Blizzard Announces Extended Support Hours

Blizzard announced they have extended the hours of their phone support teams in order to help players get support at convenient times. Their Technical, Billing and Account Services are now taking calls seven days per week, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pacific time. If you're having any problems, give them a call. The Ghostfish - Daily Fishing 12/7/09

Today when I went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, she had The Ghostfish for my daily. I don't really like this one because there is a lot of travel time involved but as long as it isn't every day it's ok.

I took the flight path out of Dalaran to River's Heart in Sholazar Basin then flew up to my spot above and a little northwest of the flight point. I fished there, keeping an eye out for Croc's, and got my Phantom Ghostfish on the 7th cast which wasn't too bad. I ate it right away because it is on a timer and you only have 60 seconds, after you loot it, to eat it before it disappears. I got the whole Ghostfish experience then flew back to see Marcia and let her know what I found out.

She gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures with 6g44s90c, 3 Pygmy Oil and a Battered Jungle Hat. Not worth the time it took to fly to Sholazar Basin and back, but you never know.

Daily Cooking - Infused Mushroom Meatloaf 12/7/09

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Infused Mushroom Meatloaf for me. This is a simple one you don't even have to leave Dalaran for assuming you have some meat on hand, which I always do.

I headed down into the sewers to pick 4 Infused Mushrooms and got them fast. I headed over to the bank from there and got a couple pieces of Chilled Meat from my dwindling supply. Someone had made a fire in the bank so I used that to cook up my meatloaf.

I took the meatloaf over to Orton Bennet upstairs at Curiosities and Moore, a man who likes his meatloaf, and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. An ok haul today I guess. I would have liked more spices but what can you do.

Cheese for Glowergold - Daily Cooking 12/6/09

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Cheese for Glowergold for me, my least favorite daily cooking quest. The reason I don't like this one is the Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses are small and hard to target. Believe it or not though, they are getting easier to target lol.

I did this entire daily while I was in queue for the battleground, it went that fast today. I started off collecting Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses in A Hero's Welcome and got 2 there. Then I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop, and got 3 more and the piece of Aged Dalaran Limburger I needed. I got the last glass I needed outside the wine and cheese shop off the table where the girl is giving samples. I combined them on the platter, that was supplied to me when i picked up the quest, and headed off to see Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange.

I exchanged the wine and cheese platter for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with another Dalaran Cooking Award, 3 Old Spices and 3 Northern Spices in it. A decent haul today. I need the spices, I am just a little over 300 left in the bank. I cooked up 93 Poached Northern Sculpin yesterday after I did some fishing and that really put a dent in my supply. I use the Poached Northern Sculpin for the battlegrounds to give me an edge.

Daily Fishing - Monsterbelly Appetite 12/6/09

Today when I went to see what Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had for me I got Monsterbelly Appetite, a simple enough quest but a little time consuming with the travel and all. I did it between battlegrounds so it took me awhile as I kept leaving in flight which caused me to land at every flight point between Dalaran and Unu'pe.

I finally got to Unu'pe, in Borean Tundra, and headed out to sea to catch my Bloated Monsterbelly. I flew around until I found a school, then fished it. I got my Bloated Monsterbelly on the 3rd cast and opened it up. I found the Severed Arm inside and hearthed back to Dalaran.

This quest is the only daily fishing quest that doesn't get turned back in to Marcia, instead it gets turned in to Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange. I went to see her and exchanged the Severed Arm for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. She is going to attempt to reunite the arm with it's rightful owner.

Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g5s40c, 3 Elixirs of Water Walking, 2 Crafted Stars and 4 Deviate Fish in it. All junk and even the gold wasn't much. I don't know why I do this one every day... Yes I do, there are still some good things to get from this daily and I will keep plugging away at it until I have them all :).

Waterlogged Recipe - 12/5/09

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Blood Is Thicker for me when I went to see her. I had this one the other day too, but today I got a Waterlogged Recipe, this is the first time I have gotten one of those.

This one had me taking the flight path out of Dalaran to Unu'pe, on the Borean coast. From there I flew inland until I found a Marsh Caribou to kill. I ripped that apart and got covered in blood, then I flew back to the shore and jumped in, creating a blood pool. I fished in the blood pool until I caught 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy. I took those back to Marcia and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g66s19c, 3 Pygmy Oil, 2 Worthless Pieces of White Glass, 4 Deviate Fish and a Waterlogged Recipe. This is the first time I have gotten a Waterlogged Recipe from this daily. Waterlogged Recipe starts a quest. The quest was to take the recipe to Christi Stockton, the wine vendor at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran. In return for that she gave me 13g23s and 5 Dalaran Cooking Awards. A pretty good haul for this daily today.

