I only did battlegrounds today, I fought in 10 AV on Wranngar. We had 3 wins and 7 losses. There were only a few though that we did really bad in though, the rest were pretty close. A really big factor in our losses is the number of AFK per battle. There were at least 10 AFK in each battle I was in, sometimes more. It is pretty sad, at one point everyone in DB was marked as AFK, the AFK usually run into DB at the start and go to the graveyards so it looks like they are rezzing. The really sad part is when the Horde move into DB and there is no defense although there are a dozen people there. That pretty much sums up my night in the battleground. In the 3 wins we had we rushed FWGY then moved forward to FWRH while some went back and got TP & IBT. In one of the battles we even got Galv first and still won although Galv was tried first in a few of the losses too. We won one of the battles on resources and the Horde won at least 3 of theirs on resources.

Battlegrounds 7/27/08
I was in 11 battles today on Wranngar, 1 Arathi Basin which was my daily and 10 Alterac Valley. We won the first Arathi Basin I was in for my daily. We started out with a 3 cap, ST, LM and BS, then we got the farm and eventually, around 1,000 resources, the gold mine. When you have a 5 cap the resources tick off really quick and it was over fast. We held the Horde at their GY after we had the 5 cap.
In Alterac Valley the first one I was in was a win, we rushed FWGY, them moved on to FWRH and went back and got IBGY, TP and Galv. Once we had everything capped we went in and took down Drek. It was a good easy win and I hoped that was the way AV was going but I guess that was too much to hope for. The next battle we had we tried the same plan as the first and almost pulled it off but the Horde ended up killing Vann before we could get Drek down. We proceeded to lose the next 5 battles too. A couple of them we didn't get any farther than IBGY and were lucky to kill Galv for some honor. Then we won one using the same strat as the first battle, we rushed FWGY then moved forward and backwards getting the towers and GY's. Once we had 3 towers capped we took down Drek for the win. The last 2 we lost, there was a lot of fighting among the Alliance and a lot of AFK in all the battles I was in. 
The AFK problem is getting worse if anything despite the fact Blizzard says they are taking action against people that are going AFK in the battlegrounds. I saw a couple people in there today that I saw in there weeks ago, still AFK. In my opinion Blizzard is doing nothing about this problem.

Daily's 7/27/08
I hadn't been on for awhile but I did get some time to play today. I did some of my daily's on Wranngar along with some battlegrounds. The daily's I did were the fishing which was Crocolisks in the City, the cooking which was Revenge is Tasty, along with Gaining the Advantage, The Multiphase Survey and the daily battleground which was Arathi Basin.
Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, sent me to Stormwind to catch a Baby Crocolisk. I went to my spot in the canal right outside the Mage Quarter and got one in 22 casts. When I turned that in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures I got 6g72s69c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Piece of Polished Driftwood. Nothing to write home about there.
The cooking quest had me heading over to Skettis to kill a Monstrous Kaliri for it's wing. Believe it or not, even though they were flying, the first 2 I killed didn't have a wing, the third one did. I took that back to Shattrath and cooked it up with some Warp Burgers to get my Kaliri Stew. I turned that in to The Rokk, (61,15) in Shattrath, and picked Barrel of Fish for my reward. I got 6 Spotted Feltail, 4 Zangarian Sporefish and a Hoop Earring along with the 7g59s this quest pays. Nothing too exciting there either.

The Multiphase Survey is pretty easy, just fly around and take samples from the fireballs you can only see wearing the special goggles. Battlegrounds 7/22/08
Today's daily battleground was Alterac Valley. Out of the 4 battlegrounds Alterac Valley is my favorite even though we don't win too often in there. I fought in 3 battles on Wranngar, 2 losses and one win. The first 2 battles we didn't do too good in. The first one we managed to get FWGY, the 2 Frostwolf Towers and had just gotten the relief hut when the Horde killed Vann. We didn't have a chance of winning that one as we didn't have IBT or TP and it didn't appear anyone was working on them so even if we got the relief hut we couldn't have taken Drek down. You can take Drek down with 2 towers up if you have a good group, this wasn't a good group. The second battle was even worse. In the second battle people were holding SHGY while we had SFGY so the Horde were in front of us the whole time. On top of that everyone was screaming to get Galv who is a small player in AV. 
So while everyone was concentrating on holding SHGY and getting Galv, who had at least half the Horde team defending him, the rest of the Horde walked into Dun Baldar, killed the AFK, and basically took it eventually killing Vann. That is usually what happens when Alliance holds SHGY, they leave Dun Baldar wide open. We weren't doing great in the third battle either but we won it. In that battle we rushed IBGY and wiped, then we regrouped again and got it. We got IBT and TP then someone took SHGY again which almost cost us the battle but we were able to hold onto IBGY and move forward to take FWGY. At this point 3/4 of the Horde team were turtling in Frostwolf Keep, the only place they had to rez was FWRH. In a long drawn out fight we were able to take the 2 towers and finally FWRH. By this time the Horde had SPGY and were moving into Dun Baldar. This wasn't a really big problem as they still had 3/4 of their team in Frostwolf Keep and 
didn't have enough in Dun Baldar to take down Vann if they got to him. As soon as we had FWRH capping so the Horde couldn't rez there we went after Drek. We had all 4 towers down so he didn't have any Warmasters with him. We took him down pretty quick for the win.

