Battlegrounds 1/12/09

I did some battlegrounds on Wranngar tonight. The daily was Strand of the Ancients, one I had never done before. I ended up fighting in 6 of them, 3 wins and 3 losses. I am not really sure enough of what is going on to know what we did wrong in the 3 we lost but the Horde seemed really good in those battles. There are two rounds in Strand of the Ancients, in the first round the Alliance are the attackers and the Horde are the defenders. In the second round the Alliance are the defenders and the Horde are the attackers. The object is to attack the gates when you are the attackers and defend them when you are the defenders. You use tanks to attack and destroy the gates and the main objective is a relic. If you can get the relic you win that round. I don't know what happens if both sides fail to get the relic or if both sides do get the relic but I am sure I will find out soon enough. I was queuing out of Dalaran for this but I believe there is a Battle Master for Strand of the Ancients in Darnassus too. I also fought in 1 Eye of the Storm, a win, 1 Arathi Basin, a loss, 1 WarSong Gulch, a loss and 1 Alterac Valley also a loss. I will do some more Strand of the Ancients tomorrow, I was getting good kills and good honor. This could be the new AV.

Wranngar 11/29/08

I played Wranngar some more this morning. I got a few bars in and went to Darnassus to train. I got a few new ranks to my skills. I am assuming that I will train every level from 70 to 80 just like I did from 60 to 70. I did a bunch of quests in North Rend but didn't seem to get many bars out of them. It is going to take me awhile to get to 80 as I just don't have the time to play anymore like I used to and I also have my DeathKnight Wrangar that I am leveling up too. Wrangar is level 60 now. I am going to try and get on again later tonight and then some more tomorrow. I would like to get Wranngar to 73 and Wrangar to at least 61 before the weekend is over.

Wrangar 11/19/08

I played Wrangar, my DeathKinght, for about an hour and a half tonight and got him to level 59. I was questing in Hellfire Peninsula and it went pretty good for the most part. I got to 59 there and went to Shattrath to get a Heartstone from the Innkeeper at Aldor Rise so I could set that as home. I went back to Ebon Hold and got training and changed the runes on my sword, thinking the whole time I could take that portal to Stormwind. Funny story, the portal was only there for the quest. I flew back to Stormwind and then went to Darnassus because I was going to do some battlegrounds with him but then decided not too. I haven't been playing it long enough and don't think I am good enough with it to hit the battlegrounds yet. Besides I want to get both Wrangar and Wranngar to level 80. I expected to get on early and get a couple levels yesterday but ended up not getting on at all. Tomorrow I might have another chance to get on early and, hopefully, get a couple more levels.

Headless Horseman 10/18/08

Hallows End is upon us. One of the activities of this is the Headless Horseman. He is located in the Graveyard inside Scarlet Monastary. There is a quest I had to do in Goldshire on Wranngar so I could get the quest to go get the head of the Headless Horseman. Once I had that quest done I just hung around in Stormwind, which is a different place now that they applied the patch for Wrath of the Litch King, and watched trade chat until I saw someone looking for a dps for the Headless Horseman. When I had a group I headed up to Scarlet Monastary. No one in the group I was in had done the quest that day and the first time you do it you can do it twice. There were 2 of us that hadn't done it yet so we did it a total of 7 times. He has a chance to drop his mount which is very similiar to the war horse you can get in Kazharan but it didn't drop for our group. All in all it was pretty easy and we had no deaths. When Blizzard put in the new patch they added some new talents to the talent tree which caused them to refund everyones talent points. I was still trying to get my spec right so I was not 100% but that was ok, I spec for the battlegrounds anyway. There are a lot of new additions to the game already present for the next expansion, Wrath of the Litch King one of which is Stormwind Harbor. Now when you take the boat from Darnassus it doesn't take you to Wetlands, it takes you to Stormwind. They also added inscriptions and glyphs but I have not looked into them yet.

Brieanna 9/18/09

I went around and cleaned up a bunch of old quests that were in danger of turning Green on me. In the process I got Brieanna up to level 31. I did some questing in Wetlands, Duskwood, Stormwind and Southshore. It was in Southshore that I leveled to 31. I saw another mount I liked so I went to Darnassus and got it. I got the Reins of the Striped Frostsaber. Now I have 2 mounts to chose from, this one is already getting out of control :).

Brieanna 9/16/08

I finally got a mount for Brieanna tonight. I finished up some quests in Duskwood then headed over to Southshore and did a couple there. Southshore is where I leveled to 30 so all I had to do was fly over to Wetlands, take the boat to Auberdine then fly to Darnassus. I got the Reins of the Spotted Frostsaber. It is so nice to be mounted again, it will make things quicker going forward. It cost me a total of 45 gold to get the riding lesson and mount. After that I got my hunter training done and some pet training. I need to get more training points built up to train him some more.

Brieanna 8/26/08

I worked on my Hunter Brieanna a little today because I couldn't stand thinking about going into the battlegrounds the Alliance has been doing so bad. I made her awhile ago but haven't played it in quite awhile. When I logged in she was at level 10 and by the time I logged off I got her up to level 13. There was a lot of running around involved in the quests I was doing and that took up a lot of time. I originally had her professions as Mining and Engineering but I dropped Engineering today and took up Skinning, she is just going to be a money maker. I got a new pet today to replace the one I had, and it leveled up nice, it is already the same level as me. It is going to take some getting used to playing her, I have never tried a hunter before and it is a little different. I made the run from Darnassus to Ironforge then took the Deeprun Tram to Stormwind tonight and got all the flight paths on the way. Now I can go back and forth easier. I made her some new gear on Wranngar before I logged off and mailed it to her so I will equip her with that tomorrow. Now that the riding level is 30 instead of 40 for the first mount (60%) I should have her mounted pretty soon too. I need to work on my other skills too, cooking is only at 34, first aid is at 210 and fishing is at 24. I did take the time in Darkshore to do the quest The Family and the Fishing Pole and got her the Blump Family Fishing Pole, every little bit helps. It was kind of fun to be questing again and I will be back at it tomorrow. I still need to name my new cat so if anyone has any suggestions let me know.

Wranngar 5/12/08

I helped out Yonezoe some more today with Wranngar. We finished up a couple quests in Tanaris/Gadgetzan then headed to Desolace but the quests there were lower level so we headed to Searing Gorge but the quests there were too high so it was back to The Hinterlands. We did all the quests she was eligible for there and ended up in Darnassus to turn in. She leveled up to 43 yesterday after I logged off and leveled to 44 today :). After that Yonezoe had to log off so I took Wranngar and did the daily cooking quest, just got some meat and a level 9 knife, and Gaining the Advanatge then I hit the battlegrounds. The daily battleground today was Alterac Valley and it took 6 battles before we won one. I ended up fighting in 8 all together. I got a new mace for Wranngar for DPS with my honor. I got Gladiator's Maul. I lose 300 armor when I use that instead of my staff but I get more stamina, strength and attack power in cat and bear form. I will use the mace when I am fighting and use the staff when I am tanking. I had a lot of honor and marks piling up so I decided to spend some. My 2H Mace skill was only 150/350 so I went to Arathi Highlands then Western Plaguelands to level up my 2H mace skill. I got it up to 302 before I called it quits for the day.
