Wrangar 12/04/08

I played Wrangar for awhile tonight and got him to level 63. I was questing in Terrokar Forest near Shattrath City. I would like to skip questing in Zangarmarsh in favor of leveling, hopefully I will be able to quest in Terrokar and move on from there. Zangarmarsh is just a depressing place. I will have to go back to a lot of places and work on my rep once I get done leveling. The quests in Terrokar Forest are pretty easy and I only died once when I lost my wireless connection and found myself dead when I logged back in. I got the flight point for Allerian Stronghold while I was there and picked up a bunch of quests. I went back to Ebon Hold and got my training done then went and got the key to Searing Gorge. Don't really need it, just wanted to have it. With the key you can open the tunnel between Thelsamar and Searing Gorge. I think I am playing Wrangar more now because he is leveling faster but I will have to get back on Wranngar soon and get him leveled up too.

Wrangar 12/2/08

I played Wrangar for awhile tonight and got him to level 62. I was questing in Hellfire Peninsula and Zangarmarsh. I was in Zangarmarsh when I leveled. So far I can skin what I kill there so I am happy about that. My skinning is up to 334 now, there is not a whole lot of stuff in Zangarmarsh that you can skin after killing. I completed all the quests I could solo in Hellfire and got killed by the Fel Reaver while I was skinning a Hellboar. The first few quests I have done in Zangarmarsh have been pretty easy and I am about half way to 63 now. I am running out of rested XP so I will probably be on Wranngar tomorrow, he should have some rested XP, maybe the rest of the level :).

Daily Fishing 8/23/08

I did the daily fishing on Wranngar today, it was Shrimpin' Ain't Easy. Turns out it was pretty easy today. This had me heading over to my spot at Umbrafen Lake (78,74) in Zangarmarsh. It took me 13 casts to get enough Bloated Barbed Gill Trout to give me enough Giant Freshwater Shrimp. Once I had the 10 I needed I headed back over to Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and turned them in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. When I opened that up I got 7g10s45c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Rusted Lock. What's up with the Rusted Locks lately? Anyway you can see there was nothing exciting today but there are still a lot of good rewards to be had so I will keep plugging away at it.

Daily's 7/20/08

I only had time to do 2 of the daily's on Wranngar today. The one's I did were the daily cooking which was Soup for the Soul and the daily fishing which was Shrimpin' Ain't Easy.

The daily fishing had me heading over to Umbrafen Lake (78,74) in Zangarmarsh to catch Bloated Barbed Gill Trout. When you open them up you find Giant Freshwater Shrimp inside. I had to catch about 8 to get my 10. Then I headed back over to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and turned them in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. I got 6g75s71c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 4 pieces of Salvaged Scrap Metal. Nothing great there and it has been awhile since I got anything good from the daily fishing so I am due for something good.

The daily cooking had The Rokk, (61,15) in Shattrath, sending me over to the Ancestral Grounds (25,59) in Nagrand to cook up some Spiritual Soup. Once I had that done I headed back to Shattrath to turn in. I picked Barrel of Fish for my reward and got 5 Spotted Feltail, 5 Figluster's Mudfish and 3 Clean Fishbones. You throw the fishbones in the soup for flavor. I also got the 7g59s this quest pays. I have all the good stuff you can get from this quest so I am basically doing it for the cooking supplies.

The Steamvault 6/22/08

After Shattered Halls we decided to try another instance, I said any one would be good except Shattered Halls, I had enough of that one for one day. We got another group together and headed into the Steamvaults, an instance in Zangarmarsh. This group was a lot more organized and we had a Paladin to tank which was better as I am really geared for DPS at the moment and feel more comfortable doing DPS. I can tank normal instances with the gear I have, all epic PvP not PvE gear, but I wouldn't last long as a tank in a Heroic instance. This group consisted of Wranngar as DPS, Yonezoe as healer, Dracesslewis a 70 Paladin as main tank, Strycker a 70 hunter as DPS and crowd control and Ilth of the Shattered Sun as off tank and DPS. We had a lot smoother run in this one with this group. Everything was marked and everyone waited until the main tank had good threat before jumping in. We worked our way through all the bosses to the end without much problem. We got a bunch of greens and some blues. Most of us were there to build rep but one person was there for a key fragment to another instance. All in all a great run and a good time.

