Gomorra daily's 11/7/09

I decided to get back on and do the daily cooking and fishing on Gomorra. They were Convention at the Legerdemain for the cooking, a really easy one, and Monsterbelly Appetite for the fishing, another easy one. I hadn't been on Gom for awhile so I figured I would give him some time and make a little gold while I was at it. Both these quests only took me about 10 minutes.

I did the cooking first as usual. I grabbed 4 Chilled Meat from the guild bank and made my Northern Stew, then I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran, for a Jug of Wine. I found the Jug of Wine as soon as I walked in the door so all I had to do then was run across the road and see Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain. I gave him the stew and wine and he gave me 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it. Not a great haul.

I was off to Un'upe after that to catch a Bloated Monsterbelly. When I got to Un'upe I flew southeast to the icebergs out there and found a Monsterbelly school right off. I got my Bloated Monsterbelly on the 3rd cast which wasn't too bad. I got the Severed Arm out of it and headed back in to shore to take the flight path back to Dalaran so I could hand it in to Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange. She is going to try to reunite the arm with the fisherman. Good luck. Anyway she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble. When I opened it, it had 8g9s33c, 5 Pygmy Oil, 2 Pieces of Worthless Orange Glass and 3 Deviate Fish in it. Not a great haul on this one today either. There are still a lot of good rewards to be had from the daily fishing so I will keep plugging away at it.

Just Wandering Around 11/8/09

I got on Wranngar early this morning to get my daily's from yesterday out of the way. Funny thing, because of the time change here the daily's I did were for the 7th, not the 6th as I thought, so I was unable to pick up the daily's. Not sure when they roll over now. Anyway I just wandered around. I went over to the Barren's to see if I could get Rocklance to drop Recipe: Savory Deviate Delight but he wasn't around.

After that I just wandered around some. There was no one on at all. I went long stretches without seeing anyone. I wandered around Eastern Kingdom some then headed to the Outlands for awhile. There was nothing going on there either. I could have done my daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade and The Sons of Hodir but I just wasn't into it, I will do them all when I get on later after they roll over. I did stop by to see Terokkarantula while I was in the Bonewastes. He's a level 65 elite you get a quest for there.

Monsterbelly Appetite and Convention at the Legerdemain 11/6/09

I got on Wranngar right before the daily's rolled over again today. Today it was a race though, I didn't know if I would get the fishing handed in but I did. Today the cooking was Convention at the Legerdemain, a nice easy one, while the fishing was Monsterbelly Appetite, another easy one.

As usual I did the cooking first, running over the bank for some Chilled Meat to make my Northern Stew, then I was off to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran for a Jug of Wine. He gave me 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it. Not a great haul today but not bad either.

I was off to Un'upe after that to catch a Bloated Monsterbelly. I had a hard time finding a Monsterbelly School but when I finally did I got it on the second cast. I hearthed back to Dalaran and turned it in to Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange in exchange for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today it had 9g55s39c, 2 Elixir of Water Walking, a Stuffed Shark Head and 4 Deviate Fish. Not a great return on this one today either.

I saw I was down to 10 Chilled Meat when I did the cooking today so I headed over to Sholazar Basin to farm some more. I ended up getting 30 Chilled Meat, 3 Rhino Meat, a lot of Borean Leather and a piece of Artic Fur. That was a better return than both the daily's combined :).

Sewer Stew and Dangerously Delicious 11/3/09

I have been slacking a little lately but I did get on Wranngar today and got the daily cooking and fishing done. The cooking today was Sewer Stew while the fishing was Dangerously Delicious again. I almost skipped the fishing but decided in the end to do it. If I don't do it I can't get the good stuff :).

I did the cooking first which had me heading down to Crystalsong Forest to pick Crystalsong Carrots. It didn't take me long at all to get the 4 I needed, so I was headed back to Dalaran to get some Chilled Meat out of the bank to cook it up with. Once I had it cooked I delivered it to Ajay Green at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it. Not the best day but I have had worse.

I was off to Wintergrasp after that to fish up some Terrorfish. It was one of the rare occasions that the Horde were in possession of it but I didn't have any trouble. I headed to my spot at the southern end and got my 10 Terrorfish in 20 casts. Those in hand I headed back to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran to exchange them for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g57s31c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking, an Unusual Compass and 2 Deviate Fish. Nothing to write home about there, I sold the Unusual Compass to a vendor for 2 gold.

First Daily's of the New Month 11/1/09

I got on Wranngar and grabbed my daily cooking and fishing. The cooking was Convention at the Legerdemain for a change and the fishing was Jewel Of The Sewers for another change.

