Brieanna - Level 49 12/25/09

Today I quested all over the place on Brieanna. I did one in The Hinterlands, one in Burning Steeps, two in Tanaris, and a few in Un'Goro Crater. Those had me running all over the place, I went to Darnassus, The Hinterlands and The Blasted Lands to complete quests.

She is moving along at a good pace and I should be in Outlands pretty soon. Her skinning is up to 335 although her Herbalism is still only 178, I will have to work on that. I would like to be able to train for Grand Master Skinning before I get to Outlands.

All the quests I did and have in Un'Goro Crater are orange and red so I will get some good XP from them. I have a lot of them too so I will be there for a couple days probably.

Brieanna - Level 45 12/23/09

I worked on Brieanna some more tonight and got her to level 45. I wanted to get her to level 45 before Christmas so I could do Metzen the Reindeer, which I did tonight. I have less than 3 bars to 46 now.

I finished up all the quests I could solo in Hinterlands, one left, then went back to Tanaris and got a couple more there. I did one quest that was orange but got less XP than one of the yellow ones I did, I don't understand that... I hit 44 in Tanaris while questing.

Right now I am questing in Searing Gorge, I started there after Tanaris while I was still 44, that is where I leveled to 45. The mobs I was killing at level 44 were level 47-49, orange and red to me, so I was getting good XP off the kills too. I have a few more quests there, mostly orange, that should get me to 46 easily. I will get more as I go along too. I want to do the one that gets me the Key to Searing Gorge, that makes things a lot easier.

Brieanna - Level 43 12/22/09

Brieanna is coming right along, I got her up to level 43 today. I finished up everything in Stranglethorn Vale and Alterac Mountains then moved on to Tanaris. I did all the quests I could there, with the exception of the dungeon which I will go back to, then went to the Hinterlands and quested for a while. I still have a few more quests to do there which will hopefully get me to 45, then I might check out the Swamp of Sorrows to see if they have anything for me. I am still too low to move into the Plague Lands.

Brieanna - Level 40 Now 12/21/09

I did a lot of questing on Brieanna today and got her to level 40. Level 40 is kind of a big deal. At level 40 Hunters get to switch from leather gear to Mail. It is also when you get your 'epic' 100% mount. You used to get your 60% mount at 40 and your 100% at 60 but they dropped them 20 levels each. I also made her a Christmas outfit to wear around town. It gives absolutely no protection so it is definitely something to wear when not in combat lol.

I cleaned up a lot of quests in Arathi Highlands and Stranglethorn Vale. I really like playing a Hunter, it seems to be pretty simple so far. I am having no problem soloing yellow and orange quests. I haven't tried soloing a red yet because I didn't have any in the ones I cleaned up. Maybe tomorrow I will try one of those. I was able to get her up 3 levels, from 37 to 40, pretty quickly.

I also worked on my Herbalism and have that up to 158 so that is coming along well. I can pick most of the Herbs I am finding while I am questing which is good, I hate having to go back and level up a profession. I have made over 80 gold in the last 2 days with her professions, Skinning and Herbalism. That is pretty good for a level 40 that just started Herbing yesterday I think.

Breianna 12/20/09

I played Brieanna for a while tonight, I was working on her Herbalism. She has Skinning and Herbalism for professions. Her skinning is at 277 which is right on track for where she's questing but her Herbalism was at 1.

I started picking herbs in Dun Morogh where I was getting Silverleaf, Peacebloom and Earthroot. I had to go see the Herbalism Trainer at level 75 to train to 150. As I leveled up I moved into Loc Modan where I was getting Silverleaf, Peacebloom, Earthroot, Mageroyal, Briarthorn, which seems to come with Swiftthistle, and Bruiseweed. I got everything I could in Loc Modan and moved into the Wetlands. In the Wetlands I could pick Briarthorn, Swiftthistle and Bruiseweed but I couldn't pick the Liferoot and Wild Steelbloom there. I am at 107 now in Herbalism and need to get to 150 before I can pick those.

I looked on Thottbot and saw that I can pick Bruiseweed and Briarthorn in Duskwood so I headed there before I logged off.

When my bags got full I hit the auction house and put all the herbs I collected on there. I should make about 10 gold from them. I can't use them, Brieanna is a gatherer, she will sell all the leather and herbs she gets, she's a money maker.

