Knights of the Ebon Blade 4/11/09

I got Gomorra to level 80 tonight. Ironically I was doing my daily quests for the Knights of the Ebon Blade when I leveled, the same exact thing Wranngar was doing when he leveled to 80. We'll have to see what my Deathknight Wrangar is doing when he levels to 80. He has 14 levels to go so I guess it is time to start working on him now. I don't even want to think about my Hunter Brieanna, who has 44 levels to go, that's just too depressing to think about lol. Gomorra's level 80 training cost me 136 gold but it's over now :).

I did some more questing in Icecrown tonight on Gomorra. Like I said I was doing my daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade when I leveled. I only have 2 daily's for them so far, Leave Our Mark and Vile Like Fire!. Because I leveled to 80 while I was doing them, but before I handed them, in I got 13g23s for each when I did hand them in. The Knights of the Ebon Blade Quartermaster has some nice items I would like to get so I need to build up my reputation with them. Wranngar does From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone, Leave Our Mark, Shoot 'Em Up, Vile Like Fire! and Intelligence Gathering for daily's for them.

I did my daily's for The Sons of Hodir tonight on Gomorra but didn't have time to do them on Wranngar. Tomorrow I will start doing them on both characters. I will probably get on Wranngar tomorrow morning and do my daily's for The Sons of Hodir and Knights of the Ebon Blade before the daily's roll over. Gomorra is still honored with them so he does Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm and Spy Hunter. Wranngar is revered with them so he does Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and, because he is revered, he can also do Feeding Arngrim. There is one more that both of them could be doing, Thrusting Hodir's Spear, but it was so hard on Wranngar that I decided it wasn't worth the effort. That one involves harpooning a drake flying by then clinging to it while it try's to kill you. Of course you are also trying to kill it. I never even got close on Wranngar so I didn't even bother trying on Gomorra.

The daily cooking quest in Dalaran was Cheese for Glowergold for a change. It's not a nice change but a change none the less. This is my least favorite daily cooking quest followed closely by Mustard Dogs!. The reason for that is the items you need to get. Usually everyone else is trying to do it too so it can take awhile to get all the mats you need. Anyway I ran around Dalaran picking up Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses until each of them had 6. Then I headed over to the One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop, to get a piece of Aged Dalaran Limburger for each of them. I got the cheese pretty quick on both so that was nice after all the time it took to get all the Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. For those who are not familiar with this quest, the reason I go around picking up Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses is so I can pour them into a wine bottle and put it on a platter with the cheese. Then I give that to Ranid Glowergold at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange and he is none the wiser. Kind of sneaky but you gotta do whatever it takes to become a chef lol. I delivered the Wine and Cheese Platter to Glowergold and he gave Gomorra 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices, 5 Old Spices and 5 Baby Spice in it. Gomorra made out pretty good today. Wranngar on the other hand did not. He got a Dalaran Cooking Award, 9g93s and a Small Spice Bag with 2 Northern Spices in it. What a difference in rewards. As usual I spent Wranngar's award on 10 more Northern Spices which I put in the guild bank. I have around 550 now. I did some cooking on Gomorra tonight, he spent his awards from the last couple days on Recipe: Firecracker Salmon. He cooked up 14 or 15 of them and got the first stage of The Northrend Gourmet achievement done. There are 45 recipes you have to cook to complete it but they break it down into 15 recipes each stage. Gomorra's cooking skill is 424 now.

I got Gomorra geared somewhat in level 80 gear, some of it I made, a couple pieces are reputation rewards and I purchased a couple pieces. He only has a few pieces of his level 70 Epic PvP gear left now, choker, rings and a trinket. I will probably buy rings for him tomorrow.

Knights of the Ebon Blade 4/10/09

I did some more questing tonight in Icecrown on Gomorra. I did a bunch of quests for the Knights of the Ebon Blade. I increased my reputation to friendly and now I am doing a couple of the daily's for them, Leave Our Mark and Vile Like Fire!. I am only getting around 7g40s for these now because I am still getting XP but when I hit 80 they will increase to 13g23s. I am still doing quests for them and haven't made it to Death's Rise yet, where I should be able to pick up 3 more daily's. I am less than 5 bars from leveling to 80 so I will definitely level tomorrow. Don't let the less than 5 bars fool you though, I still have 413,911 XP to go. That will take me a couple hours. I got a pretty nice staff as a reward tonight that will hold me until I can replace it with something better. And by better I mean Superior.

