Blood is Thicker - Daily Fishing 12/27/09

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Blood Is Thicker for me again. This is another easy one, but takes some travel time.

This one had me taking the flight path to Un'upe. Once there I flew inland until I found a Marsh Caribou. I didn't have to go far, you start seeing them right at the snow line. I killed one which covered me in blood. Covered in blood, I flew back to shore and jumped in creating a blood pool. I fished that until I had my 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy. That was 2 catches, I got 3 in my first catch and 2 in my second.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Marcia. I turned the Bloodtooth Frenzy over to her in exchange for a Bag of Fishing Treasures which today had 9g95s29c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking, a Tower Key that I sold to a vendor for 16g66s66c and 2 Deviate Fish in it. Not a bad haul today with the Tower Key.

Brieanna - Level 51 12/27/09

I worked on Brieanna for a little while today and got her to level 51. I was questing in Un'Goro Crater for the most part and that's where she hit 51.

I have almost all the quests done that I can get in Un'Goro Crater. I have moved on to the Plaguelands and am questing there now. I am over half way through level 51 so I will hit 52 tomorrow, maybe even 53 depending on how much time I put into it.

Daily Cooking - Convention at the Legerdemain 12/27/09

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Convention at the Legerdemain for me. This is an easy one but eats up mats. I only have 3 pieces of Chilled Meat left now, I will have to go hunting tomorrow.

This one had me heading over to the bank for 4 pieces of Chilled Meat to make 4 Northern Stew. I grabbed that and cooked it up right outside the bank at a fire I built. With my stew in hand I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran, for a Jug of Wine. I found it outside today by the woman with the table set up.

I took that over to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain, and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. I guess I have to look at the extra award as 10 Northern Spices so that makes it a pretty good haul.

Sewer Stew - Daily Cooking 12/26/09

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, for my daily cooking she had Sewer Stew for me.

This had me taking the Violet Gate down to Crystalsong Forest then flying across the river to the ruins to pick some Crystalsong Carrots. There was no one there and I got the 4 I needed quick. I took the gate back up to Dalaran and headed over to the bank for 4 pieces of Chilled Meat to cook them up with, then I started a fire outside the bank and cooked my stew.

I took that down to Ajay Green, at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly, and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and 3 Old Spices in it. An ok haul today. I have 112 Dalaran Cooking Awards now and I will need to spend some on more Northern Spices soon. You get 10 spices for each award.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 12/26/09

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Blood Is Thicker for my daily. This is an easy one if a little time consuming for the travel and all.

I took the flight path out of Dalaran heading to Un'upe. I did a few battlegrounds on the way but eventually got there. Once I landed I headed inland until I found a Marsh Caribou to kill. If you head straight inland that is the first thing you will find that will cover you in blood. They are not very far inland, just at the snow line. I killed one and got covered in blood, then flew back to shore and jumped in. That washed the blood off me and created a blood pool for me to fish in. I fished that until I caught the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy this one calls for.

I flew back to Dalaran and handed those in to Marcia for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today my Bag of Fishing Treasures had 9g42s72c, 4 Pygmy Oil and a Sealed Vial of Poison. I love getting a Sealed Vial of Poison in my bag of fishing treasures, it starts a quest to deliver it to Alchemist Cinesra in The Black Market. That takes you less than a minute from Marcia and pays 13g23s, you can't beat that.

Brieanna - Level 50 12/26/09

I quested on Brieanna some more tonight and got her to level 50. I was questing in Un'Goro Crater when I hit 50 and had to go back to Ironforge to train, I also had some stuff I wanted to put on the auction house. While I was there training I got a quest from the Hunter Trainer that had me going to Azshara to do a few quests, that ate up quite a bit of time.

I am over half way through level 50 now and will hit 51, maybe 52 tomorrow depending on how much time I have. I put a bunch of leather on the auction house today and made over 60 gold off it. I will need to work on my Herbing some more, maybe I will do that tomorrow too.

There was a lot of action in Ironforge today, the Horde were trying to kill the King to get the achievement For The Horde!. That gets them a Black War Bear mount. Every time I saw in World Defense that Ironforge was under attack I would log over to Wranngar, who I had parked right outside the King's room, and kill some Horde. I got 11 kills altogether. I got there too late to get any kills most the time as it takes 20 seconds to log out if you are not in an Inn or city.

