Brieanna - Shadowmoon Valley

Brieanna is level 67 now and questing in Shadowmoon Valley. That is probably where I will finish up Outlands because I can head to Northrend at level 68 which I am about 6 bars away from.

I got Bireanna a new Hunter's pet today, The Kurken, which is a core hound, from Stillpine Hold (49,13) in Exodar. I have been thinking about getting her a new pet for awhile now. This one is an "exotic" pet meaning you have to have a point in the Beast Master (exotic pet) talent in your talent tree to tame it. It was level 12 when I found it but jumped to level 62 as soon as it was tamed. It is now level 64. I am pretty happy with it's performance so far. It would be higher but I spent most the time since I got it in the battlegrounds and it doesn't get XP from that. It is a really cool looking pet and I have had a couple people comment on it already. I have only seen one other one and that belonged to a Horde player in the battlegrounds. The only problem with it is I can not switch to Marksman spec in the battlegrounds with it because I have to be in Beast Master spec to summon it. I might still use my wolf in the battlegrounds so I can go Marksman, I am not sure, I will have to see how I do in Beast Master Spec.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 2/01/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Mustard Dogs! for the daily cooking quest. The surprising thing is I did it on Brieanna who is only level 67, not even high enough to be in Northrend, let alone Dalaran.

As usual, this had me running around Dalaran picking Wild Mustard. I got the first two from the back of A Hero's Welcome and the other two around other grassy parts of the city. Once I had the 4 I needed I headed over to the bank and grabbed 4 pieces of Rhino Meat to make the Rhino Dogs this recipe calls for. I cooked them up right in the bank lobby and combined them with the Wild Mustard in the Empty Picnic Basket to make a Mustard Dog Basket!.

I took that over to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing and exchanged it for 3g80s, (Evidently you don't get as much gold at level 67 but I did get experience) a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag with 2 Northern Spices and 5 Baby Spice in it. Not a bad haul for her first daily cooking quest.

Brieanna - Grand Master Herbalism

I have been working on Brieanna the last couple days and she is moving right along. She is level 66 now. She got a couple of her levels in the battlegrounds as I have been doing a lot of battlegrounds on her.

She is currently questing in Nagrand and that is going well, a lot of XP and the quests are easy for her to solo. She got her Herbalism up to 375 and had to go to Northrend to train for Grand Master Herbalism. This is great because it means I can pick anything I find in Outlands. I am finally ahead of the game on that one. Her Skinning is moving right along too, she is up over 400 on that. Needless to say I have no problem skinning anything I kill in Outlands.

I will be spending a lot of time on her going forward as I am looking forward to getting her to 80 and really hitting the battlegrounds and getting her geared. I love fighting in the battlegrounds on her.

Daily Cooking and Fishing 1/30/10

It's been a pretty couple busy days for me, I have been leveling my Hunter Brieanna so I am going to summarize the cooking and fishing for the last couple days. Nothing exciting to tell on these anyway.

On the 30th the daily cooking was Cheese for Glowergold. I did this on Wranngar and Gomorra and as usual I had to run all over Dalaran getting Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses and finishing up with getting the piece of Aged Dalaran Limburger in the wine and cheese shop. I delivered those to Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange and got the usual rewards. nothing special. I didn't do the daily cooking on the 31st, I just never got around to it.

The daily fishing on the 30th was The Ghostfish. I also did this on both Wranngar and Gomorra. This went pretty quickly as it usually does with the exception of the travel time. It takes a little while to fly from Dalaran out to Sholazar Basin. I got the usual junk form this one, nothing special here either. I didn't do the daily fishing on the 31st.

Daily Fishing - Blood is Thicker 1/29/10

Today when I went to see Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, for the daily cooking quest she had Blood Is Thicker for Wranngar and Gomorra. This is a nice easy one but takes a little travel time.

