I Smell a Giant Rat

I was leveling Brieanna's fishing skill today in the Underbelly, on the dock at Cantrips and Crows Tavern, when I caught a Giant Sewer Rat. I have been trying to catch one of those on Wranngar and Gomorra (who have 450 fishing skill) for months now, and Brieanna gets one with her 365 fishing skill. This gave me the achievement I Smell A Giant Rat but more importantly it gave me a Giant Sewer Rat pet.

This is one of the rare pets that usually takes a long time to get. I can't even count the hours I have spent on Wranngar and Gomorra trying to get this pet, but it has been a lot. So far out of all my characters Brieanna has had the best luck fishing. In her first two days of doing the Shattrath daily fishing quest she got Toothy's Bucket and Snarly's Bucket. In her first week of doing the daily fishing quest in Dalaran she got a Bone Fishing Pole and she has also gotten other great rewards from both. Every day when she does the daily fishing in Dalaran I expect to see a Jeweled Fishing Pole in her Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Daily Fishing Quest - Northrend

The daily fishing quest from Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran was Dangerously Delicious today. For this one you need to go into Wintergrasp and catch 10 Terrorfish. You are flagged for PvP (Player versus Player) the whole time you are in Wintergrasp.

I stuck to my original plan on Gomorra and took the flightpath to Fordragon Hold then flew over to the southeast corner of Wintergrasp where I got my 10 Terrorfish in less than 5 minutes. Instead of hearthing I decided to go see if I could find the flight path in Wintergrasp. I have it on Wranngar from fighting in there but have never fought in there on Gom. It took me a few minutes but I found it and flew back to Dalaran to turn in. We were in control of Wintergrasp at that time. I turned it in but didn't get anything great in my Bag of Fishing Treasures.

When it was time for Wranngar to do it I decided to fly right to the flight path in Wintergrasp and try fishing in the water right there. When I got there Wintergrasp was contested which means the Horde and Alliance were fighting over it. There were a lot of other people there fishing too but a lot of room so not really crowded. Around the time I got my 5th Terrorfish the Horde took control of Wintergrasp. I caught the last 5 I needed while the Horde controlled Wintergrasp, then flew back to Dalaran and turned in. Wrann didn't get anything worth mentioning in his Bag of Fishing Treasures either.

I would recommend, if you have the flight path, that you just fly right there and fish, if not, fly to Fordragon Hold and then fly over to the southeast corner of Wintergrasp to fish, then you can hearth out or go find the flight path. I didn't get the coords of the flight path but it is on the eastern side right near the GY.

Dangerously Delicious

I finally got Dangerously Delicious from Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, for the daily fishing today. This one is by far the most dangerous of the daily fishing quests. For this quest you need to catch 10 Terrorfish and it seems the only place they can be found is in Wintergrasp, the Northrend PvP area.

I found a great spot that is set apart from the battleground area even though you get flagged as soon as you enter. You're in Wintergrasp, there's not much you can do about that, but I didn't see one single person while I was there. Wranngar can hold his own but it has been a looong time since I did any PvP on Gomorra.

I took the flight path to Fordragon Hold in Dragonblight. From there I flew southwest to the southeast corner of Wintergrasp. I flew over the Burning Cauldron and got dismounted for being in a no-fly zone but you get a parachute so it's not too bad. You want to try to land on the big piece of ice floating in the middle of the lake you are heading to. I missed on both Wranngar and Gomorra and ended up in the water but you should be able to do it :).

Once I got there I picked a spot right at the southeast end of the lake (77,70) and started fishing. From what I read you want to use a +100 lure even at maximum fishing. I didn't have any problem on Gom with his 422 fishing skill, +30 pole, +3 fishing line and +100 lure. That gave him a total of 555 fishing skill. It took me about 5 minutes on each to catch my 10 Terrorfish. Once I had my 10 Terrorfish I hearthed back to Dalaran and turned them in to Marcia Chase. The reward for this quest is a Bag of Fishing Treasures which can contain anything from pets to epic items to junk and anything in between.

So I had good luck in the southeast corner of Wintergrasp and got in and out on both without any PvP resistance. I did this during a time when we were in control of Wintergrasp, but where I was fishing I don't think it would have mattered if the Horde controlled it or even if we were in battle.

