Daily Fishing - The Ghostfish 1/25/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had The Ghostfish for Wranngar and Gomorra's daily fishing quest. This one is really easy but I hate the travel time involved.

This had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to the flight point at River's Heart in Sholazar Basin. From there I flew up to my spot up top and a little northwest of the flight point. I got my Phantom Ghostfish on Wranngar on his 10th cast and Gomorra got his on his 8th cast. I usually have pretty good luck there, getting my Ghostfish in 10 casts or less.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and told Marcia I figured out the secret. She gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g80s13c, 5 Pygmy Oil, 4 Deviate Fish and a Whale Statue, that I sold to a vendor for 11 gold, in it. Not a great day of fishing for Wrann but the statue made up for it a little.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g60s70c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking and a Diamond-tipped Cane. Gom got screwed on this one today.

Infused Mushroom Meatloaf - Daily Cooking 1/25/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Infused Mushroom Meatloaf for Wranngar and Gomorra's daily cooking quest.

This had me heading down into the Underbelly, the sewers below Dalaran, to pick Infused Mushrooms. This recipe calls for 4 and I got them pretty quick today. Once I had those I was off to the bank to grab some Chilled Meat for the other part of the recipe. I cooked my meatloafs at a fire someone had going inside the bank then headed over to see Orton Bennet, upstairs at Curiosities and Moore. I exchanged the meatloafs for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 5 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul for Wrann today.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices and 4 Old Spices in it. Not as good a haul as Wrann but not bad either.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 1/24/10

Today when I went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, she had Blood Is Thicker for the daily fishing quest. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra. This is an easy one, the only thing I don't like about it is the travel time although I took advantage of that to get my daily battleground out of the way.

This one had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to to the flight point in Un'upe, in the Borean Tundra. Once there I flew inland until I found a Marsh Caribou to kill. Killing that gets me covered in blood which is part of the quest. Covered in blood I flew back to the shore and jumped in, creating a blood pool. I fished the blood pool until I caught 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy. You catch them 2 and 3 at a time so it doesn't take long.

Once I had my 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Marcia. I traded her the Bloodtooth Frenzy for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g54s28c, 4 Pygmy Oil and 2 Solid Gold Coins. Wrann has had better days of fishing.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g79s75c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking, 2 Worthless Pieces of Red Glass and a Waterlogged Recipe. I love getting a Waterlogged Recipe, it starts a quest to take the recipe to Christi Stockton, the wine vendor at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran. She gives you 13g23s and 5 Dalaran Cooking Awards for your trouble. It only takes a few seconds to ride from Marcia to Christi and pays well, you can't beat it. Needless to say, Gom had a good day of fishing today.

Daily Cooking - Mustard Dogs 1/24/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Mustard Dogs! for Wranngar and Gomorra's daily cooking quest.

This one had me running all over Dalaran picking Wild Mustard in the grassy areas. I started out behind A Hero's Welcome, that is usually good for at least 2. I had no problem getting the rest I needed, 4 on each, as there seemed to be no one else doing it at that time. When I had the 4 I needed I headed over to the bank and grabbed 4 pieces of Rhino Meat to make the Rhino Dogs this recipe calls for. I cooked up the Rhino Dogs and combined them in the Empty Picnic Basket, I was given when I picked up the quest, to make a Mustard Dog Basket!.

I took that over to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing and exchanged it for 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag. He's a man who likes his Mustard Dogs and is pretty free with the Dalaran Cooking Awards.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices, 4 Baby Spice and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul for Wrann today.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices and 4 Baby Spice in it. Not a bad haul for Gom either.

Daily Fishing - Jewel of the Sewers 1/23/10

Today when I went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, she had Jewel Of The Sewers again for my daily fishing quest. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra.

This had me heading down into the Underbelly, the sewers below Dalaran, to the Black Market. I have my spot there where I have pretty good luck. I fished there until I caught the piece of Corroded Jewelry I was after, 7 casts on Wranngar and 3 on Gomorra.

Once I had that I headed back up to see Marcia and traded them in for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g69s31c, 3 Pygmy Oil and a Stuffed Shark Head. Not a good day of fishing for Gom.

Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 6g18s7c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking, a Tower Key, that I sold to a vendor for 16g66s66c, and a Waterlogged Recipe. I love getting a Waterlogged Recipe. This starts a quest to take the recipe over to Christi Stockton, the wine vendor at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran. She gives you 13g23s and 5 Dalaran Cooking Awards for it. A pretty good day of fishing for Wrann, he ended up making over 36 gold plus the 5 Dalaran Cooking Awards.

Sewer Stew - Daily Cooking 1/23/10

Today when I went over to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Sewer Stew for me. I did this on both Wranngar and Gomorra and it wiped out my supply of Chilled Meat to the point where I had to go out and farm one piece for Gomorra to finish it.

