Brieanna - Level 45 12/23/09

I worked on Brieanna some more tonight and got her to level 45. I wanted to get her to level 45 before Christmas so I could do Metzen the Reindeer, which I did tonight. I have less than 3 bars to 46 now.

I finished up all the quests I could solo in Hinterlands, one left, then went back to Tanaris and got a couple more there. I did one quest that was orange but got less XP than one of the yellow ones I did, I don't understand that... I hit 44 in Tanaris while questing.

Right now I am questing in Searing Gorge, I started there after Tanaris while I was still 44, that is where I leveled to 45. The mobs I was killing at level 44 were level 47-49, orange and red to me, so I was getting good XP off the kills too. I have a few more quests there, mostly orange, that should get me to 46 easily. I will get more as I go along too. I want to do the one that gets me the Key to Searing Gorge, that makes things a lot easier.

Brieanna - Level 43 12/22/09

Brieanna is coming right along, I got her up to level 43 today. I finished up everything in Stranglethorn Vale and Alterac Mountains then moved on to Tanaris. I did all the quests I could there, with the exception of the dungeon which I will go back to, then went to the Hinterlands and quested for a while. I still have a few more quests to do there which will hopefully get me to 45, then I might check out the Swamp of Sorrows to see if they have anything for me. I am still too low to move into the Plague Lands.

Brieanna - Level 40 Now 12/21/09

I did a lot of questing on Brieanna today and got her to level 40. Level 40 is kind of a big deal. At level 40 Hunters get to switch from leather gear to Mail. It is also when you get your 'epic' 100% mount. You used to get your 60% mount at 40 and your 100% at 60 but they dropped them 20 levels each. I also made her a Christmas outfit to wear around town. It gives absolutely no protection so it is definitely something to wear when not in combat lol.

I cleaned up a lot of quests in Arathi Highlands and Stranglethorn Vale. I really like playing a Hunter, it seems to be pretty simple so far. I am having no problem soloing yellow and orange quests. I haven't tried soloing a red yet because I didn't have any in the ones I cleaned up. Maybe tomorrow I will try one of those. I was able to get her up 3 levels, from 37 to 40, pretty quickly.

I also worked on my Herbalism and have that up to 158 so that is coming along well. I can pick most of the Herbs I am finding while I am questing which is good, I hate having to go back and level up a profession. I have made over 80 gold in the last 2 days with her professions, Skinning and Herbalism. That is pretty good for a level 40 that just started Herbing yesterday I think.

Daily Cooking - Infused Mushroom Meatloaf 12/21/09

Today I had Infused Mushroom Meatloaf for my daily cooking.

This had me heading down into the sewers again to pick Infused Mushrooms. These spawn in random locations throughout the Underbelly. I got the 4 I needed pretty quick but not as fast as usual, I saw a few people doing it at the same time. When I had my 4 I headed up to the bank to grab a couple pieces of Chilled Meat to cook them up with. I built a fire outside the bank and cooked my meatloaf.

With meatloaf in hand I went to see Orton Bennet, upstairs at Curiosities and Moore, and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 5 Northern Spices in it. Not a bad return on this one today, and I really need the spices.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 12/20/09

At least the daily fishing was different today when I picked it up from Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran. Today she had Blood Is Thicker for me.

This one had me taking the flight path to Unu'pe. Once there I flew inland until I found a Marsh Caribou to kill. Killing that covered me in blood so I flew back to shore and jumped in to wash the blood off me and make a blood pool. I fished the blood pool until I caught 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and turned those in to Marcia. For that she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures with 7g47s45c, a Glow Worm, 4 Deviate Fish and a Sealed Vial of Poison. I love getting a Sealed Vial of Poison.

Sealed Vial of Poison starts a quest. I took the quest, which is to deliver the poison to Alchemist Cinesra in The Black Market. I did that and got 13g23s for a minutes effort, not a bad deal.

Convention at the Legerdemain - Daily Cooking 12/20/09

Today my daily cooking was Convention at the Legerdemain again. I hate it when it gets stuck on this one, it eats up my stock of Chilled Meat pretty fast.

I ran over to the bank to grab 4 pieces of Chilled Meat to make the Northern Stew this one calls for then ran over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop, to grab a Jug of Wine. I found it downstairs today. This one is pretty fast and easy, just uses a lot of mats.

