Infused Mushroom Meatloaf

Infused Mushroom Meatloaf is another easy one. If you're Alliance you get Infused Mushroom Meatloaf from Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome. If you're Horde you get it from Awilo Lon'gomba (70,38), inside The Filthy Animal next to Krasus' Landing.

The mats for this daily are 2 Chilled Meat and 4 Infused Mushrooms.

You get the Infused Mushrooms down in the sewers in the Underbelly below Dalaran. There is an entrance to get down there right outside Krasus' Landing and another one diagonally across town from it next to the Magus Commerce Exchange. Infused Mushrooms are blue, and being a quest item they sparkle. You will find them growing all over the place down in the Underbelly. Don't forget to look in the Black Market. You right click on them to loot them.

Once you have 4 of them you need to cook them up with the Chilled Meat in the meatloaf pan you were supplied with when you got the quest. All you need to do is right click on the meatloaf pan while you are standing near a fire with the mats in your inventory. This will give you your Infused Mushroom Meatloaf which you deliver to Orton Bennet upstairs at Curiosities and Moore.

He will give you 9g93s, at least one Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag that can contain any, or all, of the following:

Northern Spices
Old Spices
Baby Spice
Dalaran Cooking Award
And if you don't have it, Recipe: Delicious Chocolate Cake. (This is a rare drop, 1.7%)

This is another easy quest, just remember to keep some Rhino Meat and Chilled Meat on hand, it makes these daily's go so much quicker.

Good Luck :)

Sewer Stew

This is a pretty easy quest and is the only one that you need to leave Dalaran for to get mats. If you're Alliance you get Sewer Stew from Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome. If you're Horde you get it from Awilo Lon'gomba (70,38), inside The Filthy Animal next to Krasus' Landing.

The materials you need for this daily are 4 Crystalsong Carrots and 4 Chilled Meat.

You will find the Crystalsong Carrots in Crystal Song Forest right below Dalaran (around 29,42) near some ruins by the river. They look like giant carrots sticking out of the ground and, being a quest item, they sparkle. You need to run around and right click on them to loot them. Once you have 4 Crystalsong Carrots you cook them up with your 4 Chilled Meat to make Vegetable Stew.

When you have your Vegetable Stew cooked up you can deliver it to Ajay Green at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly.

Cheese for Glowergold

Cheese for Glowergold is my least favorite daily cooking quest in Dalaran. To say I hate it wouldn't be going too far at all. If you're Alliance you get this one from Katherine Lee (41,65), in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome. That is where all the Alliance daily cooking quests start. If you're Horde you get it from Awilo Lon'gomba (70,38), inside The Filthy Animal next to Krasus' Landing.

The objective of this daily is to run all over Dalaran collecting Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. You need 6 of them. If you think Wild Mustard is hard to target, I know I do, then you're in for a real treat. You will also have to pick up a chunk of Aged Dalaran Limburger from One More Glass (53,33), the wine and cheese shop in central Dalaran. This item spawns and can spawn anywhere inside the store, upstairs or down.

The most common places to find the Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses are in the Legerdemain, A Hero's Welcome, One More Glass, (upstairs and down in those three) and a place everyone seems to overlook, Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly. Between both my characters I got 5 out of Cantrips and Crows Tavern tonight, it was the most I got at any single stop. You can get one or two in other places but these seem to have the highest concentration and spawn rate. Once you have the 6 Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses and the chunk of Aged Dalaran Limburger you will need to combine them on the platter you were supplied with. To do this simply right click on the platter. You do not need a cooking fire to combine them.

Deliver them to Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange. He will give you 9g93s, at least one Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag that can contain any, or all, of the following:

Northern Spices
Old Spices
Baby Spice
Dalaran Cooking Award
And if you don't have it, Recipe: Delicious Chocolate Cake. (This is a rare drop, 1.7%)

Good Luck :)

Convention at the Legerdemain

The daily cooking quest in Dalaran today was Convention at the Legerdemain. This is one of the easier daily's. Like most of the daily cooking quests, if you have meat on hand, you don't have to leave Dalaran to complete it.