Cheese for Glowergold and Dangerously Delicious 11/22/09

The daily cooking today was Cheese for Glowergold, my least favorite daily cooking, and the daily fishing was Dangerously Delicious which can be exciting.

I did the cooking first as usual. I got 2 of the Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses at the Inn where I got the quest, 3 more at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop, and the last one at The Legerdemain. I turned that in to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it. Not a great haul today, but I have been burning through the Northern Spices lately cooking buff food for the battlegrounds so I can use all I can get.

I did the fishing after that. I took the flightpath to Wintergrasp and fished right there where you land. There were no Horde around today so it was pretty uneventful, unlike the last time I did this one. I got the 10 Terrorfish I needed in 37 casts, a few more than it usually takes me to get 10. I hearthed back and went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran. She gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble. Today it had 10g57s40c, a Glow Worm, like I need more of those, and 2 Worthless Pieces of Green Glass. Not a great haul on this one either. There are some good rewards to still be had from this daily, I just wonder when the hell I'm going to get them lol.

Eye of the Storm - Daily Battleground Again 11/18/09

Eye of the Storm was the daily battleground again today, what's that, 3 days in a row now? I did it on Wranngar and we were sucking as bad as usual in there. A lot of AFK and a lot of Flagtards. It took 5 battles for us to get a win, we could have won a couple of the other ones but people went Flagtard and that cost us. It almost seemed like it was still the Holiday weekend. Of course when you only have 15 people a couple AFK really hurts. Blizzard needs to get off their ass and do something about the AFK problem which is worse than it ever was even though they are allegedly "doing something about it". Anyway I finally got it done and got my 19g86s and 1241 bonus honor. I only got around 500 kills today, about half of what I have been getting but I didn't spend as much time in the battlegrounds today as I have been lately.

I did fight in 13 Alterac Valley battles, 9 wins and 4 losses. It sounds like we were doing Ok in there doesn't it? We weren't really, it was some pretty piss poor playing. We won 3 battles on reinforcements which is a lot for the Alliance, we usually don't win on reinforcements. The reason for that is some moron taking SHGY half way through the battle and causing it to drag on forever. A lot of people were pretty mad in a couple of the battles when someone took it, I can't repeat what was said here but you get the picture. In 2 of those we were in the process of capping FW East and West Towers and the RH when someone took it and caused all the Horde to rez in their cave. Naturally they grouped up and overran us at FW Keep and took everything back. We were trying to summon Ivus the Forest Lord again in the last battle but one of the people standing right there was AFK...... We only needed one more. I hate AFKers. They are completely useless. Anyway the Horde overran us and killed the Druids before we got a 10th person. It didn't matter anyway because the Horde were down to 12 reinforcements by that point.

The new thing in AV now seems to be rush Drek then see if you have a tank when you get there. Yeah..... Lost a couple that way. When you go after Drek with all the towers up you have to deal with Drek at 200% health (each tower that is up gives him +25% health), 4 Warmasters (each tower that is up represents a Warmaster) and 2 elite Frostwolves. Needless to say you need a pretty good tank. A plate wearing tank. And you have to kill him quick. People don't seem to realize that or maybe they just don't think.

Daily Cooking - Mustard Dogs 11/18/09

The daily cooking was Mustard Dogs! today and the daily fishing was The Ghostfish again for the 5th day in a row. Way to give some variety Blizzard..... I did the cooking and skipped the fishing. People were complaining about the daily heroic dungeon repeating again too.

The cooking had me running around Dalaran picking Wild Mustard. It didn't take me long to get the 4 I needed and I was off to the bank to grab some Rhino Meat to make the Rhino Dogs. When I had those cooked I combined them with the Wild Mustard to make a Mustard Dog Basket!. I took that to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing and exchanged it for 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices, 5 Old Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award. A pretty good haul today.

I went fishing after that, but not for the daily, I went for Musselback Sculpin because I was running low on Poached Northern Sculpin. That is some good stuff, +80 Attack Power and +40 Stamina. I caught a little over 3 stacks, about 65, in 15 minutes or so. I go in Borean Tundra where the schools are. You get 3 or 4 from each school. I got some crates too, but nothing good came out of them. I have enough buff food to last me awhile now anyway.

I have been having a lot of people whisper me trying to sell me gold lately. Usually while I am in the battlegrounds, but then again I have been spending a lot of time in the battlegrounds lately. I have been getting 4 or 5 a day and you can't just right click on their name and report spam because they are whispering you and that is not an option. More Blizzard fail.....