Update: I have had just as good luck flying into the Alliance flight point in Wintergrasp and fishing in the Sunken Ring right there. If you have the flight point it will be quicker and easier to just fly in, fish there, and fly out.

This was the last of the 5 daily fishing quests Marcia Chase had for me to do so when I turned these in on Gom and Wrann they both got the achievement Chasing Marcia.

Good Luck :)

The Ghostfish

I finally got The Ghostfish for my daily fishing quest today. Another easy one but a little more time consuming for the traveling and all.

I flew out to the flight point at River's Heart in Sholozar Basin, then headed up to the top of the cliff to the north. I found a log to stand on at 49,55 and started fishing for the mysterious Phantom Ghostfish.

I got Gomorra's Phantom Ghostfish on his 8th cast there. You don't need to fish from a school to catch these as they come attached to other fish you catch. Once you catch one you need to eat it right away, they are on a timer and only last 60 seconds. They start clocking as soon as you loot them. Eating it will complete the quest. If you don't eat it within 60 seconds it will disappear, so pay attention, they look just like Pygmy Suckerfish with a slightly different color. Wranngar got his Phantom Ghostfish on his 11th cast there.

When you eat the Phantom Ghostfish you get a buff that puts you into a state called Invisibility. It lasts for 15 seconds or until you break it by doing anything. If you have ever seen The Lord of the Rings, this is like when Frodo puts on the ring, it looks just like that. I will have to get a screen shot of it the next time this one comes up in the lineup. (screen shot added 5/7/09)

All you have to do after that is hand it back in where you got it, Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran. She will reward you with a Bag of Fishing Treasures that can contain anything from pets to epic items to junk and anything in between. Today Wranngar's had a New Age Painting signed by Marcia Chase. As priceless as that seemed, a vendor managed to put a price on it, 25 gold.

Jewel of the Sewers

We finally had a new daily fishing quest in Dalaran today, it was Jewel Of The Sewers. I got this from Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran. To complete the quest you have to fish up a piece of Corroded Jewelry in the sewers. I headed down into the sewers with no real idea where I was going to fish for this.

I tried the middle first, the Circle of Wills, but didn't have any luck after 10 casts so I headed over to the Black Market to see if I would have any better luck. This was on Wranngar and he ended up getting the piece of Corroded Jewelry he needed to complete the quest on his 8th cast in the Black Market.

The quest gives you a tip, "The trick is to let your hook drag the bottom and don't pull up too hard when get something". I fished this like I was fishing anything else, right clicked on my bobber as soon as it bobbed and got my loot.

I did it again on Gomorra after that and decided to try over by the Cantrips and Crows Tavern first, to see if I could get one there. I gave up there after 10 casts and headed over to the Black Market. I got my piece of Corroded Jewelry on my 2nd cast there.

This quest gets turned back in to Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran. The reward is a Bag of Fishing Treasures which can contain anything from pets to epic gems to worthless pieces of glass, that sell for 5 copper each to a vendor, and anything in between. It always contains some gold too, anywhere from 6 to 10 gold along with some silver and copper.

I would definitely say the place to fish for Corroded Jewelry is in the Black Market. There was hardly anyone there (one other person) when I was fishing. There were a few people fishing in the middle and a lot of people fishing over by the Cantrips and Crows Tavern. This is the first time I have seen this quest in the lineup since I started the daily fishing in Dalaran a couple days after patch 3.1.

There are still 2 more I have not seen yet, Dangerously Delicious and The Ghostfish. Hopefully they will show up soon, I will let you know how I make out.

Good Luck :)

Daily's Wranngar 2/24/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and did the daily cooking which was Mustard Dogs!. This can be a really easy one if not too many people are doing it or a really hard one if everyone is trying to do it at the same time. If everyone is trying to do it at the same time I usually go and do my other daily's and then come back to it. Today was an easy day and I got my 4 Wild Mustard pretty quick. I went to the bank and grabbed 4 Rhino Dogs which I cooked up with the Wild Mustard into a Mustard Dog Basket!. I headed off to deliver it to Archmage Pentarus by the flight master in Dalaran but got distracted, went right by him with his big yellow ? over his head, and took off to do my daily's for The Kalu'ak. I ended up turning it in when I got back from doing all my daily's. I got my usual 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. Today my Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices, 5 Old Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award. I went to the cooking vendor to get the next recipe in my The Northrend Gourmet Achievement which I thought was Recipe: Spiced Wyrm Burger but when I went to buy it it said I already knew it. I checked in my recipe list and sure enough there it was. It was one of the first ones I got and, apparently, never cooked. I ended up getting the next one in the list which was Recipe: Spicy Fried Herring. I cooked them both up and now I am only 2 recipes away from my chef title. That turned out to be a nice surprise.