You need to head over to One More Glass, the Wine and Cheese Shop in central Dalaran (53,33) for a jug of wine. For those without coord's it is to the right as you come out of Krasus' Landing, go past the Mount Vendor and the Stables and it is right there on the right. This item spawns and it can spawn behind the counter the man is standing at, on the table, or floor by the table, to the right or left when you come in, at the top of stairs, on, or next to, any of the crates upstairs and on the table upstairs. I have also gotten it outside behind the girl handing out the samples or whatever she is doing. Once you have your jug of wine you will need to cook up 4 Northern Stew, with your cooking skill, which requires 4 pieces of Chilled Meat. This is why it's always a good idea to have some meat on hand. I have stacks of different kinds of meat in the bank, a full guild tab, but I am a packrat so you can't really go by me. It is a good idea to have Chilled Meat and Rhino Meat on hand for the daily cooking.

Once you have your 4 Northern Stew and jug of wine you deliver it to Arille Azuregaze, (48,38) the bartender at The Legerdemain. He gives you 9g93s, at least one Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag that can contain any, or all, of the following:

Northern Spices
Old Spices
Baby Spice
Dalaran Cooking Award
And if you don't have it, Recipe: Delicious Chocolate Cake. (This is a rare drop, 1.7%)

This is another easy quest, remember to keep some Rhino Meat and Chilled Meat on hand, it makes these daily's go so much quicker.

Good Luck :)

Mustard Dogs!

Today's daily cooking quest in Dalaran was Mustard Dogs!. As usual I did this on both Wranngar and Gomorra as soon as I got on.

This isn't a difficult quest but it can take awhile to get the 4 pieces of Wild Mustard you need if everyone is trying to do it at once, which usually seems to be the case. The Wild Mustard can be found growing in any of the grassy areas around Dalaran. They are small, yellow and, I think, hard to see. They are definitely hard to target. One area that seems to get overlooked is the grassy area around the flight point at Krasus' Landing. I usually have good luck there getting one or two. Another place is that little park place with the benches in the center of town. I also have good luck over in the corner by the Magus Commerce Exchange where you can go down into the Underbelly.

Once you have your 4 pieces of Wild Mustard you will need to combine them with 4 Rhino Dogs to make a Mustard Dog Basket!. You do this by right clicking on the supplied Empty Picnic Basket when you have the 4 Rhino Dogs and 4 Wild Mustard in your inventory. Once you have your Mustard Dog Basket in hand you can deliver it to Archmage Pentarus at Krasus' Landing for 9g93s, at least one Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag that can contain any, or all, of the following:

Northern Spices
Old Spices
Baby Spice
Dalaran Cooking Award
And if you don't have it, Recipe: Delicious Chocolate Cake. (This is a rare drop, 1.7%)

Remember to keep some Rhino Meat and Chilled Meat on hand, it makes these daily's go so much quicker.

Good Luck :)

Battlegrounds 3/6/09

The daily battleground today was Arathi Basin. I did it on Wranngar and we won the first one I was in. It didn't look like we were going to win at the start, we had the Stables, almost had the Lumber Mill and almost had the Gold Mine. Then we lost the Lumber Mill. We went along with only 2 nodes until we were almost 300 behind then we picked up the Farm. Meanwhile I was guarding the Gold Mine and had a few attacks I fought off with help from people who responded to my call of incoming. We put a lot of pressure on the Blacksmith and got most the Horde there then took the Lumber Mill. After that we lost the Farm which put us at 3 nodes to 2 for a little while but then we picked up the Blacksmith and lost the Gold Mine. That still left us at 3 to 2 until we picked up the Farm again. It went like that throughout the entire battle but we ended up winning by over 500 points. I fought in one Eye of the Storm after that, we didn't do so well in there. As a matter of fact I decided to call it a night on the battlegrounds after that one. We lost that one when the Horde 4 capped us pretty much from the start. Everyone was coming off the rock, everyone that didn't just go AFK, and trying to take the Mage Tower and the Dareni Ruins. ALL the Horde were on that side of the field, what they should have been going after was BET and FRR but me and another person were the only ones that did. I got FRR to clock over so at least the Horde weren't holding it when they won, so they didn't get a 4 cap :).