Eye of the Storm - Daily Battleground 11/17/09

Eye of the Storm was my daily battleground again today, I did it on Wranngar. We won the first one I was in and that was pretty nice. We had a 3 cap going for the most part, a revolving 3 cap. We would lose one tower at the same time we were taking another. That kept the Horde busy and allowed us to win. The Horde didn't seem interested in the flag either, we had no competition there, they were just a bad group I guess.

I fought in 16 Alterac Valley battles after that. We weren't doing as well in there. We had 6 wins and 10 losses in the battles I was in. We won one battle on reinforcements, we called Ivus the Forest Lord and he was on a rampage. He was killing left and right, you could watch the resources count down like a second counter. The secret to Ivus is to keep him healed and buffed, otherwise they kill him pretty quick. Quite a few of our losses were due to people taking and holding SHGY. Some of it was just poor playing. We had a lot of AFK in all the battles we were in as usual but in a few of them people, other than myself, must have had the TuringTest AFK Reporter installed because it would report someone was AFK, then they would be marked, then they would be gone from the battleground. I got over 1,000 honorable kills again tonight. If I keep going at this rate I will have my 100,000 lifetime kills, and my "of the Alliance" title, before Christmas.

Daily Cooking - Convention at the Legerdemain 11/16/09

The daily cooking today was a nice easy one, Convention at the Legerdemain. I got 4 Chilled Meat out of the bank, getting low on those, will have to go hunting soon, and cooked up some Northern Stew. Once I had that in hand I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran, and got a Jug of Wine. I found it upstairs today. I took that over to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 6 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad haul today.

The daily fishing was The Ghostfish again, for the third day in a row, and I skipped it again, for the third day in a row. I didn't feel like wasting the time to fly all the way out ot Sholazar Basin to catch one. If it is still The Ghostfish tomorrow I will do it and hunt up some Chilled Meat while I am there.

Daily Cooking - Infused Mushroom Meatloaf 11/15/09

Today the daily cooking was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf. I did it on Wranngar. It only took me a few minutes to collect the 4 Infused Mushrooms I needed down in the Underbelly. Once I had those I cooked them up with a couple pieces of Chilled Meat and had my meatloaf. I headed over to see Orton Bennet upstairs at Curiosities and Moore and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad haul today.

The daily fishing was The Ghostfish again and I skipped it again. I didn't want to waste the time to fly all the way out to Sholazar Basin to fish for it. I know, I know, I am not going to get the good stuff if I don't do the daily but I just didn't feel like wasting the time.

One Daily Today - Mustard Dogs 11/14/09

I only did my daily cooking on Wranngar today which was Mustard Dogs!, I skipped the daily fishing, which was The Ghostfish, because I didn't feel like wasting the time to fly out to Sholazar Basin.

The daily cooking had me running around Dalaran picking Wild Mustard. Once I had 4 I headed over to the bank and grabbed some Rhino Meat to make my Rhino Dogs. I cooked those up, then combined them with the Wild Mustard to make a Mustard Dog Basket!. I took that to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing and exchanged it for 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it. A so-so haul today.

Daily Battleground - Eye of the Storm 11/13/09

My daily battleground was Eye of the Storm. I did it on Wranngar and it took 3 battles to get a win. I fought in a total of 8 battles tonight, 3 wins and 5 losses. I am not going to go into it except to say too many Flagtards spoil the battle. All the AFK that Blizzard can't seem to do anything about don't help either.

I fought in 10 Alterac Valleys tonight too, 3 wins and 7 losses. 4 of the losses were from people taking and holding SHGY...... In the battles where no one got stupid and held SHGY we had some really good battles. The Horde won a few on reinforcements and we won all of ours by killing Drek. We rarely ever win on reinforcements because the reinforcements are set up so they are to the Horde's advantage in AV. We did have one loss where they Blitz'd us, they went straight to Vann, didn't bother with the towers at all, and killed him. If you have a good tank and some good DPS, not to mention the ability to work as a team, you can do that. We had one of those the other day where we went straight to Drek and killed him. You have to do it in under 6 minutes to get the Blitz. We tried to do that today but, as usual, the Alliance can't work together, everyone going in their own direction, and we couldn't. If you can get a group that can work together you can do it easily though.

