Daily's 6/18/08

I did all my Shattered Sun daily's on Wranngar, as well as the daily cooking, which was Super Hot Stew again and Gaining the Advantage which pays 16g39s and a Major Rejuvenation Potion. I did the daily fishing which was Crocolisks in the City on both Wranngar and Gomorra. I grabbed two Mok'Nathal Shortribs and one Crunchy Serpent out of the guild bank and headed over to Forge Camp Terror in Blades Edge on Wranngar to cook up my Demon Broiled Surprise over an Elemental I killed. Once I had that done I flew back to Shattrath and handed it in to The Rokk (61,15). I picked Crate of Meat for my reward and got 12 pieces of Serpent Flesh and a pair of Patchwork Gloves plus the 7g59s this quest pays. Then I headed to Stormwind to catch a Baby Crocolisk for the daily fishing quest. I got one on my second cast on Wranngar and my seventh cast on Gomorra. I went back to Shattrath and flew over to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest and turned in. Wranngar got, in his Bag of Fishing Treasures, 7g6s79c, 3 Elixir of Water Walking and 3 Jaggal Pearls. Gomorra got 6g82s38c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Rusted Lock. As you can see nothing great in either of those. I did the Shattered Sun Daily's with Heimdahl and we were able to get those out of the way in no time at all. I ended up sending 150 gold to the bank today, not too bad. I am going to get back into doing my daily's more often now that Yonezoe will be 70 soon. Update: I went back a little later and did the daily cooking quest on Gomorra I grabbed a piece of Crunchy Serpent and a Mok'Nathal Shortrib and headed over to Forge Camp Terror (29,78) in Blades Edge. After I got there and killed an Elemental I realized I only grabbed one Mok'Nathal Shortrib instead of two so I had to fly over and kill a couple Raptors to get another one. Once I had that I cooked it up and flew back to Forge Camp Terror and killed another Elemental then I was able to make my Demon Broiled Surprise. I flew back to The Rokk (61,15) in Shattrath and picked Crate of Meat for my reward. I got 16 pieces of Serpent Flesh, which I cooked into Crunchy Serpent and put in the Guild Vault because we were getting low, a Hunting Knife and the 7g39s this daily pays. Nothing exciting there today.

Yonezoe 6/17/08

Wranngar and Yonezoe were both questing in Netherstorm today. There are a lot of quests I never went back and did after I hit 70 so that is good, I can make some gold while I am helping Yonezoe out :). Because I am 70 the quests pay more of a gold reward, anywhere from 11 to 16 gold each quest. We did a lot of quests, most of which we were both on. Yonezoe ended up leveling to 68, only 2 more to go, and I made over 200 gold which made up for not doing a lot of my daily's. We will be there until she reaches 70. I will be making a lot more gold plus gaining more reputation with different factions.

Daily's 6/17/08

I did some of my daily's on Wranngar today. I did the daily cooking which was Super Hot Stew. I took some Mok'Nathal Shortribs and Crunchy Serpent I already had in the guild vault and flew out to forge camp terror to cook it up on my way to help Yonezoe in Netherstorm, it didn't take me long and was sort of on the way. I turned that in and got 6 pieces of Buzzard Meat, 7 pieces of Warped Flesh and a Skinning Knife, nothing good there today. I also did Gaining the Advantage. I did that in Terokkar forest today by killing and skinning Wrap Stalkers and Basilisk. That quest pays 16g39s and a Major Rejuvenation Potion. I always put the potion in the bank as I only use Mana Potions. I got the daily fishing done too, which was Bait Bandits. Pretty easy one, I flew over to Tuurem and fished by the bridge (52,37). It took me 7 casts to catch one then I flew back and turned it in to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest for my Bag of Fishing Treasures which contained 7g6s77c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and a Razor Sharp Fillet Knife. Nothing really good there either. While I was helping Yonezoe I got Sunfury Attack Plans done. That pays 10g10s and Shattered Sun Supplies. I didn't make a lot of gold today but I did make some.

