Daily's Wranngar 4/26/08

I did a bunch of daily's on Wranngar today. I did the daily cooking quest but I didn't get a recipe :(. I did all my Shattered Sun quests and the Throne of Kil'Jaeden along with Nagrand and Shadowmoon Valley. All together on Wranngar I made 167g47s on daily's today. Now I will do them again a little later on Gomorra. After I did the daily's on Wranngar I did some battlegrounds trying to get the daily battleground done which happens to be WSG. I hate WSG. So far 5 losses and my daily battleground still isn't done :(. I will keep trying.

Daily's 4/25/08

I have been really bad with my daily's lately. I did a few today on both Wranngar and Gomorra but not too many, I only made around 47g :(. I will have to really get back on them and pick up a few more too. I really want to get my 300 riding skill on Gomorra now so I can get him on an epic flying mount.

Daily Battleground 4/25/08

Today's daily battleground was Alterac Valley. I won the first one I was in on Wranngar then did another 16. We one won 2 more for a total of 3 wins and 14 losses. Not a good day for the Alliance in AV at all. People just didn't seem to be motivated. I also think it is AV weekend again and that pulls everyone in. Anyway most battles we didn't even get any of the Frostwolf Towers or FWRH. In a few battles we lost at Drek while we were trying to bring him down. In a few of the battles the Alliance just seemed to stall in the IBT/IBGY area and hung out there fighting Horde. I got tangled up in one battle where the plan was to charge Drek and take him down without taking any towers. That didn't work out well. Each tower represents a Warmaster and +25% health to Drek. When there are 4 towers up there are 4 Warmasters in with Drek who is also at 200% health. Not an easy task. We had a couple battles where everyone turtled at either Dun Baldar or Stonehearth GY. In the battles we did win we took IBGY and as soon as that was claimed we started on the towers while a large group moved forward to FWGY and FW. We got the towers, FWRH and FW Towers and killed Drek. In all of our wins we killed Drek, we didn't have any wins on reinforcements today.

Battlegrounds 4/24/08

I did a bunch of battlegrounds today on Wranngar. I did 4 AB's, 2 wins and 2 losses, AB was my daily. I did 14 AV's, 7 wins and 7 losses. What seems to be working in AV now is either the FWGY approach or IBGY. Rushing FWRH isn't working because the Horde get on us so bad when we do that we are unable to go back and get the other towers and then we can't kill Drek with 2 Warmasters and a room full or Horde. I tanked Drek on a couple of our wins and tanked Galv a few times. 2 of the battles we won on reinforcements and more than a few the Horde won on reinforcements. The get Galv first strat never seems to work and the Horde are onto the rush FWRH strat so they are wiating for us on that one. The last game I was in the Horde had so many on D at Frostwolf that they couldn't take down Vann after they had the towers down and won on reinforcements after having the towers down for over 5 minutes.

Daily Battleground 4/24/08

Today's daily battleground was Arathi Basin again. I did it on Wranngar. We lost the first one I was in but we won the second. Then Axeelina came on and she wanted to do the daily BG so I did it again, another win. I went on to do another one by myself and we lost that one so we were 50% for the 4 I was in. I got 11g99s and 419 honor for that one.

Battlegrounds 4/23/08

The Alliance wasn't doing as well in the battlegrounds today as they were yesterday. I had Wranngar in 5 battles in AV, 4 losses and 1 win. The strat that seemed to be causing the most trouble was the "Get Galv first" strat. That usually ended in a wipe and everyone being sent back to Dun Baldar. The rush FWRH strat doesn't seem to be working anymore either. We got our win tonight by getting IBGY, then 3 towers, FWRH and finally Drek. I don't think we ever got Galv in that battle. There was one battle where we held SHGY for some reason, keeping all the Horde in from of us so we couldn't advance or cap any towers. I tanked Drek at the end of the battle we won while there was still a tower up. It went pretty smooth and we took him down fast and easy. I don't know why everyone couldn't have worked together like that before, we would have had less losses.