Another Sad Day For The Alliance In The Battlegrounds 11/12/09

When I got on Wranngar my daily battelground today was Warsong Gulch so I skipped it. I hate Warsong Gulch, way too much trouble for what you get out of it. I did do 3 Alterac Valley, all losses, and 3 Eye of the Storm, 1 win and 2 losses.

In Eye of the Storm we were just outclassed in one of our losses, although the 3 AFK could have made a difference. There have been more and more AFK in the battlegrounds lately, the problem is far from getting better, it is getting worse. People don't even bother reporting them anymore, they say why bother, nothing gets done. That appears to be the truth as it is the same people you see in there AFK every day. The other battle we lost was Flagtards and AFK. We had one tower and were fighting hard to keep that because most of our team was in the middle fighting for the flag. It is sad. The one we won had a bunch of Flagtards in it too, I don't know how we pulled it off but we did. The Horde seemed to have a lot of Flagtards too in that one so they were not really worried about the 2 towers we had or trying to get them back, that helped a lot.

One of the main problems these days in AV is the fact that it usually starts with a gross unbalance of players in the Hordes favor. We all know Blizzard favors the Horde in AV, they always have, but as if their advantage on reinforcements weren't enough, they are starting the battles out with the Horde outnumbering us 4 to 1. The last battle I was in started 10x40 in the Hordes favor. Needless to say we ended up turtling after being killed without even being able to cap a GY we were so outnumbered. It took 10 minutes into the battle before we had 40 players. Anyone who has fought in AV knows the battle is already decided 10 minutes into it. It is not a matter of people not queueing either, I have waited 4 minutes in queue to get into a battle that was already 5 minutes in progress and the Alliance only had 19 players. I believe this is yet one more thing Blizzard is doing to give the Horde an advantage.

Sewer Stew and Jewel of the Sewers 11/12/09

When I got on Wranngar tonight my daily cooking was Sewer Stew and my daily fishing was Jewel Of The Sewers. A couple of easy ones.

As usual I did the cooking first which had me taking the portal down to Crystalsong Forest. I went to the place where the Crystalsong Carrots grow, directly below Dalaran, and got the 4 I needed pretty quick, there was no one there and I just ran around and picked them. I took the portal back up to Dalaran and grabbed 4 pieces of Chilled Meat out of the bank. I cooked that up with the carrots to get my Vegetable Stew then headed down into the sewers to see Ajay Green at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly. I gave him his stew and he gave me 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it. Not the best haul but I have had worse.

While I was already in the sewers I headed over to The Black Market to fish for a piece of Corroded Jewelry for the daily fishing. I got it on the 16th cast which was more casts than this daily usually takes. I headed back up to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain to turn it in. She gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble. Today it had 9g64s75c, 5 Pygmy Oil, 2 Solid Gold Coin2 and 3 Deviate Fish in it. Nothing to write home about there.

Isle of Conquest - Daily Battleground 11/11/09

When I grabbed my daily battleground on Wranngar today it was Isle of Conquest. I have done this one a half dozen times now and have a pretty good grasp of the routine. We lost the first one I was in, we had a lot of AFK in that one. The second one I was in went a lot better, I think we only had 3 AFK and the rest of the team seemed to know what they were doing. We ended up killing their General for the win. It was a close battle though, the Horde were in our keep attacking our General when we killed theirs. Anyway that got my daily done and I handed it in for 19g86s and 1241 bonus honor.

I fought in 4 Alterac Valleys after that, 2 wins and 2 losses. The first 3 battles were pretty good, we were pretty even right up to the end. The 4th battle was a turtle on our part which we, of course, lost. We killed Drek in the 2 battles we won and the Horde killed Vann in one of the battles we lost and won the other one on reinforcements. The Horde win a lot of their battles on reinforcements because AV is set up to their advantage when it comes to reinforcements. As usual we had a lot of AFK in all 4 of the battles I was in. At least now it looks like Blizzard removes the AFK from the battleground after they are AFK for a certain amount of time making way for someone who could be fighting. But sometimes the person that comes in just stays in the cave and goes AFK, it is a losing battle and one Blizzard has failed horribly to correct. A lot of people have been asking about the TuringTest AFK Reporter when I announce the AFK and want to know where to get it. Only 5 people having it in each battle would take care of the AFK problem.