I did my daily's for The Sons of Hodir on Gomorra tonight but I ended up not having enough time to do them on Wranngar. The ones I did on Gomorra are Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm and Spy Hunter. I timed it today and it took me about a half hour but that included some farming for leather and meat. If I just stick to the quests I can get them done in about 25 minutes. After I get Gomorra to 80 tomorrow I will be doing them on both along with the Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's.

Today's daily cooking was Convention at the Legerdemain. This is a really easy one, all I had to do was head over to the Wine and Cheese shop, One More Glass, and get a jug of wine. Sometimes this can take a little while but today there were only a couple people there and I got my jugs on both pretty quick. Once I had the wine I headed over to the bank and grabbed 4 pieces of Chilled Meat so I could make 4 Northern Stew. Once I had my jug of wine and 4 Northern Stew on both Gomorra and Wranngar I headed over to The Legerdemain and delivered it to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender. She gave Gomorra 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices, 5 Old Spices and 5 Baby Spice in it. Not a bad day for Gomorra. Wranngar got a Dalaran Cooking Award, a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it and 9g93s. Not the best haul for Wranngar but not bad. I took the award Wranngar got and bought 10 more Northern Spices for the guild bank, now I have 548. They are good to have on hand because you can always use them. They go for around 3 gold each on the auction house so I don't want to have to buy them.

Icecrown 4/9/09

I did some questing in Icecrown on Gomorra tonight. I did a bunch of Knights of the Ebon Blade and Argent Crusade quests. I am now about 6 1/2 bars into level 79 and all but the last 3 are rested so basically the whole level is rested for me. You only use your rested XP on kills. Quests, which give the most XP, move the rested marker forward every time you get XP from them. The only way I could get to 80 now without being on rested XP would be to just get out there and grind. Grinding is when you just kill things to get XP and don't do any, or very little, questing. I will hit 80 on Gomorra tomorrow or Saturday. Then I will have to start working on gearing him. I have 2 pieces of my level 80 gear made but need 6 more pieces Ebonweave to make my robe. I can make my next piece in 1 day 16 hours roughly. There is a 4 day cool down on all the top end cloths. I can make 2 pieces because I am a Shadoweave tailor. I am also making Moonshroud for my 22 slot bags but I can only make one piece every 4 days so that is going to take me awhile, I have one piece now.

I did the daily cooking on Gomorra and Wranngar tonight. It was Mustard Dogs!..... We just had Mustard Dogs as the daily cooking for 5 days straight then had a day off with Infused Mushroom Meatloaf and now we are back to Mustard Dogs again. It took me a long time to get the 4 Wild Mustard I needed on each today, everyone was doing it and everyone was complaining about it in trade chat. I was one of them. You can find Wild Mustard in any and all of the Grassy areas in Dalaran. Anyway I finally got the 4 Wild Mustard on each that I needed so I headed over to the bank to get some Rhino Meat so I could make some Rhino Dogs. It takes 4 pieces of Rhino Meat on each for this daily. Needless to say I am running really low on Rhino Meat and will have to go farming. Once I had my Mustard Dog Baskets made up I headed over to deliver them to Archmage Pentarus at Krasus' Landing. He was pretty happy to see me and gave Gomorra 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards, 9g93s and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad haul for Gomorra today. Wranngar got 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it. I took my 2 awards on Wranngar and got 20 more Northern Spices for the guild bank. I have over 500 now, 523 I think. Gomorra used his awards to get Recipe: Mighty Rhino Dogs which he cooked up. He is 2 recipes away from completing stage 1 of The Northrend Gourmet achievement. You have to cook all 45 of the Northrend recipes to complete all 3 stages but for some reason they credit you 15 at a time so you actually earn the achievement 3 times before it is done. Don't ask me why....

I did my daily's for The Sons of Hodir on Gomorra and Wranngar tonight. I do 4 on Gomorra, Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm and Spy Hunter and 5 on Wranngar, Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. I make about 53 gold doing these on Gomorra and around 66 on Wranngar. It usually takes me around 25 minutes to do Gomorra's 4 and a half hour to do Wranngar's 5, give or take 5 minutes or so depending on how many people are doing it. When I am revered with them on Gomorra I will be able to start doing Feeding Arngrim which is about the easiest of all. I got a lot of leather today on Wranngar. I was folloing around a Paladin that was leveling his unarmed skill and I ended up getting about 80 pieces of Borean Leather which I turned into Heavy Borean Leather. I didn't get any Arctic Fur today on either of them today :(.