Daily's 7/22/08
I had time to do a few daily's and a few battlegrounds on Wranngar today :). The daily's were the cooking which was Super Hot Stew, the daily fishing which was The One That Got Away and Gaining the Advantage.
The Rokk, (61,15) in Shattrath, sent me out to Blades Edge to cook up some Demon Broiled Surprise. I grabbed the mats I needed out of the Guild Bank and headed over to Forge Camp Terror. I killed an elemental and cooked up my stew without any interference. When I turned this in I picked Barrel of Fish for my reward, as it seemes to have the better meat, and got 5 Zangarian Sporefish, 4 Figluster's Mudfish and 2 Clean Fishbones. I also got the 7g59s this quest pays. I cooked up the fish and put them in the Guild Bank for our guildies that don't have their cooking up.
Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, had me heading over to Nagrand to catch the World's Largest Mudfish. I went to my spot at Lake Sunspring (34,43) and started casting. I was using Seth's Graphite Fishing Pole, Spun Truesilver Fishing Line which gives you permanent +3 to your fishing skill when you put it on your pole, and a Sharpened Fish Hook which gives you +100 to fishing skill for 10 minutes. I got him in 6 casts so that wasn't too bad. I headed back and turned that in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. It had 6g81s22c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 4 Motes of Water. Nothing exciting there but I am due for something good, it had been awhile since I got anything good I could use from this quest.
While I was in Nagrand I stopped to Laughing Skull Ruins and killed some Clefthoof for Nether Residue. It took me a lot of kills to get the 8 I needed but I finally got them. I got a lot of good leather too so I am not complaining. When I turned this one, Gaining the Advantage, in I got 16g39s and a Major Rejuvenation Potion. After that I headed off to do the daily battleground which was Alterac Valley, my favorite :).

Daily's 7/20/08
I only had time to do 2 of the daily's on Wranngar today. The one's I did were the daily cooking which was Soup for the Soul and the daily fishing which was Shrimpin' Ain't Easy.
The daily fishing had me heading over to Umbrafen Lake (78,74) in Zangarmarsh to catch Bloated Barbed Gill Trout. When you open them up you find Giant Freshwater Shrimp inside. I had to catch about 8 to get my 10. Then I headed back over to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and turned them in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. I got 6g75s71c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 4 pieces of Salvaged Scrap Metal. Nothing great there and it has been awhile since I got anything good from the daily fishing so I am due for something good.

Old Man Barlo (40,59), at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, had me heading over to the Pools of Aggonar (39,37) in Hellfire Peninsula to catch a Monstrous Felblood Snapper. It took me a lot of casts, around 13 I think, to catch one. Once I had one I turned it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures which contained 6g54s82c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 3 pieces of Salvaged Scrap Metal. Nothing great there.

Daily's 7/15/08
I only did a few of my daily's on Wranngar today and none on Gomorra, just didn't have the time. The ones I did were the daily fishing which was Felblood Fillet, the daily cooking which was Revenge is Tasty and my daily skinning which is Gaining the Advantage.
The daily fishing had Old Man Barlo (40,59), at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, sending me out in search of a Monstrous Felblood Snapper. I went to the Pools of Aggonar (39,37) in Hellfire Peninsula to catch one. It took me over 20 casts to get one, this is one of those where you either get it in a couple casts or it takes you a lot. When I finally had it I turned it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures which contained 6g76s87c, 6 Sharpened Fish Hooks and an Ornate Drinking Stein which I vendored for 11 gold.

I think I will be picking Barrel of Fish for my reward from now on as the rewards are just better than Crate of Meat.
For Gaining the Advantage I headed over to Razorthorn Trail to kill and skin Ravagers for Nether Residue. It didn't take me too long to get the 8 I needed and I also got a bunch of meat. When I turned that in I got the usual 16g39s and a Major Rejuvenation Potion.

I handed in the daily fishing quest, Shrimpin' Ain't Easy, from yesterday on Gomorra today. I couldn't turn it in because of video problems yesterday which turned out to be my video card. That was about all I had time to do after I got my PC working again. When turned this in to Old Man Barlo (40,59), at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, I got 6g66s33c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Broken Spyglass for this quest. Nothing great but still a lot of good stuff to be had from this daily.

Daily's 7/13/08
I did some of my daily's on Wranngar today. I did the daily fishing which was Shrimpin' Ain't Easy, the daily cooking which was Soup for the Soul as well as Gaining the Advantage and The Multiphase Survey. I tried to do the daily fishing on Gomorra but I was having video problems and was unable to finish. I need to figure out if they are related to my video card, driver or WoW.

