Sewer Stew - Daily Cooking 4/12/10

Today when Brieanna went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome for her daily cooking quest, she got Sewer Stew.

This one had me taking the Violet Gate down to Crystalsong Forest. From there I headed over to the ruins directly beneath Dalaran to pick some Crystalsong Carrots. I love the way quest items sparkle now, it wasn't always like that. I got the 4 I needed pretty quick and took the gate back up to Dalaran. I hit the bank for 4 pieces of chilled meat then made a fire and cooked up my Vegetable Stew.

I took that down into the sewers, below Dalaran, to Ajay Green at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly, and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 4 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad day on this one.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 4/11/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Mustard Dogs! for us. I did this one on Wranngar, Gomorra and Brieanna.

This had me heading down into the sewers to pick Infused Mushrooms, I needed 4 for the recipe. It didn't take long to get them today, there was no one else around picking them and that makes it go a lot faster. Once I had the 4 I needed I headed up to the bank and grabbed a couple pieces of Chilled Meat to cook them up with. Then I built a fire and cooked up my meatloaf.

I took the meatloaf over to Orton Bennet, upstairs at Curiosities and Moore and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag.

Today Brieanna's Small Spice Bag had 9g93s, 6 Northern Spices, 4 Baby Spice and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul for her.

Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices in it. He didn't make out as well.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 5 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. He made out ok too.

Daily Fishing - Disarmed 4/11/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Disarmed for the daily fishing quest. I did it on Wranngar, Gomorra and Brieanna.

This is the daily fishing quest that replaced Monsterbelly Appetite in patch 3.3.3. It is only the second time it has come up in the rotation since then. This had me heading over to the entrance to Violet Hold, you're fishing in the water right across from there. The story is one of the guards got his arm torn off by an inmate who then threw it into the water there. You are trying to catch a Bloated Slippery Eel. It seemed like it took a long time to catch one today, there were other people fishing there too and they were there for a long time also. I finally got my eel though and when I opened it up I got the Severed Arm I was after.

I took the Severed Arm over to Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange in Dalaran. Like Monsterbelly Appetite, this is the only daily that does not get handed back in to Marcia. Olisarra is going to try to reunite the arm with the jailer who lost it, good luck. She gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my efforts.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 8g36s88c, 5 Pygmy Oil a Worthless Piece of Red Glass, and 3 Deviate Fish in it. Not a great haul for Wrann today.

Brieanna's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g24s36c, 2 Elixir of Water Walking, 2 Worthless Pieces of White Glass and 2 Deviate Fish. Not a great haul for Brieanna today either.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 3 Elixirs of Water Walking, 3 Worthless Pieces of Orange Glass and 3 Deviate Fish. Not a great haul for Gom.

It is safe to say no one had a great day of fishing but with all the Deviate Fish I got today I was able to cook up 2 more stacks of Savory Deviate Delight which I sold on the auction house for 25 gold a stack. Not a total loss after all.

Cheese for Glowergold - Daily Cooking 4/10/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Cheese for Glowergold for Brieanna.

This is a pretty easy one although I think the Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses are a little hard to target. Anyway, this had me running around Dalaran looking for Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. I got the first 3 before I left A Hero's Welcome and the other 3 at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop where I went for the piece of Aged Dalaran Limburger this quest calls for.

Once I had the 6 Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses and the piece of Aged Dalaran Limburger I combined them on the platter to make a Wine and Cheese Platter. I took that over to Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. Today my Small Spice Bag had 6 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it, a pretty good haul for Brieanna on this one today.

Daily Random Heroic Dungeon 4/9/10

I did the Daily Random Heroic Dungeon on both Gomorra and Brieanna tonight after taking a couple days off from them.

Gomorra ended up getting Utgarde Pinnacle for his. I like this one, it goes pretty quick and we usually don't have any problems in there. Tonight was no exception, we went through fast and smooth. I got my 2 Emblem of Frost and 26g46s plus a Emblem of Triumph for each boss we killed and, as we had Wintergrasp, some Stone Keeper's Shards.

Brieanna got Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom for her daily. I am not a big fan of this one. The only thing I really don't like about it is the last boss. He has this thing he does called insanity that makes everyone attack each other. They are actually mirror images that are attacking and they don't do much damage but it is still a pain. Still, we got through there without any problems, with the exception of the healer going AFK for a few minutes. If you are going to queue for a dungeon then have the time to do it I say. Someone going AFK holds everyone up. I completed that and received my 26g46s, 2 Frost Emblems along with a Emblem of Triumph for each boss we killed and some Stone Keeper's Shards, so all in all a good run.