Update: I was able to get the daily fishing and cooking done on Gomorra before the day rolled over. For the cooking reward, from The Rokk (61,15) in Shattrath, he picked Crate of Meat and got 7 pieces of Buzzard Meat, 7 pieces of Warped Flesh, a pair of Patchwork Gloves and the 7g59s that this quest pays. For the fishing quest he got 6g65s76c, 5 Sharpened Fish Hooks, and a Silver Statuette which I sold to a vendor for 15 gold. Not great stuff but I made a little gold off them and got some meat to add to the guild vault. The new questing day starts in 15 minutes so I will do them again soon.

Yonezoe 6/16/08

Yonezoe had a few elite quests to finish up in Blades Edge today so we got those out of the way and moved on to Area 52 in Netherstorm. I was on Wranngar and actually did a quest there that I hadn't done yet, it paid 11g99s so that wasn't too bad. I got it done while helping Yonezoe with her quests. There might be a few more there I can grab too and I know the farther we go into Netherstorm the more quests I will find that I haven't done. The nice thing about them is they pay well in gold now instead of rewards for me. Yonezoe had to log off and it was getting late here so we will work on some more tomorrow.

Daily's 6/16/08

I did a few daily's on Wranngar and a couple on Gomorra today. I did the daily cooking which was Soup for the Soul on both. I am picking Crate of Meat this week and Wranngar got 6 pieces of Serpent Flesh, 7 pieces of Clefthoof Meat and a Skinning Knife while Gomorra got 8 pieces of Clefthoof Meat, 6 Chunk's o' Basilisk and a pair of Patchwork Gloves. They both got the 7g59s that this quest pays too. They both did the daily fishing quest which was Crocolisks in the City today. I had to go to Stormwind to do this one. Wranngar got his Baby Crocolisk on the first cast while Gomorra took 12 casts to get his. Wranngar got 7g34s48c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 2 Jaggal Pearls. Gomorra got 6g52s73c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and an Ornate Drinking Stein which I sold to a vendor for 11 gold. Not very good rewards on any of those today. I also did Gaining the Advantage on Wranngar, my daily skinning quest. I went out to Nagrand and killed Clefthoof which also gave me the meat I needed for Wranngar and Gomorra for the cooking quest. Plus I got some good leather out of it. This quest pays 16g39s and a Major Rejuvenation Potion. I think I was falsely stating that this quest paid 11g99s in some of my other posts but it is 16g39s plus the potion.

Gomorra 6/15/08

I did some more work on Gomorra's enchanting today. I did a run through Shadowfang Keep, in Silverpine Forest, and got a bunch of stuff to disenchant (DE) for materials then I went to The Scarlet Monastery in Tristfall and took a run through the Library and Armory for some more items to DE. All in all I made out pretty good and was able to get my enchanting up to 100, not the 150 I had hoped for but I didn't have a lot of time. It is going to take a little while. I will probably keep doing runs through Scarlet Monastery for materials for a while as there are a lot of greens and blues that drop in there. After that I am not sure where I will go, probably Sunken Temple, an instance in the Swamp of Sorrows.

Daily's 6/15/08

I did all my daily's on Wranngar today. I did the daily fishing and cooking on both Wranngar and Gomorra of course. There were no good rewards from them today. I did all my Shattered Sun daily's as well as the Throne of Kil'Jaeden quests plus The Multiphase Survey and Gaining the Advantage in Nagrand as well as Sunfury Attack Plans in Netherstorm. Yonezoe 6/14/08

I helped out Yonezoe some more tonight with Wranngar. Somehow she managed to find some more quests in
Nagrand so I helped her with those. Those quests took us back to Shattrath, to the Bone Wastes and Zangarmarsh plus a lot in Nagrand itself. I really don't think there is much left for her there but then again I thought that the last time we left there. She hit level 67 tonight, only 3 more to go until 70 :). I imagine we will be heading to Netherstorm soon.