Gomorra 4/8/09

Tonight I decided to get the daily cooking quest in Dalaran out of the way first lol. Ok, I do the daily cooking first every day :). It was Mustard Dogs! tonight so I took my picnic basket and went in search of some Wild Mustard. It took a long time to get the 4 I needed on both Gomorra and Wranngar. It seemed like everyone was doing it. When I finally had 4 Wild Mustard on both I headed over to the bank for some Rhino Meat so I could cook up some Rhino Dogs. It takes 4 Wild Mustard and 4 Rhino Dogs to make a Mustard Dog Basket. Once I had the baskets made I headed over to Archmage Pentarus at Krasus' Landing and gave them to him. He gave Gomorra 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards, a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it, and 9g93s. Not too bad. Wranngar got 9g93s, a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices, 4 Old Spices and 4 Baby Spice in it along with 9g93s. Not a bad day for Wranngar either. I spent Wranngar's 2 awards on 20 more Northern Spices which I put in the guild bank. I now have over 500 Northern Spices :).

I did my daily's for The Sons of Hodir on Gomorra first because I wanted to level to 79. I did Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm and Spy Hunter. I got another piece of Arctic Fur while doing this quest tonight, they must have increased the drop rate on these as I have gotten 7 in the last 5 days. Altogether these daily's take me about 20 minutes and pay around 53 gold plus reputation. I am still choosing not to do Thrusting Hodir's Spear as it does not seem to be worth the effort. I leveled to 79 when I turned these in tonight so I am on the longest level now. It seems to take forever to get from 79 to 80 but that is just because you want it to be over lol. I went to Stormwind and got my training done, it cost me 90 gold this time. I am honored with The Son's of Hodir but can not buy anything from them I can use because of my level. I guess I will pick up everything I can use when I hit 80. I made a piece of Moonshroud later at the Emerald Dragonshrine, right around 64,74. This location does not have to be exact, you just need to be in the general vicinity of the bones.

I did my daily's for The Sons of Hodir on Wranngar after that. To kind of mix it up a little I did the daily in K3, Overstock, on my way back from doing my daily's for the Sons of Hodir, just to mix it up a little lol. On Wranngar I do Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. Altogether these take me about 25 minutes and pay around 66 gold plus reputation. On the way back I stopped off at K3 to do Overstock. This is a fast easy quest that pays around 13 gold and only takes a few minutes. All you have to do is run over to Garm's Bane and lay down some land mines. I lay the mines out in a straight line starting from the South side and work my way about half way across. When I am half way across I turn back and fill in any big gaps in my line where mines were set off. Like I said, this one only takes a few minutes and pays well, I recommend doing it every day. I didn't do any daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade because I didn't have a lot of time and leveling Gomorra to 80 is more important right now. I will pick them up again when they can both do them.

Sons of Hodir Daily's 4/7/09

I did the daily cooking in Dalaran on both Wranngar and Gomorra tonight. It was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf for a change. I headed down into the sewers in search of Infused Mushrooms. It took me quite awhile to get the 4 I needed on Gomorra but I got the 4 I needed on Wranngar pretty quick. Once I had all the Infused Mushrooms I needed I cooked them up with some Chilled Meat and made a couple meatloafs. I delivered those to Orton Bennet at Curiosities and Moore. He gave Gomorra a Dalaran Cooking Award, 9g93s and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it. Wranngar got 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and 5 Old Spices in it. A pretty good return on this daily for both. I spent Wranngar's award on 10 more Northern Spices, which I put in the guild bank. I had 500 until Gomorra cooked up his new recipe he got with his awards today, Recipe: Poached Northern Sculpin. Now I have about 480 again. Easy come, easy go.

I went and did my daily's for The Sons of Hodir on Gomorra once I had the daily cooking out of the way. I am currently doing Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm and Spy Hunter. I will start doing Feeding Arngrim once I am revered but am pretty sure I will stay away from Thrusting Hodir's Spear. I will do all the pre-req quests for it but I am not interested in doing it after the first few tries I had on Wranngar, he is a lot tougher than Gomorra. I did a little questing on Gomorra in Zul'Drak even though I hate it there. There are a few pretty easy quests there that pay well and give good XP. I am just a little over 2 bars away from level 79. I will probably reach 79 tomorrow doing my daily's, if not I will quest. I will reach 79 tomorrow :).

