pearlx2. Not very good rewards but you have the chance of getting some really good rewards from the daily fishing quest.

Netherwing Daily's 5/30/08

I started doing my Netherwing daily's on Gomorra today. It took me about two and a half hours to get them done. I think I can shave a half hour off that tomorrow but they are still going to take a long time to get done. I hope to get them down to an hour and a half or so once I get going and get a routine down. I started the chain on Gomorra a long time ago but you can only go so far before you need your 300 riding skill because they give you a "loner" Netherdrake to use while you are doing the quests and that requires 300 riding skill to ride. Right now I am about 3/4 of the way through neutral with them so I have a long way to go to exalted. When I am exalted I will be able to buy a Netherdrake. A Netherdrake is a 280% speed flying mount.

Yonezoe 5/30/08

I helped out Yonezoe with Wranngar in Hellfire Peninsula today, we were at it most of the day. Jacedic helped for awhile too. She was able to level up to 60 today :). I think I was as happy about that as she was because now I can put my level 40 mount away and start riding one of my epic mounts again :). I was riding my Black War Elekk most of the day. She got a Great Green Elekk for a mount. We did a lot of quests and also did Ramparts, which is an instance, with Jacedic, Stalleris and one of Totomoyo's alt's, a 70 Rogue. It was a very smooth run with 3 70's. I think tomorrow we will be heading to Zangarmarsh to quest which is good with me, I need rep with that faction.

Stratholme 5/29/08

Three of us went into Stratholme tonight to do a few quests for Yonezoe. There was Wranngar, Yonezoe and Casandraa. Yonezoe ended up leveling up to 58 in there so she can now go to the Outlands and quest, that was one good thing that came out of it, about the only good thing. About half way through the instance I decided we should shoot for Deathcharger's Reins, a mount dropped by Baron Rivendare. When we finally got to the Slaughter House the gate was down and I couldn't figure out why. This was only the second time I had tried for the mount and it was only the second time I had gone that far into Strtatholme as the groups usually break up long before we ever get that far. Stratholme is a pretty hard instance and people get discouraged. We wiped twice by the time we got there and I was getting discouraged but I figured after all that we would see if the mount would drop for us. I was pretty upset not to be able to open the gate and get a shot at it. I looked online and couldn't find out why that gate would be down and I couldn't remember what we did before to open it so we ended up hearthing out of there. After we got back to Shattrath I really looked into it online and finally found that we had to clear 3 rooms after killing the mobs outside them to get the gate to open, we only cleared 2 :(. I went back hoping it hadn't rest yet but it had. Basically what I got out of it was a 14 gold repair bill and not even a chance at the mount.

Daily Cooking 5/29/08

I did the daily cooking quest today on Wranngar. It was Super Hot Stew again for the third day in a row, this one is getting old. I had to go to Blades Edge and kill some Wind Serpents and Lashtail Raptors to get some meat. Once I had that I cooked it up and flew over to Forge Camp Terror and killed an elemental. I cooked my stew over his carcass and was done. I picked Barrel of Fish for my reward but no recipe again today. The daily cooking quest pays 7g59s plus the reward which was some good fish. I didn't bother doing it on Gomorra as it was the same quest for the third day in a row.

Daily's 5/29/08

I did my Shattered Sun daily's on Wranngar today along with Gaining the Advantage. It took me about an hour to get them all done. I try to do the Shattered Sun daily's in a different order each day to break up the monotony or it would bored me to death. I did the bombing run in one pass today, yesterday it took me 2 passes to get it done I was lagging so bad. Usually the only time it takes me 2 runs is when I am really lagging or I take off right behind someone. If I take off right behind someone then I get to watch them kill everything in front of me and there is nothing left for me to kill. Altogether I made about 120 gold which I sent to the bank. The gold is piling up :).

Blackrock Depths 5/29/08

I helped out a friend, Skullmage, in Balckrock Depths today on Wranngar. We started out with a full group of 5, me, another Druid Mynasgurith, a Hunter who's name I didn't get before they left and a Paladin who's name I didn't get before they left and Skullmage. We were down to 3 in our group by the end, me, Skullmage and Mynasgurith. We didn't have too much of a problem anyway until we all had a DC. I was still alive when I got back on but the other 2 were dead. I tried to rez the Druid so they could rez the Mage but they were still disconnected so they didn't get the rez. They had to run back from the graveyard and were able to find their way back to where they died which was good because I don't know my way around in there, I am more PvP than Dungeons. They were able to get a couple quests done though then Skullmage had to leave so the group broke up before we finished. That is how instances I group for go, that's why I don't do too many of them. Before we got going we were waiting for the hunter to show up and one of the people in our group that we summoned in, Mynasgurith, was flagged for PvP. There were 4 or 5 Horde waiting there outside the instance so I kept an eye on them. I stealthed and just sat there. One of them flagged but they weren't causing any trouble so I left them alone. Sure enough not too long after Mynasgurith got there one of them decided it would be fun to attack him, turned out it wasn't much fun for them. I got the 2 that were flagged and the others wisely decided not to join in. When they came back I just let them go, no honor in killing someone that low, I just did it the first time for payback.

Gomorra's Mounts 5/28/08

These are the mounts Gomorra has. They are, top to bottom: Felsteed - Lvl 40 Class Mount, Dredsteed - Epic Class Mount, Cobalt War Talbuk - Epic Kurneai Rep Reward, Black War Elekk - Epic PvP Reward, Black War Tiger - Epic PvP Reward, Stormpike Battle Charger - Epic PvP Reward, Swift Purple Gryphon - Epic Flying Mount and Ebon Gryphon - Flying Mount. I am working on getting him a Netherdrake Flying Mount.

Wranngar's Mounts 5/28/08

Here are the mounts Wranngar has collected so far. They are, top to bottom: Striped Night Saber- Lvl 40 Racial Mount, Swift Frost Saber - Epic Racial Mount, Black War Tiger - Epic PvP Reward, Stormpike Battle Charger - Epic PvP Reward, Black War Elekk - Epic PvP Reward, Swift Purple Gryphon - Epic Flying Mount and finally my Epic Flight Form. I am still working on getting him a Talbuk which is a Rep Reward from the Kurenai.

Yonezoe 5/28/08

I only got to spend a little time with Yonezoe today in Silithus before she had to log off. I helped her on Wranngar. I think she said she had 6 bars to go until she reached 57. Tomorrow we will probably head back to Eastern Plaguelands and try to get her to 58 so she can head into the Outlands where you can level a lot faster. I think one of the reasons you level so fast in the Outlands, especially when you first get there, is the fact that things start attacking you as soon as you walk through the portal and they just don't stop, it is non-stop action.

Daily's 5/28/08

I did all my Shattered Sun daily's on Wranngar today plus Gaining the Advantage. It didn't take me too long and I was able to send 165 gold to the bank. I also got enough Heavy Clefthoof leather to make another Clefthide Leg Armor kit which I will put on the auction house for no less that 90 gold buyout. I usually get anywhere from 90-120 gold for one depending on what the market is. Any Clefthide Leg Armor kit's listed for under 90 gold when I want to list mine I just buy out and relist, I have made some nice gold doing that too, I got 2 for 70 gold each the other day and resold them for 90 gold making 40 gold profit for nothing :).
