Daily's 6/6/08

I only did one daily on Wranngar today and none on Gomorra. I will try to get the daily's done tomorrow before the daily's roll over but I might not get to them in time. The one I did was Gaining the Advantage, my daily skinning quest. I got some of it done while I was helping Yonezoe then I flew out to Nagrand and got the rest of them killing and skinning Clefthoof. I got some nice leather out of it too :). Gaining the Advanatge pays 11g99s and a Major Rejuvenation Potion.

Yonezoe 6/6/08

I helped Yonezoe some more today with Wranngar. We did some quests in Zangarmarsh, Terokkar Forest and The Bone Wastes. We had a pretty good time of it and she hit level 63 :). I think the leveling will go quicker in the Bone Wastes and hopefully we will be able to move into Nagrand soon.

Daily Fishing - Wranngar 6/6/08

I only did the daily fishing on Wranngar too today. I will definitely try to get that done on Gomorra before the daily's roll over. Today it was Crocolisks in the City. I had to go to Stormwind and catch a Baby Crocolisk in the canal. The story is people get them then flush them. It took me about 15 casts to get one today, usually it is only 3 or 4. When I had it I took it back to Old Man Barlo and turned it in. My Bag of Fishing Treasures contained 7g35s12c, Sharpened Fish Hookx5 and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife, nothing too exciting. There are some good rewards to be had from the daily fishing quest so I am going to keep on it.

Daily Cooking - Wranngar 6/6/08

I only did the daily cooking on Wranngar today, I didn't get around to doing it on Gomorra yet. Maybe I will be able to get it done in the morning before the daily's roll over. Today the cooking was Revenge is Tasty. I had to fly over to Skettis and kill a Monstrous Kaliri to get a wing. I had to kill 3 before I got one to drop. Once I had that I flew back to Shattrath and cooked it up with 3 Warp Burger. That gave me Kaliri Stew. I handed that in and picked Crate of Meat for my reward. It had Chunk o' Basiliskx8, Clefthoof Meatx6 and a Hunting Knife in it, nothing good today. I also got 7d59s from the daily. No recipe :(.

Daily Cooking 6/5/08

I did the daily cooking quest on both Wranngar and Gomorra today, it was Manalicious. I had to fly out to the Eco-Dome in Netherstorm and pick 15 Mana Berries. It doesn't take long. I picked Crate of Meat for my reward on both. Wranngar got Buzzard Meatx8, Talbuk Venisonx6 and a Torn Furry Ear in his while Gomorra got Clefthoof Meatx8, Warped Fleshx6 and an Unidentified Eye in his. They both also received 7g59s for this quest. No recipe again today.

Daily Fishing 6/5/08

I did the daily fishing quest on Wranngar and Gomorra. It was Bait Bandits. I never did that one before so it was kind of nice to have something new. I got the quest from Old Man Barlo and flew over to Tuurem and fished by the bridge there. I got the Blackfin Darter I needed on my 3rd cast. Then I got on Gomorra and did it again. When I turned them in Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures had 6g87s42c, 3 Elixir of Water Walking and 2 Mote's of Water. Gomorra's Bag of Fishing Treasures contained 7g21s14c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Piece of Polished Driftwood. Nothing too exciting in either of those I'll tell you what but I am still holding out for the good rewards :).

Daily's 6/5/08

I did all my Shattered Sun Daily's on Wranngar today. I also did Gaining the Advantage on Wranngar and Sunfury Attack Plans on both Wranngar and Gomorra. The Shattered Sun daily's took me about 50 minutes today because the Mana Remnants just weren't dropping. I did The Air Strikes Must Continue in one run but it was close, I killed the last Pit Boss on my way out. I made about 125 gold on the Shattered Sun daily's today and 165 gold total on Wranngar.

I went back earlier today, 6/6/08, and did the Shattered Sun daily's on Gomorra before the daily's rolled over. It took me about 45 minutes and I made around 125 gold with drops. I sent that to the bank along with Wranngar's gold like I do every day, it is starting to add up nicely. My next toon won't have to worry about mounts or riding skill all the way to 300 :).

Daily Battleground 6/4/08

The daily battleground today was Arathi Basin. I did it on Wranngar. The first battle I was in ended as soon as I entered so I am not counting that one as I didn't get a Arathi Basin Mark of Honor for it, it was a loss anyway. I did fight in 3 full battles before we had a win. In the first 1 we were just way outclassed, it almost seemed like we were up against a pre-made but that wasn't the case. We did manage to hold 1 base throughout and 2 on and off. In the second battle we held 2 bases throughout and had a 3rd and even a 4th at one point but it fell apart because people wanted more instead of defending what we had. In the last battle we had great communication and teamwork and had 3 bases capped at all times, 4 capped most of the time and 5 for the last 200 points which go really fast when you have a 5 cap. The daily battleground pays 11g99s, 419 honor and 3 Marks of honor for a win which in this case were Arathi Basin Mark of Honor.