I got the cooking out of the way first as usual. I ran over to the bank and got 4 pieces of Chilled Meat to make my Northern Stew then I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran, to get a Jug of Wine. I found that as soon as I walked in the door, then all I had to do was run across the street and deliver it to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain. He gave me 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 2 Northern Spices in it. I've had better days.

I headed down into the Underbelly, the sewers below Dalaran, after that to do my daily fishing. I headed to my spot in The Black Market and got my piece of Corroded Jewelry on the 8th cast. I headed back up to Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran to hand it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today it had 6g31s6c, 3 Elixirs of Water Walking and a Sealed Vial of Poison, which starts a quest. I accepted the quest, which is to deliver the Sealed Vial of Posion to Alchemist Cinesra in The Black Market. All in all this quest takes about a minute and pays 13g23s, not a bad deal. While I was down there I found an Underbelly Elixir which I drank. There is just something about finding a half full bottle in the sewers that makes you want to drink it :). When I drank it, it made everyone else in Dalaran look like a Mage. That lasts for 10 minutes.

Daily's 10/31/09

I got on Wranngar and grabbed the daily cooking, Cheese for Glowergold again, and the daily fishing, Dangerously Delicious again, this morning so I could get them done before daily's roll over.

Naturally I did Cheese for Glowergold first. Once again I got 5 of the 6 Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses I needed before I even left the Inn. I got the last one, and the Aged Dalaran Limburger, at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran. I combined the wine and cheese on the platter supplied, when I got the quest, by right clicking on the platter, and delivered it to Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange. He gave me 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices, 3 Old Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul today.

I was off to Wintergrasp to do the daily fishing after that. I took the flight path out of Dalaran to Fordragon Hold in Dragonblight. From there I flew into Wintergrasp to the place I used to fish, around 77,72. I have never had any problem with Horde there and didn't feel like dealing with them today. I got my 10 Terrorfish in 23 casts so it was not as good a day of fishing as yesterday, but I got them, then headed back to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran for my reward. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 6g55s53c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking and a Stuffed Shark Head. Hardly worth the effort, but one of these days I will get the good stuff, I just know it :).

Brieanna - Grand Master First Aid 10/31/09

I got on Brieanna for a little bit and took her to Northrend so she could become a Grand Master in First Aid. It cost me 35 gold to learn Grand Master First Aid and another 50 gold to learn Frostweave Bandage. That should get me to around 400-420 then I will have to wait until I am somewhere around 75 before I can get into the area where the Manual: Heavy Frostweave Bandage drops. I guess I am Ok to go for a while though as she is level 37 and only has 1730 health.

Dangerously Delicious and Cheese for Golwergold 10/30/09

I got on Wranngar just in time to do the daily fishing and cooking again before they rolled over. The cooking was Cheese for Glowergold, no surprise there, and the fishing was Dangerously Delicious.

Today it had 10g75s58c, a Glow Worm and a Tower Key which I sold to a vendor for 16g66s66c. Not bad a haul from the fishing today either. I am still waiting to get the Jeweled Fishing Pole and High Test Eternium Fishing Line from this one so I will keep plugging away at it.

Daily Fishing and Cooking 10/29/09

I got on Wranngar right before the daily's rolled over and just had time to do the daily fishing and cooking. The fishing was The Ghostfish and the cooking was Mustard Dogs!.

As usual I did the cooking first which had me running all over Dalaran picking Wild Mustard. It didn't take me long at all to get the 4 I needed, I think everyone else had already done it. I headed back to the bank when I had the 4 I needed and grabbed some Rhino Meat to make the Rhino Dogs. Once I had them cooked I combined them with the mustard to make a Mustard Dog Basket!. I took that and delivered it to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing in exchange for 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad haul today.

Seeing as I was already at the flight point I headed over to Sholazar Basin to do the daily fishing. I flew to my spot up top, a little Northeast of the flight point, and started fishing. Because I was in a hurry to get this done before the daily's rolled over it took me 21 casts to get my Phantom Ghostfish, but get it I finally did. I ate it right away because you only have 60 seconds to eat it before it disappears, then headed back to tell Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran what I found out. She was pretty excited and gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures which today had 10g24s9c, 3 Pygmy Oil and 3 Worthless Pieces of Orange Glass in it. Not a great haul on this one today.

Finally A Different Cooking Daily 10/28/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and grabbed the daily cooking and fishing. The cooking today was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf for a change. It seems like every time I got on it was Cheese for Glowergold, my least favorite. The last 5 times as a matter of fact. The daily fishing was Blood Is Thicker which is also another easy one.

I did the cooking first as usual. That had me heading down into the sewers in search of Infused Mushrooms. It didn't take me long to get the 4 I needed although it seemed like a lot of other people were running around picking them too. Once I had the 4 Infused Mushrooms I needed I headed over to the bank to grab some Chilled Meat to cook them with. I cooked them up and delivered my meatloaf to Orton Bennet upstairs at Curiosities and Moore in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it. Not too bad a haul today.