The daily cooking today was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf so I headed down into the Sewers to get some Infused Mushrooms. I got 4 of them pretty quick then ran over to the bank and got a couple Chilled Meat to cook it up with. I lit a fire outside the bank and cooked my Infused Mushroom Meatloaf then delivered it in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. Today my Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices, 3 Old Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award. I got another 20 Northern Spices with my 2 cooking awards and put them in the guild bank. Now I have 173.

I didn't do my Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's today because I really didn't have the time but I did head over to the Storm Peaks to do Overstock. This quest is so fast and easy there is always time to do it. It only takes a couple minutes and pays around 13 gold. I will get back on all my daily's tomorrow night when I have a little more time and I have Sunday off so I should have a little more time to play. I am slowly restocking my gold supply.

Daily's 3/4/09

I only did daily's tonight, I didn't have too much time. I got on Wranngar and grabbed the daily cooking which was Convention at the Legerdemain. This is a pretty easy one, getting the jug of wine can be a pain sometimes but overall a pretty easy quest. I got the jug of wine pretty fast today then went to the guild bank and grabbed 4 Chilled Meat so I could make 4 Northern Stew to complete the quest. Once I had that cooked up I headed over the the Legerdemain and delivered it. For payment I received 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. Today my Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices, 5 Baby Spice and another Dalaran Cooking Award. I have gotten 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards every day since I received my Chef's title. I now have 150 Northern Spices in the guild bank.

I did my daily quest, Overstock, in The Storm Peaks today. As usual this quest only took me a few minutes from the time I picked it up until I handed it back in for 12g96s. This is one I always try to do because it is so easy, goes so fast and pays so well. I did my 6 Knights of the Ebon Blade daily quests, From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone, Intelligence Gathering, Leave Our Mark, Shoot 'Em Up and Vile Like Fire!. You take a little bit of a beating doing these but altogether they pay around 80 gold, so well worth the time to do them.

Wranngar - Daily's 3/3/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and did the daily cooking in Dalaran which was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf. I went down into the Underbelly and picked my 4 Infused Mushrooms then ran over to the bank and got a couple Chilled Meat to cook it up with. Once I had all the ingredients I made a fire outside the bank and cooked up some Infused Mushroom Meatloaf. I delivered that and the guy gave me 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. When I opened the Small Spice Bag I found 4 Northern Spices, 3 Baby Spice and another Dalaran Cooking Award. Not a bad haul at all. Every day since I got my Chef title I have gotten 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards, either 2 for the quest or one for the quest and one in the Small Spice Bag. I hope it keeps going that way. I have been getting 20 Northern Spices a day with my cooking awards so they are adding up quick. I have been cooking too, now that I am not afraid to use them lol.

The daily battleground today was Eye of the Storm. We won the first one I was in pretty easily. We had a 3 cap going for most of the battle and a 4 cap for about 7 seconds. I guess the Horde group was pretty bad but not that bad. I turned that in for 13g23s and 1241 honor. I fought in another battle but it wasn't the same group, not even close. We were behind when I got in then we got ahead and had 3 towers but everyone went flagtard and we lost our 3rd tower, lost our lead and eventually lost the battle.

