Blackrock Caverns Entrance

The entrance to Blackrock Caverns is pretty easy to find. You will want to head to Blackrock Mountain (Burning Steppes/Searing Gorge) just like you were going to go into Blackrock Spire. From the meeting stone at Blackrock Spire you will want to head up the passageway just like you were going to BRS. On the way in you may encounter a couple mobs by a bonfire. Right after the bonfire you will see some broken crates and stuff, you will want to look to your right. The entrance to Blackrock Caverns is right there. This is a pretty quick one to find and flying in Azeroth only makes it that much faster and easier.

I am not sure how I feel about this new process of finding the entrance to a dungeon before you can do it. On the plus side, if you queue in through dungeon finder, which most people do, and you die inside the dungeon you will be able to find your way back. Also if you have to meet there at least you will know where it is. On the minus side, it is kind of a waste of time while you are trying to quest.

Brieanna - Level 49 12/25/09

Today I quested all over the place on Brieanna. I did one in The Hinterlands, one in Burning Steeps, two in Tanaris, and a few in Un'Goro Crater. Those had me running all over the place, I went to Darnassus, The Hinterlands and The Blasted Lands to complete quests.

She is moving along at a good pace and I should be in Outlands pretty soon. Her skinning is up to 335 although her Herbalism is still only 178, I will have to work on that. I would like to be able to train for Grand Master Skinning before I get to Outlands.

All the quests I did and have in Un'Goro Crater are orange and red so I will get some good XP from them. I have a lot of them too so I will be there for a couple days probably.

Brieanna - Level 45 12/23/09

I worked on Brieanna some more tonight and got her to level 45. I wanted to get her to level 45 before Christmas so I could do Metzen the Reindeer, which I did tonight. I have less than 3 bars to 46 now.

I finished up all the quests I could solo in Hinterlands, one left, then went back to Tanaris and got a couple more there. I did one quest that was orange but got less XP than one of the yellow ones I did, I don't understand that... I hit 44 in Tanaris while questing.

Right now I am questing in Searing Gorge, I started there after Tanaris while I was still 44, that is where I leveled to 45. The mobs I was killing at level 44 were level 47-49, orange and red to me, so I was getting good XP off the kills too. I have a few more quests there, mostly orange, that should get me to 46 easily. I will get more as I go along too. I want to do the one that gets me the Key to Searing Gorge, that makes things a lot easier.

Wrangar 12/04/08

I played Wrangar for awhile tonight and got him to level 63. I was questing in Terrokar Forest near Shattrath City. I would like to skip questing in Zangarmarsh in favor of leveling, hopefully I will be able to quest in Terrokar and move on from there. Zangarmarsh is just a depressing place. I will have to go back to a lot of places and work on my rep once I get done leveling. The quests in Terrokar Forest are pretty easy and I only died once when I lost my wireless connection and found myself dead when I logged back in. I got the flight point for Allerian Stronghold while I was there and picked up a bunch of quests. I went back to Ebon Hold and got my training done then went and got the key to Searing Gorge. Don't really need it, just wanted to have it. With the key you can open the tunnel between Thelsamar and Searing Gorge. I think I am playing Wrangar more now because he is leveling faster but I will have to get back on Wranngar soon and get him leveled up too.

Sunken Temple 5/16/08

Today I was helping Yonezoe on Wranngar. We did all the quests she could get in Searing Gorge then we went to The Blasted Lands to see if there were any there she could get, there weren't. After that we went to Sunken Temple. Janvryn joined us for that. Yonezoe only had one quest to do in there and at her level, 47, she was lucky to have that. Most people don't go into Sunken Temple until level 50 or so but when you have 2 level 70's with you it is easy:). We didn't have any trouble in there and were able to get her quest done. She got a bunch of green and blue items to disenchant plus a couple nice blues she can use when she hits 49 & 50. She also got one really nice epic drop, Kang the Decapitator, while we were in there. I have never heard of it dropping in there but it is a world drop so it can pretty much drop off of anything anywhere of a certain level. According to Allakhazam it has sold for as low as 100 gold and as high as 9,000 gold but the most common price is 433 gold. She also got a pattern, Pattern: Green Dragonscale Leggings, that she gave to me, so I made her a pair of Green Dragonscale Leggings and put a Clefthide Leg Armor kit on it for her. She still has 2 levels to go before she can use them but they will be waiting for her when she's ready.