Sons of Hodir 4/6/09

I did a lot of questing on Gomorra today. I am about 12 1/2 bars into level 78. I started the day off hated by The Sons of Hodir and finished it up 1057/12000 honored. Due to yet another glitch in the game I am unable to buy any of the honored items from them though. (Note* I did receive an e-mail from Blizzard customer support, after posting this post, stating that the items I was trying to buy appeared to be a higher level than my character. I went back and checked and they are correct, my bad. Now I feel foolish.) I also put in a ticket for another glitch that has been going on for a couple years. Every time they have a major patch or an expansion my Felguard comes out at half health, or less, when I dismount. This can be a real problem if you are dismounting because something dismounted you. My minion coming out half dead is useless to me. I am looking forward to their "We are aware of the problem and working on it, why don't you visit the forums" e-mail. That is their answer to everything, visit the forums. I don't need to visit the forums to know that my Felguard is coming out half dead, all I need to do is play my Warlock to know that. And I don't need to discuss it with other people, I just need it fixed. I am getting tired of having to heal him every time I dismount, it takes time and I am healing him with my health so it also costs me health too. Warlocks share their health with their minions.

Anyway I am now doing 4 daily's for the Son's of Hodir to the best of my ability with a half dead minion. The ones I am doing are Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm and Spy Hunter. Now I get to do these twice a day, Once on Wranngar and again on Gomorra. I'm not complaining though, they pay well and are pretty quick and easy. They have a 22 slot bag pattern I want to get for Gomorra, takes a lot of mats but, 22 slots! :). It will be a little while before I get that which will give me some time to make the cloth for my first one. All the cloth for it has a 4 day cooldown. Gomorra only has 2 changeable storage bags because he is also carrying a leatherworking bag and a soul bag. You can't change the bag that comes with the character when you create it but I wish you could, he is really hurting for space. On the plus side I can just pop my leatherworking bag into a bank slot before a raid and replace it with a 20 slot, or 22 slot in the future, bag. He gave Wranngar a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and 9g93s. I took the 2 awards Wranngar got and bought 20 more Northern Spices for the guild bank. I have quite a few but Gomorra is also using quite a few lol. I am in no fear of running out though, I have around 490.

I did all my daily's on Wranngar tonight. I started with Overstock, a fast easy quest that pays around 13 gold at K3 in the Storm Peaks, then moved on to my daily's for The Sons of Hodir and finished with my daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade. Once I have Gomorra doing all of these too the gold will be pouring in. I can still pick up around 12-13 more daily quests so I will have to look around and see what is available and what they have to offer. Whatever they have to offer, if the gold is good I will do them.

Gomorra 4/5/09

I did get back on Gomorra tonight but I didn't get any closer to level 79. I had run out of buff food earlier in the day so I had to go to Howling Fjord to farm some Shoveltusk. I spent a while doing that, I had to get at least 40 pieces so I could make a stack of food, then headed back to Dalaran to cook it up. I made 20 Recipe: Tender Shoveltusk Steak which should keep me going for a while. I also got a bunch of Borean Leather and Borean Leather Scraps which I turned into Borean Leather. I don't get any XP off the Shoveltusks anymore but I need the food.

Questing, Questing, Questing 4/5/09

I did a bunch of questing on Gomorra today and got him to level 78. It is going pretty quick now. I was questing in Zul'Drak, even though I don't like it there, and K3 in the Storm Peaks. There were only a few quests in Zul'Drak that I really don't like, it is mostly the place I don't like, it is dark and depressing. I was questing in K3 when I hit 78 so I flew back to Dalaran and then took the portal to Stormwind. I got my training done then hit the auction house for some Superior Wizard Oil. I picked up 10, each one has 5 charges. I don't get into the big city too often, the big city being one with an auction house, so I stock up on whatever I need from the auction house while I am there. I am taking a break for awhile but as it is still early I am sure I will be back on later and might get half way through 78.

I did the daily cooking quest in Dalaran on both Gomorra and Wranngar today. It was Mustard Dogs! again so I was off to pick some Wild Mustard around Dalaran. It took me a little longer than it has the last couple times today, but I eventually got the 4 I needed on each. I headed over to the bank to get some Rhino Meat so I could make the Rhino Dogs I needed. Once I had those made I cooked them up with the Wild Mustard and made a couple Mustard Dog Baskets!. I delivered those to Archmage Pentarus at Krasus' Landing. He gave Gomorra 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards, 9g93s and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it! This is the first time I have gotten 3 awards in one day. The most Wranngar ever got was 2. That gave me enough to get another recipe and that's just what I did. I got Recipe: Worg Tartare and cooked up a few of those. Wranngar got 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it. I headed right over and got 20 more Northern Spices with the 2 awards and put them in the guild bank. Now I have about 486 in stock.