I got my daily's for The Kalu'ak done pretty quick today, got all the drops I needed really fast. I am now 14310/21000 reputation with them so it won't be much longer until I get the Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole. I went over to K3 in The Stormpeaks and did Overstock. As usual this quest only took me a few minutes and I collected my 13 gold and was on my way. I headed to Icecrown to do my Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's from there. I got those done pretty fast too, everything was dropping like clockwork and I breezed right through them. There are 6 that I do for them:

From Their Corpses, Rise!
No Fly Zone
Intelligence Gathering
Leave Our Mark
Shoot 'Em Up
Vile Like Fire!

I get around 80 gold for all 6 of them. Today I forgot to do Shoot 'Em Up and had to go back and do it so that took me a few extra minutes. My reputation with the Knights of the Ebon Blade is 19045/21000. I am pretty close to being exalted with them too. It will not be tomorrow, it will be the next day. Then a few days after that I will be exalted with The Kalu'ak.

Gomorra 2/07/09

I took Gomorra out of retirement tonight and got him Spec'd again. After that I went to Northrend and got him Grandmaster Cooking, Grandmaster Fishing, Grandmaster First Aid and Grandmaster Tailoring. I got his tailoring up to 389 today too. I did some quests there and got around 5 bars of experience. All his experience is rested and I am sure it will all be rested all the way through to 80 because I am not going to rush him. I need to get a port to Dalaran so I can get him the Reins of the Armored Brown Bear and Armored Snowy Gryphon mounts. I can't fly in Northrend yet but I will get the flying mount anyway because I can use it in Outlands until then.

Saturday 1/31/09

I got on Wranngar for awhile tonight and did a couple daily's. I did the Dalaran cooking which was Cheese for Glowergold. I don't really like this one because you have to find 6 half full wine glasses around Dalaran and it always seems like there is a lot of people doing it. Takes awhile to get 6 of them. Then you have to go over to the cheese shop and wait for the cheese to spawn. When I had that done I handed it in and got my Dalaran Cooking Award and Small Spice Bag, which had 4 Northern Spices in it, and the 9g93s this quest pays. After that I went to see what Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, had for me. He had Bait Bandits so I flew over to my spot at the waterfall by Tuurem (52,37) in Terokkar Forest and got my Blackfin Darter on the 21st cast. Took awhile today. I handed that in and got my Bag of Fishing Treasures which had 6g55s66c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Noble's Monocle in it. I got 11 gold for the Noble's Monocle. I finally found where to catch Deep Sea Monsterbelly when I was fishing for Moonglow Cuttlefish. There where schools everywhere and by the time you got done fishing one another one would show up. I was using my fish tracking skills which helped out a lot. I was getting schools of both the Moonglow Cuttlefish and Deep Sea Monsterbelly but mostly the Deep Sea Monsterbelly. I ended up getting 63 Deep Sea Monsterbelly and 22 Moonglow Cuttlefish. Didn't take me that long either as I was fishing schools. The loaction is off the shore from Unu'pe (Borean Tundra) at 32,66 among the icebergs. I was able to cook 2 recipes I had with those and got the 2nd part of the Northrend Gourmet done. Now I just have to cook 15 more recipes and I will get my chef title. First I have to get 15 more recipes lol. I did one Eye of the Storm after that which we won. It was a really close battle with each side holding 2 towers pretty much thoughout although they were not always the same 2 towers. We won by less than 200 points. I should be able to get on early tomorrow and want to do a bunch of dailys, I want to start making some gold again.