Brieanna - Level 49 12/25/09

Today I quested all over the place on Brieanna. I did one in The Hinterlands, one in Burning Steeps, two in Tanaris, and a few in Un'Goro Crater. Those had me running all over the place, I went to Darnassus, The Hinterlands and The Blasted Lands to complete quests.

She is moving along at a good pace and I should be in Outlands pretty soon. Her skinning is up to 335 although her Herbalism is still only 178, I will have to work on that. I would like to be able to train for Grand Master Skinning before I get to Outlands.

All the quests I did and have in Un'Goro Crater are orange and red so I will get some good XP from them. I have a lot of them too so I will be there for a couple days probably.

Monsterbelly Appetite - Daily Fishing 12/25/09

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Monsterbelly Appetite for me. This is an easy one if a little time consuming.

This had me taking the flight path to Un'upe. Once there I found a school of Borean Man O' War right on the shore so I fished that out, alway looking for those to make Black Jelly. Then I flew out to sea in a southeasterly direction until I came to the icebergs out there. I flew around until I found a school of Deep Sea Monsterbelly and fished in that until I caught a Bloated Monsterbelly. That contains the Severed Arm this quest calls for. I opened it up and got the Severed Arm out then hearthed back to Dalaran to go see Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange. She is going to attempt to reattach the arm to the fisherman who lost it. Good luck there...

She gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures which today had 8g6s26c, a Glow Worm and a Diamond-tipped Cane. really not worth flying all the way out to Un'upe for but you never know.

Brieanna - Level 45 12/23/09

I worked on Brieanna some more tonight and got her to level 45. I wanted to get her to level 45 before Christmas so I could do Metzen the Reindeer, which I did tonight. I have less than 3 bars to 46 now.

I finished up all the quests I could solo in Hinterlands, one left, then went back to Tanaris and got a couple more there. I did one quest that was orange but got less XP than one of the yellow ones I did, I don't understand that... I hit 44 in Tanaris while questing.

Right now I am questing in Searing Gorge, I started there after Tanaris while I was still 44, that is where I leveled to 45. The mobs I was killing at level 44 were level 47-49, orange and red to me, so I was getting good XP off the kills too. I have a few more quests there, mostly orange, that should get me to 46 easily. I will get more as I go along too. I want to do the one that gets me the Key to Searing Gorge, that makes things a lot easier.

Brieanna - Level 43 12/22/09

Brieanna is coming right along, I got her up to level 43 today. I finished up everything in Stranglethorn Vale and Alterac Mountains then moved on to Tanaris. I did all the quests I could there, with the exception of the dungeon which I will go back to, then went to the Hinterlands and quested for a while. I still have a few more quests to do there which will hopefully get me to 45, then I might check out the Swamp of Sorrows to see if they have anything for me. I am still too low to move into the Plague Lands.

Brieanna - Level 40 Now 12/21/09

I did a lot of questing on Brieanna today and got her to level 40. Level 40 is kind of a big deal. At level 40 Hunters get to switch from leather gear to Mail. It is also when you get your 'epic' 100% mount. You used to get your 60% mount at 40 and your 100% at 60 but they dropped them 20 levels each. I also made her a Christmas outfit to wear around town. It gives absolutely no protection so it is definitely something to wear when not in combat lol.

I cleaned up a lot of quests in Arathi Highlands and Stranglethorn Vale. I really like playing a Hunter, it seems to be pretty simple so far. I am having no problem soloing yellow and orange quests. I haven't tried soloing a red yet because I didn't have any in the ones I cleaned up. Maybe tomorrow I will try one of those. I was able to get her up 3 levels, from 37 to 40, pretty quickly.

I also worked on my Herbalism and have that up to 158 so that is coming along well. I can pick most of the Herbs I am finding while I am questing which is good, I hate having to go back and level up a profession. I have made over 80 gold in the last 2 days with her professions, Skinning and Herbalism. That is pretty good for a level 40 that just started Herbing yesterday I think.