I did my daily's for Knight's of the Ebon Blade. They are still paying 13g23s each so I keep plugging away at them for some spending money. I did From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone, Intelligence Gathering, Leave Our Mark, Shoot 'Em Up and Vile Like Fire!. These go pretty fast with the exception of Intelligence Gathering which I swear I am going to stop doing every day. I usually end up running around after I have the other 2 in Onslaught Harbor done trying to get keys and open chests looking for documents. Not a really good drop rate on them. These 6 daily's get me around 80 gold a day. I also did Overstock in The Stormpeaks. This is a really easy quest that causes no equipment damage, only takes a couple minutes, and gets you around 13 gold, 12g96s to be exact.

Chef Wranngar 2/27/09

I completed The Northrend Gourmet and Hail to the Chef achievements tonight as soon as I completed the daily cooking on Wranngar. Today's daily cooking was Cheese for Glowergold. Seems this one has been in the rotation a lot lately. Anyway I went around getting Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses and it took awhile today. Didn't really seem to be a lot of people doing it, it just seemed to be taking a long time for respawns. I finally got the 6 I needed and combined it on a platter with the Aged Dalaran Limburger I got in the wine and cheese shop. I delivered it in exchange for one Dalaran Cooking Award, a Small Spice Bag and 9g93s. Today my Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices in it. With the Dalaran Cooking Award I got today I was able to get the last recipe, Recipe: Worg Tartare, I needed to complete The Northrend Gourmet achievement which caused me to complete the Hail to the Chef achievement which gave me my Chef title. I will keep doing the daily cooking for the Northern Spices and Dalaran Cooking Awards which I can use to buy Northern Spices. I have about 75 Northern Spices in the guild bank so I am looking good on those.

I did my daily's for The Kalu'ak after I got the daily cooking out of the way. They didn't take me long and I am getting closer. I will get my Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole when I get done finishing my daily's on Sunday. I skipped the Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's today, I hit exalted with them yesterday and got the chest piece I was after so I decided to take the day off. I did do Overstock in the Stormpeaks. This one only took a few minutes and got me 12g96s for my trouble.

Wranngar 2/26/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and got the daily cooking out of the way right away. It was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf so I went and got my Infused Mushrooms, cooked them up with a couple Chilled Meat, delivered it and got 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag, that had 4 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it, for my trouble. Not a bad haul today at all. I will get the 3rd Dalaran Cooking Award I need tomorrow, buy and cook up my last recipe for The Northrend Gourmet achievement and get my Chef title.

I did my 3 daily's for The Kalu'ak, they are: Preparing for the Worst, Planning for the Future and The Way to His Heart.... It will take me 3 more days to get exalted with them, I will almost be there in 2 days but almost doesn't count. I get 5 gold a piece for these daily's but it is the reputation I am after. After that I did my Knight of the Ebon Blade daily's. They are: From Their Corpses, Rise!, No Fly Zone, Intelligence Gathering, Leave Our Mark, Shoot 'Em Up and Vile Like Fire!. I get 13g23s each for these Ebon Blade daily's which amounts to about 80 gold for all 6. I reached exalted with the Knights of the Ebon Blade today. I got Darkheart Chestguard from the quartermaster for 39 gold. You have to be exalted with them to purchase it. That was a nice deal. I did Overstock in The Stormpeaks too, this is another really easy quest that pays around 13 gold.

The daily battleground was Eye of the Storm today. It took me 3 to get a win. The first battle I was in we had a really bad group, too many flagtards. Everyone was going for the flag instead of towers. Needless to say we lost that one. The next group was a little better but not much. I guess the group was ok for the most part but we had 4 AFK. 4 out of 15 is pretty bad. Anyway we fought pretty hard but lost by a few hundred points anyway. In the third battle we did a lot better, we won that one and had a 3 cap going most of the time, we lost DR towards the end but I think we got it back before the battle ended. Anyway I had the win I needed and completed the daily.