Wranngar 1/27/09

I played Wranngar for a while tonight and got the daily cooking done in Dalaran. It was Convention at the Legerdemain again. I grabbed 4 Chilled Meat from the guild bank and cooked it up then ran over to the wine shop and grabbed a jug of wine. Once I had all that I delivered it and collected my 9g93s, Dalaran Cooking Award and Small Spice Bag. My Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices in it. Not too bad. After that I did the daily cooking from The Rokk, (61,15) in Shattrath, which was Revenge is Tasty. I got my wing on the 3rd kill and cooked it up with 3 Warp Burgers. I turned that in and got 75s, 11 Figluster's Mudfish and a Silver Hook. From there I went over to Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, and got the daily fishing quest which was The One That Got Away. I got my World's Largest Mudfish on the 18th cast but I got a bunch of other good fish in the process too. I turned that in and got 7g31s75c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Piece of Polished Driftwood. After that I went to Ironforge and made 8 pieces of leather armor for someone using their mats. I didn't have the pattern but they did and they gave it to me for making the armor. I told them I would give them a few gold for it but they said making the armor was enough. It was a level 26 item but a pattern I didn't have.

Wranngar 1/23/09

I played Wranngar some tonight. I did the daily cooking in Dalaran which was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf AGAIN!!! Go Blizz..... Anyway I headed back into the sewers to get some Sewer Mushrooms (Infused Mushrooms) and, once I had them, I cooked them up with a couple Chilled Meat and that gave me my Infused Mushroom Meatloaf. I delivered that and got my Dalaran Cooking Award and Small Spice Bag. My Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices in it. After that I took the portal to Shattrath and got the daily fishing quest from Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, which was The One That Got Away. I headed out to Nagrand and got the World's Largest Mudfish on my 11th cast. I turned that in and got nothing worth mentioning. Then I noticed that the Lunar Festival had started. I checked that out for a little while then flew back to Darkshore and took the boat to Stormwind. A couple Horde rode the boat with me, one flagged. I followed the flagged one when he got off the boat and when he went into the park me and a Mage killed him. I felt a little bad afterwards because he was just trying to do one of the Lunar Festival quests. After that I headed back to Dalaran and called it a night.

Wranngar 1/22/09

I only had time to get on and do the Dalaran daily cooking quest tonight. It was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf AGAIN! I did it on Wranngar. I headed down into the sewers for some sewer mushrooms. I got the 4 I needed pretty quick but there seemed to be a lot of people doing it today. I cooked that with 2 pieces of chilled meat to make my Infused Mushroom Meatloaf. I delivered that and got my Dalaran Cooking Award and Small Spice Bag. My Small Spice Bag contained 3 Northern Spices so it was a slightly better reward than yesterday. I might have a little time to get back on later tonight.

Wranngar 1/21/09

I played Wranngar for awhile tonight. I did the daily cooking in Dalaran which was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf again. I headed down into the sewers to pick some mushrooms and got the 4 I needed pretty quick. Once I had them I cooked them up with a couple Chilled Meat and delivered them. I got the Dalaran Cooking Award the quest gives daily but my Small Spice Bag only had 2 Northern Spices in it. Another disappointing daily cooking :(. From there I headed over to see The Rokk, (61,15) in Shattrath, to see what the daily cooking was there. It was Manalicious. That one is not worth the effort when you already have all the recipes so I skipped it. From there I headed over to Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, to see what he had for me. He gave me Bait Bandits which is a quick easy one. I flew to my spot by Tuurem (52,37) in Terokkar Forest and got my Blackfin Darter on the 9th cast. Yes, that's right, the 9th cast. Evidently they fixed this daily in the last patch so you don't get your quest fish on the first cast anymore. Well it was good while it lasted. After that I got the daily battleground which was Strand of the Ancients. We won the first one I was in so I turned that one in. That was about all I did tonight, I got on late and didn't have much time. Hopefully I will get on earlier tomorrow and have more time.

Wranngar 1/20/09

I only had time to do the Dalaran daily cooking on Wranngar tonight. It was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf and only took me a few minutes, I found all my mushrooms quickly today. Once I had the 4 mushrooms I needed I headed to the bank to grab a couple pieces of Chilled Meat to cook it with. I cooked it up and delivered it. My Small Spice Bag had 5 Northern Spices in it, a much better reward than yesterday. With the Dalaran Cooking Award I received today I had 3 so I got Recipe: Small Feast with them and learned that. That was about all I had time for tonight. I loaded the new patch but that didn't take long.