Daily Cooking 6/4/08

I did the daily cooking on both Wranngar and Gomorra today, it was Super Hot Stew. I flew over to Blades Edge on Wranngar and killed some Wind Serpents and Raptors until I had enough meat for both Wranngar and Gomorra then I cooked it up and headed over to Forge Camp Terror to kill an elemental. Once I had one down I cooked up the stew in the cooking pot provided and headed back to Shattrath. After I turned it in I logged over to Gomorra, got the meat out of the Guild Vault Wranngar put in there for him and flew over to Forge Camp Terror, cooked it up over and elemental carcass and headed back to Shattrath to turn in. I picked Crate of Meat for both, following the plan to pick that all week, and got for Gomorra, Chunk o' Basiliskx16 and two Large Fang's which I use in leather working. Wranngar got, Talbuk Venisonx6, Chunk o' Basiliskx6 and a Large Hoof. I guess you grind that up and put it in whatever you're cooking to give it texture or character or something :). No new recipes today, better luck tomorrow. They each also got 7g59s for the cooking quest.

Daily Fishing 6/4/08

I did the daily fishing on Wranngar and Gomorra today, it was Felblood Fillet again. I flew over to Shadowmoon Valley and caught a Monstrous Felblood Snapper on the first cast for each. Then I had to fly back to Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and turn it in to Old Man Barlo who gives the daily fishing quests. In Wranngar's Bag of Fishing Treasures there was 7g43s49c, Sharpened Fish Hookx6 and a Giant Shark Tooth. Certainly nothing to get excited about there. On the plus side I don't have to buy any more Aquadynamic Fish Attractor's as I get the Sharpened Fish Hook's from the daily and they do the same thing, +100 to fishing skill for 10 minutes. Gomorra had, in his Bag of Fishing Treasures, 6g59s63c, Elixir of Water Walkingx6 and Jaggal Pearlx2. Once again nothing to get excited about. The Elixir of Water Walking is ok but as a Druid Wranngar can breath under water in water form and Gomorra being a Warlock has Unending Breath allowing him to breath under water. Plus Yonezoe being a Shaman can give me the buff to walk on water so I put those in the Guild Vault for anyone who wants them. Not a great day of fishing but you have to take the good with the bad. Yesterday's catch of a Weather-Beaten Journal will make up for a lot of bad day's of fishing :). Plus a bad day of fishing is better than a good day in WSG anyway.

Battlegrounds 6/4/08

I was in 5 AV's this morning, 2 wins and 3 losses. I did them on Wranngar. It has been awhile since I was in Alterac Valley but there is still the same stupid stuff going on, people going for Galv first, holding SHGY but letting the Horde take DB, the usual. Not much has changed. We also had a lot of AFK in there too. One guy, Lycheas, was AFK in every battle I was in. In one of our wins we rushed FWGY and worked our way into FW Keep taking the towers and relief hut while others capped IBT and TP. We had plenty of time to let all the towers cap and take down Drek. In our other win we rushed IBGY. As soon as that was clocking a group moved forward and took FWGY then moved on to the relief hut and FW Towers. That battle was really close and the Horde were on Vann before we were even close to being on Drek due to heavy Horde defense at FW Keep. But the Horde messed up on that one because they didn't have enough offense to take Vann down, all their players were on defense at FW Keep. They kept wiping. When we were ready we moved in and took out Drek. The new thing now for the AFKers is to go from the cave to DB. It makes it look like we have some defense there but when the Horde move in they kill them all pretty quick then they are AFK at SFGY. It is time Blizzard stops saying they are doing something about the AFK problem and actually starts doing something about it. At the very least the people that are marked inactive should be removed from the battleground so they can be replaced with someone who will, hopefully, fight.

Fishing Wranngar 6/3/08

I did some more fishing on Wranngar today to get my fishing skill up. I went to Terokkar Forest again over by Allerian Stronghold. I caught about a dozen Golden Darter along with a bunch of other fish. It is really easy, I go into flight form and fly along the top of the water until I pick up a school of fish on my tracker, then I land and fish the school out. I move on to the next school and repeat that until I get bored. Today's 5 skill points represent 60-70 catches so the points are coming harder and harder. I got Wranngar's fishing skill up to 335 now, only 40 more to go. I still need to use a +100 to fishing skill buff, such as Sharpened Fish Hook, where I was fishing today but I am coming across more and more spots where I don't need it as my fishing skill increases. I also made another Primal Mooncloth Bag on Gomorra and sent it to Wranngar so now he has three, one more to go :).

Daily Battleground 6/3/08

The daily battleground today was Warsong Gulch. Have I ever mentioned I hate Warsong Gulch? If not rest assured it is my least favorite battleground. I did it on Wranngar and the Alliance won the first one I was in 3/0 so that made it a little less painful. I captured the flag once and was running it a second time when I got set on by 5 or 6 Horde. I always run the right hand side, coming back to our base, when I run the flag. I stick as close to the edge as I can get and usually have pretty good luck as everyone else usually runs right up the middle of the field. It took about 15 minutes overall for the win which is not bad, I have been in some battles in WSG that have run over and hour. The daily battleground pays 11g99s, 419 honor and marks from that battleground which were Warsong Gulch Mark of Honorx3.