Daily Cooking - Convention at the Legerdemain again 12/4/09

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome had Convention at the Legerdemain for me again. They must be having a convention all week.

This had me running over to the bank to grab some Chilled Meat for the Northern Stew then One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop, for the Jug of Wine. I found it in the same spot as the last 2 times. I took the wine and stew over to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag which had 5 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad haul for this one today.

Daily Fishing - Monsterbelly Appetite 12/4/09

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran had Monsterbelly Appetite for me.

That had me taking the flight path out of Dalaran to unu'pe. Once I got there I headed out to sea in a southeasterly direction until I was at the icebergs. I turned on fish finding and found a Monsterbelly school. I got my Bloated Monsterbelly on the first cast and recovered the Severed Arm. I hearthed back to Dalaran and went see Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange. She is going to try and reattach the arm to the fisherman.

For my troubles she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures with 9g90s33c, a Glow Worm, a Worthless piece of Orange Glass and 4 Deviate Fish. More junk today. I am due for something good so I bet I am going to get something really good when it happens, maybe the Jeweled Fishing Pole.

Daily Cooking - Convention at the Legerdemain 12/3/09

When I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome today, to see what she had for me, she gave me Convention at the Legerdemain. This is a pretty easy one that eats up a lot of supplies if you get it a lot. With the 'variety' Blizzard gives you on the daily's, you can be stuck on this one for days.

This one had me heading over to the bank to get some Chilled Meat so I could cook up the 4 Northern Stew this one calls for. Once I had those cooked I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop, and grabbed a Jug of Wine. I found it upstairs this time. I have been having pretty good luck finding the items I need for the daily cooking lately, I don't know if less people are doing them or I am just hitting the timing right.

I took the stew and wine over to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain, and exchanged them for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices in it. I guess this is a good haul, to be honest there is just nothing more to be had from this daily, I have gotten it all. I need the Northern Spices though, for cooking, and that's why I keep plugging away at this one every day.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker - 12/3/09

When I went and talked to Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, the daily fishing was, no surprise, Blood Is Thicker. This is the third day in a row on this one. For this one you need to catch 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy.

I took the flight path from Dalaran to Unu'pe in Borean Tundra, then flew inland to kill a Marsh Caribou so I could get covered in blood. Once I was blood covered I flew back to shore and jumped in the water. That washed the blood off me and created a blood pool which I fished in for my Bloodtooth Frenzy. I got my 5 pretty fast because you catch them in 2's and 3's.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Marcia. I turned the fish over to her and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today it had 8g31s80c, 3 Northsea Pearls, a New Age Painting signed by Marcia Chase, that I sold to a vendor for 25 gold, and 4 Deviate Fish in it. Not a bad haul with the painting I guess but I would like to see some of the better rewards from this one. It's been quite a while since I got anything good from this daily.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 12/2/09

The daily fishing today was Blood Is Thicker. This was still fresh in my mind as it is the same one I did yesterday, not much variety there.

I took the flight path to Unu'pe then flew inland until I found a Marsh Caribou to slaughter. I killed that, which covered me in blood, then flew back the the shore and jumped in. That washed the blood off me and created a blood pool. I fished in the blood pool until I caught 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy, which is only a couple casts as you catch them in 2's and 3's. I took them back to Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran to exchange for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g1s87c, 3 Pygmy Oil, 3 Pieces of Worthless Orange Glass and 3 Deviate Fish in it. Another poor return on this daily today.

Daily Cooking - Mustard Dogs 12/2/09

The daily cooking quest today was the same as yesterday. As a matter of fact all my daily quests, cooking, fishing and battleground, were the same as yesterday. Today the cooking was Mustard Dogs!.

I headed out to the grassy areas around Dalaran and picked 4 Wild Mustard then headed over to the bank to get some Rhino Meat so I could make some Rhino Dogs. Once I had those cooked up I combined them with the Wild Mustard in the Empty Picnic Basket to make a Mustard Dog Basket!.

I took that over to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing and exchanged it for 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and 4 Old Spices in it. Not a bad haul today.
