Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 2/21/10

Today when Brieanna went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, she had Blood Is Thicker for the daily cooking quest. This is a nice easy one but has a little travel time. I didn't mind before because I could do my daily's for The Kalu'ak while I was there but I am exalted with them now and have my Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole so I stopped doing them. They only pay out a total of 17 gold a day.

Anyway, this had me taking the flight path to Unu'pe in the Borean Tundra. Once I landed there I flew straight inland until I found a Marsh Caribou to kill. Killing one of the animals the Druids protect gets you covered in blood which is part of the quest. Covered in blood I flew back to the shore and jumped in to create a blood pool. I fished in that until I caught the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy I needed.

I flew back to Dalaran and handed over the Bloodtooth Frenzy to Marcia in exchange for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today it had 8g94s50c, 3 Pygmy Oil, a Tower Key which I sold to a vendor for 16g66s66c, and 4 Deviate Fish. Not a bad haul today with the Tower Key.

Convention at the Legerdemain - Daily Cooking 2/21/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Convention at the Legerdemain for the daily cooking quest. I did it on Brieanna only today.

This had me heading over to the bank to grab some Chilled Meat to make the 4 Northern Stew I needed, then over to One More Glass for a Jug of Wine. Once I had everything I needed I headed over to see Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain. I gave him the Stew and Wine in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad haul today.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 2/20/10

Today when Brieanna went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she gave her Mustard Dogs! for her daily cooking quest. This is a nice easy one although I think the Wild Mustard is kind of hard to target.

This one had me running around Dalaran looking for Wild Mustard. You can find it in all the grassy areas of Dalaran and don't forget to look in the courtyard behind A Hero's Welcome, I usually get at least 2 there. Once I had the 4 Wild Mustard I needed I headed over to the bank to grab some Rhino Meat to make the Rhino Dogs. I always keep a bunch of meat on hand for the daily's, no need to go farm it every day. I built a fire and cooked the Rhino Dogs then combined them with the Wild Mustard to make a Mustard Dog Basket!.

I took the Mustard Dog Basket! over to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing and exchanged it for 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 2 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. That is enough rewards from that one quest to buy another recipe which I did.

Daily Fishing - Dangerously Delicious 2/20/10

Today when Brieanna went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, she gave her Dangerously Delicious. I had never done this one on Brieanna before. This is the one where you have to go into Wintergrasp, the combat zone, and catch 10 Terrorfish. Completing this one gave me the achievement Chasing Marcia.

This one had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Wintergrasp. Once there I went over to the lake right next to the flight point and started fishing. It only took me about 5 minutes to catch my 10 Terrorfish and I was out of there. I didn't see any Horde while I was there which is good. Sometimes 8 or 10 of them like to get together and attack people fishing. I flew back to Dalaran and turned the Terrorfish over to Marcia in exchange for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g80s44c, 3 Pygmy Oil, 2 Crafted Star, 4 Deviate Fish and a Waterlogged Recipe. Waterlogged Recipe starts a quest. The quest is to deliver the recipe to Christi Stockton, the wine vendor at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran. She gives you 13g23s and 5 Dalaran Cooking Awards for it. Not a bad deal.
