Lately...

Lately I have been working on getting Breeonna geared. I have her gearscore up to 4.5K now and still need about 225 more Emblem of Triumph to go as far as I can with Triumph. That would be my 2 Trinkets, new chest and one of the 245 pieces. I am only going to get 1 of the 245 pieces because I don't want to lose the 4 set bonus I am getting on the 232 set I have.

I have also been doing daily's on Breeonna, Brieanna and Brieonna, mostly the cooking, fishing and daily heroic dungeon. I can't do the daily cooking or fishing on Breeonna yet but I have been doing the The Sons of Hodir and Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's on her since I finished the prereque quest line for each.

Our guild doesn't look like it is going to be raiding, at least not the morning slot during the week, which is my night, so I am either going to have to give up on raiding or find another guild. I really don't want to find another guild because I like this one so hopefully something will work out with the raiding. Raiding is the only way I am going to get the better gear I want.

More Random Heroic Dungeons 6/13/10

I have been doing random heroic dungeons on Breeonna to get Emblems of Triumph for gear as well as any good drops I might come across. I have gotten a few good drops as well as some pieces using my emblems.

For a while my DPS was all over the place but in the last couple days it has evened out. Lately I have been able to maintain around 3K DPS in most of the randoms I have been in and it is slowing climbing as I get more gear.

I did The Sons of Hodir quest line so I can start doing their daily's. Now that I am 80 I need to raise enough gold to get 300 riding skill on both Breeonna and Brieonna. That is going to cost me 10,000 gold total. I have my work cut out for me. I also need to work on my Mining skill on Breeonna and my Enchanting skill on Brieonna.

Breeonna - Level 68 Elemental Shaman

I did my random daily heroic on Brieonna, and a few more random heroics, and was able to upgrade my shoulders from the 232 to the 245 shoulders tonight.

Then I decided to work on Breeonna, it is time I finished her off and got her to 80. It has been about a month since I did anything on her, I was busy working on Brieonna getting her to level 80. I did some questing in Terokkar Forest and Nagrand, along with a few random dungeons including the daily random dungeon, and was able to level her up two levels to level 68. She is now ready to go to Northrend. I will have to do a few daily's first to get some gold together and buy the Tome of Cold Weather Flight so she can fly as soon as she gets to Northrend, it just makes questing and leveling so much faster when you can fly right from the start.

I will do my daily's on Wranngar, Gomorra and Brieanna tomorrow and maybe start the Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's on Brieonna. With the 4 of them I should be able to make all the gold I need in one day. If not it will give Breeonna another day to accumulate rested XP.

The Kalu'ak Daily Quests 2/9/10

I did the daily quests for The Kalu'ak on Brieanna today. There are 3 of them and they each take me about 5 minutes to do.

The first one I do is Preparing for the Worst in Borean Tundra. For this one I just have to run around and collect 8 crates of supplies and turn them in. This one is worth 500 reputation for me and 5 gold. Pretty simple and it sometimes it corresponds with the daily fishing when it is in Unu'pe.

The next one I do is Planning for the Future. I have kind of mixed feelings about this one. For this one I have to collect 12 Snowfall Glade Pups and deliver them to Trapper Mau'i at Moa'ki Harbor. The way I do this is I go into their village, kill the parents and steal the pups. Not sure if that is right or not, but it is worth 500 rep and 5 gold.

The last one I do for them is The Way to His Heart.... For this one I have to net some Tasty Reef Fish, it takes me 7 although the quest says to get about a dozen, and then lure a bull cow over to a sea cow so they can find true love. Just call me cupid. This one is worth 7g10s and 500 rep.

So basically I am getting around 17 gold and 1500 rep a day doing these.

Daily Cooking and Fishing Quests 2/9/10

There is really nothing new to say here, the daily fishing and cooking in both Shattrath and Dalaran were the same as they were yesterday. Apparently after the shutdown, extended 4 hours, Blizzard didn't even take the time to reset the daily's... I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings...

I got the usual stuff form all these daily's nothing exciting.

Knights of the Ebon Blade and Sons of Hodir Daily Quests 2/8/10

I did my daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade and The Sons of Hodir again today, I am starting to get burned out on daily's. I will be able to get Brieanna her 300 riding skill tomorrow along with a swift flying mount so it is all worthwhile though. It is costing me 5,095 gold for 300 riding skill and the swift flying mount. I did these daily's on both Wranngar and Gomorra today.

I did the Knights of the Ebon Blade first like I always do. This had me heading out to the Shadow Vault to pick up Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire! and Shoot 'Em Up, then over to Death's Rise to get From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and Intelligence Gathering. These take me about 20 minutes from the time I first land there until I am flying out again. I make between 66g15s to 79g38s on each depending on whether or not I turn in Intelligence Gathering. I also make about 10-15 gold each on drops I get doing these. The Documents you need to collect for Intelligence Gathering have a very poor drop rate so I usually only end up handing that one in once a week or so.