Gomorra 6/14/08

I dropped Jewelcrafting on Gomorra today and learned Enchanting. This will be far less costly than trying to level up Jewelcrafting, which can run into thousands of gold from where I was. Now I have to go around and look for low level items to disenchant. I did one run through Dead Mines (VC), a low level instance, to get some low level greens and I am sure I will do a bunch more before I am done. I think the lower level instances are the place for me to be right now as I can get all the greens I need and can run them solo without any problem. Once I stop getting points from disenchanting things I get from there I will move into Shadowfang Keep (SFK), another low level instance, where I will get items a little higher in level. After that I guess it would be Scarlet Monastery (SM) and keep working my way up from there. I will also get points from enchanting items and will probably give those away free at the start just to level up my skill.

Update: I did another Dead Mines run and then a run through the Stockades, another low level instance, to get items to disenchant. The Dead Mines run was good, got a lot of green items and some more blues but the Stockades was a waste of time, I got 2 green items and a Moss Agate, hardly worth the 20 minutes it took. On the plus side I got Gomorra's enchanting up to 75. I am sick of running through these instances for now so I will do some more tomorrow and see if I can get it up to 150.

Daily Cooking 6/14/08

The daily cooking quest today was Manalicious. I flew out to Netherstorm, to the Eco-Dome on Wranngar and Gomorra to pick my Mana Berries. This is a really simple daily and I recommend everyone does it, I don't think you need to have much of a cooking skill to do it as you don't actually cook anything. After I had my Mana Berries I flew over to the Sunfury Post and did Sunfury Attack Plans on both as I was in the area anyway so I figured I might as well. This is another easy quest that takes no time at all. When I got back to Shattrath I handed everything in and for the cooking quest I picked Barrel of Fish on both toons as is my plan for this week. Wranngar's had 4 Figluster's Mudfish, 4 Zangarian Sporefish and 3 Clean Fishbones, I guess you throw them in the pot and they add flavor. Gomorra's Barrel of Fish had 6 Spotted Feltail, 4 Figluster's Mudfish and a pair of Moldy Leather Boots, just what you want to find in your Barrel of Fish. They each got the 7g59s this quest pays also.

Daily Fishing 6/14/08

Today's daily fishing was Felblood Fillet, looks like I only got a one day break from that. I did it on both Wranngar and Gomorra. I went to the Pools of Aggonar (39,37) in Hellfire Peninsula on Wranngar and Shadowmoon Valley (40,59) on Gomorra to fish for the Monstrous Felblood Snapper. I got one on the 6th cast on Wranngar in Hellfire Peninsula and the 1st cast on Gomorra in Shadowmoon Valley. Then I went back and turned in to Old Man Barlo (40,59) at Silmyr Lake in Terokkar Forest for my Bag of Fishing Treasures. Wranngar's had 6g97s71c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks and 2 pieces of Salvaged Scrap Metal, nothing too exciting there. Gomorra's had 6g84s19c, 4 Sharpened Fish Hooks, 2 Jaggal Pearls and Spun Truesilver Fishing Line. The Spun Truesilver Fishing Line permanently adds +3 to your fishing skill so that was a nice, useful reward :).

Yonezoe - Blades Edge 6/13/08

I helped Yonezoe some more in Blades Edge tonight on Wranngar. She got a lot of quests done, everything they had for her at Toshley's Station, during which I was able to get my daily cooking quest done, and then we moved on to Evergrove in Blades Edge. There were more quests there that we did, a bunch of them, and she got a lot more XP out of there. She now has about 7 bars to go before she levels up to 67. There are still a bunch of quests left to do in Blades Edge before we move on to Netherstorm. Hopefully she will get to 70 this weekend. Once she hit's 70 I want to spend a couple weeks doing the daily's for gold and we also need to start doing the Netherwing quests every day if we are going to get Netherdrake Epic Flying Mounts.