Random Dungeons 4/9/10

I did some more random dungeons on Breeonna today along with questing. I got her up a couple more levels to 55 now, she is coming along nicely.

I queued into the same dungeon 4 times, Upper City in Blackrock Depths. That was the only dungeon I ended up doing on her tonight. I am so sick of that place. On the plus side I am now eligible for all of Dire Maul, Scholomance and Stratholme so hopefully I will be queuing into those tomorrow.

We had the usual problems of a couple of the groups falling apart and one of the we didn't end up finishing because everyone bailed, but I ended up with some pretty good groups in the other 3 after the quitters left. I got a couple nice items out of there tonight.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 4/9/10

When I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome. for the daily cooking quest she had Mustard Dogs! for me. I did it on Gomorra and Brieanna today.

As usual I headed to the courtyard behind A Hero's Welcome first to look for the Wild Mustard I was after. Today though there was someone back there picking Wild Mustard so I only ended up getting one piece from there. I got the other 3 over by the stairs leading up to the Violet Citadel. Once I had all 4 I headed over to the bank for some Rhino Meat.

That was when I remembered I didn't have enough Rhino Meat to do the daily on one toon let alone two. That had me heading out to Borean Tundra to spend a half hour farming Rhino Meat. I got a little over 2 stacks so I am stocked up again. I did the farming on Brieanna.

Back in Dalaran I cooked up 4 Rhino Dogs then combined them with the Wild Mustard to make a Mustard Dog Basket!, which I took over to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing and exchanged for 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag. Archmage Pentarus is always pretty free with the Dalaran Cooking Awards.

Today Brieanna's Small Spice Bag had 6 Northern Spices, 5 Baby Spice and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it, she made out really well today.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 5 Northern Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it, he made out well today too.

More Random Dungeons 4/8/10

I did some more questing and dungeons on Breeonna last night and got her a couple more levels, to level 53 now.

I got my quest done in the Temple of Atal'Hakkar, more commonly known as the Sunken Temple. I got a nice trinket, Enamored Water Spirit, out of it when I handed it in. That was worth it and was a pretty easy quest to do. I am at the level now where Sunken Temple is pretty easy, not that is was hard to begin with. I got queued into Sunken Temple twice last night but got the quest done the first time. A lot of times you will get queued into a dungeon because someone left for whatever reason and that makes it a little harder to get quests done, but I did 2 full runs.

I also did 4 runs through Blackrock Depths. I am at the level now where that is a lot easier than it was although there are still a lot of quitters that break up the groups. Out of the 4 runs I did manage to get the random done twice. In the last one I was in we lost a person, the healer, after we had killed the boss to complete the dungeon. We wanted to kill more bosses but we couldn't go back into dungeon finder for another person because it would have queued us into another dungeon as we had finished that dungeon's requirements. We decided to try 4 manning it and see how far we could get. I took over the role of healer and we did pretty well, we got 4 more bosses down and completed a quest I had before we wiped. I think we did really well considering we were short a person and had a DPS for a healer. I was alternating between DPS and heals during the fights so I was kept pretty busy.

Sewer Stew - Daily Cooking 4/8/10

Today when Brieanna went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she got Sewer Stew for her daily.

This had me taking the Violet Gate down to Crystalsong Forest to pick some Crystalsong Carrots. You need 4 along with 4 Chilled Meat for this recipe. There was no one around and it only took me a minute to pick my 4 Crystalsong Carrots today. Once I had those I took the gate back up to Dalaran and hit the bank for the Chilled Meat.

I cooked the stew up at the stove in the little side room at Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly, then delivered it to Ajay Green in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 5 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul for Brieanna on this one today.

Random Dungeons 4/7/10

I broke from my normal routine tonight and didn't do the daily cooking, fishing or even the daily random heroic dungeon on Gomorra or Brieanna. Instead I concentrated on leveling up my Shaman Breeonna.

What I am doing to level her up as fast as possible is a combination of questing and random dungeons. I am always either in queue for a dungeon or in a dungeon. I quest in between dungeons. There is a lot of XP to be had doing dungeons and the dungeon finder puts you into dungeons as soon as you are eligible for them. That gives you maximum XP and some nice rewards that are your level or a couple levels higher than you.

Using that technique I was able to level Breeonna 3 more levels tonight, from 48 to 51. She hit level 50 with 3 days 14 hours /played so she is on track to hit level 80 in under 10 days /played. I am doing this without using any leveling mods or helpers.