From there I was off to do my daily's for The Sons of Hodir. The ones I do for them are Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. These also take me about 20 minutes on each from the time I land until I am flying out again. I make 66g15s on each from these plus whatever drops I get which usually run about 10-15 gold each.

The Kalu'ak Daily's 2/8/10

I have been doing the daily's for The Kalu'ak the last few days on Brieanna so I can get her reputation to exalted with them and buy the Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole. I am about 1/3 of the way through revered now so I need to do the daily's for a while to get exalted. I got a nice new fishing pole for her today from the daily fishing quest in Dalaran, a Bone Fishing Pole, with +30 to fishing skill, but I really like the look of the Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole and want that too.

The ones I do for The Kalu'ak are Preparing for the Worst, Planning for the Future and The Way to His Heart.... I also had to do a bunch of other quests to get my reputation to where it is now, they got me to revered.

Knights of the Ebon Blade and Sons of Hodir Daily Quests 2/6/10

I did the daily quests for the The Sons of Hodir and the Knights of the Ebon Blade on Wranngar and Gomorra for the past 2 days. I need to get some gold together to get Brieanna her 300 riding skill. You don't make much gold doing nothing but battlegrounds and that is all I have been doing lately.

For the Knights of the Ebon Blade I do Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire! and Shoot 'Em Up, which I pick up at the Shadow Vault, and From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and Intelligence Gathering which I pick up at Death's Rise. I don't turn in Intelligence Gathering every day because there is a very poor drop rate on the documents you need, I just collect them as I get them and turn it in once a week or so. These take me about 20 minutes and make me around 66 gold a day plus drops per character.

For the Sons of Hodir I do Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. These also take me about 20 minutes and I make around 66 gold plus drops on each character.

Daily Cooking and Fishing 1/30/10

It's been a pretty couple busy days for me, I have been leveling my Hunter Brieanna so I am going to summarize the cooking and fishing for the last couple days. Nothing exciting to tell on these anyway.

On the 30th the daily cooking was Cheese for Glowergold. I did this on Wranngar and Gomorra and as usual I had to run all over Dalaran getting Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses and finishing up with getting the piece of Aged Dalaran Limburger in the wine and cheese shop. I delivered those to Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange and got the usual rewards. nothing special. I didn't do the daily cooking on the 31st, I just never got around to it.

The daily fishing on the 30th was The Ghostfish. I also did this on both Wranngar and Gomorra. This went pretty quickly as it usually does with the exception of the travel time. It takes a little while to fly from Dalaran out to Sholazar Basin. I got the usual junk form this one, nothing special here either. I didn't do the daily fishing on the 31st.

Knights of the Ebon Blade and Sons of Hodir Daily Quests 1/20/10

I did all the daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade and The Sons of Hodir on both Wranngar and Gomorra today.

There are 5, sometimes 6, I do for the Knights of the Ebon Blade and another 5 I do for The Sons of Hodir. These take me about 20 minutes each on each character and I generally make around 165 gold on each plus the garbage drops. I usually get 15-20 gold each in garbage drops, so figure around 400 gold a day. Not too bad for the amount of time it takes me.

Knights of the Ebon Blade and Sons of Hodir Daily Quests 1/19/10

I did my daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade and The Sons of Hodir on both Wranngar and Gomorra today. These don't take my long at all and pay pretty well. I am going to need to buy a lot of gems soon as season 8 for arena starts in a week and I will have to re-gear both of them.

I did the Knights of the Ebon Blade first as usual. The ones I do for them are Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire! and Shoot 'Em Up, which I get from the Shadow Vault, and From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and Intelligence Gathering, which I get from Death's Rise. I don't turn in Intelligence Gathering every day, the documents you need have a really poor drop rate so I collect them and turn them in when I get to 5, usually once a week or so. Gomorra did complete that one today so that was an extra 13g23s. All these daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade pay 13g23s each so it does add up. I usually get between 15-20 gold in garbage drops from these too.

After that I did The Sons of Hodir daily's. These take me about 20 minutes each character and pay pretty well. I do Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. Like I said, these go quick and they also pay 13g23s each. I get around 15-20 in garbage drops off these too. By the end of the day it adds up. I also get some good leather and meat doing this daily. Sometimes, if I have a little time and I'm bored, I will farm Mammoth Meat too.

And finally, on the way back I stopped at K3 and did Overstock on Wranngar. Gomorra can't do this one yet, he didn't complete the quest line and I haven't gotten around to doing it on him. This is a quick and easy one that pays 12g96s and literally only takes a few minutes. All you have to do is lay out some land mines and kill 12 mobs that are running by. I put them right in a tight path they run through and get it done in no time. There is no contact so there are no repairs, this one is pure profit.

