Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 3/29/10

Today when I went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, I got Blood Is Thicker for the daily fishing. I did this one on Gomorra and Brieanna.

This had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Unu'pe in the Borean Tundra. Once there I flew straight inland until I spotted a Marsh Caribou. I quickly killed that which got me covered in blood. They seem to have fixed the glitch that was going on with this daily, you now don't need to just about beat it to death with your bare hands to get covered in blood. Covered in blood I flew back to the shore and jumped in, creating a blood pool. I fished in the blood pool until I caught 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy which was only 2 catches as you get 2 or 3 in a catch.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Marcia and traded her the Bloodtooth Frenzy for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g67s10c, a Glow Worm and a Velociraptor Skull in it. Not a good day of fishing for Gom.

Brieanna's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 8g67s67c, 5 Pygmy Oil and 5 Solid Gold Coins in it. She made out better than Gom but not by much.

Sewer Stew - Daily Cooking 3/29/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had sewer stew for the daily cooking quest. I did it on both Gomorra and Brieanna.

This had me taking the Violet Gate down to Crystalsong Forest, then heading over to the ruins directly beneath Dalaran to pick Crystalsong Carrots. There was no one there again today so the picking went pretty quick, as fast as I could run around and pick them. Once I had the 4 I needed I headed back up to Dalaran, though the Violet Gate, and hit the bank for 4 pieces of Chilled Meat. I built a fire and cooked my stew right there in the bank.

With stew in hand I headed down into the sewers to see Ajay Green at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly, where I exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. I recently changed my heartstone from Cantrips and Crows Tavern to A Hero's Welcome because I saw no reason to hearth into the sewer then run up top every time, it was just wasted time.

Today Brieanna's Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices, 4 Old Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it. Not a bad haul for Brieanna today.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. He didn't make out as well today.

Daily Fishing - Jewel of the Sewers 3/27/10

Today when I went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, she had Jewel Of The Sewers for me. I like this one because you don't have to leave Dalaran to complete it, no time wasted traveling. I did this on both Gomorra and Brieanna today.

I headed down into the sewers to my spot at the Black Market and started fishing for the piece of Corroded Jewelry I was after. I always fish in the Black Market, there is never anyone else there when I am. If you have ever fished in WoW you know that the bobber makes a noise when it bobs. If you get too many people fishing close together it can get confusing, that's why I like my spot in the Black Market. It didn't take me long to get the piece of Corroded Jewerly and I was on my way back to see Marcia.

I traded her the piece of Corroded Jewelry for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 6g85s81c, 5 Pygmy Oil and a Worthless Piece of White Glass in it. Not a great haul for Gom.

Brieanna's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 8g71s98c, 3 Elixirs of Water Walking, 3 Solid Gold Coins and 4 Deviate Fish in it. She didn't make out much better today.

Convention at the Legerdemain - Daily Cooking 3/27/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Convention at the Legerdemain for me. This is a fast, easy one that uses a lot of my mats. I did this one on Gomorra and Brieanna today.

This first thing I did, after I picked up this quest, was run over to the bank to grab 4 pieces of Chilled Meat to make the 4 Northern Stew I needed. I built a fire and cooked that up right in the bank. From there I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran, for a Jug of Wine. I found that pretty quick today on both.

After that all I had to do was run across the street to see Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain, and exchange the wine and stew for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag.

Today Brieanna's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices and 3 Old Spices in it. That was an Ok haul for her today.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. He made out a little better than Brieanna did today.

Kalu'ak Fishing Dreby 3/26/10

I entered the Kalu'ak Fishing Derby today on Wranngar. I should have done it on Brieanna, she has a lot better luck fishing.

This time I figured I would save some travel time and fish for the Blacktip Shark in Crystalsong Forest instead of going all the way to Sholazar Basin. I started out close to 10 minutes late, I just happened to hearth to Dalaran and saw the fishing promoter standing there. I fished for a full 50 minutes and didn't catch a Blacktip Shark.

The last time I entered, about a month ago on Brieanna, I got a Blacktip Shark after fishing for about 45 minutes in Sholazar Basin, maybe I should have headed there again. You can catch a Blacktip Shark anywhere you catch Pygmy Suckerfish, and I caught about 30 in Crystalsong Forest today so I know it is possible to catch one there. Even if you are not the first one to hand in a Blacktip Shark, you still get a consolation prize of a Bag of Fishing Treasures. That would have been fine by me but I didn't even get that today.

I will have to set up some kind of an alarm for the future so I don't miss this again, I would like to win this one or at least get the consolation prize again lol.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 3/26/10

Today when I went to see what Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had for me I ended up with Blood Is Thicker. I did this one on both Wranngar and Brieanna today.