Before I could do that I needed to get some Clefthoof meat which I got doing Gaining the Advantage. Once I had that I cooked my soup at the Ancestral Grounds (25,59). When I turned this one in I picked Barrel of Fish for my reward and got 5 Golden Darter, 4 Spotted Feltail and a Ruined Fishing Net. Nothing to write home about there either but the Golden Darter were a nice reward :).

Daily's 7/12/08
I finally had a little time to get on today after work. I did some of my daily's on Wranngar and the daily fishing which was Felblood Fillet on both Wranngar and Gomorra. I also did the daily cooking on Wranngar which was Revenge is Tasty along with Gaining the Advantage.
The daily cooking had The Rokk (61,15) in Shattrath sending me over to Skettis to kill a Monstrous Kaliri for his wing. I got the wing I needed on the second kill. I flew back to Shattrath and cooked it up with some Warp Burgers to create Kaliri Stew. That done I turned it in and picked Barrel of Fish for my reward. That had 10 Figluster's Mudfish and a Fisherman Knife in it, nothing great there but I cooked up the fish and put it in the guild bank. I am doing this quest for the meat/fish now as I already have all the recipes available.
For the daily fishing I headed over to Shadowmoon Valley on Wranngar to my spot (40,59) by Wildhammer Stronghold. I got my Monstrous Felblood Snapper on the first cast and headed back to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest to turn it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. I got 7g50s, 6 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 2 Motes of Water. Nothing great there either but a lot of good rewards still to be had. Then I got on Gomorra and headed to the Pools of Aggonar (39,37) in Hellfire Peninsula to catch his. He got his in 4 casts and headed back to Old Man Barlo to turn in for his Bag of Fishing Treasures. He got 6g52s66c, Spun Truesilver Fishing Line which does me no good as I already have it on my pole and it doesn't stack but I will save it in case I get a better pole, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 3 Jaggal Pearls. I might log on later to do some battlegrounds, I still need some honor to upgrade my gear.
The daily cooking had The Rokk (61,15) in Shattrath sending me over to Skettis to kill a Monstrous Kaliri for his wing. I got the wing I needed on the second kill. I flew back to Shattrath and cooked it up with some Warp Burgers to create Kaliri Stew. That done I turned it in and picked Barrel of Fish for my reward. That had 10 Figluster's Mudfish and a Fisherman Knife in it, nothing great there but I cooked up the fish and put it in the guild bank. I am doing this quest for the meat/fish now as I already have all the recipes available.
For the daily fishing I headed over to Shadowmoon Valley on Wranngar to my spot (40,59) by Wildhammer Stronghold. I got my Monstrous Felblood Snapper on the first cast and headed back to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest to turn it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. I got 7g50s, 6 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 2 Motes of Water. Nothing great there either but a lot of good rewards still to be had. Then I got on Gomorra and headed to the Pools of Aggonar (39,37) in Hellfire Peninsula to catch his. He got his in 4 casts and headed back to Old Man Barlo to turn in for his Bag of Fishing Treasures. He got 6g52s66c, Spun Truesilver Fishing Line which does me no good as I already have it on my pole and it doesn't stack but I will save it in case I get a better pole, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 3 Jaggal Pearls. Nothing great there but better than Wranngar got :).
I took Wranngar and headed over to Razorthorn Trail to do Gaining the Advanatge. I killed a bunch of Ravagers to get Nether Residue. I was getting a pretty bad drop rate so I am wondering if the Clefthoof are dropping well again, I will check that out tomorrow hopefully. Daily's 7/9/08
I only got to do the daily fishing quest on Wranngar and Gomorra today. I started a new job recently and am still trying to get my routine down so it will be awhile before I am back into the swing of things. I don't have as much time to play anymore during the week, I didn't even have a chance to log on at all yesterday :(. The daily fishing today was Crocolisks in the City. I picked up the quest from Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and headed back to Shattrath to take the portal to Stormwind. When I got to Stormwind I headed to my spot on the bridge in the canals right outside the Mage District. I got my Baby Crocolisk in 9 casts on Wranngar and 4 casts on Gomorra. This is another one of those quests that seems like you get it in a few casts or it takes a lot. I hearthed back to Shattrath and flew back over to Old Man Barlo to turn them in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Wranngar's had 6g67s90c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Broken Spyglass which I sold to a vendor for 2 gold. Gomorra got 7g48s10c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife which I sold to a vendor for 4 gold. Nothing really good or profitable there today but there are still some good rewards to be had from this quest so I will keep on doing it. Some day I will hit the jackpot and get The 2 Ring :).

Daily's 7/7/08
I only had about 20 minutes to play today so I only did the daily fishing on Wranngar and Gomorra. It was Bait Bandits again today which was good, I didn't have far to travel so I was able to get it done on both. I flew over to my spot at the waterfall (51,38) by Tuurem and got my Blackfin Darter on Wranngar in 8 casts and Gomorra's in 3 casts. I went back to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and turned them in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Wranngar got 7g22s80c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Broken Spyglass. Gomorra got 6g71s59c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife. Nothing great there but there are still some good rewards to be had from this quest.