I was in 2 different dungeons tonight. The first one I was in was Sunken Temple located in Swamp of Sorrows. I got a nice cape out of there for her. The next dungeon I was in was Blackrock Depths. This one is a hugh dungeon and a lot harder than any I have been in so far. It took me 3 different groups to actually complete it once. It was a reminder of why I stopped doing dungeons in the first place, at the first sign of trouble the group falls apart, people leave and you are left without enough people to finish. Finally in the 3rd group I ended up with in there we completed the dungeon, by killing the required boss, then continued on to some of the other bosses. Altogether I spent 4 hours plus in Blackrock Depths with the 3rd group and we still did not get all the bosses down. The place is that big, we just ran out of time.

I got a Shaman quest to go back into Sunken Temple and collect some feathers so hopefully that will fall into my dungeon rotation tonight.

Daily Random Heroic Dungeon 4/6/10

The first thing I do every night when I log on to Gomorra and Brieanna is queue for the Random Daily Heroic Dungeon. It usually takes about 15 minutes for the dungeon finder to put together a group so I do the daily cooking and fishing quests while I am waiting. The Daily Random Heroic Dungeon is a 5 man dungeon.

The first random heroic you complete pays you 26g46s and 2 Emblem of Frost, every one you complete after that pays 13g23s and 2 Emblem of Triumph. Every boss you kill gives you another Emblem of Triumph. If we control Wintergrasp, which we usually do, you will also receive Stone Keeper's Shards. You can use the emblems to buy gear and you can use the Stone Keeper's Shards to buy heirloom gear, honor and mounts. You can also buy heirloom gear with emblems but you have to trade them around first.

Today Gomorra's Daily Random Heroic Dungeon was Trial of the Champion. This one isn't bad, for the first part you mount steeds and fight other mounted mobs in a jousting manner.

After that the Trial of the Champion consists of facing three of these five Grand Champions of the Horde:

• Deathstalker Visceri
• Eressea Dawnsinger
• Mokra the Skullcrusher
• Runok Wildmane
• Zul'tore

The second round consists of facing one of these two bosses:

• Argent Confessor Paletress
• Eadric the Pure

The third round consists of facing:

• The Black Knight

You can get some decent rewards from this one, Gomorra got a cape today that was the last piece he need to complete the Epic achievement.

Brieanna's Daily Random Heroic Dungeon was Forge of Souls. This is another easy one but the group I was in today wasn't very well geared so it was harder than it had to be. That is ok though, people have to get geared somewhere and the heroic dungeons are a good place to do it, some pretty nice gear drops in them that can help you along your way to the really good stuff. In this dungeon you fight an assortment of trash mobs and 2 bosses, Bronjahm and then the Devourer of Souls. Personally I think the first boss is harder than the second in this one. They both drop some pretty decent loot, Brieanna got the Needle-Encrusted Scorpion today and Gomorra got his sword, Seethe, in there on a previous run, both from the Devourer of Souls.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 4/6/10

Today when I went to see what Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had for us we ended up with Blood Is Thicker. This is a really easy one but takes some travel time. I usually queue for the random daily heroic before I start out so I would have had to wait for that anyway. I did this one on Gomorra and Brieanna today.

This one has me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Unu'pe, in the Borean Tundra. Once I land I fly straight inland until I find a Marsh Caribou to kill so I can get covered in blood. You can kill anything that is protected by the Druids to get covered in blood, I choose those because they are the closest. Once I am covered in blood I fly back to the shore and jump in. That washes the blood off me and creates a blood pool which I need to fish from to catch the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy Marcia wants. Catching 5 of those doesn't take long as you catch them 2 or 3 at a time. Once I have my 5 I usually hearth back to Dalaran and head over to see Marcia for my Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g39s93c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking and a Worthless piece of Green Glass in it. Nothing to write home about there.

Brieanna's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 6g11a75c, 4 Pygmy Oil and a Worthless piece of White Glass in it, at least the Elixirs of Water Walking Gom got are useful, her bag didn't have anything useful in it.

As usual I got the first 2 Wild Mustard in the courtyard behind A Hero's Welcome and the other 2 over by the stairs leading into the Violet Hold. Hopefully I won't get this one again tomorrow as I only have 3 pieces of Rhino Meat left now. I will have to get out and farm some more soon. I cooked up the Rhino Dogs and combined them with the Wild Mustard to make a Mustard Dog Basket!.

When I had the Mustard Dog Baskets made up I headed over to see Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing. Today they each got 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices in it and that was it.

Brieanna's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices too and that was it. Not the best of days for either of them but the extra Dalaran Cooking Awards were nice.