Wranngar 1/19/09

I played Wranngar some today and ended up doing 15 daily quests, one of which was the daily cooking in Dalaran. The daily cooking today was Sewer Stew and had me heading to Crystalsong Forest to pick some Crystalsong Carrots so I could cook it up with some Chilled Meat. Once I had 4 of them I headed back to Dalaran and cooked it up. Then I headed down into the sewers and delivered it to the innkeeper at the inn where I stay. All I got in my Small Spice Bag was 2 Northern Spices, another disappointing day. I also did the daily cooking in Shattrath which was Manalicious and the daily fishing in Terokkar Forest which was The One That Got Away. I got the usual rewards for those, nothing special. I did a bunch of daily's for the Knights of the Ebon Blade and one in K3. I did a bunch of others too and made about 180 gold. The daily battleground today was Alterac Valley. I grabbed the quest and went to queue when I saw that there were no battles going on so I dropped the quest. If I had gone in we would have started 10 to 40, after a long wait, and gotten owned so I didn't bother. I did do 9 Eye of the Storm battles though, 5 wins and 4 losses. We had our 5 wins right in a row, the first 5 I was in, then you could just see the quality of the players change, I don't know if nap time got over or school got out but we started losing and I mean losing hard. In the first 5 we held at least 3 towers and ran the flag. We won one battle 2000/2. Then it all changed, it wasn't the same people and we were lucky if we weren't rezzing on the rock. Hopefully tomorrow's battleground will be something other than Alterac Valley.

Wranngar 1/18/09

I played Wranngar for a while tonight. I did the daily cooking in Dalaran which was Cheese for Glowergold. I ran around Dalaran getting half filled wine glasses until I had enough then I ran over to the cheese shop and got the cheese I needed. After I put the cheese on the platter I delivered it and got my Small Spice Bag. That contained 6 Northern Spices and a Dalaran Cooking Award. Much better than my reward from yesterday. I did the daily fishing quest from Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest. It was The One That Got Away which had me heading over to Lake Sunspring (34,43) in Nagrand. I got the World's Largest Mudfish on my first cast and headed back to Terokkar Forest. I turned it in and didn't get anything to speak of for rewards. From there I headed to Ironforge to turn some Borean Leather into Heavy Borean Leather for someone that was looking in trade. From there I headed back to North Rend, did some fishing, got my fishing up to 423, and eventually made my way back to Dalaran. I picked up a couple pieces of new gear today. I got Trollwoven Spaulders and Chain Gang Legguards. They gave me a few hundred more stamina and increased my armor and attack power. I also made a few things and got my leatherworking up to 431 and cooked a few dishes to get my cooking up to 431.

Wranngar 1/15/09

I only had about an hour tonight on Wranngar so I did the daily cooking in Dalaran and the daily fishing in Terokkar Forest. The daily cooking was Quest: Infused Mushroom Meatloaf again so I headed down into the sewers in search of some mushrooms. I got the 4 I needed in a couple minutes, it went really quick today, there must not have been many people doing it at that time. I only saw one other person picking mushrooms while I was down there. After I had them I cooked them up with a couple pieces of Chilled Meat and turned it in. I didn't get an extra Dalaran Cooking Award in my Small Spice Bag but I did get 3 Northern Spices. I have 2 Dalaran Cooking Award's so tomorrow I will be able to get another recipe. After that I took the portal to Shattrath and got the daily fishing quest from Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest, which was Bait Bandits. I didn't do the daily cooking in Shattrath because it was one that required a lot of travel, I would have had to farm the meat because I didn't have any in the guild bank and there are really no rewards left from that quest, I have all the recipes and the meat you get as a reward is nice but sometimes not worth the effort. Anyway I flew over to the waterfall I do Bait Bandits at by Tuurem (52,37) in Terokkar Forest. I got my Blackfin Darter on the first cast and handed it in. The rewards were the usual, nothing special. Hopefully I will have more time tomorrow to do some battlegrounds. Arkantose has been wanting to do some battlegrounds with me.