This had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Unu'pe in the Borean Tundra. Once there I flew straight inland until I found some Marsh Caribou. This quest requires that you get covered in blood and killing any of the animals the Druids protect will do that. I killed one and got covered in blood then headed back to shore where I jumped in, washing the blood off and creating a blood pool. I fished in the blood pool until I caught 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy, that is what this quest is looking for.

Once I had my 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy I headed back to Dalaran and went to see Marcia. I traded her the Bloodtooth Frenzy for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g28s71c, 4 Pygmy Oil, 2 Worthless Pieces of Orange Glass and 2 Deviate Fish in it. Hardly worth the trip to Unu'pe.

Brieanna's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g24s35c, 4 Pygmy Oil, 5 Solid Gold Coins and 2 Runic Mana Potions in it. She made out a little better than Wrann but not by much.

Cheese for Glowergold - Daily Cooking 3/26/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Cheese for Glowergold for the daily cooking quest. Today I did it on Wranngar and Brieanna.

This is a pretty easy one, although I find the Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses a little hard to target. I got quite a few of them before I even left A Hero's Welcome today. I got the others between Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly and One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop. I also picked up the piece of Aged Dalaran Limburger I needed while I was at One More Glass. Once I had all the Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses and the cheese I combined them on the platter to make a wine and cheese platter.

I took that over to Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 2 Northern Spices and 4 Baby Spice in it. Nothing to write home about there.

Brieanna's Small Spice Bag had 5 Northern Spices in it. She made out a little better than Wrann did today.

Disarmed

I got the new daily fishing quest when I went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran today. This is actually a new version of an old daily, Disarmed is replacing Monsterbelly Appetite.

The story behind this is, a guard at the Dalaran Prison, better know as Violet Hold, had his arm ripped off by an unruly inmate and tossed into the water outside the prison gate. You need to fish up that arm. You want to fish right across from the entrance to the Violet Hold Instance (65,60). There is a little 'dock' there you can fish from. What you are looking to catch is a Bloated Slippery Eel. This is very similar to Monsterbelly Appetite in you have to open the Bloated Slippery Eel to find the Severed Arm inside. Once you have the Severed Arm you take it to Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange, where she is going to attempt to reunite it with the guard. You get the usual reward of a Bag of Fishing Treasures which can have any number of great things inside or, possibly, just junk.

All in all I think this is a great improvement over Monsterbelly Appetite as there is no travel time involved. You get the quest from Marcia, run just about next door to where she is standing, and fish for your Bloated Slippery Eel. It couldn't be easier or faster.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 3/24/10

Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome had Mustard Dogs! for Brieanna today.

As usual this had me running to all the grassy areas in Dalaran looking for Wild Mustard. I got my first two pieces in the courtyard out behind A Hero's Welcome as usual. I got the other two out and about town. I noticed the mini map now shows you the locations of Wild Mustard like they were a mineral or herb node too, I think that is new in this last patch, I never noticed it before. It didn't take me long to get the 4 Wild Mustard I needed and I was off to the bank to grab 4 pieces of Rhino Meat for the 4 Rhino Dogs. I cooked up the Rhino Dogs and combined them with the Wild Mustard to make a Mustard Dog Basket!.

I took the Mustard Dog Basket and went to see Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing where I traded him for 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices, 3 Old Spices, 5 Baby Spice and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it, a full bag today.

Daily Fishing - Jewel of the Sewers 3/23/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Jewel Of The Sewers for Brieanna. This is a nice easy one and the only daily fishing quest you don't have to leave Dalaran to complete.

This had me running down to the Black Market in the sewers below Dalaran. Once there I went to my spot and got down to fishing. My random daily heroic dungeon popped while I was fishing, so I left to do that, but I still think it was under 10 casts by the time I got the piece of Corroded Jewelry I was after.

I took that back up to Marcia and traded her for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g62s10c, 3 Elixirs of Water Walking and an Unusual Compass in it, about the usual return on this one. There are some great items to get from this daily and I have gotten quite a few of them, but there are still some I haven't gotten yet so I keep plugging away at it in hopes of the good stuff.

Sewer Stew - Daily Cooking 3/23/10

Today when Brieanna went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, for the daily cooking, she got Sewer Stew. This is a nice easy one and it is the only one you have to leave Dalaran for.

This had me taking the Violet Gate down to Crystalsong Forest to pick the Crystalsong Carrots this recipe calls for. I needed 4 and it didn't take me long at all to get them. Once I had the 4 I needed I took the gate back up to Dalaran and headed over to the bank to grab 4 pieces of Chilled Meat for the rest of the recipe. I built a fire and cooked up my stew then headed down to see Ajay Green at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly. I exchanged the stew for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 2 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a great haul today, but not too bad.

