Sewer Stew - Daily Cooking 1/7/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Sewer Stew for us. I did this one on both Wranngar and Gomorra. This is a pretty fast easy one, and the only daily cooking you have to leave Dalaran for assuming you keep some meat on hand for the daily's.

This had me taking the Violet Gate down to Crystalsong Forest to pick Crystalsong Carrots, the stew calls for 4. I got the 4 I needed fast today. Like I said in yesterday's post, I must be hitting it at the right time because I haven't had to search for supplies for the daily cooking in awhile. Either that or I am the only one doing it lol. Once I had those I took the gate back up to Dalaran and hit the bank, this one also calls for 4 pieces of Chilled Meat. I built a fire outside the bank and cooked up my Vegetable Stew. Once I had the stew cooked I headed down to see Ajay Green at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly.

Today he gave Gomorra 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 2 Northern Spices, 3 Old Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul today.

He gave Wranngar 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 2 Northern Spices in it. Wrann didn't make out as good as Gom today but all in all not a bad haul either.

Daily Fishing - Jewel of the Sewers 1/7/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Jewel Of The Sewers for the daily fishing quest. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra. This is the only daily fishing quest you don't have to leave Dalaran to do.

This one had me heading down into the sewers to my spot in the Black Market. I have pretty good luck catching my piece of Corroded Jewelry fast. Today it took Gomorra 20 casts and Wranngar 10 to get it. I usually get it in 10 casts or less but Gomorra was out of practice :).

Once I had the Corroded Jewelry I headed back up to see Marcia. I traded the Jewelry for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Wranngar's had 8g55s82c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking, a Unusual Compass and 3 Deviate Fish. Nothing to write home about there.

Gomorra's had 10g59s95c, 5 Pygmy Oil and a Diamond-tipped Cane. Nothing to write home about there either.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 1/6/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Mustard Dogs! for the daily cooking again. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra today.

This one had me running all over Dalaran picking Wild Mustard. I don't know if everyone has stopped doing the daily cooking or if I have just been hitting them at the right time lately but I got the 4 I needed on each pretty fast, it didn't look like anyone else was doing it. Once I had all the Wild Mustard I needed I headed over to the bank to grab some Rhino Meat so I could make the Rhino Dogs which are part of the recipe. I cooked those up outside the bank at a fire I made then combined them with the Wild Mustard to make a Mustard Dog Basket!.

I took that to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing.

He gave Wranngar 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and 4 Old Spices in it.

Gomorra got 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Archmage Pentarus is pretty free with the Dalaran Cooking Awards.

Daily Fishing - Monsterbelly Appetite 1/6/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Monsterbelly Appetite for the daily fishing. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra.

This one had me heading to Un'upe in the Borean Tundra. Once I arrived at the flight point I flew out to sea in a southeasterly direction until I was at the icebergs. I looked around until I found a Deep Sea Monsterbelly school then fished it until I caught a Bloated Monsterbelly. I opened that up and got the Severed Arm from inside then headed back to Dalaran.

Back in Dalaran I went to see Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange. She is going to attempt to reunite the arm with the fisherman who lost it. She gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble.

Wranngar's had 6g94s54c, 3 Pygmy Oil, 3 Pieces of Worthless Green Glass and a Runed Stormjewel which I sent to Gomorra to socket into his next piece.

Gomorra's had 10g82s72c, 5 Pygmy Oil, 5 Solid Gold Coins and High Test Eternium Fishing Line. I have been waiting to get that line on Wranngar for awhile now, it adds +5 to fishing skill, but haven't got it yet. Now Gomorra has it on his pole and 2 in the bank...