Daily's 4/23/08

I was pretty bad with my daily's today. I did all my Shattered Sun daily's on Gomorra but only did a couple on Wranngar. I only made about 120g today on my daily's. I did the daily cooking quest on Wranngar and also Gaining the Advantage.

Daily Battleground 4/23/08

The daily battleground today was Arathi Basin. I did it on Wranngar and we won the first one I was in. We had a 4 cap going part of the battle and a 3 cap going for most of it. At one point we were down to 2 but it didn't last long. We beat them 2000/1230. We started off with the Stables, Gold Mine, Lumber Mill and Blacksmith but we lost the Blacksmith right off. After that we took the Farm and lost the Lumber Mill and it pretty much went back and forth like that for the rest of the battle. We would lose one and get one, lose one and get two. It was a pretty good display of teamwork on the part of the Alliance.

Wranngar 4/23/08

I helped out a friend of mine Dragoss today with Wranngar. He had some quests in STV to get done. We did 5 or 6 quests and got them out of the way. Then I logged over to Gomorra and gave another friend, Jacedic, a hand in Terokkar Forest with a couple quests. I will log back on a little later and either do the daily's on Wranngar or some battlegrounds. Maybe both.

Batlegrounds 4/22/08

I heard the Alliance is doing better in all battlegrounds today. I know they are doing better in AV, I fought in 12 battles on Wranngar today in AV, 6 wins and 6 losses. We won 5 games in a row! I havent done that in awhile. The Alliance was working together as a team and we were able to easily beat the Horde in a few games, two we won on reinforcements and one was close but we downed Drek. I got to tank Drek in 3 of the battles and I tanked Galv in a couple too. All in all I had a great time. In the ones we lost we still did pretty good, we usually got all the towers and Galv so we still came out of it with pretty good honor. We had one loss where the plan was to rush FWRH, which we did, but TP & IBT didn't get capped and we didn't have enough offense to take down Drek, we lost that one when the Horde killed Vann. 50% is a lot better than the Alliance have been doing in AV lately. Hopefully this will keep up, I got some good kills and honor today :).

Daily's 4/22/08

I did a bunch of the daily's on both Wranngar and Gomorra today. I didn't get them all done but I did enough to make 295g total. I did all the ones in the Shattered Sun Staging Area on both and Gaining the Advantage and the daily cooking quest on Wranngar. I am about 1/5 of the way to Gomorra's 300 riding skill.

Nothing New 4/21/08

I went up to the campground today with a friend of mine and spent the whole day there so I didn't get to play at all :(. It was opening day of fishing season here this weekend. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to make up for that :).

Battlegrounds 4/20/08

I haven't posted about the battlegrounds in a couple days. It is not because I have not done any, it is because there is really nothing to post. The Alliance is still doing pretty poorly in the battlegrounds. In the last 2 days I have fought in 17 AV's 2 wins, 15 losses, and 4 AB's, all losses. I hope this will improve soon but, as I already have everything I need from honor, I am just in there for the kills now. AV is still having the same problems, people are not working together towards one goal and it costs us the battle. People are back to going to straight to Galv now and that is a really bad move, usually the Horde come piling in and wipe them out and everyone ends back up in Dun Baldar which usually turns into a turtle. There is another tactic that is being used a lot but does not work well and that is to charge straight to the Frostwolf Relief Hut. When that happens we are usually 2 towers short. Drek can be taken down with 2 Warmasters up, heck I think he can be takes down with a good group with 4 Warmasters up, but we don't seem to get good groups too often anymore. What usually ends up happening when everyone rushes FWRH is we have the two towers still up then everyone runs into Drek one at a time and dies instead of grouping up outside and running in together. People are calling for everyone to wait and group up but people are not listening. As I said, I am just in there for the kills now and I get plenty of them so it is not a total loss for me. In the 2 AB's the problem, once again, was people not working together. People going off in one's and two's trying to cap objectives leaving other nodes we already had unguarded or poorly guarded at best.