Breeonna 3/22/10

The past couple days I have been working on getting Breeonna leveled up. That is going really well, I leveled her up 8 levels in 2 days, from 18 to 26.

I have been doing quests, yellow, orange and red ones only, I drop them if they turn green. That ensures me maximum experience gains from each quest I do. I have also been doing dungeons on her. Today I ended up in Wailing Caverns for the random daily. That wasn't too bad, I had done that one before on Wranngar, the only problem was our tank had a Gear Score (GS) of 5... Gear Score is used to determine the quality of a persons gear. 5 is not good. To give you an example Breeonna, at level 26, has a Gear Score of 800. Our tank was wearing gray and white gear, some of it was the stuff you are born with. Needless to say we didn't get that random done. I have also done Deadmines, Shadowfang Keep and Stockades, all of those went well. I did Shadowfang Keep twice yesterday.

I am now going to be questing in Duskwood before moving on to Stranglethorn Vale.

Daily Fishing - Monsterbelly Appetite 3/19/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Monsterbelly Appetite for Brieanna. It's been a little while since this one has come into the rotation.

This had me flying to Unu'pe, then out to sea, to the icebergs you can see from shore. I guess you could swim out there if you had to. I flew around until I found a school of Deep Sea Monsterbelly to fish from. I got my Bloated Monsterbelly on the first cast and cut it open to get the Severed Arm I was after.

I hearthed back and went to see Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange in Dalaran. This is the only daily fishing quest that does not get handed back in to Marcia. I gave her the Severed Arm and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g79s17c, 3 Elixirs of Water Walking and a Sealed Vial of Poison in it.

Sealed Vial of Poison starts a quest. The quest is simply to bring the Sealed Vial of Poison to Alchemist Cinesra in the Black Market, located in the sewers below Dalaran. He gives you 13g23s and it only takes about 30 seconds, not a bad deal.

Convention at the Legerdemain - Daily Cooking 3/19/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Convention at the Legerdemain for Brieanna.

This had me running over to the bank to grab some Chilled Meat to make the 4 Northern Stew I needed, then it was off to One More Glass for the Jug of Wine. I found the Jug of Wine outside today, quick and easy. I headed across the road to see Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain where I exchanged the wine and stew for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it. An ok haul on this one today.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 3/18/10

When Brieanna went to see what Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had for her she ended up with Blood Is Thicker.

This had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Unu'pe in the Borean Tundra. Once there I flew inland until I found a Marsh Caribou to kill. Killing that gets me covered in blood which is part of this quest. You can kill any animal the Druids protect, I just always kill a Marsh Caribou because it is closest to the flight point in Unu'pe. Once I was covered in blood I flew back over to the shore and jumped in the water. This washes the blood off me and also creates a blood pool which I need to fish for the Bloodtooth Frenzy this quest calls for. The fishing takes no time at all, you fish in the blood pool until you catch 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy. That goes really quick as you catch them 2 or 3 at a time.

I hearthed back to Dalaran when I had the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy I needed and went to see Marcia. I turned the fish over to her and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my efforts. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g92s47c, a Glow Worm, 3 Worthless Pieces of Violet Glass, and 2 Deviate Fish in it. I have had better days of fishing.

Infused Mushroom Meatloaf - Daily Cooking 3/18/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Infused Mushroom Meatloaf for Brieanna. This is a quick one, really only takes a few minutes.

This had me running down to the sewers below Dalaran in search of Infused Mushrooms, the recipe calls for 4. I got the 4 I needed in no time, there didn't seem to be anyone else doing it at the time. I headed back up to the bank and grabbed the 2 pieces of Chilled Meat to complete the recipe. With all the ingredients in hand, I built a fire right there in the bank and cooked my meatloaf.

I took the meatloaf over to Orton Bennet, upstairs at Curiosities and Moore, which is right across the plaza from the bank, and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices and 3 Old Spices in it. Not a bad return on this one today.

Culling of Stratholme (Heroic Dungeon)

I have been doing a lot of Random Heroic Dungeons on Brieanna lately. I have gotten a couple nice pieces of gear from drops and some more gear with the Emblems of Triumph I get doing the random heroics along with the ones you get for each boss you kill in a heroic dungeon. You get 2 Emblem of Frost and 26g46s for the first random heroic dungeon you do each day, then you get 2 Emblem of Triumph and 13g23s for each one after that. You also get 2 Emblem of Triumph and 19g86s for the first random normal dungeon you do each day but after that you only get a gold reward for doing more random normal dungeons.