Daily's 2/25/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and did all my usual daily's. I started off with the daily cooking which was Cheese for Glowergold much to my dismay. I ran around Dalaran looking for Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses until I had the 6 I needed. When I was in the cheese and wine shop looking for the Aged Dalaran Limburger and any Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses that might be laying around I found them sitting right next to each other so that saved a little time. Finally I had my 6 Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses, combined them with the Aged Dalaran Limburger on the supplied platter and delivered it to Glowergold. He gave me a Dalaran Cooking Award, 9g93s and a Small Spice Bag which only had 3 Northern Spices in it. I always feel like I get ripped off from this one after the time you have to put in to get the Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. When I checked to see how many Dalaran Cooking Awards I had, I thought I would have one or two, I had 3. That was a nice surprise so I got Recipe: Tracker Snacks and cooked some up. I am now one recipe away from my Chef's title. Yep, pretty exciting times.

I did my daily's for The Kalu'ak after I finished up the cooking. These are pretty easy and, although I don't make much gold off them, I get good rep from them, 500 each. I did Preparing for the Worst first. This is where I fly around a small area and pick up 8 wicker baskets of supplies and deliver them back to the quest giver. A pretty easy quest. It pays 5 gold. Then I head over and do Planning for the Future. This involves going up into the hills and kidnapping these wolf tykes. I do it in flight form which I can not be stunned in and just let the adults beat on me while I pick up the tykes. Once I have them I just fly straight up and break aggro. I turn them over to the quest giver and collect 5 gold and 500 rep. From there I head over to Howling Fjord for The Way to His Heart.... I have to go out and get some Tasty Reef Fish and then lure a Bull Sea Lion over to a Cow Sea Lion so they can find true love. Happens pretty quick so you don't have to hang around and wait. I turn this one into the quest giver for 5 gold and 500 rep. Then it's off to The Stormpeaks to do Overstock. A quick easy quest that gives you around 13 gold. I did my Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's last. They didn't take me long tonight, even shooting down the Drakes and their riders went pretty fast. I will be exalted with them tomorrow and get my chest piece. I make around 80 gold plus whatever I sell the drops for from the Ebon Blade daily's.

Daily's Wranngar 2/24/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and did the daily cooking which was Mustard Dogs!. This can be a really easy one if not too many people are doing it or a really hard one if everyone is trying to do it at the same time. If everyone is trying to do it at the same time I usually go and do my other daily's and then come back to it. Today was an easy day and I got my 4 Wild Mustard pretty quick. I went to the bank and grabbed 4 Rhino Dogs which I cooked up with the Wild Mustard into a Mustard Dog Basket!. I headed off to deliver it to Archmage Pentarus by the flight master in Dalaran but got distracted, went right by him with his big yellow ? over his head, and took off to do my daily's for The Kalu'ak. I ended up turning it in when I got back from doing all my daily's. I got my usual 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. Today my Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices, 5 Old Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award. I went to the cooking vendor to get the next recipe in my The Northrend Gourmet Achievement which I thought was Recipe: Spiced Wyrm Burger but when I went to buy it it said I already knew it. I checked in my recipe list and sure enough there it was. It was one of the first ones I got and, apparently, never cooked. I ended up getting the next one in the list which was Recipe: Spicy Fried Herring. I cooked them both up and now I am only 2 recipes away from my chef title. That turned out to be a nice surprise.

I got my daily's for The Kalu'ak done pretty quick today, got all the drops I needed really fast. I am now 14310/21000 reputation with them so it won't be much longer until I get the Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole. I went over to K3 in The Stormpeaks and did Overstock. As usual this quest only took me a few minutes and I collected my 13 gold and was on my way. I headed to Icecrown to do my Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's from there. I got those done pretty fast too, everything was dropping like clockwork and I breezed right through them. There are 6 that I do for them:

From Their Corpses, Rise!
No Fly Zone
Intelligence Gathering
Leave Our Mark
Shoot 'Em Up
Vile Like Fire!

