Battlegrounds 7/30/08

I only did battlegrounds today. I did them on Wranngar. I did 14 battles in AV, 8 wins, 6 losses. AV was the daily battleground today too, I got that out of the way on the second battle. Jacedic fought in a couple of them with me, I think we had two wins and one loss while he was there. The Alliance wasn't doing too bad overall but the AFK's are killing us. We had a couple battles where almost half our team was AFK, Blizzard needs to do something about this problem instead of just saying they are doing something about it. It is hard to believe they are doing anything about it when you see the same people AFK day after day, week after week, it is sad. For the most part the strat that seemed to be working today was rush FWGY then move forward and backwards and cap towers and GY's. The strat that continues not to work is take and hold SHGY, we lost a couple due to that and a couple more due to people going for Galv first. We won one battle on reinforcements and the rest killing Drek so I got some pretty good honor out of it. We only had a couple battles, one was where almost half the team was AFK, where we didn't get any towers and almost no honor. The Horde won most of their battles on reinforcements as they usually do, that is due to AV still being unbalanced even after Blizzard "fixed" it. Anyway I got some good honor and a lot of kills along with the 11g99s and Alterac Valley Mark's of Honor which I have to let expire in my mailbox because I can't carry anymore.

Yonezoe 5/30/08

I helped out Yonezoe with Wranngar in Hellfire Peninsula today, we were at it most of the day. Jacedic helped for awhile too. She was able to level up to 60 today :). I think I was as happy about that as she was because now I can put my level 40 mount away and start riding one of my epic mounts again :). I was riding my Black War Elekk most of the day. She got a Great Green Elekk for a mount. We did a lot of quests and also did Ramparts, which is an instance, with Jacedic, Stalleris and one of Totomoyo's alt's, a 70 Rogue. It was a very smooth run with 3 70's. I think tomorrow we will be heading to Zangarmarsh to quest which is good with me, I need rep with that faction.

Scholomance 5/29/08

I helped out Beanaste today in Scholomance on Wranngar. We had a couple more friends there too, Totomoyo and Jacedic. Beanaste was after pieces of the Dreadmist set. I had the belt to the set in the bank and I don't even remember when I got it but it had to have been from Scholomance or Stratholme because that is the only 2 places it drops. We had a pretty good time and he ended up getting the gloves to go with the belt.

Daily Battleground 5/24/08

The daily battleground today was Arathi Basin. It was also Arathi Basin's holiday weekend which made it a lot harder. All the weekend warriors were out in full force. There was, of course, a lot of AFK and people that only do battlegrounds on the holiday weekends for the extra honor. I was in 3 battles and it was pretty bad. I did it on Wranngar and Jacedic was in both of them with me and Axeelina was in the second one. I ended up deserting out of the second battle because I got so aggravated by the poor performance of most of the players. I went back in a few hours later and we won that one. I think it is the last time I will do the daily battleground on it's holiday weekend. The daily battleground pays 11g99s and 419 honor, not worth the aggravation of doing it on a holiday weekend.

Daily Battleground 5/16/08

The daily battleground today was Alterac Valley. I did one on Wranngar with Jacedic. The Alliance was in really sad form, it was worse than an AV weekend with the exception there were not as many AFK not that I think it would have made much of a difference. We rushed and claimed FWGY then everyone moved forward to FWRH and the towers. Needless to say the Horde came through and took FWGY back then moved in and took back the towers and relief hut. Nothing new there, that is becoming standard procedure. We ended up turtling in DB but the quality of players was so bad that the Horde took the bunkers anyway. The few people that were trying and actually had a clue what they were doing were not enough to hold them off. I called it a day after that, I will try again tomorrow afternoon when the quality of players seems to be better. Needless to say I didn't get my daily done.

Daily Battleground 5/14/08

The daily battleground today was Alterac Valley. I did it on Wranngar with Jacedic. We lost the first one we were in but we won the second. In the first one we actually weren't doing too bad, we had FWRH capped along with 2 of the towers and the other 2 were clocking. Then the Horde killed Vann and it was over. In the second battle we did pretty much the same strat as the first but this time we held FWGY and saved valuable time not having to get it back. We capped the towers and downed Drek before Vann even started to scream. We did not get Galv in either of the battles. The daily battleground pays 11g99s and 419 honor.

Daily's 5/5/08

I did all my daily's on Wranngar today. Axeelina did a lot of the Outlands ones with me. We helped Jacedic with a couple things in Shadowmoon Valley. Jacedic hit level 70 today :). It is quite an accomplishment. I guess starting tomorrow he will be doing the daily's with us. I did all my Shattered Sun daily's on Gomorra. The daily battleground today was Warsong Gulch. I did it on Wranngar and it took me 4 battles before I got a win. Wasn't liking WSG today. All together I made a little over 400g.

Wranngar 4/23/08

I helped out a friend of mine Dragoss today with Wranngar. He had some quests in STV to get done. We did 5 or 6 quests and got them out of the way. Then I logged over to Gomorra and gave another friend, Jacedic, a hand in Terokkar Forest with a couple quests. I will log back on a little later and either do the daily's on Wranngar or some battlegrounds. Maybe both.

Dreadsteed 4/16/08

We went and got Jacedic his Dreadsteed tonight. We had a group of 5, there was me on Gomorra, Axeelina, another Warrior Oneilly, Jacedic and another Warlock Jarh. Three Warlocks, some major DPS :). All the Warlocks were Demon spec so we all had Felguards. It was the smoothest Dreadsteed run I have ever done :). We went in and disabled the 5 pylons to drop the shield around Immol'thar, then killed him and set up the circle. I had to keep the 3 elements going while helping to fight all the demons that come into the circle and there are a lot of them. It seems like it goes on for hours but it can't be any more than 10 minutes, I am not sure, I have never timed it. Once we had the portal complete we got patched up and summoned the Dreadsteed. While you are fighting the Dreadsteed (You have to kill it when it comes through) a Dreadguard (The Dreadsteeds Master) also comes through and you have to kill him too. I can not believe we not only did not wipe during setting up the circle we did not even have a death. Once the Dreadsteed and Dreadguard were dead Jacedic talked to the Dreadsteeds spirit and got his mount :). This whole quest takes place in Dire Maul West, an instance on Kalimdor. Once again it was the smoothest run I ever had.