Wranngar 1/14/09

I did the daily cooking in Dalaran on Wranngar as well as the daily cooking in Shattrath and the daily fishing in Terokkar Forest. The daily cooking in Dalaran was Quest: Infused Mushroom Meatloaf. It is a pretty easy quest that doesn't take long as long as you have some Chilled Meat in stock. I used my last 2 pieces so after I turned in I headed out to get some more. I headed to Sholazar Basin and got 32 pieces in about 20 minutes or so. I got a bunch of leather from that outing too. After that I headed to Shattrath and picked up the daily cooking, from The Rokk, (61,15), which was Soup for the Soul. I grabbed 4 Roasted Clefthoof from the guild bank then headed out and cooked it up. I turned it in but didn't get anything worth talking about. I did the daily fishing next which was Felblood Fillet. I flew over to the Pools of Aggonar (39,37) in Hellfire Peninsula and got my Monstrous Felblood Snapper on the first cast. Since the expansion I always get my daily fishing quest item on the first cast. The only good reward from that one was a Gold Wedding Band which I sold to a vendor for 15 gold. The daily battleground today was Eye of the Storm. We won the second one I was in. The first one started off pretty good, we had 2 towers and were taking a third when it all fell apart and we eventually ended up rezzing on the rock. In the second battle we had 2 towers at all times and 3 for the most part. We ran the flag a lot and it made for a pretty quick win.

Wranngar 1/13/09

I did the daily cooking in Dalaran on Wranngar and got another Dalaran Cooking Award which allowed me to get Recipe: Dragonfin Filet. I cooked up 4 of them because I needed it for the North Rend Gourmet Cooking Achievement and that got my cooking to 428. I also got 3 Northern Spices in my Small Spice Bag from that daily. I went and did the daily fishing and cooking in Outlands too. It only took a few minutes but I didn't get anything good. After that I went into the battlegrounds. The daily was Alterac Valley and I fought in two of them but stopped because they were taking forever to get into and were so imbalanced once I did get in. We had one battle that was 11 Allaince versus 40 Horde, a little uneven. Anyway I fought in 2 battles there and they were both losses. Then I went into the Strand of the Ancients. I fought in 3 battles in there, 1 win and 2 losses. I am still undecided how I feel about this battleground. Sometimes I really like it and other times not so much. The was one incident in the first loss we had where I died right before the Horde captured the Titan Relic and all of a sudden there was a load screen and I found myself in Westfall at the graveyard with a 15 minute deserter debuff on me. Strange thing is I queued for the battleground out of Darnassus so I am not sure how I eneded up there. I might get on a little later and do a few more battlegrounds.

Battlegrounds 1/12/09

I did some battlegrounds on Wranngar tonight. The daily was Strand of the Ancients, one I had never done before. I ended up fighting in 6 of them, 3 wins and 3 losses. I am not really sure enough of what is going on to know what we did wrong in the 3 we lost but the Horde seemed really good in those battles. There are two rounds in Strand of the Ancients, in the first round the Alliance are the attackers and the Horde are the defenders. In the second round the Alliance are the defenders and the Horde are the attackers. The object is to attack the gates when you are the attackers and defend them when you are the defenders. You use tanks to attack and destroy the gates and the main objective is a relic. If you can get the relic you win that round. I don't know what happens if both sides fail to get the relic or if both sides do get the relic but I am sure I will find out soon enough. I was queuing out of Dalaran for this but I believe there is a Battle Master for Strand of the Ancients in Darnassus too. I also fought in 1 Eye of the Storm, a win, 1 Arathi Basin, a loss, 1 WarSong Gulch, a loss and 1 Alterac Valley also a loss. I will do some more Strand of the Ancients tomorrow, I was getting good kills and good honor. This could be the new AV.

Wranngar 1/12/09

I played Wranngar for a couple hours tonight and got the daily cooking done and got his fishing skill to 420. I was fishing off the coast of Borean Tundra trying to catch Deep Sea Monsterbelly's so I could make Gigantic Feast but I didn't have any luck. I figured I would get my 10 points in anyway while I was there. I got a lot of good fish which I put in the guild bank for later use. I got a Dalaran Cooking Award in my Small Spice Bag today so I only need one more to get another recipe. I also went to the auction house and got every recipe I didn't have, except for the crazy priced ones. They were mostly lower level recipes but I want to have them all anyway so why not. I learned those and now I know 126 recipes. I also earned the Achievement for catching 500 fish. I know I have caught a lot more than 500 fish in my time but this must have started counting when this whole Achievement thing started. I looked in the auction house for Northern Spices and they are going for 5 gold each or a stack of 20 for 100 gold. That is outrageous seeing how you can get 10 for one Dalaran Cooking Award from the cooking vendor in Dalaran. I will just get mine that way because I am not paying 100 gold a stack for them.