I get around 80 gold for all 6 of them. Today I forgot to do Shoot 'Em Up and had to go back and do it so that took me a few extra minutes. My reputation with the Knights of the Ebon Blade is 19045/21000. I am pretty close to being exalted with them too. It will not be tomorrow, it will be the next day. Then a few days after that I will be exalted with The Kalu'ak.

Wranngar Daily's 2/23/09

I hopped on Wranngar today before the daily's rolled over and I didn't have anything to do. I could have worked on leveling Gomorra but didn't feel like it. I ended up doing 2 Eye of the Storm battles, both losses. I was in some pretty bad groups. It was definitely the wrong time of the day to be fighting in there. Then I saw in World Defense that Auberdine was under attack so I headed over there to see if there was some Horde I could kill. It was still under attack as I was flying in and could see the place but by the time I landed they were either gone or dead. Either way they weren't around anymore.

When the daily's finally rolled over I headed to do the Kalu'ak first because I was in the Harbor where you first arrive in Northrend on the boat. I did my 3 daily's for them then headed over to K3 in the Stormpeaks and did Overstock. That's a really easy daily that gets you around 13 gold for a few minutes work. I headed off to do my Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's from there. I grabbed the 6 quests I do for them and got them done in no time. All in all all my daily's went pretty quick today. I get around 80 gold for the quests plus drops from the Ebon Knights daily's.

The daily cooking quest was Sewer Stew so I headed down into Crystalsong Forest and got my 4 Crystalsong Carrots which I cooked up with 4 Chilled Meat to make my Sewer Stew. I delivered that in return for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag which had 4 Northern Spices in it today. Not a bad haul I guess, it could be worse as I have seen over the last few days.

Sunday 2/22/09

The daily cooking today was Cheese for Glowergold again... I ran around Dalaran on Wranngar looking for Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses until I had the 6 I needed. I got the Aged Dalaran Limburger while I was in the cheese and wine shop looking for Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. Once I had everything I needed I combined them and delivered them to Glowergold for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. My Small Spice Bag only had 3 Northern Spices in it today, a rip off after having to collect all those Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses.

I did Shoot 'Em Up this morning for Knights of the Ebon Blade and turned that in before daily's rolled over so I was able to do it again today as part of my daily's. I did all the Ebon Blade daily's today which gets me around 80 gold plus whatever I make selling drops. I did my daily's for The Kalu'ak today and am over half way to exalted with them so it should be about 6 more days until I have my Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole. I did Overstock in Stormpeaks too, this quest takes 3 or 4 minutes from the time you pick it up until the time you turn it back in. You make around 13 gold from it, 12g96s to be exact, and suffer no equipment damage.

I did the daily fishing from Old Man Barlo, (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest today, it was Bait Bandits. I headed over to my spot at the waterfall outside Tuurem and got my Blackfin Darter on the 9th cast. Didn't take me too long. I turned that in and got 7g15s72c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks, which I was running a little low on, and 2 Jaggal Pearls. Nothing good today. I did some fishing in the Underbelly, the sewers below Dalaran, today between battlegrounds trying for the Achievement I Smell A Giant Rat but didn't have any luck. I did catch: 68 Sewer Carp, 28 Magic Eaters, 7 Empty Vials, 6 Partially Eaten Fish, 6 Drowned Rat and 1 Leaded Vial. A lot of junk none of it what I needed.

Today's daily battleground was Warsong Gulch so I decided to skip it, I hate WSG. I fought in 15 Eye of the Storm battles instead, 10 wins and 5 losses. We started off not so well, we had 4 losses out of our first 9 battles but then we got back on track and started with the 4 caps and flag running. I got over 10,000 honor and was able to get another piece with my honor. I got Hateful Gladiator's Cloak of Victory for 38,000 honor. Next I will get the boots and then I will have to join an arena team to get the rest. I am not sure how I feel about having to do arena to get the PvP gear instead of being able to get it all from the battleground quartermaster but I was planning on doing arena anyway.

