Daily Fishing 6/8/08

I did the daily fishing quest on both Gomorra and Wranngar today. It was Felblood Fillet. I got the quest from Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and flew over to Shadowmoon Valley to catch a Monstrous Felblood Snapper. I got one on my first cast on Wranngar and my second cast on Gomorra. I went back to Old Man Barlo and turned it in for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Wranngar's had, 7g22s96c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hook's and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife. Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had, 6g52s84c, 3 Elixir's of Water Walking, a pair of Antique Silver Cufflinks which I sold to a vendor for 11 gold and a Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat. The fishing hat is one of the reason's I do the daily fishing quest even though most of the rewards are nothing to talk about. This hat gives +5 to fishing skill and you can use it to attach a lure to your fishing pole to increase skill by 75. With the hat on (+5) plus Seth's Graphite Fishing Pole (+20), a Sharpened Fish Hook (+100) and my 375 fishing skill on Gomorra my top end fishing skill is now 500 :).

Daily Cooking 6/8/08

Today's daily cooking quest was Manalicious. I had to fly out to the Eco-Dome in Netherstorm and pick Mana Berries. Really easy quest, doesn't take long at all. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra. You have to pick 15 Mana Berries to complete the quest and really the only thing you have a problem with is the Gator's and Lion's that attack you while you are doing it but even they are no trouble. I stopped by and did Sunfury Attack Plans on both on my way back to Shattrath. When I turned in I picked Crate of Meat for my reward on both. Wranngar's Crate of Meat had, 8 pieces of Buzzard Meat, 7 pieces of Warped Flesh and an Unidentified Eye. Not sure what the Unidentified Eye is for but I'll throw it in the pot anyway :). Gomorra's Crate of Meat had, 7 pieces of Clefthoof Meat, 8 pieces of Warped Flesh and a pair of Patchwork Gloves. No new recipes and really not anything good although the meat comes in handy. They each got the 7g59s that this daily pays. I will start picking Barrel of Fish tomorrow and will pick that all week, then the following week I will go back to Crate of Meat.

Daily's 6/8/08

I did all my Shattered Sun daily's on Wranngar today plus Gaining the Advantage and Sunfury Attack Plans. I went to Nagrand to do Gaining the Advantage and killed and skinned Clefthoof. I got some good leather out of it on top of getting the quest done. The daily's in Shattered Sun went pretty quick today too, the items were dropping good and I got them all done in about 40 minutes. I made about 120 gold on them which I sent to the bank with the other gold I made, about 175 gold altogether.

New look for - A World of Warcraft Blog 6/7/08

I'm sure you noticed the changes to the blog today. I added a left hand column and a header picture. I am not sure about the header picture and am looking for feedback. Any comments, positive or negative will be appreciated. I will be expanding more as time goes on so if there is anything you would like to see added just let me know and I will see what I can do. I would like to start a link exchange and will as soon as I can figure out how keep track of it.

Daily Battleground 6/7/08

Today my daily battleground was Eye of the Storm. I did it on Wranngar and it took me two battles to complete it. In the first battle we got beat pretty bad, We were just hitting the 1,000 mark when the Horde hit 2,000. It was a classic example of everyone trying for the flag instead of getting bases to bring it to. The Alliance had two bases for part of the battle but were down to one for most of it. In the second battle we were doing a lot better at the start, we got DR, MT and BET and were ahead by over 500 at the 1,000 mark. Then people started concentrating on the flag too much, which the Horde had 4 healers at, and we lost BET. Then we lost DR and got it back, same with MT. The Horde were running the flag the whole time. By the end we ended up winning 2000/1957 which was way too close for the lead we had in the beginning. Anyway all I needed was the win to complete my daily. I got 11g99s, 419 honor and 3 Eye of the Storm Mark of Honor which got mailed to me, I can't carry any more, as you can only have 100 at a time, and can't take them out of the mail so they will disappear in 24 hours. This weekend is AV's holiday weekend so I am staying away from there.

Daily Cooking 6/7/08

The daily cooking quest today was Soup for the Soul. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra. I got the meat I needed on Wranngar while I was doing Gaining the Advantage in Nagrand. Then all I had to do was fly over to the Ancestral Grounds, in Nagrand, and cook it up in the pot provided. I went back to Shattrath and turned it in. I picked Crate of Meat for my reward on both as was my plan for this week. I think starting Monday I will be picking the Barrel of Fish for my rewards on both and alternate between the two every other week. Wranngar's Crate of Meat had, 7 pieces of Clefthoof Meat, 6 Raptor Ribs and a Hunting Knife while Gomorra's had, 6 pieces of Buzzard Meat, 8 pieces of Clefthoof Meat and a pair of Patchwork Gloves in it. Of course they also both got the 7g59s that the daily cooking quest pays.