Farming Iceweb Spider Silk 4/4/09

I farmed up a bunch of Iceweb Spider Silk on Gomorra tonight. I did some questing in Sholazar Basin first, then I headed over to Zul'Drak to farm spider silk. I grabbed the quests that were there concerning killing the spiders and some bats. I was farming them at 38,55 from Trapdoor Crawlers and getting a decent drop rate. I had to kill 73 Trapdoor Crawlers to get 20 Iceweb Spider Silk. I headed over to K3 in the Storm Peaks after that because I saw a few quests there when I was flying through. One of those quests got me 5 more Iceweb Spider Silk :). Gomorra needs them for his Tailoring which I leveled to 435 tonight so I could get the level 435 tailoring recipes. I made my first piece of 80 gear, Frostmoon Pants, they will hold me over until I can get or make an epic to replace them. I had to fly to Dragonblight to the Emerald Dragonshrine to make a piece of Moonshroud so I could make them. I can only make one piece of Moonshroud at a time because I am a Shadoweave tailor. If I was a Mooncloth tailor I would be able to make 2 at a time. As it is I can make 2 pieces of Ebonweave at a time being a Shadoweave tailor.

With all the farming and questing Gomorra is over half way through level 77 and all the rest of the level is rested. I expect to be at least half way through level 78 on him tomorrow. I am getting close now :). I have been making between 200-300 gold a day questing, when I just quest, on Gomorra which is going to come in handy when I have to gear him.

I did the daily cooking in Dalaran on both Wranngar and Gomorra today. It was Mustard Dogs! so I was running all over the city looking for Wild Mustard to pick. I found a couple other spots today where it spawns. Well I know it spawns in all the grassy areas in Dalaran but I finally checked out a couple other locations and all in all it went pretty quick getting the 4 I needed on each. Once I had those I got 4 pieces of Rhino Meat for each of them out of the guild bank to make Rhino Dogs. When I had all the Rhino Dogs made I cooked them up with the Wild Mustard and delivered it to Archmage Pentarus at Krasus' Landing. He is always so happy to see me :). He gave Wranngar 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards, 9g93s and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it. A good haul for Wranngar today. I ran right out and spent the 2 awards on 20 more Northern Spices for the guild bank. Gomorra got 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards, a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it and 9g93s. With the Dalaran Cooking Award I had from yesterday I was able to buy Recipe: Very Burnt Worg. I cooked up a few of them for the guild bank.

I only did one other daily on Wranngar and that was Overstock in the Storm Peaks. This is a fast easy quest that pays around 13 gold for a couple minutes work. I try to do it every day but skipped it the last couple days in favor of leveling Gomorra to 77 so he could get his Cold Weather Flying Training. I will try to start doing my daily's for The Sons of Hodir and the Knights of the Ebon Blade tomorrow. I will if I have time but right now getting Gomorra to 80 is a little more important.

Cold Weather Flying 4/3/09

I got Gomorra to level 77 tonight and got my Cold Weather Flying Training. As soon as I turned 77 I headed over to see Pilot Vic at River's Heart. He taught me cold weather flying just like he taught Wranngar before me when he leveled to 77 in Sholazar Basin. It cost me 1,000 gold. Gomorra only had around 900 gold on him so I logged over to Wranngar and sent another 200. That left Gomorra with a little spending gold after paying for Cold Weather Flying Training. Being able to fly will make questing so much easier and allow me to do the quests that require flying.

I did some quests in Sholazar Basin for the Frenzyheart Tribe. It was kind of weird because I was building up reputation with them, got to honored, then they gave me a quest to go get an injured Oracle and bring him back for questioning. I found him down by the river, where they said he would be, and when I clicked on him a giant gator attacked us. I killed the gator and the Shaman from the Frenzyheart Tribe, the guy who gave me the quest to begin with, jumps out of the bushes and calls me a traitor, says he saw me helping the Oracle and "they will get me for this!". My reputation went from honored to hated in a second.

Meanwhile the Oracle I saved from the giant gator tells me this is great, I can be their friend and do quests for them, so I headed over to their tribe and did some quests for them. I was mostly interested in getting the XP so I could level to 77 and get my Cold Weather Flying Training.