Wranngar 6/19/08

I worked on Wranngar's fishing a little more tonight and got him up to 372, only 3 more to go :). I would have got the last 3 before I logged off but it was too late and I was too tired. Tomorrow I will get him to 375 and be done with it. I was fishing around Allerian Stronghold in Terokkar Forest and Umbrafen Lake in Zangarmarsh. I really love having the ability to track fish, I just fly around on my epic mount at 280% speed until I pick up a school of fish then fish it out. I got a lot of Golden Darter, Spotted Feltail, Zangarian Sporefish and a Huge Spotted Feltail which I cooked up, with the exception of the Huge Spotted Feltail, and put in the guild vault. I am waiting until I have 20 of the Huge Spotted Feltail before I cook them up. I also got 8 Motes of Water and a Goldenscale Vendorfish which sell for 6 gold to a vendor.

Daily's 6/19/08

I only did a few daily's today, the fishing, cooking and Gaining the Advantage on Wranngar, and the fishing and cooking on Gomorra. Today's fishing quest was Shrimpin' Ain't Easy. I flew out to my spot at Umbrafen Lake (78,74) in Zangarmarsh on Wranngar and got all my Giant Freshwater Shrimp in no time, then I got on Gomorra and did it again, it went quick for him too. In the process Wranngar's fishing leveled up to 365, only 10 more to go :). After I had all my Shrimp I flew back to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and turned in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Wranngar's had 7g41s7c, 3 Elixir of Water Walking, and a Piece of Polished Driftwood, nothing too exciting there. Gomorra got 6g59s89c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 3 Motes of Water, nothing too good there either but I can use the motes to make Primal Mooncloth. Then I went to The Rokk (61,15) in Shattrath and got the daily cooking which was Revenge is Tasty and headed to Skettis on Wranngar. It took me 9 kills to get the wing I needed on Wranngar but when I went back on Gomorra he got his on the second kill. I went back to Shattrath and turned in. I picked Crate of Meat on both and Wranngar's had 6 pieces of Serpent Flesh, 6 pieces of Talbuk Venison and a Torn Furry Ear, again nothing too good there but the meat comes in handy. Gomorra got 8 pieces of Serpent Flesh, 6 pieces of Buzzard Meat and an Unidentified Eye which I guess is used for flavor. No new recipes today. The each got the 7g59s this quest pays. Then I headed out to Nagrand on Wranngar to kill and skin some Clefthoof for Gaining the Advantage. The Nether Residue just wasn't dropping today, I had to kill between 25 and 30 Clefthoof before I got my 8, usually I get it in less than 15 kills. I turned that in and got the 16g39s and the Major Rejuvenation Potion this quest pays. I may go back later and do the Shattered Sun daily's but I am not sure.

Yonezoe 6/14/08

I helped out Yonezoe some more tonight with Wranngar. Somehow she managed to find some more quests in
Nagrand so I helped her with those. Those quests took us back to Shattrath, to the Bone Wastes and Zangarmarsh plus a lot in Nagrand itself. I really don't think there is much left for her there but then again I thought that the last time we left there. She hit level 67 tonight, only 3 more to go until 70 :). I imagine we will be heading to Netherstorm soon.

Daily Fishing 6/13/08

Today's daily fishing quest was Shrimpin' Ain't Easy for a change. The last 5 days were Felblood Fillet and that was getting real old. I flew out to Umbrafen Lake (78,74) and caught 8 Bloated Barbed Gill Trout which I opened to get the Giant Freshwater Shrimp that are inside. Some only have one but some have 2 so I had all I needed in the first 6. I flew back to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and turned it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today it contained 7g64s23c, 6 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 2 Mote's of Water. Not too bad but not one of the good rewards.

Fishing - Wranngar 6/11/08

I worked on Wranngar's fishing a little more today. I went to Zangarmarsh and fished where I go to catch Bloated Barbed Gill Trout (78,74) for the Shrimpin' Ain't Easy daily fishing quest. I got his fishing up to 350 now, only 25 more to go. I caught a bunch of fish, 29 Barbed Gill Trout, 9 Spotted Feltail and 6 Zangarian Sporefish which I cooked up and put in the guild bank for anyone who needs it.