Daily's 6/7/08

I did all my Shattered Sun daily's on Wranngar in about 45 minutes today. There were not many people around so I had a lot of mobs to kill without much competition or waiting. I got The Air Strikes Must Continue done in one pass which is good, I hate having to take a second run for one or two mobs. I also did Gaining the Advantage on Wranngar by killing and skinning Clefthoof's in Nagrand at which time I was also collecting the meat I needed for the daily cooking quest on Wranngar and Gomorra. I really didn't spend too much time on daily's today but I was able to send over 225 gold to the bank.

Daily Fishing 6/7/08

The daily fishing quest today was Shrimpin' Ain't Easy. As it turns out it is pretty easy. I got it done in about 5 minutes or less on each character. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra. I had to fly over to Zangarmarsh and catch Bloated Barbed Gill Trout. Once I had about 15 of them I cut them open and took out the Giant Freshwater Shrimp inside. When I had 10 I flew back to Old Man Barlo and turned in. Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had, 7g36s51c, 2 Elixir's of Water Walking and a Gold Wedding Band which I could get 15 gold from a vendor for but I might put it on the auction house for 40 gold and see what happens. Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had, 6g73s8c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Piece of Polished Driftwood. There are still a few good fishing rewards I haven't got yet so I will keep plugging away at it. I also increased Wranngar's fishing skill to 341 today.

Daily Cooking - Gomorra 6/6/08

I got the daily cooking done just a little bit before the daily's rolled over for the day. It was Revenge is Tasty and I had to fly over to Skettis and kill a Monstrous Kaliri to get a wing. I got one on the first kill which was kind of nice and quick :). Once I had that I flew back to Shattrath and cooked it up with 3 Warp Burger's. That gave me Kaliri Stew. I handed that in and picked Crate of Meat for my reward. My crate contained, 8 Raptor Ribs, 6 pieces of Serpent Flesh and a List of Goods that I couldn't read because "Blood and water stains have made the list unreadable." I also got the 7g59s that the daily cooking quest pays.

Daily Fishing - Gomorra 6/6/08

I did the daily fishing on Gomorra today. It was Crocolisks in the City. I had to go to Stormwind City and fish in the Canal for a Baby Crocolisk. I got one in 5 or 6 casts. I went back to Shattrath, flew over to Old Man Barlo in Terokkar Forest and turned it in. Today was one of the day's that make it worthwhile to do the fishing quest, my Bag of Fishing Treasures contained, 6g98s73c, 2 Elixir of Water Walking, 2 Jaggal Pearl and Toothy's Bucket. You use Toothy's Bucket to summon and dismiss Toothy the baby crocolisk. This is a rare pet and the only way you can get it is through the daily fishing quest. I have attached a screen shot of Toothy.

Daily's 6/6/08

I only did one daily on Wranngar today and none on Gomorra. I will try to get the daily's done tomorrow before the daily's roll over but I might not get to them in time. The one I did was Gaining the Advantage, my daily skinning quest. I got some of it done while I was helping Yonezoe then I flew out to Nagrand and got the rest of them killing and skinning Clefthoof. I got some nice leather out of it too :). Gaining the Advanatge pays 11g99s and a Major Rejuvenation Potion.

Yonezoe 6/6/08

I helped Yonezoe some more today with Wranngar. We did some quests in Zangarmarsh, Terokkar Forest and The Bone Wastes. We had a pretty good time of it and she hit level 63 :). I think the leveling will go quicker in the Bone Wastes and hopefully we will be able to move into Nagrand soon.

Daily Fishing - Wranngar 6/6/08

I only did the daily fishing on Wranngar too today. I will definitely try to get that done on Gomorra before the daily's roll over. Today it was Crocolisks in the City. I had to go to Stormwind and catch a Baby Crocolisk in the canal. The story is people get them then flush them. It took me about 15 casts to get one today, usually it is only 3 or 4. When I had it I took it back to Old Man Barlo and turned it in. My Bag of Fishing Treasures contained 7g35s12c, Sharpened Fish Hookx5 and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife, nothing too exciting. There are some good rewards to be had from the daily fishing quest so I am going to keep on it.