I did the daily cooking today on both Gomorra and Wranngar after I leveled Gomorra to 77. It was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf again so I headed down into the sewers to pick some Infused Mushrooms. Once I had the 4 I needed on each I cooked them up with some Chilled Meat and delivered it to Orton Bennet at Curiosities and Moore. He gave Gomorra 9g93s, a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices and 5 Baby Spice in it, and a Dalaran Cooking Award. Not a bad haul but another Dalaran Cooking Award would have been nice :). I can't complain though, I have had quite a few 2 award days on Gomorra. When Wranngar got paid, he got a Dalaran Cooking Award , 9g93s and a Small Spice Bag with 2 Northern Spices in it. Wranngar kind of got screwed on this one today. You take the good with the bad though, lol. I took Wranngar's award and bought 10 more Northern Spices for the guild bank. Gomorra cooked up some of the meat in the bank, he has been contributing a lot of meat lately, and got his cooking skill up to 417. I only have 3 recipes I can level my skill off of and they are all green. The guild bank is starting to get pretty well stocked up :).

Sholazar Basin 4/2/09

I did the daily cooking in Dalaran on both Wranngar and Gomorra tonight. It was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf so I was off to the sewers in search of Infused Mushrooms. I got the 4 I needed on Wranngar then cooked them up with a couple pieces of Chilled Meat I got from the guild bank. I delivered that to Orton Bennet at Curiosities and Moore in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it. I got 10 more Northern Spices with my award and put them all in the guild bank. Then I turned around and did it on Gomorra. When Gomorra delivered his Meatloaf to Orton Bennet at Curiosities and Moore he got 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it. With the Dalaran Cooking Award he had left over from yesterday Gomorra was able to buy Recipe: Spiced Wyrm Burger. I cooked that up and got it added to my list for The Northrend Gourmet achievement.

After that I went to Sholozar Basin to do some questing. I had literally no XP in level 76 when I got there. It was a little weird, at one point, on the flight in, I disappeared from the plane I was flying in. I grabbed all the quests I could get and set off. I quested there for a couple hours and got a lot of Chilled Meat, Rhino Meat and Borean Leather. I ended up sending Wranngar 192 pieces of Borean Leather and 1 piece of Arctic Fur I got there. When I logged off tonight I had 10 1/2 bars XP and all the rest is rested XP. I will run out of rested in level 77 I think, but might go to 78, if I keep going at the pace I have been. You only use the rested XP when you kill something, when you turn in a quest it moves the rested marker forward so you don't use the rested XP. So if I can keep the quests yellow it is possible I could stretch out that rested XP to 78.

Gomorra 4/1/09

Gomorra leveled to 76 tonight. I am pretty happy about that because now I can quest in Sholazar Basin. I will level to 77 pretty quick there and I can get my cold weather flying training. I should be flying in North Rend by Friday night, Saturday the latest. I took the portal from Dalaran to Stormwind and got my training done. That ran me about 50 gold, not too bad. I went back to Dalaran before I logged off so I will be there for the daily cooking when I log on tomorrow.

I did the daily cooking quest on both Wranngar and Gomorra tonight. It was Mustard Dogs! so I went off in search of Wild Mustard. Wild Mustard grows in all the grassy areas of Dalaran. I think they are kind of small and you really have to look for them. Usually I see the sparkles long before I see the Wild Mustard. I got the 4 I needed on each and then made up some Rhino Dogs from some of the Rhino Meat I had in the bank. I cooked the Rhino Dogs up with the Wild Mustard and delivered it to Archmage Pentarus at Krasus' Landing. He gave Gomorra 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it. He gave Wranngar 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 2 Northern Spices in it. That gave Gomorra 4 Dalaran Cooking Awards so I used 3 of them to buy Recipe: Mega Mammoth Meal. That's 2 down, 43 to go. I used Wranngar's awards to buy 20 more Northern Spices which I put in the guild bank. I now have 438 Northern Spices on hand. Gomorra will use a lot of them to get his cooking up and to eventually get his Hail to the Chef achievement but I am pretty confident now that I will not run out.

I didn't do any of my daily's on Wranngar besides the daily cooking, I wanted to get Gomorra to 76 tonight so I concentrated on that. I did a bunch of questing in Dragonblight and didn't have to go to Zul'Drak at all, I liked that. I just don't like Zul'Drak and the most the quests you get there. Wranngar did a lot of questing there and I will be happy if I can get Gomorra to 80 without having to do anymore questing there. Tomorrow I will go to Sholazar Basin and start doing the quests there. I liked questing there on Wranngar and there are plenty of animals to kill for meat and leather not to mention the fishing. Hopefully I will be able to get to 78 there.