I started off picking the normal dungeons I would do from the list then queuing in the dungeon group finder, for that specific dungeon, to find the rest of my group. That find group function selects people that also want to do that dungeon from your realm and other realms. So the majority, if not all, of the groups you are in are with people you have never met before. Usually it is a good experience, sometimes it is not. There are people that quit if they don't like the way things are going. People who will only go as far as a certain boss because they are only interested in what they drop, then just leave group after that. That creates a problem as it leaves you short a person. You have to re-queue in the dungeon group finder to replace them. Sometimes, if you are on last boss, you can just go ahead without them if the rest of the group is good.

Anyway enough about that. One of the random heroic dungeons I did was Culling of Stratholme. I found this one to be very interesting as it brings you to Stratholme when it was in it's prime. The Stratholme I was used to was the one we used to do back before Burning Crusades came out. That place is a mess. In Culling of Stratholme you see how it was and learn why it is like it is now. I was leery of doing this one at first because I thought it was going to be the Strathlome I knew. Once I did it, it turned out to be one of, what I think is, the more interesting dungeons.

Culling of Stratholme is a 5 person, level 80 dungeon centered around helping Prince Arthas Menethil purge the city of Stratholme from the grain infected populace. At the end of the dungeon the players fight and defeat the Dreadlord Mal'Ganis.

There are other mobs you fight along the way, one of which is the Infinite Corruptor (Heroic only). The Infinite Corrputor drops the Reins of the Bronze Drake if you complete the timed part of this dungeon before the time is up. It is a static drop, meaning he drops it every time. I got this drop on my first run through. Everyone else in my group already had it and passed. I was pretty happy to get it, it is my first Drake mount. I have run this a few times now and it never gets old. It is a very simple and easy dungeon to run on heroic.

Convention at the Legerdemain - Daily Cooking 3/15/10

Today when Brieanna went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, for the daily cooking quest, she ended up with Convention at the Legerdemain. Not a hard one, just uses a lot of my mats.

This had me running over to the bank to grab 4 pieces of Chilled Meat to cook up the 4 Northern Stew I needed, then running over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran, for a Jug of Wine. I found the wine upstairs as soon as I got there.

I took the wine and cheese over to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain. The Legerdemain is right across the road from One More Glass so that was quick. I exchanged the wine and stew for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 5 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad haul today.

Heroic Oculus (Dungeon)

Brieanna did the Oculus for the first time today on heroic mode. It being her first time in there I would have rather done it on normal first, knowing what I know now. To sum it up in one sentence, what a nightmare.

Being my first time in there I had no idea what to do. It all seemed pretty simple until it came time to call the drakes and mount them. That part went ok, but what next? I really have to give a hand to the people that do these instances for the first time and figure all this stuff out.

It turns out we had to ride the drakes, use them to kill some other drakes that were guarding platforms, then kill the Centrifuge Construct's that were guarding the bosses on these platforms. We killed Drakos the Interrogator, Varos Cloudstrider and Mage-Lord Urom without a problem and here I am thinking "this isn't too bad". Then we came to the last boss, Ley-Guardian Eregos. I lost track of how many times we died on him and how many people quit before it was over. I remember thinking this is impossible. We finally got him down though and it was over. I got the achievement and hopefully will never have to go in there again.

I didn't get any loot worth mentioning in there so basically all I got out of it, besides the achievement, was a 46 gold repair bill. It was a learning experience though and if I ever end up in there again, and it is a good possibility I will because of the random daily heroic's, I will have a better idea of what needs to be done and how we finally did it. In the end we had one red drake, one green drake and 3 amber drakes to take down Eregos.

Sewer Stew - Daily Cooking 3/14/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Sewer Stew for Brieanna. This is the only daily you have to leave Dalaran to complete, assuming you have some meat on hand for the daily's. As I always keep plenty of meat on hand for my daily's I only had to leave to get the Crystalsong Carrots this recipe calls for.

This had me taking the Violet Gate down to Crystalsong Forest. When I got there I flew over until I was at the ruins directly below Dalaran. I got my 4 Crystalsong Carrots pretty quick today, there was no one else doing it at the time. I took the gate back up to Dalaran and headed over to the bank to grab 4 pieces of Chilled Meat to complete the ingredients for my stew. I built a fire and cooked up my Vegetable Stew.

I took the Vegetable Stew down and delivered it to Ajay Green at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it. An ok haul for today considering I had to leave Dalaran to complete it.

Daily Fishing - Jewel of the Sewers 3/13/10

Today when Brieanna went to see what Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had for the daily fishing quest she got Jewel Of The Sewers. This is an easy one and the only daily fishing quest you don't have to leave Dalaran for.