I did the fishing next. I headed over to Un'upe then flew straight inshore until I saw a Marsh Caribou to kill. I killed him and got covered in blood then flew back to the shore and jumped in the water creating a blood pool. I fished in the blood pool until I had 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy. Once I had those I flew back to hand them in to Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran in exchange for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 6g56s54c, a Glow Worm, an Unusual Compass and 4 Deviate Fish. I have certainly had better days fishing. You know what they say though, "A bad day of fishing is still better than a good day of Cheese for Glowergold". I sold the Unusual Compass to a vendor for 2 gold so at least I got something out of it.

I headed off to do the rest of my daily's after that, starting with the Knights of the Ebon Blade which had me heading over to the Shadow Vault. I picked up Leave Our Mark, Vile Like Fire! and Shoot 'Em Up there, then headed over to Deaths Rise to get From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone and Intelligence Gathering. All in all these 6 don't take me long as long as I don't waste time trying to get the documents for Intelligence Gathering after I am done with the other 2. I get some pretty good gold from these.

I headed over to K3 and did Overstock. This is a fast, easy quest that causes no damage, no repairs, and gets you 12g96s. It only takes a couple minutes and you're on your way. I never miss this one if I am in the area. All you have to do is lay out mines and kill invaders when they run over them. I lay all mine out in one area they seem to funnel through and it only takes a couple minutes to get the 12 I need.

I was off to do my daily's for The Sons of Hodir after that. I do 5 of the 6 available there, Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. The one I don't do is Thrusting Hodir's Spear. I skip that one because there is way too much time and effort involved in that one for the reward you get. I have never done it in it's entirety and I hear people complaining about it all the time. The general opinion seems to be don't waste your time. I'll go along with that. I got my 5 out of the way pretty quick, turned them in and got my gold. These pay pretty well also.

I got back on a little bit later and did the daily cooking and fishing in Outlands. Today the cooking was Soup for the Soul and the fishing was The One That Got Away, nice and close to each other. I didn't get anything worth mentioning from those, aside from 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks which I can use, but I did get Sinister Squashling, which is a companion, when I went trick or treating in Duskwood. That's one more to my pet collection.

Daily's Cont... 10/27/09

I got back on Wranngar a little later and did some more daily's.

I did all my daily's for The Sons of Hodir, Blowing Hodir's Horn, Hot and Cold, Polishing the Helm, Spy Hunter and Feeding Arngrim. These, as usual, did not take me long. I think the longest part of these is getting all the Essence of Ice I need for Hot and Cold. I am realizing now that I am putting in the photo's how few I have for The Sons of Hodir. I will have to make a note to get more as I go along.

Daily's 10/27/09

I got on Wranngar today and just did the daily cooking and fishing. Today the cooking was Cheese for Glowergold, no surprise there, that's what it's been the last 5 or 6 times I have done it. It is getting pretty old I'll tell you what. That is my least favorite daily cooking. The fishing today, from Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, was Monsterbelly Appetite. That's the same one I did last time I did the daily fishing too. At least that one's not bad, not as bad as Cheese for Glowergold.

I found a school of Monsterbelly's pretty quick but it disappeared after my first cast. I found another one right near it and got my Bloated Monsterbelly on the first cast from that one. I headed back to Dalaran to hand it in. When I got there I went to see Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange and gave her the Severed Arm, she is going to attempt to reunite it with the fisherman who lost it. It's Halloween in World of Warcraft

I did a couple daily's on Wranngar today, but I spent most my time running around to all the Inns getting candy and the 6g63s that goes with it. Believe it or not I made over 160 gold off just trick or treating.

The daily's I did were the daily cooking in Dalaran which was Cheese for Glowergold again. It seems like every time I do it lately that's what it is. There were A LOT of people on when I logged on and I thought it was going to take me forever to get it done but none of them were doing the daily cooking apparently. It didn't take me long at all to get the 6 Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses I needed, and when I ran over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran, the Aged Dalaran Limburger was sitting right there waiting for me. I skipped the daily fishing today, Dangerously Delicious, because I just didn't want to deal with it. Instead I headed to Shattrath and did the daily cooking and fishing there which was Super Hot Stew and Felblood Fillet. I didn't get anything worth mentioning from either of those.

I hit a few Inns there, in Outlands, then headed back to the Dark Portal and hit A LOT of Inns in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. That is where I got most the gold. I did hit 2 in Dalaran but that was about all I hit in Northrend. Maybe tomorrow, or the next time I get on, I will run around Northrend and hit those. Maybe, maybe not.