Daily Fishing 6/7/08

The daily fishing quest today was Shrimpin' Ain't Easy. As it turns out it is pretty easy. I got it done in about 5 minutes or less on each character. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra. I had to fly over to Zangarmarsh and catch Bloated Barbed Gill Trout. Once I had about 15 of them I cut them open and took out the Giant Freshwater Shrimp inside. When I had 10 I flew back to Old Man Barlo and turned in. Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had, 7g36s51c, 2 Elixir's of Water Walking and a Gold Wedding Band which I could get 15 gold from a vendor for but I might put it on the auction house for 40 gold and see what happens. Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had, 6g73s8c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Piece of Polished Driftwood. There are still a few good fishing rewards I haven't got yet so I will keep plugging away at it. I also increased Wranngar's fishing skill to 341 today.

Yonezoe 6/6/08

I helped Yonezoe some more today with Wranngar. We did some quests in Zangarmarsh, Terokkar Forest and The Bone Wastes. We had a pretty good time of it and she hit level 63 :). I think the leveling will go quicker in the Bone Wastes and hopefully we will be able to move into Nagrand soon.

Daily Fishing Quest 6/2/06

I did the daily fishing quest on Gomorra and Wranngar today. It was Shrimpin' Ain't Easy. I flew over to Zangarmarsh and did it on Wranngar while I was helping Yonezoe. It only took me about 5 minutes to complete. I went back later on Gomorra, after Yonezoe logged off, and did it, it took about 5 minutes on him too. When I turned it in Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures contained: 7g22s40c, Sharpened Fish Hookx6 and a Piece of Polished Driftwood, nothing good today. Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had: 7g22s40s, Sharpened Fish Hookx6 and a Ornate Drinking Stein which I got 11 gold for from a vendor. Nothing too good there but a little more profitable :).

Yonezoe 6/2/08

I helped Yonezoe some more in Zangarmarsh with Wranngar today. We did a bunch of quests which she turned in but she still didn't level. We also did a run through Blood Furnace an instance in Hellfire Peninsula. I am not sure what the problem is but tomorrow we will be moving on to a new area where all the quests are red. As long as she can get them she can do them with me along. I got to do some fishing there and got a few motes of water.

Yonezoe 6/1/08

I helped Yonezoe out some more today with Wranngar. She was questing in Zangarmarsh again. She got on kind of late again today so we didn't have a whole lot of time and she is still level 61. Tomorrow we will get her to 63 hopefully. We did get a few quests done but the way they hand them out there was a lot of running around. A lot of the quests have pre-req quests so you get them as you go along. The most time consuming one was when we had to kill fireflies for wings, they have a very poor drop rate. I was fishing in some floating debris and caught Weather-Beaten Journal, now I can track schools of fish on my mini-map, it was a great catch :).

Daily Fishing - Gomorra 5/31/08

I got the daily fishing quest done on Gomorra just a little while before the day rolled over for daily's. It was Shrimpin' Ain't Easy, despite it's name, a pretty easy quest that took me all of 10 minutes to complete. I had never had this one before so that was kind of nice. I flew to Zangarmarsh and caught what I needed in Umnrafen Lake. In my Bag of Fishing Treasures I got: 7g36s30c, Recipe: Captain Rumsey's Lager, Elixir of Water Walkingx3 and a Broken Spyglass. The recipe is one of the reasons I am doing the daily fishing quest even though most days the rewards aren't much, I was pretty happy to get it, it is one of the better rewards.

Yonezoe 5/31/08

I helped out Yonezoe some more today with Wranngar. She got on kind of late so we didn't get to do too much. She finished up in Hellfire Peninsula and we headed to Zangarmarsh to quest there. We did 4 quests together before I had to go help someone else for a little bit but she did hit 61 today :). Tomorrow we will be doing more quests in Zangarmarsh which is good for me because I get a little reputation from killing certain things there. I can also farm strange spores there which I use to make buff food for Gomorra's Felguard.

Yonezoe 5/30/08

I helped out Yonezoe with Wranngar in Hellfire Peninsula today, we were at it most of the day. Jacedic helped for awhile too. She was able to level up to 60 today :). I think I was as happy about that as she was because now I can put my level 40 mount away and start riding one of my epic mounts again :). I was riding my Black War Elekk most of the day. She got a Great Green Elekk for a mount. We did a lot of quests and also did Ramparts, which is an instance, with Jacedic, Stalleris and one of Totomoyo's alt's, a 70 Rogue. It was a very smooth run with 3 70's. I think tomorrow we will be heading to Zangarmarsh to quest which is good with me, I need rep with that faction.