This had me heading down to my spot at The Black Market. I always have good luck there and there is never anyone around. Today it only took Brieanna 6 casts to get the piece of Corroded Jewelry she was after. I got the usual other stuff too, drowned rat, empty vials, weeds, and so on.

I took the piece of Corroded Jewelry back up to Marcia and traded it for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today it had 8g63s70c, 3 Pygmy Oil, 3 Worthless Pieces of Green Glass, 2 Deviate Fish, High Test Eternium Fishing Line, that adds +5 to your fishing skill which I have been hoping to get for a while now, and a Waterlogged Recipe in it.

I love getting a Waterlogged Recipe, it starts a quest. The quest is to take it over and deliver it to Christi Stockton, the wine vendor at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran. She gives you 13g23s and 5 Dalaran Cooking Awards for it. This quest takes less than a minute from the time you accept it until you are counting your cooking awards. Not a bad deal at all. All in all a great day of fishing today, it has been a good week of fishing for Brieanna.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 3/13/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Mustard Dogs! for Brieanna's daily cooking quest. A nice simple one I don't have to leave Dalaran for.

This had me running around the grassy areas of Dalaran picking Wild Mustard. I got the first 2 I needed in the courtyard behind A Hero's Welcome, and the other 2 around the city. Once I had the 4 Wild Mustard I needed I headed over to the bank and grabbed 4 pieces of Rhino Meat to make the Rhino Dogs I needed. I built a fire in the bank and cooked them up right there. I then combined the Rhino Dogs with the Wild Mustard in the Empty Picnic Basket to make a Mustard Dog Basket!.

I took the Mustard Dog Basket and headed over to see Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing. For those of you not familiar where that is, it is where the flight master is located in Dalaran. I exchanged the Mustard Dog Basket for 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices, 5 Old Spices and 4 Baby Spice in it. Not a bad haul today.

Heroic Gundrak (Dungeon)

I did the heroic daily dungeon on Brieanna today which turned out to be Gundrak.

Gundrak (also known as Gun'Drak) is the capital of the ice troll nation of Zul'Drak in eastern Northrend. The Drakkari tribe rule Zul'Drak from here, constantly battling the mighty forces of the Scourge.

Gundrak is an instance which contains the final boss for the ice trolls. This instance will show the Ice Trolls in all their glory, and teach us why they have been so successful against the Scourge. The story that emerges in the completely constructed zone, Zul'Drak, and the instance at the end of that zone, Gundrak, is that the trolls worship various animal Gods, like the rest of the troll races. They have began sacrificing to these gods to give them the power to fight the Scourge. The whole zone is recognizable as Troll, but with a twist to it that is true to the ice troll culture.

I did this with 4 other people I grouped with from my server, which meant we only had one person from the dungeon finder in our group. It went pretty smooth, it was a really fast run. We did all the bosses so I could get the achievement for it.

The bosses we took down are:

There are two entrances to Gundrak, one to the north and one to the south. The northern entrance has the summoning stone outside. The first boss you will have to fight when going in through the north is Slad’ran. If you go in through the southern entrance, the first boss you will fight is Moorabi, the mammoth boss. Each entrance will take you down to the main circle. There are three bosses around the main circle, each one representing an aspect. There are roughly 2-4 pulls between bosses. Once you kill all three bosses and activate their altars, a bridge will swing into place in the middle of the circle (behind Drakkari the Colossus), allowing you to pass over the central altar. After fighting a few trash mobs, you meet Gal'darah, a rhino aspect, and the presumed leader of Gundrak. You can get to the center circle by jumping into the water and swimming to the stair case or using the stairs behind Drakkari. The fish in the water will attack you but will not follow you onto the land. Some of the mobs do an AoE knock back, so be careful when fighting near ledges.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 3/12/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Blood Is Thicker for Brieanna again.

This had me flying over to Unu'pe, then heading inland until I found a Marsh Caribou to kill so I could get covered in blood. Once I was good and covered in blood I headed back to shore and jumped in. That does two things, it washes the blood off me and creates a blood pool. I need the blood pool to fish for the Bloodtooth Frenzy this quest is looking for. I need 5. It didn't take me very long to catch them, you get them 2 or 3 at a time so it goes pretty quick.

Once I had the 5 I needed I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Marcia. I traded the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy for a Bag of Fishing Treasures which today had 7g43s82c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking, 3 Solid Gold Coins and 2 Deviate Fish in it. I have had better days of fishing but am still ahead for the week after getting the Jeweled Fishing Pole the other day.