I took the stew and wine over to Arille Azuregaze, the bartender at The Legerdemain and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and 5 Old Spices in it. Not a bad haul today.

Breianna 12/20/09

I played Brieanna for a while tonight, I was working on her Herbalism. She has Skinning and Herbalism for professions. Her skinning is at 277 which is right on track for where she's questing but her Herbalism was at 1.

I started picking herbs in Dun Morogh where I was getting Silverleaf, Peacebloom and Earthroot. I had to go see the Herbalism Trainer at level 75 to train to 150. As I leveled up I moved into Loc Modan where I was getting Silverleaf, Peacebloom, Earthroot, Mageroyal, Briarthorn, which seems to come with Swiftthistle, and Bruiseweed. I got everything I could in Loc Modan and moved into the Wetlands. In the Wetlands I could pick Briarthorn, Swiftthistle and Bruiseweed but I couldn't pick the Liferoot and Wild Steelbloom there. I am at 107 now in Herbalism and need to get to 150 before I can pick those.

I looked on Thottbot and saw that I can pick Bruiseweed and Briarthorn in Duskwood so I headed there before I logged off.

When my bags got full I hit the auction house and put all the herbs I collected on there. I should make about 10 gold from them. I can't use them, Brieanna is a gatherer, she will sell all the leather and herbs she gets, she's a money maker.

Daily Cooking - Convention at the Legerdemain 12/19/09

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Convention at the Legerdemain for me. This is another pretty easy one.

Daily Fishing - Monsterbelly Appetite 12/19/09

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Monsterbelly Appetite for me. I did my daily battleground while I was in route flying to Unu'pe so I killed 2 birds with one stone. At least it wasn't The Ghostfish like it had been for the last few days.

This daily had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to Unu'pe. From Unu'pe I flew out to sea in a southeasterly direction until I got to the icebergs you can see from shore. I guess you could even swim out to them if you wanted to. I found a Monsterbelly school and fished in it until I got a Bloated Monsterbelly. I cut that open and, sure enough, there was a Severed Arm inside. I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Olisarra the Kind, (36,37) the Grand Master First Aid Trainer in the Magus Commerce Exchange. For those who don't know what hearthing is, every character gets a hearthstone. You set that to any Inn you choose and you can hearth back there just by right clicking on it. Naturally I have mine set to an Inn in Dalaran so I can use the portals to go to any major city.

Anyway I gave Olisarra the Kind the Severed Arm and she gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today it had 9g23s38c, 5 Pygmy Oil, 4 Solid Gold Coins and 4 Deviate Fish in it. Not a great haul on this one at all. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

I ran over to the bank and grabbed 4 Chilled Meat so I could make the 4 Northern Stew this calls for, then I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop, for a Jug of Wine. I got that right when I walked in and was off to the Legerdemain to see Arille Azuregaze.

I gave him the stew and wine in exchange for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag that had 5 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul today. This only took me a few minutes. I am going to have to spend some of my awards on Northern Spices because I am getting low. I have over 100 awards.

Blood is Thicker - Daily Fishing again... 12/16/09

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had Blood Is Thicker for me, for the 3rd day in a row...

This one had me taking the flight path to Unu'pe. Once there I flew inland until I found a Marsh Caribou to kill. I killed that, getting myself covered in blood in the process, and flew back to shore. I jumped in the water to wash the blood off and create a blood pool. I fished the blood pool until I caught 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and turned those into Marcia in exchange for a Bag of Fishing Treasures. Today it had 6g90s23c, 5 Pygmy Oil and a Tower Key. At least I was able to vendor the Tower Key for 16g66s66c so it wasn't a total loss.

Daily Cooking - Sewer Stew 12/16/09

Today when I saw Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Sewer Stew for me. This is an easy one.

This one had me taking the Violet Gate down to Crystalsong Forest to pick Crystalsong Carrots. Like the last few times there was no one there and I got my 4 fast. I took the gate back up to Dalaran and hit the bank for some Chilled Meat to cook them up with, I needed 4.

Once I had that cooked I headed down into the sewers to see Ajay Green at the Cantrips and Crows Tavern in the Underbelly and exchanged the stew for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 3 Northern Spices and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it. Not a bad haul today.