This had me taking the Violet Gate down to Crystalsong Forest. Once there I flew over to the ruins directly below Dalaran to pick some Crystalsong Carrots. This recipe calls for 4 and I got them pretty quick on Wranngar but when I went down on Gomorra there were 2 other people picking them so it took him a little longer. Once I finally had the 4 I needed I took the Violet Gate back up to Dalaran and headed over to the bank. That is when I found out I only had 7 of the 8 pieces of Chilled Meat I needed. I cooked my Vegetable Stew on Wranngar then had to head over to Sholazar Basin to farm some more Chilled Meat on Gomorra. I got over a stack so I would have some in the bank too. I cooked the Vegetable Stew on Gomorra then headed down to see Ajay Green at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly. I exchanged the stew for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices and 5 Baby Spice in it. Not a bad haul for Wrann.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 2 Northern Spices, 3 Old Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it. A lot of variety there but the Northern Spices are the only ones I really need.

Daily Fishing - Jewel of the Sewers 1/22/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Jewel Of The Sewers for Wranngar and Gomorra. This is the only daily fishing quest you don't have to leave Dalaran to complete.

This one had me running down to my spot in the Black Market. I got the piece of Corroded Jewelry quick today, 4 casts on Gomorra and 6 on Wranngar. I always have good luck in my spot there, I usually get it in under 10 casts every time. There is never anyone else there either so I don't have to wait or try to fish around someone.

I took the Corroded Jewelry back up to Marcia and traded her for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 6g7s71c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking and a New Age Painting signed by Marcia Chase. I like getting the painting, I sold it to a vendor for 25 gold.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g64s38c, 3 Pygmy Oil and a Velociraptor Skull. All junk for Gom today.

Convention at the Legerdemain - Daily Cooking 1/22/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, for my daily cooking quest, she had Convention at the Legerdemain for Wranngar and Gomorra. This one goes pretty quick but take a lot of mats, especially when you are doing it on two.

This one had me heading over to the bank to grab 4 pieces of Chilled Meat to make the 4 Northern Stew this one calls for. Once I had those cooked up I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran, and grabbed a Jug of Wine.

I took those over to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain and exchanged them for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. The Legerdemain is right across the street from One More Glass so that only takes a second.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad haul, not great but not bad.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices in it. Not a really great day all the way around.

Daily Fishing - Monsterbelly Appetite 1/21/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran had Monsterbelly Appetite for Wranngar and Gomorra.

This one had me taking the flight path out of Dalaran to Un'upe. Once there I flew out to sea in a southeasterly direction to the icebergs there. I had my fish tracking on so I flew around until I found a school of Deep Sea Monsterbelly. I fished that until I caught a Bloated Monsterbelly, which was 1 cast on Gomorra and 3 on Wranngar. I cut the Bloated Monsterbelly open and got the Severed Arm I was after then hearthed back to Dalaran.

This daily is the only one that doesn't get handed back in to Marcia, it gets handed in to Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange. She is going to attempt to reunite the arm with the fisherman who lost it, good luck with that. She gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 6g64s45c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking, 3 Solid Gold Coins, which I sold to a vendor for 3 gold, and 2 Deviate Fish. Any way you look at it, not a great day of fishing for Wrann. Less than 10 gold total.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g49s33c, 4 Pygmy Oil and a Diamond-tipped Cane. Not a great day of fishing for Gom either.

Sewer Stew - Daily Cooking 1/21/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, to get the daily cooking, she had Sewer Stew for Wranngar and Gomorra. This is the only daily cooking quest you have to leave Dalaran for, assuming you keep some meat on hand for the daily.

Knights of the Ebon Blade and Sons of Hodir Daily Quests 1/20/10

I did all the daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade and The Sons of Hodir on both Wranngar and Gomorra today.

There are 5, sometimes 6, I do for the Knights of the Ebon Blade and another 5 I do for The Sons of Hodir. These take me about 20 minutes each on each character and I generally make around 165 gold on each plus the garbage drops. I usually get 15-20 gold each in garbage drops, so figure around 400 gold a day. Not too bad for the amount of time it takes me.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 1/20/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Blood Is Thicker for Wranngar and Gomorra's daily fishing quest. This one is really easy, just takes some travel time.

Today Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g99s49c, 3 Pygmy Oil and 3 pieces of Worthless Green Glass. Not a great haul for Gom today.

Wranngar's Bag of fishing Treasures had 9g16s59c, a Glow Worm and 3 pieces of Worthless White Glass. Suffice to say everyone had a bad day of fishing.

Infused Mushroom Meatloaf - Daily Cooking 1/20/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, for the daily cooking quest, she had Infused Mushroom Meatloaf for Wranngar and Gomorra. All the daily cooking quests are fast and easy, some more so than others. This is a fast, easy one that doesn't take a lot of my mats.

I got them pretty quick, there didn't seem to be anyone doing it again today.