This one had me taking the flight path from Dalaran to the flight point in Un'upe. Once there I flew inland until I found a Marsh Caribou. I killed that which got me covered in blood, part of the quest. I flew back to shore and jumped in, washing the blood off me and creating a blood pool. I fished the blood pool until I caught 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy. This doesn't take long as you catch them 2 and 3 at a time.

I hearthed back to Dalaran and went to see Marcia. I traded her the 5 Bloodtooth Frenzy for a Bag of Fishing Treasures.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g87s9c, 2 Elixirs of Water Walking, a Whale Statue, which I sold to a vendor for 11 gold, and a Waterlogged Recipe. Waterlogged Recipe starts a quest. The quest is to take the recipe to Christi Stockton, the wine vendor at One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop in Dalaran. She gives you 13g23s and 5 Dalaran Cooking Awards for it, a pretty good deal for something that only takes you around 30 seconds.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 6g13s9c, 3 Elixirs of Water Walking and 2 Worthless Pieces of Green Glass. Gom didn't make out as well.

Cheese for Glowergold - Daily Cooking 1/29/10

Today Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, had Cheese for Glowergold for Wranngar and Gomorra's daily cooking quest. This is my least favorite daily.

For this one you have to run around Dalaran getting Half Full Dalaran Wine Glasses. They are really small and hard to target. You need to get 6 of these. Once I had the 6 I needed I headed over to One More Glass, the wine and cheese shop there in Dalaran, and got the Aged Dalaran Limburger this recipe calls for. Once I had all the ingredients I combined them to make a wine and cheese platter.

I took that over to Ranid Glowergold (36,28) at the Leatherworkers in the Magus Commerce Exchange and exchanged it for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 2 Northern Spices in it. Nothing to write home about there.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices in it, he made out a little better than Wrann.

Brieanna Level 62 - 1/28/10

I worked on Brieanna some more today and got her to level 62. Mostly I worked on her skills. I got a few of them leveled up pretty well. I got her Herbalism up to 331, I can now pick anything I come across where I am questing. Her skinning is coming along well too, it is up to 403 now and I don't have any problem skinning anything I come across and I shouldn't, the cap for skinning in Burning Crusades was 375. Her cooking is moving right along, it is up to 386 and is probably as high as I can get it until I am in Northrend and able to get more recipes. The only two skills I can work on are first aid, I can get that up to 400 before I hit Northrend, and fishing. Her fishing needs work and I am not looking forward to that. Leveling fishing is probably one of the most boring skills to level. Her fishing is at 151 so she has a long way to go, she is about 200 points off where she should be.

Brieanna - Level 61 - Flying in Outlands

I got Brieanna to level 61 tonight. I did that in Alterac Valley. This was the first time I ever fought in a battleground on her and didn't do too bad. She came out in the top 5, for Alliance, for damage and kills in most the battles and in the top 10 in all the battles. She now has a total of 699 lifetime honorable kills and some marks and honor. I dual spec'd her before I went in because I wanted to be Marksman in the battlegrounds instead of Beast Master, that is working out well too.

I also did some questing in Outlands and found out, when she hit 60, that you can buy your expert riding skill (225) at 60 and get a flying mount. I got that at Honor Hold in Hellfire Peninsula. Now that she can fly the questing should go a lot faster and will certainly be easier. I will have to get it on Wrangar, my Deathknight, too.

I am going to stay out of the battlegrounds now until she is level 65, then I will be back in there and do nothing but battlegrounds until she is level 70.

Mustard Dogs - Daily Cooking 1/27/10

When I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, for the daily cooking at least she had something different. Today she had Mustard Dogs! for Wranngar and Gomorra.

For this one you need to hit the grassy areas in Dalaran looking for Wild Mustard. Both Wranngar and Gomorra got their first 2 behind A Hero's Welcome today. They got the rest they needed around town, then I hit the bank for some Rhino Meat to make the 4 Rhino Dogs this recipe calls for. I cooked those up and combined them with the Wild Mustard in the Empty Picnic Basket to make a Mustard Dog Basket!.