Wranngar 2/21/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and did the daily cooking first thing like I always do. It was Cheese for Glowergold today. This is my least favorite daily cooking quest. I ran around trying to get 6 Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses and that always takes awhile. When I finally had those I headed over to the cheese shop and got the Aged Dalaran Limburger to finish it off. Once I had everything I needed I combined them and delivered it to Glowergold in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. Today my Small Spice Bag had 2 Northern Spices and 3 Old Spices, pretty much a rip off after what I had to go through to get the 6 Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. I got Recipe: Snapper Extreme tonight with the 3 Dalaran Cooking Awards I had so now I only have 4 more recipes to go until I get my chef title.

I did my daily's for The Kalu'ak and now have 9310/21000 reputation with them, after I do them tomorrow I will be over half way. I get 1500 reputation a day doing the 3 quests they have, 500 rep each. It will be another 6 days or so until I am exalted and can get the Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole. That is moving along well :). I did all my Knights of the Ebon Blade daily's except Shoot 'Em Up which you really have to be in the mood for. I am usually not in the mood for it but do it anyway, today I really wasn't in the mood so I skipped it. I will probably do it again tomorrow as part of the group I do.

Daily's 2/20/09

I hopped on Wranngar and grabbed the daily cooking quest straight off which turned out to be Mustard Dogs!. I went in search of some Wild Mustard and soon found that everyone else on the server was looking for some too. I decided to do my daily's for The Kalu'ak and Knight's of the Ebon Blade while I waited for the frenzy to die down. I got all my daily's for The Kalu'ak done, I am over 8300/21000 rep now, and headed over to The Stormpeaks to do Overstock. This is a really easy fun daily that pays around 13 gold. Basically you set out mines and blow up Kobold's and Manataur's. Only takes a couple minutes and you're on your way. From there I headed over and did the Knight's of the Ebon Blade daily's. They take a little while, not too long, but you make some good gold from them, around 80 gold for all 6. Plus I am about half way through revered to exalted with them. They have a chest piece I want to get when I am exalted. I headed back to Dalaran and managed to get my 4 Wild Mustard in about 5 minutes so I cooked that up and turned it in. I got a Dalaran Cooking Award, a Small Spice Bag and 9g93s. My Small Spice Bag had 5 Northern Spices in it today so it was a pretty good haul. I did a little fishing after that and called it a night. The daily battleground was Warsong Gulch today so I decided to skip it. I hate WSG.

Tuesday 2/17/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and did the daily battleground which was Eye of the Storm. We won the first one I was in with a 4 cap so I completed my daily. I fought in 2 more, one win and one loss. In the second win we had a 3 cap throughout and were keeping enough pressure on the Horde's only base that we were able to run the flag without any interference. In the loss we had the battle started off with 13 Horde versus 5 Alliance. That was enough of an edge so we could not recover. They 4 capped right from the start but we did manage to get 2 of them back and run a couple flags. If that battle had started 15 to 15 we would have owned them again. I guess the Horde have to win once in awhile and they need an advantage like that to do it. I find the Horde hysterical to watch. If they have 2 people guarding a node and they see 3 Alliance coming they mount up and ride away, basically giving us the node, they are the biggest cowards I have ever seen. They will almost always run away unless they have the Alliance outnumbered 3 to 1. Basically that is the numbers they need to be able to take down 1 Alliance.

I did my daily quests for The Kalu'ak today too. There are 3 of them and they go pretty fast. I am getting closer to my new fishing pole, the Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole. I get 500 rep each for a total of 1500 a day.

The daily cooking in Dalaran was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf. I headed down into the Underbelly to get some Infused Mushrooms. There were so many people doing it I considered giving up and doing my other daily's first then coming back to it but all of a sudden everyone disappeared and I was able to get my 4 Infused Mushrooms pretty quick. I cooked that up with 2 Chilled Meat and delivered it in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. Today my Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it, not a bad haul. I got another recipe, Recipe: Mighty Rhino Dogs, today and cooked that up. I only have 6 more to go now until I get my chef's title.