I fought in 3 Eye of the Storm tonight too. 2 wins and 1 loss. For a change the loss didn't seem to be Flagtard related, we were just outclassed. In one of the two wins I got into a mostly pre-made, 13 of the 15 were a pre-made. Needless to say we won that one easily with a 4 cap. I did notice in the one we lost that only me and one other person went to FRR. There were only 4 people there and one more person with us would have been able to take it. We did have 5 people at MT and another 4 or 5 at DR which is a waste at the beginning of the battle as the Horde are usually trying to cap BET and FRR. Usually if they are going to try and cap something on our side at the start it will be DR so that is where a couple extra people would be helpful. Rarely do they come for MT. All in all, even with the one loss, it was a pretty good night for the Alliance in the EoS battles I was in.

Alterac Valley and Eye of the Storm 11/10/09

I fought in a bunch of battlegrounds on Wranngar tonight. I fought in 12 Alterac Valley, 6 wins and 6 losses, and 4 Eye of the Storm, 1 win and 3 losses.

AV was my daily battleground again today, way to give some variety Blizz..... We won the second one I was in. I tanked Drek in the battle we won for my daily. When I ran into Frostwolf Keep and saw they were attacking Drek without a tank, or the tank had just died, I grabbed him. I don't really have the gear for tanking but I have no problem holding his attention once I get it, so I can do it if I have decent heals. I didn't know if there were any heals left alive or not but I caught his attention and lured him to the back of the room. There was someone healing me, they did a good job of keeping me alive, and I was able to hang onto him until we took him down. That got my daily out of the way. I have always liked AV as long as the people aren't too stupid and for the most part we had good groups today. The ones we lost were pretty close usually and we only had 2 where people held SHGY, keeping all the Horde rezzing in front of us. We did have one rare win while holding SHGY, we won that one on reinforcements.

When we start AV we are usually outnumbered by at least 10, sometimes as much as 20. It is a rare occasion when we start 40x40. Today was no exception. The thing that really hurts on top of that is when 10 or more people never even leave the cave. I am talking about the AFK losers. One of those, Mattchuck from Forstwolf, was AFK in every battle I was in. He was AFK in 12 battles. Now according to Blizzard people that are continuously AFK receive suspensions and can even be banned from the battlegrounds, but I see the same people in there, day after day, AFK. I always have, this is nothing new. This loser is a good example, if you look at his gear you can see this loser spends a lot of time being AFK in the battlegrounds, he is all geared in epic PVP gear. Good job Blizzard.....

Eye of the Storm was just a waste of my time. One battle we had a good group and the other 3 we had mostly Flagtards. One of the battles we lost we started out doing pretty good, people actually went for towers and we got 3, MT, FRR and DR. Then 3/4 of the team went Flagtard and it was all over. We were actually rezzing on the rock and still had over half a dozen people in the middle trying to get the flag.... There are certain times when EoS is a good battleground to fight in, tonight when I was in there was not one of those times. It seems like earlier in the day, my time, is the best time to get in there and fight. That must be when all the Flagtards are nappy. We had one good battle where people concentrated on the towers, which are what actually what win the battle, and we had a 4 cap going by the end of it.

Later: I logged back on and did a couple more AV's. We had one win and one loss. Even the loss was really close though, we had Drek down over 75% when the Horde killed Vann, it was just a matter of running out of time. Another 10-15 seconds and we would have had him. That was the first battle. The second battle we won. I didn't think we would because the only GY the Horde had was SHGY and then someone took that which had them rezzing in their cave. I figured they would all come swarming into Frostwolf Keep and wipe us out while we were taking Drek but we got him down first :).

Daily Battleground - Alterac Valley 11/9/09

I did some battlegrounds on Wranngar today. I did 4 Alterac Valley, 2 wins and 2 losses. After that I fought in 6 Eye of the Storm battles, 2 losses and 4 wins, we were doing a little better in there today. When I grabbed the daily it was AV so I was back in there. We won that one so I got my daily done.