I took that over to Archmage Pentarus (68,41) at Krasus' Landing, a man that really likes his Mustard Dogs and exchanged it for 9g93s, 2 Dalaran Cooking Awards and a Small Spice Bag.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 4 Northern Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it. He didn't make out too bad today.

Gomorra's Small Spice Bag had 2 Northern Spices in it, he didn't make out quite as well.

Brieanna Level 59 - Outlands 1/26/10

I got Brieanna to level 58 tonight while questing in Silithus. That was all I needed, I dropped all the quests I had and headed for the Dark Portal, the entrance to Outlands.

You level pretty fast in Outlands once you hit Hellfire Peninsula, you have no choice. The main reason for that is you are under non-stop attack form everything there from almost the second you arrive. I did a few quests and leveled to 59. I will need to head back to Azeroth and get my Herbalism up to level 300 so I can pick herbs in Outlands, the lowest level herb there is 300. I think I have around 14 points to go.

Daily Fishing - The Ghostfish 1/26/10

Today Marcia Chase (53,65), by the fountain in Dalaran, had The Ghostfish for Wranngar and Gomorra again.

This had me heading to my spot in Sholazar Basin to catch the elusive Phantom Ghostfish. I got it on my 5th cast on Gomorra but it took me 19 casts to get one on Wranngar. Once I caught it I ate it right away as it is on a timer and disappears after 60 seconds. Eating it produced the effect 'invisibility' which lasts for 15 seconds. After, I headed back to see Marcia and let her know what I found out. She gave me a Bag of Fishing Treasures for my trouble.

Today Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 10g97s83c, a Glow Worm, a Worthless Piece of Green Glass and 4 Deviate Fish in it. Definitely not worth the time it took to fly out there for the second day in a row.

Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 7g74s79c, a Glow Worm, a Velociraptor Skull and 4 Deviate Fish in it. Not worth the time wasted for him either. If it is the same thing tomorrow I will skip it.

Infused Mushroom Meatloaf - Daily Cooking 1/26/10

Today when I went to see Katherine Lee (41,65), the Grand Master Cooking Trainer in the kitchen of A Hero's Welcome, she had Infused Mushroom Meatloaf for Wranngar and Gomorra again.

I headed down into the sewers and picked my 4 Infused Mushrooms, then I headed over to the bank and grabbed 2 pieces of Chilled Meat to cook them with to make my meatloaf. I cooked it up at a fire someone had going then headed over to exchange them with Orton Bennet, upstairs at Curiosities and Moore, for 9g93s, a Dalaran Cooking Award and a Small Spice Bag.

Today Wranngar's Small Spice Bag had 3 Northern Spices, 5 Baby Spice and another Dalaran Cooking Award in it while Gomorra's had 3 Northern Spices and 3 Baby Spice in it. They both made out pretty well today.

Brieanna - Level 57 and Grand Master Skinning 1/25/10

Brieanna got her Grand Master Skinning training today when she reached 375 skinning. That means, before ever questing in Outlands, she will be able to skin anything in Outlands. I am sure she will be able to skin everything in Northrend long before she gets there. I had to take the boat from Stormwind to Northrend to get my training, it cost me 35 gold.

I also got her Herbalism up to 238 tonight. I ran all over the place and had to train at 225 to go to 300. I am at the point where I can pick a lot of the Herbs in the area's where I am questing again, but I want to get it up to 250-275 so I don't run into the problem of not being able to pick something. I am going to have to really keep on top of it this time because I hate having to go back and level up a profession. The only plus side to it I can see is the mobs don't even see me when I am there as long as I don't bump into them.

I also got her to level 57 tonight. I did that before I worked on her Herbalism and after I got my Grand Master Skinning training. I was in Western Plaguelands when she leveled. One more level until I am in Outlands, 3 more levels before she is fighting in Alterac Valley. Before she leveled I was questing in Winterspring. I had one quest there where I was killing level 59 and 60 elites. It was close but I did it, they were 3 and 4 levels above me at the time and elite.