Daily's 2/16/09

I hopped on Wranngar today and got the daily cooking in Dalaran done. It was Cheese for Glowergold, one of my least favorite. The reason I am not too fond of this one is the 6 half full glasses of wine you have to pick up around town. There are usually a lot of people doing it at the same time and it usually takes you awhile to get all 6. Today was different, I had my 6 half full wine glasses in about 3 minutes then headed over to the cheese shop to get the cheese. The cheese spawned right as I walked through the door so I got this whole quest done in about 5 minutes or less. For compensation I received a Dalaran Cooking Award, 9g93s and a Small Spice Bag which contained 3 Northern Spices. Not the best haul today. I have 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards so tomorrow I will be able to buy another recipe.

I did the 3 daily's for the Kalu'ak today. These are pretty easy and don't take up a lot of time. It is going to take me about 12-13 days to get exalted with this faction so I can buy the fishing pole they have.

Today's daily battleground was Eye of the Storm. We won the first one I was in and I ended up fighting in 10 altogether, 9 wins and one loss. We had about 5 4 caps in our wins and the rest were 2 or 3 caps and running the flag. In the one we lost we had a team of flagtards, people who think the flag is more important than towers. To give you an idea of how stupid these people were, we were losing our only tower and there were 8 people in the middle fighting for the flag. Of course if they got it they would have no where to take it but that didn't seem to bother them. Fortunately you don't run into too many full groups of flagtards.

Wranngar 2/13/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and grabbed the daily battleground which was Warsong Gulch. I queued up for the battle and got in but I kept getting disconnected. I got disconnected twice while I had the flag which is really bad and also got disconnected a few other times in there. Finally I rebooted my system after a DC but I didn't seem to make a difference. When I got back on the battle had ended, I don't know if we won or lost, the score was Alliance 0 Horde 1 at my last DC. I decided not to bother doing any battlegrounds after that because Blizzard was obviously having problems. Hopefully they will have their act together by the time I log back in tomorrow.

I did the daily cooking in Dalaran which was Sewer Stew. It was nice to have something different for a change after 5 or 6 days of Infused Mushroom Meatloaf. I flew down to Crystalsong Forest and got my 4 Crystalsong Carrots pretty quick, I only saw one other person there collecting them while I was there. I flew back up to Dalaran and cooked them up with 4 Chilled Meat to make my Sewer Stew. I delivered that to the Innkeeper down in the Underbelly and he gave me 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. My Small Spice Bag had 2 Northern Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it. Not the greatest haul but I have been hoarding the Northern Spices so I now have around 70 in the bank.

Daily's 2/12/09

I got on Wranngar tonight and did the daily battleground which was Strand of the Ancients today. I got into the first one a little after it started and we ended up losing that one. I don't know if it was just a really good Horde group or if we had a really bad group but it was over pretty quick. In the second one we had quite a battle and ended up getting our objective with about 1 minute 20 seconds left on the clock. I thought we were going to lose that one too because the Horde got to the objective pretty quick but they could not get the objective because we were holding them off. We ended up winning that one when the clock ran out. I turned that one in then fought in a couple Eye of the Storm battles. We won both of those, the first one took a little while and we had a 3 cap but the second one was a 4 cap. We won that one 2,000/87. I need to get back into Wintergrasp and do some more fighting in there for their marks but I never seem to be around when they announce it is open.

The daily cooking was Infused Mushroom Meatloaf again. This is the 5th or 6th day in a row now. I got my 4 Infused Mushrooms and cooked them up with a couple Chilled Meat to make my Meatloaf which I delivered in return for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag. Today my Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices in it and that was it. I have had better rewards and you would think if they are going to be too lazy to change the daily at least they could kick up the rewards a little.