The first AV I was in we won it easily, we got the towers, IBT, TP, EFWT, WFWT, Galv, IBGY, FWGY, the aid station and then killed Drek, it went pretty smooth. I joined right up again to get back into the same group but no such luck. The next battle I was in someone decided it would be a good idea to take and hold SHGY, that had all the Horde rezzing in front of us, and that cost us the battle as is always does. The 3rd battle was lost because of stupidity and AFK. Both were running rampant in that one. Most everyone was at Dun Baldar which was doing us no good at all, and even though most everyone was there the Horde were still capping bunkers and the relief station..... I dreaded doing AV as my daily but got in with a fairly decent group. We had a little trouble getting IBT and TP but eventually did. We would have won it on reinforcements but ended up getting enough people at Drek to take him down. There were a lot of people AFK in all the AV battles I was in. In the last one, my daily, there were 4 or 5 AFK at Drek. They figure if they make it all the way to Drek no one will report them AFK. The TuringTest AFK Reporter doesn't fall for that trick though and reports them anyway. I make sure to announce all the AFK to the battleground every 5 minutes or so and give people the opportunity to mark them AFK.

In Eye of the Storm we did really good on the ones we won and really bad on the ones we lost. For the most part we had a 3 or 4 cap going on the ones we won, we were all over the Horde. In the ones we lost we lost due to Flagtards. It makes me want to puke when there are 10 or more people at the flag and we don't even have a tower..... Then they get the flag and say "quick, someone get a tower". These are the same stupid people making the same stupid mistakes over and over again. Fortunately there were only 2 battles like that so I figure nap time must have come around as they were at the start. There were a lot of AFK in EoS today too, they are everywhere.

Later: I got back on Wrann and did some more battlegrounds. I fought in one more AV, a loss, One Isle of Conquest, a loss, and 10 Eye of the Storm, 7 wins and 3 losses.

The AV I fought in I got in late, it was already in progress and it was in sad shape. The only thing we had was SHGY and they were hanging onto that for dear life. They were concentrating on that to the point that the Horde were capping our bunkers, GY and Aid Station in Dun Baldar with no resistance. It is really sad that after all this time people still don't know how to play AV. It is even sadder still that the same stupid people will make the same stupid mistake of taking and holding SHGY in battle after battle.....

I got in late in the IoC battle too, I was only in it for about a minute and a half before it was over, the Horde had everything, including our keep, and we had nothing. There were 9 AFK in the IoC battle I was in, 1/4 of our team. Nap time was definitely over.

We did better in EoS for awhile but you could see when nap time got over, we went from owning to getting owned. We had 6 wins in a row, 3 and 4 caps, running the flag, keeping the Horde on their rock. Then we lost one, it was the beginning of the end. We went from owning to 3/4 of our team at the flag. Then we won another one, barely, I think it was the leftovers before we got flooded by the nappers, then we lost 2 in a row. And I mean LOST. In the last one I was in we were losing DR but we still had 7 people at the flag and then we got it, but by that time we had lost DR and had no where to take it..... Those are the flagtards, all they can see is the flag, they can't think, they can't reason, they can't be reasoned with, all they know is there is a flag there and they have to get it. Towards the very end of the last battle I was in one of the flagtards actually said, while we had one tower and were 900+ points behind, "Don't worry about the towers, it's all the flag now"...

All in all I did have a pretty good run today during nap time. I got a lot of kills and a lot of honor, not that I have anything to spend the honor on, I'm in it for the kills.

Blood is Thicker and Convention at the Legerdemain 11/9/09

I got on Wranngar and got my daily's done between battlegrounds. The daily cooking today was Convention at the Legerdemain and the fishing was Blood Is Thicker, a couple real easy, quick ones. I did a few battlegrounds yesterday and I think I'm hooked again.

I did the cooking first as usual. I ran to the bank and grabbed 4 Chilled Meat, to make my Northern Stew, then I was off to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran for a Jug of Wine. I found the wine upstairs today. I headed over to see Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain after that. He gave me 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag for the stew and wine. Today my Small Spice Bag had 5 Northern Spices, 3 Baby Spice and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul for this one today.

I did the fishing after that. I took the flight path to Un'upe then flew half way out to the icebergs before I remembered I was doing Blood is Thicker today. I turned around and flew inland until I found a Marsh Caribou to kill. Killing that got me covered in blood so I flew back to the shore and jumped in to wash it off and create a Blood Pool. I fished the Blood Pool until I had 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy, then headed back to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran. I gave her the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g99s95c, a Glow Worm, a Diamond-tipped Cane and 2 Runic Mana Potions in it. Not the best haul today but I have had worse. I will keep plugging away because I know there are still some good stuff to be had from this daily, like the Jeweled Fishing Pole. I wouldn't use it, it is definitely a chick pole but I want it to add to my collection.

Back to the battlegrounds.