Knights of the Ebon Blade Daily Quests 1/18/10

Today I did all my Knights of the Ebon Blade on Gomorra, I skipped them on Wranngar and skipped The Sons of Hodir altogether.

The ones I do for the Knights of the Ebon Blade only take me about 20 minutes and pay 13g23s each. There are 6 of them I do, Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire!, Shoot 'Em Up, From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and Intelligence Gathering. I don't always turn in Intelligence Gathering every day as the documents you need have a very poor drop rate but I did turn it in today. That made me 79g38s and another 15-20 gold in garbage drops. These are definitely worth doing for the little amount of time they take. If you follow my blog you know I have time issues, I don't like wasting time.

Knights of the Ebon Blade and Sons of Hodir Daily's 1/16/10

Today I did all the Daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade and The Sons of Hodir on both Wranngar and Gomorra. I was really low on gold in the bank, less than 100, so I had to start doing daily's again. I probably could have come up with a couple hundred in a pinch if I hit up all my toons and the guild bank, but that still isn't really enough to buy anything. That is the cost of PvPing all the time and not doing daily's.

I did the Knights of the Ebon Blade first. There are 6 I do for them, they take me about 2 minutes each character. The ones I do for them are Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire!, Shoot 'Em Up, From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and Intelligence Gathering. I don't hand in Intelligence Gathering every day, the documents you need to get have a really poor drop rate so I hang onto them when I get them and turn them in when I have 5, usually once a week. You can waste a lot of time every day looking for them. These pay 13g23s each so it adds up. I did turn in Intelligence Gathering on Wranngar today so that was an extra 13g23s.

After that I was off to Storm Peaks to do the daily's for The Sons of Hodir. There are 5 I do for them and these also take me about 20 minutes per character. The ones I do for them are Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. These pay 13g23s each so that adds up too. These are really easy quests you can do once you have your reputation up with The Sons of Hodir.

I usually get 30-40 gold a day in garbage drops per character which is nice. I loot everything I kill and skin everything I can. The gold I make from the leather adds up too.

I also have another one I do on Wranngar in the Storm Peaks, Overstock. I pick this one up in K3. This is a really simple daily that only takes a few minutes and pays 12g96s. All you have to do is lay out mines and kill some mobs that run through a certain area. There is no contact so there are no repairs, this one is pure profit.

Sons of Hodir Daily Quests 1/14/10

I did all my daily quests for The Sons of Hodir on Wranngar and Gomorra today. These are quick and easy and pay some decent gold.

The ones I do for The Sons of Hodir are Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. There is one more, Thrusting Hodir's Spear, that I don't do because it is just not worth the aggravation for what it pays, in my opinion.

I do these in this order, Blowing Hordir's Horn and Hot and Cold together because they are in the same area, behind Dun Niffelem, where you pick up the quests, then Feeding Arngrim, Polishing the Helm and Spy Hunter together on the other side of Dun Niffelem. They just seem to flow well that way with the least amount of wasted time or running around.

These all pay 13g23s each and I usually get around 20 gold each in garbage drops. Today I got a piece of Artic Fur, which is currently going for 80 gold a piece on the auction house, while I was skinning something I killed. Altogether I made 132g30s between the two plus, roughly, another 20 gold each from the garbage drops. I will keep the piece of Artic Fur as I might need it some day. I have about 2 and a half stacks now, around 50 pieces.

Knights of the Ebon Blade Daily Quests 1/14/10

Today I did the daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade on both Wranngar and Gomorra.

First I went to the Shadow Vault in Icecrown and picked up Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire! and Shoot 'Em Up, then I flew over to Death's Rise and picked up From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and I already had Intelligence Gathering.

I did From Their Corpses, Rise! and No Fly Zone first. Today Wranngar completed and turned in Intelligence Gathering. These are done in Onslaught Harbor and go pretty easy and quick. I don't complete Intelligence Gathering every day because the drop rate on the documents you need to get is really poor, instead I collect what I get while doing the other 2 and turn it in when I have 5, usually once a week. I turned these in at Death's Rise for 13g23s each.

From there I was off to Jotunhiem to do Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire! and Shoot 'Em Up. These are 3 more that are really easy and go pretty quick once you get a routine down. I also get a lot of garbage drops from these 2 that add up to about 20 gold a day each. These are on the way back from Death's Rise to the Shadow Vault. Once I am done there I fly back to the Shadow Vault and turn them in for 13g23s each. I also sell all the garbage drops I got there and repair.

Between Wranngar and Gomorra I made 145g53s and another, roughly, 40 gold in drops. Not too bad for 20 minutes each.
